The elevator

Richie, Potsie, and Ralph are going on a school field trip to downtown Chicago. While picking groups, they had to add one of Richie's old friends who only likes elevators to the group. Once they arrive at the hotel, the group gets stuck in an elevator. How will they get out?

2. The groups

Richie arrived at school, greeted by Ralph and Potsie. They were going to be called to the busses right after school started. When the bell rang, they were told to line up in the gym. Richie, Potsie, and Ralph lined up as ordered.

"This is going to be so fun!" Richie said. "Right?!"

"Hey! No talking Cunningham!" A teacher yelled out to Richie.

"Alright everyone. We all know that we are going to Chicago. 4 People will stay in each room. We are all on the 12th floor of the hotel, and we will assign a room to you once you pick your group. Okay everybody, pick your groups!" A teacher called out to all.

"Alright, Richie, Ralph, Your definitely with us together." Potsie said, in excitement.

"They said 4 people.. not 3!" Ralph said. "Get someone quick, or we will end up with the worst person!"

"Why don't we get.. oh he's taken. What about.. shes also taken. Maybe... Aw man shes taken too. How about him.. Oh, What did I expect." Richie said, Disappointed.

The teacher started to walk around to tell groups their room.

"You are 1214, and you are... Wheres your 4th person?" The teacher said.

"We don't have one.. Sorry!" Potsie said.

"Then get one." The teacher said. "Now!"

"Okay, Okay." Potsie said, going over to find somebody.

Potsie brung back one of the nerdiest people in the grade.

"Alright. You will be in room 1215!" The teacher said. He then walked to the next group.

"Potsie..." Richie whispered to Potsie. "He's a nerd. He only talks about elevators!"

"Elevators?" Potsie said to Richie.

"I'm Darren! Did somebody say something about an elevator?" Darren said.

"Oh god." Richie said. "Well, Darren, you should be excited because theres an elevator inside the hotel."

"I know." Darren said. "Did you know that the hotel has pretty new Westinghouse Select-O-Matics?"

"No, I didn't!" Said Richie.

"Me neither," Ralph said. "This will be fun..."

"Can we sit at the back of the bus?" Potsie asked.

"Sure!" Ralph and Richie said.

"Well, I think-" Darren said as Potsie cut him off.

"AMAZING!" Potsie abruptly said.

"Yea, Darren will probably talk about the WistonHouse Select-A-Mart or whatever it is!" Ralph said. "Haha, I still got it!"
