A/N: Naturally, because KagamiPINKAgreste got me more into the Miraculous fandom, I wanted to do a fic of her favorite pairing for National Hug Day. Granted, she's probably already done one by now, but hey, that's not gonna stop me. PINK, I hope you enjoy!
It was another cold winter day in Paris, and Kagami Tsurugi was on her way to do some shopping as her mother forced her to do. She wondered why Tomoe didn't get one of the servants to do this, but on the other hand, she valued any opportunity she could get to get away from that hellhound excuse for a woman. Besides, she genuinely enjoyed a good walk. So far, nobody bothered her, and she bothered no one…that is, except…
"Hey Kagami!"
Kagami paused and turned around to see who'd addressed her: none other than Adrien Agreste.
"Hello, Adrien. How are you today?"
"Well, I'm happy now that I get to see you! How are you?"
"I wish I could say I'm good, but unfortunately, I've been forced to go shopping for my evil monster of a mother."
Adrien frowned. "Yeah, my father's kind of forcing me to go buy this rare book for him." His smile returned. "On the other hand, I'm glad I saw you, because there's this holiday I wanted to celebrate with you."
Kagami raised her eyebrows. "Oh? And which holiday was this?"
"It's National Hug Day!"
Kagami smiled. "That sounds like a nice holiday. If you wanted a hug from me, I'll gladly give you one."
"Great!"
Adrien and Kagami gave each other a big hug. Ever since he met Kagami, Adrien had always thought she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever met, but when she proved to be an equal at him in fencing, he knew right then and there that he was madly in love with her. Since that day, they had shared many a happy memory, but this was by far one of the happiest yet. Even if she wasn't the softest, most cuddly woman he'd ever held, she was warmer than even the warmest of summer days, and holding her helped him to forget about the evil bastard excuse of a father he had. Granted, he wasn't totally sure that he wanted to get married to her, but on the other hand, he couldn't leave her. She was special to him.
Kagami considered Adrien special, too. Being under Tomoe's wing for so long, she never had an opportunity to make any close friends or even fall in love, but having met this green-eyed blonde, she found that life could be some better. With him, she didn't have to fear being alone. With him, she could be her true self and feel great about it. Even if he wasn't the most muscular guy she'd ever met, she still enjoyed having his arms wrapped around her. It also helped her to forget about her mother, who was what the Rolling Stones would call a "bitch". It also reminded her of all the good friends she'd made since then, and she would never, ever forget his kindness. Eventually, the bob-cut blunette let go, but not without a smile on her face that shined more brilliantly than all the gold in Fort Knox.
"Thank you so much, Adrien."
"You're welcome, Kagami. Mind if I have another?"
"Yes, go ahead."
Adrien and Kagami hugged again. This hug didn't last as long as the first, but for them, it was long enough.
"I love you so much, Adrien Agreste."
"I love you too, Kagami Tsurugi. Also, while we're here, I have a question…"
"Yes?"
"Wanna randomly make out?"
Kagami giggled. "Do I?"
And so, Adrien and Kagami proceeded to make out. Even if they were going to have to come back to their evil parents, at least for now, they could bask in the comfort of each other.
Criticism is gold. Negativity and nitpicking are pyrite.
