A/N: Draco Malfoy belongs to JK Rowling, I don't own him im just borrowing him for this little adventure. The words highlighted in italics and bold are song lyrics from the song 'wildest dreams' and they belong to Taylor Swift not me. I created nothing but my oc, Holly Potter.

He said, "Let's get out of this town

Drive out of the city, away from the crowds"

I thought Heaven can't help me now

Nothing lasts forever

But this is gonna take me down

"What if we just flew away?" he asked her, head tilted lazily up from where he lay sprawled on the grass. He pointed upwards towards the heavenly summer sky and Holly watched as a little bunch of sparrows flew southward. They were laying on a thicket of mossy grass, just bordering the woods that lined the edge of Hogsmeade. No one would see them here, it was like they were in their own little pocket of the world.

Holly sighed "we can't just fly out of town, Draco" she said exasperatedly "we'd be seen for one."

Draco rolled his eyes "there's clouds" he argued, waving off her concern "c'mon it'd be fun to get away from the crowds."

For a moment she let herself imagine it, let herself picture sneaking off with him. It was an appealing image and she fleetingly contemplated what it would feel like to walk through the streets openly holding his hand. Then she shook her head.

"Clouds?" she rolled her eyes "yes let's fly through clouds and get ourselves soaking wet, what a wondrous idea."

He didn't respond to her sarcasm, merely rolled over and propped his arm up on his elbow, chin pointed toward her. His silver grey eyes sparkled as they shamelessly rolled over her body, appraising her figure in the white sundress she wore. "It is a wondrous idea" he repeated with a smirk.

It took Holly a second to realise what he was getting at, thinking of what would happen to her white dress if it got wet and she gasped. "Draco Malfoy!" she scolded, reaching out to swipe at his chest.

He caught her fingers easily, seeker reflexes meaning he didn't even have to try, and grinned up at her as he kept them trapped between his larger, warmer hands. Butterflies swarmed in the pit of her stomach at the contact and she bit her lip to try and push them down.

"Yes?" he asked mock innocently and Holly rolled her eyes again, hoping it would hide how flustered she felt.

She knew that nothing lasted forever, that they could only have so many stolen moments like this before the luck ran out and reality settled back in, but hell it was going to be the end of her. He was like a fallen angel, beautiful but twisted, tempting her closer and closer to her own downfall. She knew that she should protect her heart and stay away, that she shouldn't let herself fall for something with such a clear expiration date but…she didn't think even heaven could help her now. Not when he smiled at her, not when his eyes twinkled like that and so she didn't stand up and leave. She leaned down and kissed him instead.

He's so tall and handsome as hell

He's so bad, but he does it so well

I can see the end as it begins

My one condition is

The first night that they kissed she saw him from the window of the common room. Though it was late and dark outside, the moon providing just a sliver of light, she could just about make out his figure leaning against the castle wall below. She didn't know what made her do it, she never knew why she did it, but soon she was slipping on her cloak and sneaking through the corridors to join him.

He didn't look up when she finally reached him, though he nodded as he continued staring straight ahead. "Potter" he greeted and curtly and she responded in kind "Malfoy."

They stood in silence for a moment though rather than feeling awkward it felt charged. The air around them wrought with a tension neither of them had dared to cross yet. "Fancy seeing you here" he drawled eventually, breaking the silence with some sarcasm.

Holly scoffed. He always saw her here. He would stand in view of the common room and wait for her and she would go to him. Neither of them knew why they did it, just that they didn't want to stop.

"It's after curfew, Malfoy" she whispered back, finger absentmindedly tracing her shiny head girl badge.

He didn't look at her though he smirked, the corners of his lips turning up in amusement.

"Going to put me in detention, Potter?" he asked, still smirking.

"Maybe this time I will." Holly said, trying to catch him off guard but Draco only smirked harder.

"We'll see" he said and Holly scoffed again. She could put him in detention, she should, but they both knew she wouldn't. They'd been having these little moonlit meetings every week for a month now and if she was going to turn him in she'd have surely done it by now.

Draco pulled the familiar little silver cigarette case from the inside pocket of his cloak. He flipped it open, placing one between his lips and lighting it with one hand. Holly watched him and tried to pretend the ease with which he did it wasn't as terribly attractive as she knew it was. Then he tipped the case towards her "want one?" he asked, as always.

"Okay" Holly said and reached out to pull one from the midnight blue velvet lined case. Finally Draco looked at her, his head turning sharply to the side, she'd never said yes to his offer before.

"Rough day?" he asked, trying, and failing, to make his voice sound indifferent.

Holly shrugged but he could see the tension in her shoulders as she thought back to the fight she'd had with Harry. "You could say that," she replied cryptically. She didn't wait for him to offer the lighter, instead plucking it from between his fingers and lighting her own cig.

She held it between her own fingers for a second, trying to copy the way she had watched him do it, what felt like a hundred times before as she lifted it to her lips and took a drag. The smoke, ashy and bitter filled her throat and she began to cough uncontrollably, bracing a hand on the cool, smooth stone of the castle wall beside her.

"You're doing it wrong, Potter" Draco finally said and Holly barely suppressed the desire to stick her tongue out at him childishly at the obvious quip. "You've got to hold the smoke for a couple of seconds, take a deep breath and then exhale. You didn't hold it."

He held his cigarette aloft, the tip burning a molten shade of amber in the darkness of the courtyard. "Like this" he inhaled and exhaled perfectly, a cloud of smoke passing his aristocratic lips and Holly shivered, not from the cold. How did he do everything so perfectly? So effortlessly cool.

She held her own cigarette up, eyes narrowing at it as if it were defective before attempting again. She coughed a lot less this time, reluctantly finding Draco's advice helpful.

"Better?" she asked sarcastically but he shook his head. He stepped a little closer then, and her back thudded against the cold stone wall behind her. Perhaps someone else might have been afraid when he stepped closer still, his body all but pressing her to the wall, but not Holly Potter. She squared her shoulders up defiantly, pushing her chin upwards.

Salazar's spit he was tall. Her head reached just under his chin and she had to arch her neck up high to meet his eyes. Silver like molten steel but glinting with something else tonight, his eyes had always entranced her.

"You didn't inhale properly, Potter" his voice was lower than usual and Holly held a breath she didn't realise she was holding.

He reached out and pressed a finger to her chin, a light barely there touch that made her want to shiver again. "Why don't you show me how to do it properly then Malfoy?" She asked.

The edge of his mouth lifted up in his trademark smirk once more. "Part your lips" he said softly and before she had time to regret it or think it over she did as he asked.

He lifted the tip of his still lit cigarette up and inhaled some smoke before he leaned forward, free hand braced on the castle wall above her head. She forced herself to keep her eyes open as he leant in, heart hammering so loudly in her chest that she wondered if he could hear it.

Gently, so gently that his lips only tickled hers, he blew the smoke into her mouth and Holly tried hard to concentrate on holding it there before she inhaled and exhaled lightly. She didn't cough once.

His eyes sparkled and he made no move to remove his arm from above her head, no move to leave her personal space.

Holly's heart was hammering again, her mind racing. She wondered how she'd managed to go so long without noticing just how handsome Malfoy was. He was not just tall, he was handsome as hell and now he was so close it seemed to be the only thing she could think about. The perfect shape to his eyebrows, the slope of his nose, the curve of his lips into that insufferable but sexy smirk. His white blonde hair, looking almost like a halo in the darkness, the very hair that had alerted her that it was indeed him when she'd been watching him from the tower.

It seemed like they spent an eternity staring at one another though in reality it was probably only a minute. Neither one of them knew which one leaned in first, all they knew is that their lips were pressed together, finally kissing and they never wanted to stop. Holly's arms wound around his neck, pulling him down to her lips as Draco tugged her waist closer to him. He tasted like peppermint and cigarettes and it was a kiss that left her breathless and wanting more all at once.

Later that night when she was laying on her bed, curtains drawn sharply around her to block out the light, Holly thought about what she had done. She had kissed Malfoy, her own brother's worst enemy and the bane of her existence for so many years. She'd kissed him and she wanted to do it again.

This could only end one way, in crashing fiery flames, but god right now she couldn't care less. His lips were a poison she would willingly drink.

I said, "No one has to know what we do"

His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room

And his voice is a familiar sound

Nothing lasts forever

But this is getting good now

"Your brother is going to kill me, '' Draco muttered, pulling away from Holly's lips and groaning. "Your friends are going to kill me. How many Weasles are you friendly with again? Just so I have a vague idea of how many rabid gingers I have to avoid."

Holly rolled her eyes, suppressing the urge to laugh. "No ones gonna kill you, don't be such a drama queen."

"They'd definitely give it a good go if they knew about us."

He pulled her closer to him, brushing a lock of her hair behind her ears "if they knew about all the things I want to do to you." His voice was a familiar sound now and Holly recognised the desire simmering beneath the surface. She wanted to push this thing, whatever it was between them further, wanted more than stolen moonlight kisses.

Holly shivered, "well" her voice was teasing, eyes sparkling up at him "no one has to know what we do you know…"

He smirked and his hand went from gently cupping her cheek to pushing into her hair, keeping her gaze on his "so no one has to know about all the late night kissing?"

She stepped impossibly closer, their bodies flush "among other things…" she whispered and she just saw the way his pupils dilated before his lips crashed to hers.

Later on, as his clothes that she had insisted would look better on her bedroom floor lay crumpled in a pile in her room, she thought that this - whatever this thing between them was - was really getting good now.

Say you'll remember me

Standing in a nice dress

Staring at the sunset, babe

Red lips and rosy cheeks

Say you'll see me again

Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha

Wildest dreams, ah-ah, ha

They'd taken separate dates, for appearance reasons of course, but at the end of the graduation ball there was only the two of them as usual. They were laying up on the astronomy tower, watching the sun go down, Holly splayed lazily across Draco's chest as he drew patterns on her hip.

The half empty bottle of fire whisky, amber liquid glowing in the sunset, was a testament to their lowered inhibitions and looser than usual tongues. Somehow both of them knew without having to communicate to the other, that this was their last night together. They'd have no reason to see one another again after graduation.

"Do you ever wish it could always be like this?" Draco asked, "that we could stay here forever?"

"All the time" Holly whispered, voice wrought with emotion.

They didn't say anything more. They'd danced and kissed and slept together one more time. They'd swayed to music that only the two of them would ever hear and said more with their eyes than words ever could.

Finally Holly stood up and walked away towards the railing. She watched as the sky burnt a beautiful shade of orange, mulling out into a dusky pink with clouds criss crossing across it like a tartan pattern. She would miss this view and this sunset and miss the person she had always spent these late hours with.

"Will you remember me like this?" She finally asked.

Draco watched her. Standing there in her beautiful ball gown that silhouetted her figure perfectly. Soft silk draped over her delicate skin. He could remember the way his lips had trailed over every inch of that skin as the dress did now, could remember the way those eyes that were now filled with tears had gazed lovingly at him.

He stepped towards, cupping her cheek in his hand and pressed a kiss to her red lips one last time. "Always," he agreed. Then he stepped away, moving towards the exit.

"This isn't goodbye" he called out, stealing one last glance at his love in a nice dress staring at the sunset with her red lips and cheeks cast with the rosy glow of the pink sky.

"It's see you later" she finished though both of them wondered if that would only ever be in their wildest dreams.
