I don't own either Naruto or Highschool DxD. All rights belong to the respective author.
Author Note:
Tr1vium: It take place during the Supernatural War, then it goes to the civil war before ended up to the canon timeline.
voidprince: You got a point there; our knucklehead ninja is no longer a mortal...I was thinking of changing the title to the Strongest Immortal? Let me know what you think since this Naruto has all three attributes, God, Mortal and Dragons.
Guest: I better rephrase the statement, I stopped watching DxD after Season 3 and this isn't the first version of the Strongest Human, this is the third rewrite of the Strongest Human. Another thing, this is a collaborative work between myself and my beta reader, did you misread that as well? Better comment with your main account, and if you want to diss others then get out of here.
xSean: You were right, the current Naruto here is not the same as the previous Strongest Human, and I did point out to my beta reader whether we should change the title or not, my first proposal was the title changed to The Strongest Immortal. Aside from that, I understand that some people have some form scrutiny to which they would try to put others down. I agreed with your statement that we cannot keep everyone happy, but hey if that was me, I would simply brush the story off and moved on to the next one since if it's something that doesn't suit my taste does not mean I should make someone else feels down. Regardless to those kinds of people, I'm grateful with your words of comfort hehe.
thor94: We'll see.
ZhongEi: Cheers mate, thanks for your support.
Guest (about Dxd x Naruto one-shot lemon fic): Commision me and I might. Tbh, I'm not the type to write that kind of story since I'm not really an expert in writing that but if you want to see some lemons...we can probably head to or somewhere else? I dunno honestly lmao.
bibink729: Tiamat huh, can you send me a link to how she looks? Appearance aside, I'm kind of curious why you wanted her to be added to the pairing, let me know your reason so I could make a decision whether to add her or not, and one more thing, I'm not going to promise anything since I'm thinking of keeping this a single pairing however since this is a crossover with DxD, harem is inevitable.
If anyone wishing to support me financially you guys can visit my profile and buy me a coffee hehe. Anyway, I'm thinking of writing my own light novel, it's currently being written, at most only 10% done. I'll probably post the summary here with the intended link for the said story.
Chapter 2
Back to you
"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!"
Around the summoning sigils, four Hokages were around the summoning circle with their hands pressed on the ground while directing the chakra to the summoning circle.

A massive cloud of dust enveloped the summoning area, not just with the four Hokages but an additional five figures stationed near the summoning circle. As the dust settled, the imposing figures of all the Bijuus surrounded them, forming a complete circle.
"You're back!" exclaimed one of them, a tall and fair-skinned man whose physical resemblance to Naruto was unmistakable. He wore a short-sleeved long white haori adorned with red flame-like motifs on the edges, featuring the title 'Yondaime Hokage' written vertically down the back.
Minato, wearing a pleased expression, surveyed the assembled Bijuus. However, the joy was short-lived as he noticed the solemn and silent expressions on their colossal faces. Their heads were bowed, an air of melancholy hanging around them. Perceiving the presence of Kaguya, Hagoromo's mother, who floated beside the summoning circle, the Hokages couldn't help but sense an ominous atmosphere.
Puzzled by the Bijus' subdued demeanor, Minato inquired, "Guys, what's the matter?" His confusion deepened as he exchanged glances with the other Hokages. Something was amiss, and it became evident that Kaguya's presence had triggered an unusual reaction among the Bijuus.
Minato's eyes widened in realization when he noticed a crucial absence. Peering into the center of the summoning circle, he discovered an unsettling void. It dawned on him that Team 7 was nowhere to be found.
"Where's Naruto?" Minato's voice echoed with a mix of impatience and worry, raising a notch as he sought answers from the silent Bijuus. "Aren't Kakashi and the others supposed to be here?"
Silence hung in the air, a heavy blanket of uncertainty that only deepened Minato's growing concern. Son Goku, one of the Bijuus, attempted to speak, but the weight of the situation seemed to rob him of words. His head lowered in a gesture of profound sadness, adding an unsettling layer to the already tense atmosphere.
The Sandaime Hokage, his face etched with horror, felt a dreadful realization clawing at him. "No..."
"Where the hell is Naruto?" Minato's impatience escalated, a tinge of desperation coloring his tone as he raised his voice.
In the midst of the tension, the floating figure, Hagoromo, finally decided to break his silence. "Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura's souls have reached the Pure Lands. I felt and sensed that their souls have departed from their mortal bodies." The solemnity in Hagoromo's revelation cast a shadow over the gathering, leaving the Hokages grappling with the weight of the news. "As for Naruto…..he's beyond my reach."
"Kakashi," Sandaime Hokage uttered his name in sadness, the weight of the loss settling heavily on his shoulders.
Minato, eyes widened in horror and disbelief, dropped to his knees, staring at the ground in anguished silence. Tears leaked from his eyes, tracing paths down his cheeks, as despair overtook him. Slamming his hand on the ground. "No, no, no! NO! NO!" Each word echoed with the profound grief that had engulfed him.
The Hokages, though seasoned warriors, stood in a rare moment of vulnerability. The air was thick with an overwhelming sense of loss, the absence of Team 7 leaving an indelible void.
Sandaime Hokage, shoulders slumped, approached Minato and placed a reassuring hand on his trembling back. The other Hokages, their expressions reflecting a mix of sorrow and helplessness, gathered around, forming a circle of support around their grieving comrade.
The Bijuus, ancient beings with immense power, looked on with a solemnity that seemed to extend beyond their colossal forms. They, too, understood the magnitude of the loss, the disruption in the fabric of existence caused by the departure of those who had fought valiantly alongside them.
"If only," Minato broke through his sentence, his voice strained with regret. "If only I was there, then he, Kakashi, and the others would still be alive."
"Its not your fault." The Shodai Hokage said to Minato, joining Sarutobi. Know how much it hurts of a father losing their own son.
"It's easy to blame ourselves for things we couldn't control," Sarutobi said to Minato, his voice soft yet firm. "But sometimes, life takes its own course, and all we can do is endure the pain it brings. Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura were exceptional warriors, and their legacy lives on. We have to honor Minato. We fought and we lose." Sarutobi said to Minato.
Tobirama, keenly observed the subtle cues, catching on to a crucial detail from the conversation with the six-path sage, Hagoromo. A specific line lingered in his mind, prompting him to narrow his eyes in contemplation.
"Hold on," Tobirama interjected, addressing Hagoromo. "You mentioned Kakashi and the others are in the Pure Lands, right?" Hagoromo nodded. Tobirama pressed on, a hint of suspicion in his tone. "But you also said Naruto is beyond your reach. What do you mean by that, Six Path sage?"
Hagoromo met Tobirama's gaze, acknowledging the probing nature of the question. "It means I cannot sense or reach out to the Child of Prophecy," he clarified.
Minato, amidst his tears, looked up at Tobirama, the flicker of hope dimming in his eyes. "Beyond reach? What does that mean for Naruto?" The Bijus, towering and ancient beings, paid close attention to Tobirama and Minato as they listened intently to the unfolding discussion.
Hagoromo closed his eyes for a moment, still speaking. "When Sasuke's soul reached the Pure Lands, Naruto emitted a vast amount of chakra that exploded beyond dimensions itself. During his battle against my mother, the last thing I could sense was Naruto being taken away by someone or something in the dimensions between."
"So... So he's alive?" Minato's voice carried a note of hope. "Is he still alive?"
Hagoromo opened his eyes, the weight of the revelation evident in his gaze. "I cannot say for certain. The dimensions between are unpredictable, and Naruto's chakra signature vanished from my perception. However, the explosion of chakra was a testament to his resilience. Whether he is alive or not, Naruto's spirit persists."
Tobirama, ever the strategist, contemplated the information. "Taken away in the dimensions between... Is there a way to trace him? Find out where he was taken?"
Hagoromo shook his head. "The dimensions between are elusive and chaotic. Even with my abilities, tracking Naruto in the realm is beyond my reach for now."
Minato, though tempered by a glimmer of hope, still carried the weight of uncertainty. The Hokages and the Bijus stood in shared contemplation, grappling with the enigma surrounding Naruto's current existence.
"But that means he's safe?" Sarutobi said to Hagoromo. "Do you know where he is?"
Hagoromo took a moment before responding, "A place called the dimensional gap."
"Dimensional Gap?" Tobirama repeated what the six-path sage had said. "Is that one of Kaguya's dimensions?"
"No, it is much more different," Hagoromo clarified to Tobirama. "It is a gap, an existence between dimensions of dimensions. An endless void sketches across dimensions." Hagoromo explained, his voice carrying the weight of the unknown. "I once explored there and nearly got lost within the dimensional Gap. However, in my brief venture, I saw something remarkable. Various worlds, different realms that exceeded even my understanding. I did not take the risk of further exploration, fearing that I might be lost within the Gap."
The Hokages exchanged glances, the realization sinking in that Naruto's current whereabouts were in a realm so elusive and incomprehensible that even Hagoromo, the six-path sage, had hesitated to delve deeper. The concept of a dimensional gap raised more questions than answers.
Sarutobi, despite the uncertainty, sought reassurance. "If Naruto is in this Dimensional Gap, is he safe there?"
Hagoromo sighed, the weight of responsibility evident in his ethereal presence. "Safety in the Dimensional Gap is relative. It is a place of both potential and peril. Naruto's resilience is his strength, but the dangers within the Gap are unpredictable. He is in a realm beyond our understanding, and his fate remains uncertain."
"Old man…" the gruff heavy tone from Kurama causes the hokages to look at the nine tailed fox, silent permeated from the Rikudou Sennin, for a moment neither side said anything until Hagoromo glance at the youngest amongst the nine, the Kyuubi no Yoko has grown so much, and like a proud parent that he is couldn't hide the smile any longer."I can still traced his chakra…this dimensional gap you spoke of, it's far, beyond our realm, however I can feel it; my other half still resides within him, this is my resolved old man, I want to return to him, I want to see how his story ends, whatever obstacle exist in that world, I must be there to overwatch him, just like how you entrusted the Elemental Nation to us."
Gyuuki tensed, he could feel Kurama's emotion resonating within his heart, and seeing the silence from the other Bijuu made the eight tailed realized; they all shared the exact same emotion.
"D-dont be ridiculous!" Shukaku, the eldest amongst the nine shouted in disbelief, a human managed to change the heart of the great arrogant Kurama?
What a joke!
But, the silence between the rest made him even more annoyed.
"I refuse to go there! I want to live with freedom! In this world, I want to-"
"Kurama is right…" Matatabi interrupted, ignoring the ludicrous expression on Shukaku's face, it hasn't been that long since she materialize in the world, but the exhilarating feeling she has that time with Naruto brought back so many wonderful memories. "I want to go there as well, I want to save him…and if he doesn't need a saviour, then I want to fight alongside him, just like ol little Yugito."
Son Goku closed his eyes, the times he has with Roshi was unpleasant and one he refused to repeat, but the fate of one Uzumaki Naruto is what gathers everyone here, at this very moment and he understood the feeling of yearning for someone, just like that time they yearned the love of one Hagoromo Otstuski.
"I'm in, I will back you up Kurama."
Kokuo chuckled, it's rare to see everyone agreeing…so rare she couldn't helped herself to allow her tails to wag behind her.
"I'm in as well."
Isobu sighed, there's no going back then, as much as he enjoyed freedom…this time, it's their turn to help a mortal that managed to resonate in everyone's heart.
"I'm in as well."
Chomei grinned as she moved her little handforward.
"A journey to the unknown, we might not know the fate within that world, but I bet it will be a one hella journey."
Gyuuki eyebrow twitched, the ox for some reason was caught off guard at the way Chomei said those words, it reprimanded him of a certain Jinchuriki of his.
"The kid needs help, but I'm not going with you guys, I will give my chakra on behalf, that way I can stay here with Bee and watch the Elemental Nation for everyone's stead."
Each and every tail beasts agreed except one, Shukaku who was still hesitant.
"Hurry up Shukaku, we don't have much time left!" the six tailed, Saiken scolded his eldest as the latter scowled.
"W-what do you want me to do? I refuse! I want to be free, not back inside a brat stomach!"
Hagoromo sighed with a smile.
"It matters not," the Rikudou Sennin started, glancing at his children with a smile then his gaze rested on Kurama, the one so pure and innocence, turned evil and filled with hatred and back to a being that can differentiate evil and good, Kurama…once again, he has grown so much. "Neither of you need to go, instead I shall send Kurama there, this will be a one time thing since I don't have much time left."
Kurama's eyes saddened as he nodded in understanding.
A journey to the unknown like what Chomei has stated, it will be one filled with hardship since the only visitor who managed to step into that world was none other than the Rikudou Sennin himself.
"Are you prepared for that Kurama? Like I said before the safety in the Dimensional Gap is relative, but to get there you must do everything in your power to create a rift to enter it, this is my gift to you, my child."
Kurama grinned as he nodded.
"I'm ready old man."
"Then, let the plan commence." Hagoromo declared, as the ground beneath their feet trembled under his might as the entire Elemental Nation was shrouded in ethereal blue flames, the chakra flaring under his control, almost blinding their sight, the bijuu could feel it, how their power were divided, pooling around the nine, before gathering under Kurama, then with burst of energy, the pure chakra touched the heavens, illuminating the desolated shinobi world, the trees crumbling down, as the branches withered before disappearing in a brilliant golden light, with the cocoon snaring the people in it disappeared alongside the shining white light erupted from the moon.
Before the sealing was a success, Hagoromo made sure to used the chakra that has been absorbed into the Shinju as a source of energy for this plan to work.
And once it was done, he send it all into Kurama, the Kyuubi no Yoko tensed feeling the surge entering his system, the tremendous amount of chakra rushing into him causing the ground beneath his feet to buckled, forming a huge crater, the hokages watched in bewiildremen, witnessing the work of a deity that they considered as the Rikudou Sennin.
The chakra was warm, so warm it soothes their mind from the anxiety, it was so pure they couldn't believe it came from chakra.
A minute turned to an hour, as they watch Kurama growled under the tremendous amount of chakra, his power spiking, blue mixing with red before turning orange then eventually settled to gold, a pillar that reached to the heavens as he contained everything within him, controlling them according to his wills and Hagoromo sighed in relief.
Kurama stood on the ground, ten long tails gently swaying behind him, his body has grown so huge, it was almost the same size as the Jyubi himself. The nine tailed fox closed his eyes, feeling the thread of chakra all over the elemental nation before he set his sight towards the golden thread of chakra that exist far beyond their realms.
The dimensional gap…
"So be it." Kurama muttered as he glanced at Hagoromo and nod in gratitude, bidding his farewell to all the Bijuus before settling his gaze on Minato. "Is there anything you wished for me to say to him, Minato?"
The Fourth Hokage could feel the lone sweat trickling down his cheek, staring at the being that is currently the Kyuubi, the chakra within him was huge, comparable to the ocean…. perhaps even the stars in the cosmos itself?
Minato chuckled.
He still remembered the day Kurama wreaked havoc thanks to the influence of the sharingan but right now this very being is…the only want to wish to stay by his son's side.
'If only Kushina was here to see this…' the Fourth Hokage thought with a smile before nodding at the Kyubi. "I am glad to see how much he has influenced you, Kurama."
The nine tailed snorted, amused at the fact the Fourth Hokage was correct, there's no denying it, Naruto has indeed changed him and there's no point in hiding it, since he was glad, he can use this power to help the child of prophecy instead of those spiteful uchiha.
A pregnant silence between them was enough to make him gather his thoughts and with a smile he said.
"He has truly become such a splendid young man…and I…no… Kushina and I will always be proud of him, thank you for being his guardian Kurama. Just like back then, even now… I shall entrust my son to you. I will leave the rest under your cara Kurama.".
"I will!"
Kurama nodded as his body engulfed in golden chakra, then with a leapt he jumped to the sky, ascending beyond the heavens, tracing down towards one chakra that led him towards a new world.
"A journey into the unknown…huh"
(Somewhere)
"Dammit! Where the hell are you taking us?" One man in a monks robes said to his fellow monks, only except they had animal features on them. One of them had a crow's head, with black feathers around his body and wings on his back while the other had a Ferret, only having some human features minus the fur coming from his body.
"Oi! You're not allowed to say those foul languages, especially comparing to the likes of those damn demonic creatures." The raven retorted back at the human monk.
"Well cry me a river." The human monk retorted back at the Raven. "I was in the middle of mediation before you assholes just showed up at the temple and dragged me here in a forest and in the middle of nowhere!"
"Didn't you sense it?" The Ferret asked the human monk.
"Sensed what?"
The human monk, still fuming, glanced irritably at the Ferret with a skeptical expression. The Ferret, unperturbed by the monk's irritation, pointed towards the dense forest surrounding them.
"The disturbance in the spiritual energy, brother," the Ferret replied calmly. "Our sacred connection to the elements, the very essence that binds us to this world. Surely, even amidst your meditation, you felt the imbalance in the energy currents."
The human monk squinted, recalling the moments before his unplanned abduction. His initial frustration shifted to a pensive expression as he reluctantly admitted, "Well, now that you mention it, there was a sort of disturbance. But what does that have to do with kidnapping me and bringing me to this forsaken place?"
The Raven monk, still maintaining his avian composure, chimed in, "We are here on a mission, brother. We need to check the source of this energy. Whatever it could be, its not something we could ignore."
"(GROAN)! Fine." The human monk said to the Raven before he followed him and the others further down the forest.
The trio ventured deeper into the mysterious forest, the atmosphere thick with an otherworldly energy. They stumbled upon a clearing bathed in an ethereal glow. In the center stood a tree unlike any they had ever seen. Its branches were made of shimmering gold, and delicate leaves of the same radiant metal rustled in an otherworldly breeze. At the apex of the tree, a small, golden cradle gently swayed, cradling an infant adorned in robes that mirrored the shimmering hue of the tree.
The sight left the trio in awe, their initial apprehension replaced by a sense of reverence. The Ferret monk's eyes wide with wonder whispered, "This is no ordinary tree. It's a manifestation of celestial energy, a rare and sacred phenomenon."
The Raven monk, cradling the infant gently in his arms, observed the golden-haired child with a mix of fascination and concern. His avian eyes, now reflecting the subtle glow of the golden tree, narrowed with intensity as he spoke, "And the child – that infant is no ordinary being either." With deliberate steps, the Raven walked towards the child before delicately taking it from the apex of the golden tree.
As the Raven presented the sleeping child to the others, the human monk and his Ferret companion drew near, curiosity etched across their faces. The human monk hesitated for a moment before extending his hands to touch the child's face, a mixture of awe and unease evident in his expression. "This child, this boy," he murmured, his fingers gently caressing the small, whiskered features. "Who would abandon a child like this?" His frown deepened as he pondered the mysterious circumstances surrounding the infant's presence in the sacred tree's embrace.
The Ferret monk, ever attuned to the energies surrounding them, contemplated the child's divine essence. "Could he be a child of a divine being? A demigod, no less?" The Ferret's eyes glowed with a discerning light as he sensed the potent combination of divinity and energy emanating from the child.
The human monk shook his head, his intuition guiding his analysis. "It can't be, look at his face." He pointed at the distinctive whiskers, gently rubbing them as the child stirred in response to his touch. "Those whiskers are a part of him; he could be a part Yokai." The deduction lingered in the air, leaving the trio grappling with the implications of a child born of both divine and Yokai heritage.
"But why would a Yokai even abandon their child here, no less on this tree?" questioned the Ferret monk, his voice filled with perplexity. "It's giving off a huge amount of Senjutsu."
"Guys, I don't want to cause any alarms, but…" The Ferret paused, glancing between the golden tree and the infant cradled in the Raven's arms. "I think the senjutsu is coming from… him."
"What? What could you possibly mean?" The human monk's eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and concern.
"It means this boy… he's a natural-born sage," the Ferret declared, the weight of his words hanging in the air.
"A natural born sage?" The Raven exclaimed, his avian eyes widening in a combination of surprise, shock, and disbelief. The notion of a natural-born sage was unprecedented—a being already harmonized with nature from birth, as if the very Earth recognized a chosen individual deeply attuned to the lifeforce of the land.
The Ferret, concerned about the potential consequences of leaving the child unattended, spoke to the monks, emphasizing the moral and ethical dilemma they faced. "What should we do? We can't leave the child here, and if we do, someone else might discover him. Lord Buddha would condemn us for abandoning the boy into the wrong hands."
The human monk, sharing the Ferret's concerns, weighed the risks of various options. "And we can't take him back to the temple; it's too risky." The potential ramifications of introducing the mysterious child into their monastic sanctuary echoed in his words.
The Raven, breaking the contemplative silence, offered a solution that resonated with a glimmer of hope. "I think I know of a solution," he said, his avian composure taking on a thoughtful demeanor. "There is a couple in the village who have been yearning to raise a child. They are known for their kindness and love for all living beings. He might find safety and care with them."
The human monk considered the suggestion, his gaze shifting between the infant and the Raven. "But how can we be certain that the child will be safe with this couple? We know little about his origin, and his senjutsu is too dangerous to be left alone."
The Ferret, always practical in his approach, added, "We could inquire about the couple, perhaps observe their lives discreetly, and ensure that the child will be raised in a good environment."
The Raven nodded in agreement, "We owe it to this child to provide him with a chance at a nurturing and stable upbringing. The village couple may be the key to safeguarding not only his physical well-being but also nurturing his inherent connection to the natural forces."
"Alright, then it's decided," the human monk declared, drawing their attention to the important matter at hand. "What should the child's name be?"
The Raven and the other monks fell into a thoughtful silence, contemplating the perfect name for the unknown blond child. The gentle rustling of leaves and the mystical whispers of the forest surrounded them as they immersed themselves in the task of bestowing a meaningful identity upon the infant. Ideas flowed through their minds like a gentle stream, each monk grappling with the responsibility of assigning a name that would resonate with the child's destiny.
Amidst the collective pondering, a sudden gust of wind swept through the Raven's ears, carrying with it an ethereal whisper—a subtle message from the yokai spirits that inhabited the surrounding woods. The Raven's eyes gleamed with an understanding, and a serene smile adorned his avian features.
"I know of a name we could give him," the Raven announced, capturing the attention of the others. As the monks turned their focus to him, the Raven's expression reflected a sense of connection to the spiritual energies that enveloped them.
The Raven, with a quiet confidence, declared, "His name shall be.
Naruto."
Chapter done, don't forget to give a favorite, a follow and a review. The next update will be God of Shinobi, Written Future and A Mentor's Legacy; a Naruto x Honkai Star Rail is in the work since the previous version is scrapped...I just don't like the direction it was going. But to amuse the curiosity of my readers, it will be a Naruto x Jingliu...it might change later on since the setting I'm going with is during the Abundance War in the Xianzhou Luofu. I'm also thinking of updating my old stories, which amongst my works do you guys wish to see? Let me know in the review.
