"Luffy-ya we have to get up"

"But Traffy~" Luffy says laying in bed he was on his stomach, hugging a pillow.

"Do you really want to just stay in today?" It had been a total of 20 minutes of Law trying to get him out of bed.

"Yes"

Law sigh "Fine, let me make a few calls and I'll be back" Law walks out of the room while Luffy cuddles closer to the pillow. It had only been 2 days since the incident and Luffy was already starting to act a bit more like himself. Once Law informed his father he wouldn't be going out today either he went back into the room, Only to see Luffy giving him puppy-eyes while reaching his arms out. These past few days has made Law learn the Luffy likes to cuddle. A lot. He silently walks over to the bed and climbs in, hugging Luffy to his chest with one hand while the other tangles itself in the youngers hair.

"Hey Traffy" Luffy says, catching Law off guard as he thought the younger would go back to sleep.

"Hmm"

"I'm sorry" This catches Law even more off guard causing him to look down at the smaller boy.

"Why?" He dare asks.

"For everything, For making you worry, for ruining this trip, for hurting you in your pride the other day. I'm just so sorry"

"Luffy-ya, you have nothing to apologize for, It's not your fault you're remembering something or having a traumatic time or anything"

"Can I request something"

"What"

"Lets actually get to know each other. Like you know more about me, but you don't actually know me"

"And how do you propose we get to know each other" Law asks wondering why the mood shifted in the conversation.

"Lets take turns saying one thing about ourselves, You go first"

"I love the color yellow"

"Wow, Well I love the color red"

"The Pink Flamingo isn't my real dad"

"Ace and Sabo aren't my blood related brothers" The made Law do a double take but ignore asking questions.

"I'm a certified doctor"

"I never finished high school"

~3 hours later~

This kept going on until Law found Luffy was dosing off and truth be told he was too. By now the pair were too tired to actually filter what they were saying and just said what came to their mind.

"I never met my real parents, I only ever knew Grandpa, Shanks, Ace, and Sabo" Law felt tears on his chest but chose to ignore it as Luffy wasn't trembling nor was his voice.

"I watched my sister die in front of me" He soon felt tears prickle his eyes as he remembered the traumatic event of his sister being crushed in front of him due to an earth quack.

"I-I was alone for 2 years" Luffy says just staring at Laws chest as they both silently cried but continued on.

"My first adoptive father died trying to save me" They both fell silent as they got closer to each other. Deciding it be best for them both to take a nap rather than continue.
