The Daily Lives of The Owl Familia: P2:
The Noceda-Clawthorne Epilogue
Summary: Nothing left to say; just see how it all ends.

"...I think I'm going to miss this the most," a fourteen-year-old Eda said, looking fondly at the toddler on her lip.
"Si."
"I couldn't agree more," Lilith added, gently stroking Luz's hair. "But we all agreed; we stopped this after the fourth Ghoul Break. But you can't deny it has been a fun four years."
Eda looked from the napping basilisk on her lap and nodded at her sister. She glanced at Amity napping on Camila's lap, sucking her thumb, and then looked around the house.
Eda smiled as she saw the many pictures lining the wall where her large wanted poster once rested.
The ex-wild witch's eyes landed on a picture of Boscha and Heather outside of Carol's Clothing+Grdgby, the demon realm branch of the popular human clothing store. Eda looked a little closer and saw the Soul Stone necklaces the human and witch wore.
Eda's smile shrunk somewhat when she saw the following picture; it had Boscha and her future wife standing with the Trisights. Though Sabria looked happy, hugging her daughter, the cane she held drained some of the warmth from the moment.
Eda looked away from the picture, and her smile grew when she saw the next photo. It was a picture of Vee and Masha vacationing on a tropical island in the human realm. She giggled when she noticed how fluttered Vee looked, her ears in the middle of waggling and causing the soul stone on her right ear to jiggle.
The next picture showed the EE Flyer Derby team holding the Isles league championship trophy. Eda saw the red on Hunter's face as Willow held him close, her soul stone bracelet clear as day. Not too far from that photo was an invite to Alador's and Nora's wedding.
Eda couldn't help but shake her head good-natureally at the next picture she came across; it showed Jenny Hopkins, wearing the teaching robes of Hexside, in front of said school. Next to the former male were Cat and Luna, hugging each other. To the left of Jenny was her entire family, looking proud.
"...I always will find it funny," Lilith said, getting her sisters' attention.
"What's that, Lily?" Eda asked curiously.
Lilith looked at her younger sister with a soft smile and replied, "You started this with the intent of helping my niece relax during a stressful period. But you sent into motion an event that would give childhoods to those who never truly had one."
Eda blinked and looked down at the napping girl in her lap. She smiled warmly and gently ran a sigil-less hand through Vee's hair.
"And," Camila added, getting Eda's attention, "Like Lilith said, it's been a fun four years. But now it's time to let our children grow up and live their vidas."
"I couldn't agree more," Lilith agreed, then looked to her right. "Besides, it's not like we won't be without children around the house."
Eda and Camila followed Lilith's eyes and saw a playpen near the loveseat where Raine was napping soundly with King on their lap.
In the Playden were two witchlings, a boy and a girl, barely a year old, playing happily. The boy had Eda's skin and eye colors but Raine's hair. The girl was somewhat the opposite; she had Raine's eyes and skin but had her Aunt Lilith's hair color.
Those two were Melody and Manny Clawthorne-Whispers, the newest members of the Owl Familia.
Eda smiled fondly at her new children, then looked at the one on her lip. She ran a finger through Vee's hair and then looked at her sisters.
"It's like I said to my witchlet two years ago," the ex-bard witch said softly, "I wouldn't have seen my life ending up like this, but I wouldn't have it any other way."
The other mother smiled warmly, nodding their agreement. Then, the three leaned down and kissed the current children on their foreheads.

And with this, we end the Noceda-Clawthorne Series, and what a ride it has been. When I started this series nearly two years ago, I only planned to make three stories, but the support of my readers and the show kept the ideas coming. Then, I decided to be silly and challenge myself by giving each of the nine magic types a negative trait per story.
And while part of me will miss this series, how no fear, the "knock-down" cuteness isn't over just yet! In the next four to five months, I will begin a trilogy of stories with the Amphibia cast, with the potential for a crossover with my Noceda-Clawthrone series!
Before we go, I would like to share with all of you some crib notes; first, there were some cut chapters to Daily Lives, mainly dealing with Alador and his hidden resentment towards his father. I cut this after changing things with the "Raven Will Soar" story.
Next was Boscha; during the early drafts of Daily Lives, her story was very different. I had planned to have her, Luz, and Amity roughly shrunken to doll size and needed to get to Amity's locker to get her scroll to contact Lilith. During the journey, Boscha will repeatedly panic because (in my story) this would have been Boscha's first life-threatening event.
It wouldn't be long before Amity loses her temper and tears into Boscha, telling her how lame she was. Boscha wouldn't have taken that lying down and tried to fight back, only to have Amity just scoff and point out that if she can't handle the stress of a little misadventure, she would never make it in the real world. The story will end with Boscha reflecting on her life after a talk with one of her mothers and somewhat making up with Amity.
Now, with everything out of the way, I want to thank all of my readers for enjoying reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them. Until we meet again, let the light of the Isles shine bright!
