Founding Squadron Supreme and big 3 member Power Princess and new recruit Spider-Man were the special guests on the latest edition of the Reily Redding Show. Spider-Man came to the Power Princess's honour in regards to some choice words from the crowd and it led to a passionate moment between the two..."
Peter had gotten up a bit later than usual the next day to find the story on the TV. "I was looking through the channels and I was about to switch through this trashy news show but I got a glimpse of a certain story coming up next..." May told Peter with a small smile as Peter gulped as she went and hugged him. "I don't expect you to share your personal superhero stuff with your aunt but I hope that you can invite her over to meet her... Sometime before the wedding..." May then said as Peter gave her a look.
"Thanks for understanding my privacy and it just started... I will be careful and I don't know where you will go. but if there is a chance; then I know to introduce you both..." Peter told her and she continued smiling at that.
"To think that you were a kid paying with your Power Princess toy... She is definitely one to admire... Unlike that Nighthawk..." May muttered as Peter just stared at her as she had said that last bit with a bitter tone of voice.
Fury groaned as he had awakened along with Coulson in separate hospital beds badly injured with Fury finding that he didn't have vision in one eye. What vision in his last eye returned he saw a group of agents in suits along with a smirking Valentina. "So we are dead and this is Hell... You must be the Devil and I have to say that you have a sick sense of humour choosing to appear before me in that form..." Fury remarked at her with a glare.
"Funny Nicky but you would think that I would have expected a bit more gratitude that my boys retrieved your barely alive bodies amongst the corpses of your unit... Plus the medical attention that you have both received and sorry Nicky but you will have to make do with one less eye from now on..." Valentina told him as Coulson had awakened half a minute before Fury. "You two are lucky since you both managed to survive a direct attack on your unit by the combined might of Hyperion and Doctor Spectrum... I would be willing to bet money on you both surviving if every nuke on the planet exploded at once." Valentina then continued on.
"Pepper... She was helping us and she paid the price... I wasn't there to save her... Should have just let me die..." Coulson muttered in grief.
"Ah yes Ms Potts... Sorry, Mrs Coulson... Brave woman she was and digging in for evidence of Stark and Ultron though the evidence is gone now but I have a proposal for you both to turn your grief and anger into righteous anger..." Valentina told them as Fury glared harder at her.
"Cut the annoying talk Val and spill what you want to offer us?" Fury demanded as Valentina sighed.
"You never did appreciate the dramatic arts Nicky but when you are given a clean bill of health... I want to train you both and work for me... Black ops stuff; officially you are both dead but unofficially you run a unit that answers to me that no one else knows about... A few years and then you use the skills you learned and your military expeience to form a special off the books project... The goal is to take down Stark Industries and the Squadron Supreme... Kill them and free the mortals to run the world where the supers will answer to their government and not a manchild with a goatee..." Valentina then explained to them as they thought it over...
Fury shrugged off that memory and focused on watching the computer files sent to him by Coulson from a recon mission that he had sent him and Scott on. "So... You said that the Spider wouldn't indulge in that vices and could be counted on to be your little obedient puppet... Can I say that I told you so yet?" Castle asked Fury who glared at him as they had heard the news.
"Yes Frank; we underestimated his ability to put his feelings aside for the assignment but he is still our best inside source for the Squadron... Maybe we can convince him to get information out of her while she has the Power Princess on her knees before him..." Fury snapped at Castle shaking his head as he hated when people he thought was predictable turned out not to be. "Let's focus on this... Coulson has got the files from the hospital where the parents of Albert Gaines better known as Nuke were admitted... Both passed away a month ago to an advanced stage of Cancer and I think it's a safe bet that Nuke knows that he mostly likely gave them it form the close proximity of their son... Be used against him..." Fury told Castle with a grin as he looked behind him and his eyes widened as he noticed Richmond was there as Nighthawk.
Castle noticed and went to attack Richmond only to be easily subdued and knocked out in a headlock. Fury was up on his feet and had a gun pointing to the exposed bit of Richmond's mask. "Congressman Richmond." Fury told him as Richmond was unphased.
"Your little mole Parker was easy to track as he has been using the same route to this place. Used similar fighting style when you all invaded by lair, after what you all did at Camp Lehigh... After you killed Hawkeye... After you killed Skrullian Skymaster... After you recruited this shell of a man as well as the masked lunatic who got Gwen Stacy killed..." Richmond told him with a deep glare.
"I don't think that you were too bummed out about losing that Skrull or even Hawkeye despite him being a regular human... You saw this big conspiracy that you didn't know the goals of but we kind of been acting towards the same goal as you... Put humanity's future back in the hands of humans which I think you wanted to try by keeping an eye on the Squadron Supreme from the inside since the day it was formed... But with all the stuff from beyond that could threaten the world without the Squadron... You are probably displeased by how big and fancy the whole thing of Stark sponsored heroes are but do you even know how corrupt it all is... Between the two of us and the resources I have; we could build a way to protect the planet to make it safe for us to do our job...You know I wouldn't mind having you as my inside man instead of Parker..." Fury told him as Richmond stepped forward.
"Suppose that I actually agree with what you are saying and even if I think for a moment to entertain your offer instead of calling the authorities or even the entire Squadron Supreme down here... What bargaining does a supposed dead man have to make such an offer to me?" Richmond asked as Fury smirked.
"With you as my inside man then I wouldn't need to keep the webhead around; he would be free for you to take justice for your sidekick..." Fury then asked.
Peter had gone out on patrol as Spider-Man and he heard about the escape of the bulking mutated villain enemy of his; the Rhino a Russian mobster enfitted with a set of armor that made him extremely strong and dangerous but unable to take it off. "You sure that you want to do this again Rhino? So much people at risk and how much it costed to fix what you damaged last time..." Peter asked Rhino glaring and got ready to start slinging away to dodge and get people out of the way as he was getting ready to charge.
The police were evacuating the citizens as the Rhino charged but teleporting in front of Rhino was Zarda there who ended up unphased as Rhino slammed into her like a normal person running into a brick wall head first. Zarda got out a golden chain and put it around Rhino's head to subdue him. "Chain of Veracity; subdue you and reveal the truth!" Zarda then told him as he was fading into unconscious.
"I like fly fishing and the armor covers a bad bit that always itches bad..." Rhino ended up saying as the crowd was cheering on Zarda who smiled at her.
"Didn't expect your girlfriend to come in to assist you? Hope you are not like Nighthawk; he is a nightmare when someone tries to help him with his own rogues... Several of which you adopted..." Zarda told Peter as he smiled at her and allowed her come over to put his arm in her's. They waved to the crowd taking pictures with their phones as Zarda teleported them to the Rocket Central with Peter realising that this was happening.
They noticed Walker was there staring at a monitor with Ledger besides him; it showed phone footage of Walker acting as Captain America in Sokovia the previous night to try and find a terrorist suspect. The civilians were less than appreciative of him or his gruff approach; with him demanding someone if they knew who he was.
"Don't sweat it Cap... The world can be stupid and ungrateful... Makes me think if things would be better if we put the entire world under our control... Show true freedom and liberty to the world..." Ledger told Walker as he put his arm on his shoudler with Walker putting his head down as Ledger got glares from Peter and Zarda.
"Oh sure; force a dictatorship to show what freedom is..." Peter snarked as Ledger noticed them.
"Zarda; I heard the news and I never imagined that you were into the spider guy..." Ledger said as Zarda just stared at him with him shaking his head. "Your girl always had it in for me since our first year in the Squadron... She was filming an ad that had the military involved and I was there... Just a bit of fun but with a construct and I snapped the strap she had on her purple leotard... The soldiers there got a good look at her..." Ledger whispered to Peter who then yelled as Peter 'accidentally' put his foot over Ledger's foot as he walked forward.
Zarda smirked as she then followed Peter; "There is the new power couple... You kind of screwed up plans Spider-Man as I was hoping to teach you the ropes of being a free bachelor but good for you... Decades of pining over a dead sailor and she moves on; to someone who I hope to train as my student!" Stark told them grinning as Peter gave a small wave to him holding back his annoyance at seeing him. "Interrupting something between you two.. Don't worry as I will leave you both but expect to be paired together more in the future..." Stark told them as he then left them as Zarda decided to show Peter to her room.
"How have you dealt with Stark and Ledger so long..." Peter ended up asking as she shook her head.
"Utopian advanced lifespan but they don't make it easy... When I decided to become public again and had met Tony Stark again after first meeting him when he was 9... I never expected that he wasn't that less mature since all those years..." Zarda explained before letting go of her frustration and smirked at him. "So... Are you up for something to mark this being more than a fling officially... Done some roleplay with previous partners... Me punishing you for being a criminal or you having me captured... If you have ideas of your own..." Zarda suggested as Peter then to agree for another intimate session with her.
"We can just be us..." Peter said going closer and putting his mask to his nose and she went down for a kiss as she guided his hands to her rear.
"You can take charge again to make it up for upstaging you today..." Zarda then told him as she felt his hands with them moving up to remove her belt.
Let's see if we can imagine that Nighthawk is as good a detective as his inspiration from DC Comics and we have our Marvel version of the Boys here who so far are shown to be just as about put together and professionally competent as Team Peacemaker (okay we can give Spidey more credit in that he didn't take a dossier that Fury gave him and left it in Zarda's room as they got it on), the main cast of Archer or the League of Freedom from Supermansion... Shouldn't be a surprise that he would end up finding him especially with him having an eye on Spidey.
