Aizawa was exhausted. He would take ANY kind of a break- even if it meant a nap on his feet, but for now, he was doing adoption paperwork at his desk. Eri was playing with wooden painted blocks on the floor in the suite, just outside the bedroom. Yamada was with her.

Finally, Hizashi came to the bedroom, letting Eri watch a show on the television, under a blanket.

"Shota. Get some sleep. I'm begging you at this point." Yamada said.

Aizawa turned in his chair. He looked like HELL. "I still have to deal with Midoriya. He scribbled with ink on his walls."

Hizashi laughed, lightly. "I'll take care of it. YOU go rest."

Shota thought. Hmm. He WAS tired. Sleep sounded excellent. "I'm going to spend some time with Eri." Aizawa decided.

"Sounds delightful." Yamada chuckled. "I'm headed to the R&C then? I read the student report. I'm sure he's crashed from the caffeine high by now."

"Mm." Shota agreed, stretching.

Hizashi got up and walked out of the bedroom, past where Eri was now asleep, and discreetly slipped through the door into the Discipline Room. Izuku was asleep, under a blanket on the hard floor.

"Ya did the crime, now ya do the time!" Yamada shouted, waking the boy.

Midoriya sat upright and yelped in surprise. "AH!"

Hizashi knew he shouldn't laugh, but he did, nonetheless. "Wake up. It's time to fix your wall."

"Fix my wall?" Izuku thought out loud, confused. THEN… he remembered. "Oh shit."

A bucket of soapy water and a toothbrush later- evening fell and Midoriya had a clean wall again. That was when he heard the sound of Bakugo coming down the hall.

"Oi! Deku! Open up!" Came a booming voice before a fist banged thrice on the door.

Izuku reluctantly opened the door and was met with Katsuki holding a notebook and a pen.

"Hi Kacchan-"

"Shut it. I missed what was covered in class today due to unforeseen circumstances." Bakugo said, flatly. "So just hurry up and give me your notes."

"You mean like how you couldn't hear?" Midoriya asked, bending his luck a little too much.

"You want a new face, Deku?!" Bakugo growled.

After a few moments of annoying banter, Izuku handed over a copy of his notes and allowed Katsuki to take some pictures of the pages.

"Thanks." Bakugo growled.

"Don't mention it." Midoriya exhaled, feeling lucky that he didn't anger his friend any more than usual. "Uh, Kacchan- why don't we study a bit? I can catch you up and—"

"No way." Bakugo scoffed. He jabbed his thumb into his chest. "I got places to be."

Izuku quirked an eyebrow. "Okay then?" and closed the door. Midoriya studied for an hour before getting up and stretching his stiff shoulders out, losing balance and almost tripping over the bucket. "Ah! I forgot to dump you out!" He said, talking to the basin.

The evening air was sweet, as Izuku tilted the bucket of now inky water over his balcony and twisted out a sodden rag, placing it neatly to dry, over the railing. He slid the balcony door closed. Beep. His watch let out a monotonous tone. 9pm. Hmm. It was almost time for "lights out".

Midoriya looked out and THAT was when he saw, under the lamppost, most of the BakuSquad were walking back from the 1-B dorms. Which was strange as the front doors were locked an hour ago…

Back on the first floor, Eri was happily changed into pajamas and twirling around while Shinso got the run-down on what to expect for the adoption process. He, too, was in pajamas, but being in high school and being poor usually meant that he would sleep in comfy clothes and just call them "pajamas."

Hitoshi cleared his throat. "So when we go to court on Saturday- do I have to do anything?" He asked, nervously.

Yamada was reading over the forms to answer the question. He read for a moment and then responded. "Basically, they may ask ya some questions. Answer them honestly."

Eri stopped spinning and lost her balance, bumping her forehead and her small horn on the corner of the television cabinet. She looked as though she were about to cry, when Aizawa scooped her up and pat her back.

"You're okay." He said, gently, rocking her steadily. He looked at his husband. "'Zashi, I gotta do 'lights out' check. Can you watch the kids?"

With outstretched arms, Yamada took the small child from his lover and opened the door to find Midoriya.

To be greeted by a student at this hour of night was surprising, but for it to be Midoriya- less so. The boy was the 'canary' in the coal mine that was U.A. 1-A dorms.

Something was off.

"WHO did what?" Aizawa asked, reflexively.

"Whaaaaat?" Midoriya asked, defensively, pretending to be confused. He feigned thinking and then snapped his fingers. "You know- I was just thinking… It's Friday…"

Shota locked the door. "We'll talk in the R&C."

Izuku nodded. "Mm."

Aizawa stared the boy down as Midoriya sat on the couch, uncomfortably. Izuku thought about how unpleasant it was to be in the room twice in one day.

"Spill it, Midoriya." The instructor demanded.

"A couple students from your class have been sneaking out and going across to 1-B. I don't know why… but I just want everyone to be safe, I guess."

Yamada popped his head in. "Um, Eraser—"

"What?" Aizawa asked, seeing six pairs of guilty eyes looking at him.

"YOU told!" Bakugo growled, throwing open the door.

Yamada grabbed the boy by the back of the shirt. "Calm down, Bakugo. Everyone else: in."

Hanta Sero, Eijirio Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido, Kyoka Jiro, and Katsuki Bakugo all walked in and took a seat. Aizawa handed out a report to everyone and asked what they were doing out of the dorms. Evidently, they had not assumed they would be caught, or they would have kept roughly the same story.

"I have better things to do than lecture you all so here's what's happening—" Shota began. (Even Hizashi looked nervous). Aizawa continued. "Asido, Jiro, and Bakugo—you're in house arrest- for two weeks- while Sero, Kirishima, and Kaminari clean this place SPOTLESS. Then you switch. I expect a well written essay of no less than six pages on the recklessness you displayed, and you will each receive twenty paddle swats. Now. Get out and give Mic your phones on your way out. You may ALL have your freedoms in a month's time."

Bakugo was seething. He stared Midoriya down. Izuku swallowed.

"Midoriya- stay here. Bakugo, you too."

"Gladly." Katsuki said, scowling so hard his jaw was numb. He planned to interrogate Deku himself.

Aizawa looked up to see that Mic had everyone's phone but one, and plucked the last phone out of Bakugo's hand, as the boy held it, annoyed, over his head.

"Thank you." Mic said, kindly, before he and Aizawa stepped aside to label and inventory the phones in the dorm building's "confiscated vault."

"Kacchan, I—"

"You knew that we were gambling!" He hissed.

"Gambling, was it?" Mic asked, shocked, and interrupting Midoriya's response.

"Ugh!" Bakugo stammered, annoyed. "Lip reading!"

Aizawa walked over to the conference table and ordered the boys to sit, while Shota, himself, stretched his palms across the table and leaned over the middle towards the boys.

"Look." He said, slamming his hands down once more. "You two WILL behave."

"With all due respect, Mr. Aizawa—" Katsuki began.

"NO." Shota cut off. "You shouldn't have been gambling. I will make the next month the worst month of your life if you test me, Bakugo." Aizawa sighed. "All Might will see that you behave yourself tomorrow. Mic and I have business to attend to and we do not have all the time in the world to be disciplining you and your little 'squad'- mark my words."

Katsuki scowled. "Well then can I get my spanking over with so I can actually SIT in class on Monday?"

"You and your friends will have a talking-to on Sunday. Until then, I suggest you study." Shota suggested.

Izuku raised his hand. "Mr. Aizawa, um, why am I here? I wasn't gambling. I don't think I am part of the investigation."

Aizawa nodded, folding his arms. "I expect you two to NOT fight- am I UNDERSTOOD?" The instructor asked. "I pulled you in here to make that promise."

"I promise." Midoriya nodded.

"Yeah." Bakugo muttered.

The boys were dismissed. Hizashi looked at his partner, as he walked into their suite. "We don't have time to run a full investigation on this new gambling thing by Monday." Mic said, looking worried.

"Well, we'll do our best, I suppose." Shota said.

With that, they ran over the paperwork one last time and prepared for a busy weekend…
