Meanwhile when Kakarot had die he found himself at the Check-In Station which was a gateway between the physical plane of existence and the Other World and he was greeted by Kami & King Yemma who judge the dead and sees if they deserve to go to Heaven or Hell and Kakarot would have been sent to Heaven because of all the good he has done in his life however Kami requested for Kakarot to receive training from King Kai who was a higher level of a god then him as unlike him King Kai was born as a god. Thankfully King Yemma allow it because of all the good Kakarot has done making worthy as well as knowing the coming danger that heading to Planet Earth however first Kakarot must run across Snake Way a long, narrow, winding path which leads from to King Kai's Planet and is the only method of getting to the latter.

As Kakarot ran across Snake Way he made good progress until eventually he got tired and decided to have quick nap however whiles asleep he accidentally roll off Snake Way and fell into Hell that below it, where he was greeted by two Ogres Goz & Mez who are the supervisors of that part of Hell which Kakarot landed in but before Goz & Mez could began challenging him to a wrestling match from Goz and a race from Mez they were stop by a man who was resting under a tree nearby until he heard a loud noise which was Kakarot hitting the ground and he would have ignore it expect he recognize Kakarot as this man was none other than Bardock the father of Raditz & Kakarot.

When Bardock had first saw Kakarot he had thought that he was just a low-class Saiyan like him as many other low-class Saiyans look alike however when he heard that his name was Kakarot, he knew that this man was the son who he and his wife Gina had sent away to Planet Earth many years ago to save him from Frieza. Kakarot was surprised seeing a man who look a lot like him and especially he was claiming to be his father however because of his battle against his older brother Raditz and finding out what his race were Kakarot believed that he was going to have to fight Bardock since he was in Hell and most likely going to loss as Kakarot could sense that Bardock was FAR stronger than him.

But before anything could happen Goz & Mez explained to Kakarot that while Bardock has done many bad things in his life however he has done a couple good things which was the reason why he still had his body as usually the only time when someone who was evil but still had their body was so that they could be punished for their sins however Bardock was a special case and so he was allow to keep his body and roam freely in Hell but only if he stays in good behavior and he has as for the past twenty years Bardock hasn't done anything bad and instead he has focus solely on training which is the why he is far beyond what he was back when he was alive.

Bardock began telling Kakarot everything like who he is and about his mother Gina, how Planet Vegeta wasn't destroyed by a meteor but instead the person that the Saiyan served known as Frieza and how he wasn't sent to Planet Earth to conquer it but survive as he & Gina were the ones who sent him there to save him and the only reason why Raditz had told him that he was sent to Earth to wipe out humanity was because usually whenever a Saiyan gets sent to a world that wasn't part of the Frieza Force is for that. Kakarot was happy to hear the true reason why he was sent to Earth and he told Bardock about how two other Saiyan's were coming to Earth and they were far stronger than Raditz meaning Kakarot needed to become stronger to face them and he was supposed to travel to King Kai's planet to receive training from however he ended up falling into Hell and now he was trap there as he can't fly back up to Snake Way.

However thankfully Goz & Mez told Kakarot since he wasn't supposed to be in Hell then they'll show him the way out but he'll end up back at the Check-In Station and would have to start Snake Way from the beginning, Kakarot then ask Bardock if he wanted to come along with him and maybe he can help him train but Bardock didn't know if he was allow however Goz & Mez told him that since he has been good behavior since coming to Hell they'll allow him to go along to which Bardock accepted. When they arrived at the Check-In Station King Yemma was annoyed with Kakarot for falling off Snake Way and just as Kakarot was about to set off on to Snake Way again he ask King Yemma could Bardock come along with him to everyone surprise he allowed because of Bardock's good behavior, the fact that he'll will make sure Kakarot wouldn't fall off Snake Way again, he could help train Kakarot for Saiyan's and to allow Kakarot to spend some time with his father however should King Kai tell Bardock he can't stay then he must return to Hell which Bardock agreed to.

With Bardock's help Kakarot made up the time he lost and finally reach the end of Snake Way and high above it was a small planet which was King Kai's world and once they fly up and reach the gravity was difficult for Kakarot expect for Bardock as it was just like back on Planet Vegeta and they were greeted by King Kai along with his monkey Bubbles and the levitating cricket sprite known as Gregory that acts as King Kai's butler.

After explaining everything to King Kai he happily agree to train Kakarot and allow Bardock to stay to on his planet and he plan on teaching him two of his best techniques the Kaioken and Spirit Bomb while also help him get far stronger with help from Bardock who did consider also teaching Kakarot how to use the Ikari State as during the time being dead he has fully mastered the form however that would extremely difficult since Kakarot would need to have full control over the Great Ape form first and that wouldn't be possible since Kakarot didn't have a Saiyan tail anymore so instead he'll just force on helping Kakarot get stronger and even teach him of his favorite techniques the 'Spirit Cannon' and perhaps some of his other techniques as well.
