Currently on Planet Earth as the battle the Z Fighters against the two Saiyan warriors Raditz began attacking Nappa who was shock by how much stronger that Raditz has gotten as he had never imagine Raditz would ever reach his level of power and it made the older Saiyan worry, while Vegeta was also surprise by Raditz's increase of power but he wasn't worry as he could tell that while Raditz had indeed became far stronger where he was now on the same level as Nappa he still wasn't nearly as strong as him. As Raditz & Nappa continue to fight for some time where they were evenly match the Z fighters wanted to join in and help Raditz to win but they knew the second they do that then Vegeta would also join in and he was far stronger than all of them combine and the only reason Vegeta hadn't attacked them yet was because he was just toying with them.

However thankfully for the Z Fighters Kakarot finally arrive on the battlefield and the Z Fighters and Raditz were shock by how much stronger Kakarot has gotten as he was nowhere near that level a year ago, Vegeta & Nappa were surprised that Kakarot was alive as they remembered Raditz telling them that Kakarot was killed so how was he alive?. Vegeta then remembered something he had heard of Piccolo's race the Namekians where they possessed something that can grant wishes but Vegeta had always thought it was nothing but just a legend however after seeing that Kakarot was alive again and there was a Namekian on this planet then that means there might be some truth about the legend.

Vegeta then used his scouter to scan Kakarot's power level and much to his and Nappa's shock it had gone from 400 to 15,000 in only a year and so Vegeta decided that while Nappa will handle Raditz he'll fight Kakarot who told everyone else to stay back as he was the only one who stood any chance against the Saiyan prince and so he & Vegeta left the area to begin their battle somewhere else.

(Kakarot's power level is much higher because of he was already slighter stronger after receiving a Zenkai Boost after the battle against Garlic Jr and then training under King Kai with a much stronger Bardock in the Other World)

Nappa seeing how outnumbered he was to the Z Fighters and knew that with Raditz being as strong as him there was a good chance that he might lose so Nappa quickly performed his Volcano Explosion attack which was the same attack that Nappa had used to destroy East City, Nappa rises his right hand with his index and middle fingers up, releasing a white Exploding Wave. Seeing what Nappa was about to do Raditz shouted for everyone to get away from him which everyone did and as Nappa released his explosion it was all a distraction as Nappa took out the Saibamen seeds again and this time he did planted all of the remaining seeds which immediately grew thirty Saibamen.

Nappa then ordered his small army of Saibamen to attack the Z Fighters while he'll handle Raditz and most of the Z Fighters were having a hard as the Saibamen power levels were close to their own and they outnumbered them greatly but thankfully for them they had Piccolo and Gohan & Goten who was able to defeat them however it still wasn't easily because of their numbers.

Nappa then began powering up and opens his mouth to charge a energy sphere which he then fired in the form of an energy wave at Raditz who change up and fired his Double Sunday attack at Nappa and the two began to have a beam struggle until Piccolo step in to help Raditz as he had just finish defeating the remaining Saibamen and he fired a Masenko which help Raditz's attack to overpower Nappa's and hit the large Saiyan.

Just as they thought they had won Nappa came back still alive but he was badly hurt and so they thought they'll be able to defeat him now especially in his condition but then Nappa noticed something in the sky and he began to laughing madly which confused the Z Fighters until they saw an Energy Sphere high in the sky and they wondered what it was but Raditz who immediately knew what it was and he warn the Z Fighters who immediately realize what it was thanks to Raditz who had told them during the year of training.

The Artificial Moon was a technique that was originally created by the elite class of Saiyan's by combining their ki with the planet's atmosphere, a sphere of condensed Blutz Waves is created to allow themselves to transform into a Great Ape to gain the ten times increase of power wherever they want without a moon and only the elite Saiyan's retains their rationality and composure when transformed unlike the low-class Saiyan's who go on a rampage while in the form. The Z Fighters had planned on stop the Saiyan's from performing the technique however with Vegeta going away somewhere else with Kakarot to fight and with Kakarot unaware of the technique meaning Vegeta must have performed it while Kakarot thinking that it was just a strange attack.

Both Nappa & Raditz began to transform giant, anthropomorphic, monkey-like creatures that had a tail, a more baboon-like head, razor-sharp teeth, and red eyes and thanks to the material that their Battle Armors were made out of their clothing remained intact and grew in size with them. While Nappa had control over his transformation state Raditz however was now just a raging beast but thankfully Gohan & Goten closed his eyes before he transformed into Great Apes as well but he couldn't fight while blind so he hung back out of the fight until he could reopen their eyes.

Nappa began attacking Raditz again but this time he was winning thanks to his control over the Great Ape Form, seeing that Raditz was now losing to Nappa, Piccolo then began powering up and went into his Giant Form which made him almost as big as Nappa and Raditz in their transform state however unlike their forms Piccolo's Power Level didn't increase but he was able to get hold of Nappa which allowed Raditz to beat on him since he was focus on Nappa then the other Z Fighters because of Nappa's attack on him a moment ago.

However eventually Nappa fired a mouth blast at Raditz hitting him in the chest which didn't kill him but just push him back and Nappa then manage to break free from Piccolo by ripping off both of his arms which he can regenerate but it left him defenseless long enough to allow Nappa to turn around and impaled Piccolo in the chest killing him as well as Kami which would make the Earth's Dragon Balls unusable even after a year to recharge. Nappa fired another mouth blast at the Z Fighters who all manage to dodge it except for Chiaotzu killing him and even if the Z Fighters were able to use the Dragon Balls they couldn't bring him back since he had already died years ago fighting against Demon King Piccolo.

Krillin manage to get behind Nappa and change up his newest attack the 'Destructo Disk' which he used to cut off Nappa's tail turning him back and because of all the injuries he received from Raditz he was greatly weakened allowing Tien to fire his strongest attack the Tri-Beam which killed the older Saiyan and avenged his closest friend. While they didn't have to worry about Nappa anymore they still had Raditz to deal with and Krillin couldn't fired another Destructo Disk to cut off his tail because he was moving around to much and Krillin would end up just missing him, however Yamcha figured that since the Saiyan's transformed because of the Artificial Moon then they could destroy which couldn't do with Nappa around as he would have prevented them and so Yamcha change up a Kamehameha wave and fired it destroying the Artificial Moon which cause Raditz to turn back to normal.

As Raditz turn back to normal he and the remaining Z fighters travel to where Kakarot & Vegeta were having their battle where they saw both Kakarot & Vegeta were hurt and Raditz guess that Kakarot has gotten strong enough to hold his own against Vegeta which made Raditz proud of his younger brother but he also annoyed that it wasn't him. During his fight against Nappa he and the Z fighters did sense a large amount of energy coming from here but they were to focus on their own battle and Kakarot must have pushed Vegeta to use the Power Ball Technique to transform into a Great Ape.

While they are tried and injured Raditz, Tien, Yamcha, Gohan & Goten changed at Vegeta who manage to put up a good defense against the five of them meanwhile as that was going on Krillin went over to Kakarot who transferred all the energy from the Earth that he had gathered to form the newest attack that King Kai had taught him the Spirit Bomb and Krillin threw the ball of energy at Vegeta who manage to dodge it just in time. As the Spirit Bomb missed it was headed for Gohan & Goten so Kakarot got in contact with his son's through telepathy and told Gohan & Goten to use their own energies to push the Spirit Bomb back and Gohan & Goten not wanting to let his father down did it and he manage to send the Spirit Bomb back at Vegeta who wasn't expecting it and was hit by it.

However despite being hit by the Spirit Bomb Vegeta was still alive but he was now badly injured so he use a device to call his Space Pod to him to leave the planet however Tien, Yamcha and Krillin didn't want him to just leave after everything that has happened but Kakarot told them to let Vegeta live as he wanted to fight him again on his own and win. Raditz agree with his younger brother much to everyone else's surprise as they know how much Raditz hated Vegeta and Nappa so they were confused as to why was he letting Vegeta go and it was because just like Kakarot as he also wanted to fight Vegeta on his own and win.

So when Vegeta's Space Pod arrived Raditz grab Vegeta by his hair and drag him to the Space Pod and threw him into it and said 'Now who looks pitiful' with a smile as this was payback for Vegeta casting him away a year ago and as Vegeta left the planet that was when Bulma and the others arrived to pick up the injured Z Fighters and get them healed. Thankfully most of them weren't seriously injured expect for Kakarot so he used a Senzu Bean which he got from Korin before arriving at the battle and got a Zenkai Boost from it which increased his power level to 20,000 and they then try to come up with a plan to revive Chiaotzu, Kami, Piccolo and everyone who was killed in East City by Nappa.
