"What a day," Joker said tiredly. "Another mission completed for the Phantom Thieves."
The dark-haired young man wearily trudged up the staircase of Cafe LeBlanc. He rubbed his eyes behind his glasses. He was feeling very tired after a busy day of leading the Phantom Thieves through a palace. Navigating their way to the treasure while fighting shadows had exhausted him. He was eager to retire to his little apartment and take things easy that evening.
Reaching the top of the staircase, Joker pushed open the door to enter his room - before blinking and frowning.
He had spotted something laying on the pillow of his bed.
"What's that?"
Crossing the room swiftly, Joker headed up to his bed to stare down at what had been left there. His eyes widened behind the lenses of his glasses as he instantly realised what it was.
It was a calling card.
"For real?"
As he let out the two words which the Phantom Thieves would often exclaim when surprised, Joker picked up the object from the pillow. He held it before him, staring at it with disbelief through his glasses. It was impossible to mistake what this piece of card was with its red and black markings. This was the vert sort of thing which his little underground squad left for people whose hearts they intended to change.
Someone had been inside Joker's room, leaving this calling card behind for him to find.
"What's the big idea? Does someone in the Phantom Thieves wanna change my heart?"
The teenager scratched his head. He always got along with the rest of the Phantom Thieves, proving himself to be a respectful leader to them all. None of them had ever raised any concern with his running of the group - or even over his treatment towards them. Why would one of his allies leave a calling card for him?
Joker couldn't wait another second to find out. He flipped the calling card around in his hands. His eyes ran over the message which had been written on the back - before narrowing upon seeing what it said:
You must be tired, Joker! Why don't you go to sleep?
Joker lowered the calling card. An unamused glare crossed his face. There was no doubt this calling card had come from one of his fellow members of the phantom thieves - and the message they'd written on it to him had made it obvious which one had sent it.
"Morganaaaaaaaaaaa...!"
THE END
