Chapter 2 -

Lulu Spencer hasn't been herself in a long while…she tried to throw herself into her newfound relationship with Dante but he just wasn't the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Dante was a good man and she couldn't find exact faults in him except for one thing, he wasn't Johnny. Lulu watched Olivia and Johnny together and wondered if Johnny ever felt this way, looking at them together she couldn't tell.

"Do you hear my Australian ass talking to you, sis?" A voice called her out of her thoughts, Ethan looked at her a bit perplexed.

"How long have you been standing there?" Lulu winced, embarrassed that she hadn't heard a word her brother had said.

"Long enough to know something is bothering my sister." Ethan gave her a look that said he wasn't leaving until she opened up.

"I'm fine. I'm always…fine." Lulu kept her voice carefully even.

"I can tell when you're lying, which you're horrible at just so you know. You can't bluff a bluffer." Ethan clearly wasn't being bought off by her "I'm fine."

"I'm not happy. I doubt I ever will be Again. That's all." Lulu shrugged.

"Why? Did Dante do something?" It was like pulling teeth trying to get anything out of her, it used to not be like this.

"No, Dante's been the perfect gentleman. That's the problem. Dante's not a rough around the edges mobster with a heart of gold." Lulu says, flat out.

"Oh…I see. I…didn't realize how deeply you actually felt about Zacchara. I guess that's why you've been a ghost." Ethan's lips pressed into a thin line, finally understanding.

"I think I'll be in love with him until the day I die, it's not fair to Dante. Maybe I should just be single until I can at least manage it better." Lulu frowned, knowing that eventually her relationship with Dante would fail.

"I'm sorry, I wish there was something I could say. I'm honestly drawing a blank." Ethan mutters, truly at a loss.

"At least you're honest, what more could I ask for?" Lulu gave her brother a smile.

"For your brother not to be a blubbering idiot?" Ethan suggested.

"Where's the fun in that?" Lulu chuckled.

"I may not be able to fix your problem but, I do have an extra ticket to the movies. Wanna go?" Ethan smirked.

"I would be an idiot to refuse, let's go." Lulu grabbed her purse off the table, maybe she was still sad about her love life but…Ethan was really making an effort here. Maybe she had a lot to sort through but, at least she had a chill brother to do stuff with.
