Chapter 29 destroy the ice worm, all out war, those who carry hatred and desires revenge
In a secret room Walter is seen talking to Michigan on the other line and to Kal'tsit as they talk about the operation to deal with the Ice worm
Michigan: we got ourselves a deal Walter, you as well Ms. Kal'tsit.
Walter: Michigan. So the other factions has met us half-way.
Michigan: I gave them the heavy warship fleet. In exchange, Balam's in charge of putting down the beast. They also offered some of there top aces hehehe. Guess they don't trust us.
Walter: it's better then nothing. I'll provide what support I can, too.
Kal'tsit: so will we.
Michigan: yeah, your mad scientists… RaD or whatever. And that hound of yours…
Walter: … Michigan. Don't underestimate 621 that hound always delivers.
Kal'tsit: the same goes for our operators and our pilots as well.
Michigan: hehehe you don't have to tell me twice your soldiers already proven they can handle whatever might happen on the battlefield. Well time to get to work I'll see you two in the briefing later.
Then the three groups hung up to gather up there pilots in order to get ready for the big mission that they will be taking part up soon.
The scene changes to 621 whose resting after doing the two missions he was on a few days ago he is then called by Walter.
Walter: what kept you 621? You're a famous mercenary now. Time to act like one.
621: …
Walter: … this next mission's all or nothing. Make sure you attend the briefing.
621: … understood…
621 goes to the briefing so he can get ready for the mission he will be taking part in he also sees the other factions are here as well among them he can sense someone now officially has a grudge against him.
Walter: listen up, 621. This will be a joint operation led by Balam and Arqubus along with the other factions. The briefing's about to start. I want you to attend.
Then the briefing began with everyone listening in on the operation.
Snail: First, some background before we go into detail.
Snail: the ceasefire for all factions is now in effect, and we will be carrying out coordinated attacks against the PCA.
The screen shows the where the PCA's forces are located at.
Snail: the targets are the enemy-occupied bases, their heavy warship fleet, and the recently activated…
Then Michigan spoke up so they all can get this introduction over with most of the people secretly giggled at this but Snail mumbles in anger towards Michigan for ruining his speech.
Michigan: I'll cut to the chase! This is an all-out war against the PCA in theaters all across Rubicon. And y'all got the short end of the stack!
The screen then shows the Ice worm that those who will be taking part will be facing against many didn't show it but they are hoping that they do not get picked in dealing with that monster.
Michigan: you're here to take on the worse of our dirty work hunting: the beast of the Ice field!
Iguazu: sure thing chief. Tell you what, I'll watch and let you know how badly that goes for all us.
Yang: I don't care what happens to you mercenaries at least the whole universe will be safer with most of you gone.
Michigan: G5! you just volunteered yourself for the front line and Ms Yang you just signed up to be bait.
Yang: WHAT!?
Iguazu: well at least someone is going to die and it ain't me.
Then Carla spoke and an image of the Ice worm shown on the screen.
Carla: moving on, let's talk about how we're going to neutralize the Ice Worm's Coral Shield. You'll all be dealing with a layered barrier, made up of a primary and secondary Shield. Also I know you I.S pilots and huntsmen tried to fight the thing only to lose some of your forces don't ask how I know I got my sources.
I.S pilots and huntsmen: …
Snail: Arqubus will provide the means to break the first layer: the state of the art stun needle launcher. Aim for the face, and it will deliver results… I assure you.
Michigan: what about the second layer?
Carla: RaD's cooked up just the thing – a neat little toy we call the overed rail cannon. If we divert the spaceport's standby power to the ORC it should hit hard enough…assuming we land the shot.
No one didn't notice it but Tabane was secretly fuming in pure rage that someone like Carla developed something that can break the Shield before she did. Soon Rusty spoke up.
Rusty: you can leave that to me I know a thing or two about sharp shooting.
Snail: I'll oversee operations on the ground. A ragtag crew like this needs leadership.
Carla: we could use some more suppressive fire. I'll send chatty and Primrose.
Kal'tsit: I'll send Strayed, Texas and Exusiai to help in this mission.
Michigan: I'll send Jaune to help the group survive as a backup commander if the situation gets worse.
Rusty: that just leaves the question of who'll be taking charge of the stun needle launcher…
621: … I think … I know where this is … heading…
Michigan: I know just the volunteer to go and poke that beast with a stick. G13 you got all that good time for another field trip! Oh and Ichika, Houki and Ruby you three are taking part in this mission along side them.
The three didn't like this as they are being sent to face that monster… again.
Once the briefing was over Yang called 621.
Yang: hi your name is Raven right?
621: … yes…
Yang: did you meet a person named Raven Branwen?
621: …yes…
Yang: … did you kill her.
621: …..yes…
Yang: … you better hope that Worm monster kills you if not…. I'm coming for you myself.
The call ends and 621 equips the stun needle launcher to the A.C then he gets ready for the battle that will determine whether or not they destroy the ice worm either way this is it.
Walter: it's not everyday you see competing forces worked together like this… now or never 621.

The scene changes to the battlefield as 621's A.C is carried in a helicopter carrier.
Walter: it's time 621. You ready?
621: … I am…
Ayre: this mission depends upon you, Raven. Let's go. I'll be here to support.
621: … thank you… Ayre…
Then the A.C is dropped into the Battlefield once it landed he is joined by the others then they all charged at the Ice worm 621's A.C head visor then covers the face as they all enter into battle no one said anything but secretly admit that's kinda cool and Tabane screams in secret that RaD made something better then her.
Walter: commence mission. Michigan will take command.
Michigan: commencing operation with combined forces as per the Factions agreement. Move out maggots it's time to die!
Everyone heads into battle so they can get the beasts attention and all of them are already not getting but they know they have to get this mission done 621 waits for the right moment to shoot once he saw the Ice worm shoots at its face this immediately caused the first layer to be disabled.
Ayre: Primary shield down!
Rusty: Shield loss confirmed. Initializing ORC firing sequence.
Once they heard Rusty say that everyone saw a light far out in the distance as it gets bigger and bigger.
Rusty: connecting EML modules. Opening energy turbines. Output 80%. Sightings correction A-OK. 90… 95…
Then the Ice worm emerged from the ground and then…
Rusty : I won't miss.
*BANG!*
The shot hits the worm and destroys its second shield everyone is shocked and surprised by this.
Ayre: secondary Shield is down!
Michigan: G13! The heads open for a direct hit everyone attack!
Everyone attacks the head of the Ice worm and damages it, the shield comes back online then Worm goes dives back underground.
Ruby: that was … AWSOME!
Yang: I can't believe that guy actually hit that thing...
Houki: I so didn't see that coming…
Ichika: why didn't we have a weapon like that with us when we first fought this thing…
Iguazu: that freak actually did it…
Snail: did what the bear minimum this is just the first hurdle.
Exusiai: I wonder if I can do that?
Texas: you may need more practice if you even think about doing that.
Strayed: that depends on if we survive this.
Jaune: it's not over everyone be on guard.
Meanwhile with the other forces they are all seen attacking the PCA fleet and their army.
Lappland: hahaha! Come show me a good time!
W: you go boom! And you go boom!
Weiss: those two are complete monsters.
Blake: and are insane.
Luke: everyone focus on the mission!
Stella: already focused.
Nana: whatever.
Charlotte: that voice again.
Rin: why does that guy sound so familiar.
Cecilia: just who is he.
Laura: hey stay focused!
Kanzashi: we know.
Tatenashi: going back to the mission.
The scene changes back to the battle against the Ice worm as it sends out drones in order to defend its self the others started attacking them so that 621 can have a shot at the worm again once it was in his sites 621 shoots it again bringing down the first shield.
Ayre: primary shield is disabled.
Rusty: shield loss confirmed. Preparing to fire Rail cannon. Energy turbine output at 80%.
The cannon started building up Energy for it's next shoot as it gets ready to fire once again.
Rusty: output 96%... 100%.
The worm remerges from the ground and then…
Rusty: watch out for friendly fire!
*BANG!*
The shot hits the worm and its second shield is destroyed.
Ayre: secondary Shield is down.
Rusty: it's all yours now, buddy.
621: … got it…
Everyone attacks the head of the worm again and damages it once again.
But then the worm does something no one expected to happen.
Walter: wait somethings wrong.
Jaune: hmmm? What's it- !? Everyone getaway from it now!
Everyone: !?
Walter: he's right fall back 621!
Everyone tries to get far away from the worm as it releases a huge wave of Coral energy from it's body most escaped it's attack but Snail, Ichika, Houki and Yang along with Exusiai wasn't so lucky as they took the full force of the attack that took them out of the fight.
Snail: we've underestimated this beast my compromised… withdrawing!
Ichika: no! We've been hit we can't fight anymore!
Houki: dammit…
Exusiai: sorry Texas, Strayed, looks like you two are on your own.
Yang: dammit! I can't be out now!
Jaune: Iguazu get those two I.S pilots out of here along with the two!
Iguazu: fine by me at least I don't need to be here any longer.
Michigan: look at the bright side Iguazu at least you didn't bite the dust first.
As this happens the Coral inside the Ice worm starts going crazy and out of control as it leaks out of the face of the worm as it lets out a lot of energy.
Ayre: the Coral – it's out of control!
Rusty: looks like things just took a nasty turn… I'll set ORC to maximum output. We can't afford to lose control of the situation. This next shot will be my last.
Jaune: everyone try to stay alive as much as possible!
Ruby: oh oum oh oum oh oum!
Texas: this is far crazier then I thought!
Strayed: just stay alive everyone!
621: …
Primrose: come on Chattey we can't go down yet!
Chattey: don't be too reckless Primrose.
621: … oh man …
Everyone continues to avoid the Ice worm and being bait for it so 621 can shot at again once it was in his sites he shoots it but the first shield held on.
Ayre: … were not through yet its primary shield is getting stronger!
621: then… I'll have to… Hit it again…
Rusty: stay cool, Buddy.
The Ice worm continues to attack them, sadly Chattey gets hit and can no longer help anymore.
Primrose: Chattey!
Chattey: … I'm out, tourist, Primrose. You two are on your own now. Withdrawing.
Primrose: tourist. Make that shot count!
621: …roger…
Everyone continues to avoid the Ice worm as much as possible until finally 621 shoots its face again this time the shield was gone this time.
Ayre: primary shield is down!
Rusty: good work, buddy. All EML modules connected. Energy turbines at full capacity. Output at 80, 90…
Everyone sees the light at the far distance as it gets bigger and bigger by the minute.
Rusty: all emergency valves closed. Disabling limiter…! 100, 110… 115… Rail cannon at Maximum output.
As the light gets bigger the worm remerges once again from the ground and then…
Rusty: all or nothing!
*BANG!*
The worm goes down along with it's shield finally destroyed.
Ayre: primary shield destroyed!
Rusty: it's all you buddy!
Jaune: now's our chance everyone attack!
Everyone attacks the Ice worm with everything they got and finally damaging it to the point it can no longer fight anymore as energy builds inside it.
Rusty: is it over?!
621: … uh oh…
Texas: oh dear god!
Strayed: oh man.
Ruby: dear Oum!
Primrose: oh crap!
Jaune : oh dear lord!
Michigan: everybody get clear it's gonna blow!
And then the Worm exploded.
*KABOOM!*
Iguazu: you kidding me? The freelancer really did it…
Yang: got to be kidding joking how in the world could he…
(End of music)
Then the Ice worm falls to the ground destroyed completely.
Walter: … it's finally over. The blast will contaminate the area. Get out of –
Then Coral particles started leaving the destroyed Ice worm's body.
Ayre: Coral voices… lost again… Raven. There's… something I have to tell you.
621: …
Ayre: the Coral. It's my family. My brothers and sisters. I am but a single wave… born from the Coral tide Rubiconian without a body. No one even knew I was there… for such a long time. Raven your thee only one who-
Then Walter calls in.
Walter: 621 I'm detecting unidentified crafts heading in your direction.
621: …!?
Jaune: what?
Strayed: whose attacking us now?
(Wingman peace keepers 2)
Crimson 1: unsurprising they will always commit crimes for there own gain.
Walter: 621 it's Crimson squadron. They're in the area and it's too late to try and get you out of there you have no choice but to fight them.
Crimson 1: Crimson squadron engage it's time to end this game.
The groups then started fighting against Crimson squadron who has arrived after they have defeated the Ice worm.
Crimson 2: it's that huntress no it's not just any huntress it's the leader of team RWBY!
Crimson 3: the leader of team RWBY? the same ones that destroyed atlas!?
Crimson 4: let's get her! Both her and her team will pay for what they did!
Crimson 5: no mercy!
Crimson 1: remember we're also after the mercenaries don't forget that.
Crimson squadron: roger!
The battle soon took a turn for the worse as most of Crimson squadron attacks Ruby in the name of revenge. While the others attacks the others, Crimson 1 is now seen fighting 621 as he tries to eliminate him.
Crimson 1: you've taken too much you'll lose everything in turn! It's not like you will live to see it mercenary!
Ruby is seen having trouble against the other members of Crimson as they keep attacking her with no mercy.
Crimson 2: you and your team mates are going to pay for everything you've done!
Crimson 3: do you really think we forgot! Many in atlas died because of you!
Crimson 4: all of Remnant may view you as heroes but all we see are monsters!
Ruby: gaah! We did what we thought was right…
Crimson 2: tell that to the dead!
As Ruby was having trouble Jaune comes in and saves her the others also fight off the other members of Crimson.
Ruby: Jaune?
Jaune: now is not the time to be playing around take this seriously or else they will kill you Ruby!
Crimson 6: your next huntsmen your all died!
The battle soon started going from bad to worse. As Crimson squadron tries to kill them at the same time Sol squadron is seen in the other area where the PCA fleet was attacked as they try to save the survivors. Mihaly is now doing battle against the Factions forces but his goal is not to defeat them but to bid time for the survivors to escape.
Luke: this guy is good no wonder he is the best or Galactic federation.
Mihaly: hmmm that must be all of them it's time to retreat.
Weiss: wait you!
Blake: tell your men on Crimson squadron to stop!
Mihaly: sorry but I can't they are an independent squadron.
Weiss: why are they attacking us what sort of grudge do they have against us and the huntsmen.
Mihaly: … you really don't know do you the answer was in front of you the whole time.
Blake: what are you saying?
Mihaly: I'm saying all the members of Crimson are people from the Atlas military and people who wrong by the huntsmen…. All of them want revenge.
Weiss: !?
Blake: what…
Mihaly: that is all I can say to you but I can assume no told you of the incidents that involved what the huntsmen has done.
Weiss: …
Blake: …
Mihaly: there's nothing more to say. Farwell.
Mihaly leaves the area along with the survivors the scene changes back to the battle against Crimson squadron.
Crimson 1: at the end of the day you're all just a criminals looking for your next hand out it's not like you will live to see it mercenary!

Crimson: to think how many people did you kill?
Then Primrose comes in and helps 621 against Crimson 1.
Primrose: man this guy is really annoying he must really hate you and many others.
Then Jaune screams out already having enough of Crimson 1.
Jaune: dear lord just shut up!
Crimson 1: how dare!
Jaune: shut up nobody ask! You think we ask to kill those people you we care about killing those people!
Crimson 1: your wild dogs of course!
Jaune: shut up, just shut up, fight us don't talk I don't care shut up!
Everyone didn't say anything things get worse and worse as Crimson squadron are showing no signs of ever retreating as they desire too much then to get revenge. But sadly 621 takes down Crimson 1 as he goes down he starts laughing like a mad man and this disturbed everyone.
Crimson 1: eheheh ahahahah! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA-

Crimson 1 was taken down and everyone thought the others would stop fighting but sadly they were wrong the rest continued to fight. This forced the group to put them down… for good.
Jaune: … dammit…
Primrose: this fighting is completely pointless…
Texas: …
Strayed: …
Ruby: this is wrong… this is all wrong!

Ayre: … Raven…
After a hard battle all of Crimson squadron were eliminated and the mission was complete but this was a sorrowful victory.
Walter: good job 621… it's time to return to base…
Ruby: Jaune …
Jaune soon left the battlefiel and so did the rest of the other factions with there victory over the PCA and has been pushed off of Rubicon. But the fight for the Coral rages on.

That's another Chapter done everyone works together to fight the Ice worm. Then they are confronted by Crimson squadron, Mihaly revealed that Crimson squadron are people who has suffered because of the huntsmen, soon the Squadron meet there end. Now on to the reviews.
