Fairy Phoenix Chapter 7

Arcadias POV

As I fly I try to ignore the pain in my busted wing when I spot a commotion at an upcoming train station so I drop down and decide to investigate.

I land in front of a soldier.

"What's going on here?" I ask.

"Nothing you need be concerned about moving along" The soldier says.

"Arcadia?" I hear a female voice ask.

I look up and I see an old friend.

"Kayla?" I ask, surprised.

"Let her through as a soldier" Kayla orders.

The soldier steps aside and I walk up to Kayla.

Kayla is a ginger woman about 45 years old. I met her just after she joined Fiore's military. She and I were assigned to scout a dark guild just before a combined military/ Wizard attack. I haven't seen her in 23 years.

"Good to see you, Cadi" Kayla says while smiling.

"You know i hate that nickname" I tell her, "What's the situation?"

"A dark guild seized a train here and killed the conductor, they then kicked everyone off the train and proceeded down the track. We're still trying to figure out which dark guild it was" Kayla Replies.

"Probably the Eisenwald guild, me and several others have been chasing them." I told her.

"Well I sent some of my men to intercept them when they reach Oshibana station." Kayla states.

I look at her alarmed.

"You have to try and stop them!" I yells

"What? How come?" Kayla asks, confused.

"I have reason to believe that Eisenwald is in possession of the Lullaby flute, anyone who hears it falls under a death curse!" I told her.

All the color drains from her face.

"Well what are you still doing here!? Get after them I'll try and contact my men!" Kayla yells at me.

I rush out of the station and take off again and I concentrate.

"Lucy... can you hear me?" I ask.

I wait for a minute before continuing.

"Lucy, if you can hear me grab my key you'll be able to communicate with me" I say.

After a minute I hear Lucy's voice.

"Arcadia what is this?" Lucy asks.

"A special connection that i can only keep up for a minute or two i need you to tell the others that Eisenwald hijacked the train and is gonna be stopping at Oshibana station" I told her.

"How do you know they're gonna stop there?" Lucy asks.

"Ran into a friend of mine in the army and she sent her men to set a trap." I Say.

"If Eisenwald uses Lullaby on them..." Lucy starts to say.

"I'm trying to reach them now tell Erza to step on it"

"Alright... Arcadia... be safe" Lucy says her voice starting to fade from my mind.

"I'll wait for you guys at Oshibana station" I say before the connection dissipates.

I keep up my best speed until the pain in my broken wing becomes too much and I fall to the ground rolling until I come to a stop. At which point I stand up and see I'm just outside Oshibana.

"Ow goddamn it" I say as I stand up, "My wings may not work right now but my legs do." I say as I start sprinting.

When I'm halfway to the station I hear an explosion and I look up at the station in the distance and see smoke coming out of it.

"Oh no" I say when I see the smoke and continue to rush towards the station.

I arrive at the station just as Lucy and the others do.

"Holy shit Arcadia what happened you look like shit" Gray says looking me up and down.

"Fuck you i fell out of the sky dickhead" I reply.

"What's the situation?" Erza asks me.

"I don't know i just got here as well" I reply to Erza.

Lucy helps a disabled Natsu out of the vehicle as Erza walks up to a guard.

"What's going on inside?" She asks the man

"Who Are you?" He asks.

Erza prepares to beat the man for information but I stopped her.

"Commander Frost sent us to reinforce her men" i tell him

"Oh so you're with the others, they went inside a few minutes before the explosion but we haven't heard from them since '' The Officer says.

"Understand, we're going in, make sure no one else follows us in and if any one but the five of us come out... run" I say starting to push through the crowd.

The four of us (Lucy is carrying Natsu) rush in and it's not long until we find the remains of the platoon of soldiers that were sent here.

"They wiped them all out!?" Lucy says shocked.

I kneel down near one of the bodies.

"A platoon of Normal soldiers can't stand up to a dark guild like Eisenwald '' Erza says.

"They'll pay for this." I say standing up, "Today is the end of Eisenwald"

"Then let's go kick their asses!" Erza says.

We then rush to the main platform where we see the dark guilders of Eisenwald.

"Well well well its the Fairy Tail flies." a voice says.

We all look at the source of the voice and its tattooed man sitting on one of the trains.

"Erigor the reaper i was hoping to run into you" I say.

"Well we've been waiting for you flies to show up" Erigor says.

"So you're Erigor," Erza asks.

"Hold on, that's the chick from the bar" one of the dark guilders says.

"What are you guys after, what happens to you next depends on your answer." Erza says.

"We just want to play, its not like we're getting any work so we decided to have some fun" Erigor says jokingly.

AS the rest of his guild burst out into laughter ERigor flies up into the air.

"WOAH he's flying!" Lucy yells.

"It's wind magic!" Happy states.

Erigor gives an evil smirk.

"You flies still haven't figured it out yet? There's something special about this station." He says flying up.

I look around the station trying to see what's so different about this station, besides its size.

Wait the size... unlike smaller stations you can't just yell across it... THE SPEAKERS

"The speaker system!" I yell.

Erigor looks mildly surprised.

"Well would you look at that the only fly that actually has wings got it right" I wonder if she's the only one that has a brain too?" Erigor mockingly says.

"You plan on broadcasting Lullaby over the speaker systems?!" Erza asks.

Erigor laughs.

"You got it! Think about it, there's several hundred... no maybe over a thousand people gathered around the station as we speak, i believe they all need to hear Lullaby's beautiful tune." Erigor says.

"You're talking about indiscriminate mass murder!" I yell.

'This is a purge!... of people who don't realize the rights of others that have been stolen away! They tout their own rights and only work to preserve their own petty way of life, I'M purging the world of fools!" Erigor says insanely, "It's a sin to live without knowing how unfair this world really is. And Erigor the Reaper will mete out punishment!"

"Not if we have anything to say about it!' I yell at Erigor, my swords appearing in my hands.

'Killing people won't help you get your jobs back!" Lucy yells.

"You think we're here for our right to work... no we're here for our right to rule! When we take charge we can wash away the pat and take control of the future!" Erigor says.

"Too bad you flies won't be alive to see the glory of the dark age!" A dark guilder yells slamming his hand onto the ground, a shadow shooting towards Lucy and a large shadow hand emerges from the ground.

"Lucy watch out!" I yell.

"It is you!" Natsu yells using his flames to dispel the shadow, "Too bad for you we're fighting on solid ground now!"

"Prepare to lose to Fairy Tails' strongest team!" Lucy says.

"I'll let everyone else deal with you, I'll go play the flute" Erigor says, crashing through a window.

"He's going into another block!" Gray yells.

"Gray, Natsu go after him" Erza says.

Natsu and Gray look at Erza confused.

"If you two combine your powers Erigor doesn't stand a chance." Erza clarifies, "Now get going!"

"Yes ma'am" They both say running off.

"Let's do this Arcadia I'll open your gate" Lucy says.

"No Lucy you go find and destroy the broadcast controls for the station" I tell her.

"Huh?" Lucy says confused.

"Erza and I have got these assholes, you need to destroy the controls in case Natsu and Gray fail" I say.
