Chapter Three: The Transport (Part Two)
(With Ichigo and the Hollow)
The moment Ichigo asked the demonic Hollow with the black mask if it was ready to fight him, he knew he made a grave mistake. For one thing, the creature took highly offensive to that question, given the rising Spiritual Pressure it's releasing, and its face gained an enrage expression, making him tense as he prepared himself for any sudden attack.
"Did you just say I'm ready to fight you, Soul Reaper?" The Hollow asked angrily, eerily reminding Ichigo of the deceased Fourth Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer, who asked emotionlessly instead of angrily if he became more human than a Hollow. "I believed I said a moment ago I had been ready for the fight I always dreamed of upon meeting you, and you are now asking me that question? I am…GREATLY INSULTED! HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT?! PREPARE TO DIE, SOUL REAPER!"
At the end of the Hollow's angry rant, it immediately vanished from its spot and appeared in front of the still tense prepared Ichigo, its katana sword swinging towards his neck. But he swiftly ducked under the attack before the blade made direct contact with skin and retaliate from his crouch position by thrusting his own sword forward in a forceful manner, making the creature raise its round shield to defend itself, though the forceful blow sent it skidding backwards.
'I better take this in the sky before the fight gets worse,' Ichigo thought, standing upwards from his crouch position, while never once took his eyes off the Hollow who recovered its balance. 'That way, no collateral damage can happen in the town.'
"Hey, Hollow!" Ichigo called out, getting the Hollow's attention. "Let's take our fight to the skies so that no collateral damage can happen, and we won't have to hide behind cars."
"Very well," The Hollow said, nodding its head after a moment of thinking. "Hiding behind these 'cars' you say will only be a nuisance to our epic fight. Try not to lag behind."
The two different beings, a Soul Reaper and a Hollow, Flash Stepped out of the parking lot building and into the skies where they stood a bit distance away from each other. They also glared fiercely at each other before disappearing in a blur – a black blur for Ichigo since he's wearing black clothes and a mixture of dark red, black and white blur for the Hollow since it had a red and black body with white armor – and clashed their blades in the middle of the sky.
And that was when the epic battle between Ichigo and the black mask Hollow began.
The two different beings would Flash Step around in blurs as they tried to get an advantage over one another, their blades clashing against each other so hard it had not only created sparks, but small shockwaves. One would be on the offensive while the other would on the defensive and the actions become reverse every time a few clashes between swords happens.
As the epic battle continues to take place in the skies with the two different beings still clashing their blades against each other and Flash Step around in blurs, Ichigo noticed the Hollow seemed to favor great speed and agility over brute force and strength. He himself was currently using brute force and strength since he's in his Shikai, but he did use great speed as well because there had been a few times he almost got cut or stabbed by the long katana.
It's all thanks to Yoruichi's training that Ichigo was able to improve Flash Step and dodged the attacks with ease, despite almost getting cut or stabbed.
Deciding to take the battle up a notch since clashing blades is starting to get boring, Ichigo pushed the black mask Hollow away from him with a powerful swipe after blocking another attack and began channeling his Spirit Energy onto his huge sword, which caused a light blue energy with particles to appear. Seeing this made the Hollow tensed as it immediately recognized what he's about to do the next moment before raising its shield up to defend against the attack.
Once channeled enough Spirit Energy onto his sword, Ichigo held his blade to the side before swinging it to released his signature move he learned after getting his own Spirit Energy. "Getsuga Tensho!"
The light blue wave of powerful energy headed towards the black mask Hollow who still had its shield raised up to block the attack. It could've just Flash Step away to avoid the said attack, but it wanted to see if the shield can hold and get a feel of the power at the same time. That way, it can figure out how to defeat Ichigo, despite already knowing all his abilities, thanks to Aizen.
As every Hollow would say back in Hueco Mundo, it's like killing two innocent souls with one claw sweep, sword strike or a single mouth bite, depending on what type of Hollow it is.
The light blue wave of energy finally impacted against the black mask Hollow's shield, and it grit its mask teeth as the powerful attack sent it skidding backwards, which forced the creature to dug its feet into the air to try to slow down. This action proved to be a great, but the attack still made it skid backwards, making it both annoyed and fearful.
'How is it possible this attack is still pushing me backwards?!' The Hollow thought, still digging its feet into the air as it tries to slow down from the powerful attack. 'I knew it was powerful, considering Kurosaki has been using it ever since he learned it, but it shouldn't be this powerful at all! Has he been training lately after getting his powers back or somehow got a power boost?!'
'Wow, I'm surprised how easy this fight is, despite the fact we just started a couple moments ago,' Ichigo thought with slightly wide eyes as he stared ahead where the Hollow is getting pushed back from his signature move. He couldn't believe how easy this fight is, even though it had started a couple moments ago. 'Then again, we were only testing each other instead of fighting for real, but I have a feeling that's going to change real quick once the Hollow comes back.'
It wasn't until the Hollow who finally got tired from being pushed backwards decided to just Flash Step away from the attack and appeared in the previous spot it stood. It had a look of great annoyance and anger on its face, something Ichigo was pleased to see.
"I have no idea how you managed to make your signature move more powerful than before, Kurosaki," The Hollow said, starting to glare heatedly at Ichigo, blazing-red eyes glowing more brightly than before. "But make no mistake, I will not let you use it again. Dealing with one was hard enough since I couldn't stop, nor even push it away."
"Heh, is that so, Hollow?" Ichigo asked with a small smirk on his face, which further increased the Hollow's annoyance and anger, including the heated glare. "I dare you to try stopping me from casting more Getsuga Tenshos. But if you thought my Shikai Getsuga Tensho was powerful enough to push you backwards, then you're much of an idiot since you haven't seen my Bankai Getsuga Tensho as well as my Hollow mask enhanced Getsuga Tensho."
The Hollow froze upon hearing the Bankai Getsuga Tensho and Hollow mask enhanced Getsuga Tensho part, causing it to start shaking for once in its existent life. It heard stories about those two abilities, including the Hollow mask, which is something the creature once had trouble to accept since no Soul Reaper would ever use Hollow powers, but to go against them in action…
"LIKE HELL I'LL LET YOU ACTIVATE YOUR BANKAI OR SUMMON YOUR HOLLOW MASK TO FURTHER INCREASE YOUR GETSUGA TENSHO, KUROSAKI! PREPARE TO DIE THIS TIME!" With a loud demonic roar, the black mask Hollow, intending to not let its enemy activate Bankai or summon the Hollow mask, rushed over towards the still smirking Ichigo, who just floated in the air with his huge sword pointing downwards.
The rushing action proved to be a very grave mistake since Ichigo came up with a cunning plan to end the epic battle once and for all…by releasing a couple very powerful Getsuga Tenshos when the Hollow gets close enough, which will cause enough damage for it to go down. After that, he will land the final killing blow.
"Getsuga Tensho!" Ichigo shouted once the Hollow got close enough to him, swinging his sword in a upward strike with one hand. The light blue wave of very powerful energy slammed into the creature, making it released not only a scream of pain, but a large amount of blood to gush out. Another very powerful Getsuga Tensho sent it towards the ground below with a mighty crash, causing debris and dust to fill the air, while a big crater formed.
Ichigo knew without a doubt the epic battle was over as he Flash Step near the crater and waited for the dust to settle down, sword ready for any sign of movement. It had to be over since the Hollow took two very powerful Getsuga Tenshos without any form of defense, due to rushing towards him in fear upon hearing the Bankai Getsuga Tensho and Hollow mask enhanced Getsuga Tensho.
At the same time, though, Ichigo was having trouble accepting the fact how…easy the epic fight had been, despite wanting to become extremely proud he defeated a Arrancar Aizen created with only his Shikai without going into his Bankai even once. This was a major accomplishment because he always used the form whenever he goes against a stronger opponent, and he wondered if the training he received after regaining his Soul Reaper powers had finally paid off.
…Or if the black mask Hollow was just so cocky and arrogant it had been easy to defeat it.
'Either way, I'm glad this fight is over,' Ichigo thought with relief as he continued to wait for the dust to settle down, still standing near the crater. 'I may be a bit disappointed how easy it was to defeat the Hollow with barely full power, but I am glad I defeated it before the fight can get worse. Once I land the final killing blow, I'm going to head towards Kisuke's place and tell the guys about what I encountered. They probably already know about the Spiritual Pressure, but not the Hollow itself.'
Soon, the dust settle down and Ichigo walked towards the edge of the crater before looking down inside. At the very bottom surrounded by a pool of blood and lying on its back with arms spread out was the Hollow. It looked terrible. The wound it received from the first very powerful Getsuga Tensho was still leaking out blood, making the pool of blood underneath slightly bigger than before, and its face is scrunched up in agonized pain. It couldn't even move its body, which is due to the tremendous pain it is currently feeling.
"This…this can't be…" The Hollow said weakly, its face still scrunched up in agonized pain. "The fight I always dreamed of…for the past year…lasted only a couple moments? This can't be happening…it just can't be…"
As the Hollow continued to lay on its back in the crater, questions were running through its mind. How was this possible? How could the epic fight lasted only a couple moments instead of a long time? The two different beings barely used their full power, and they hadn't even started on phase two! It shouldn't be possible for a fight to end so quickly at all!
Despite himself, Ichigo couldn't help but give the black mask Hollow a look of pity. It had been locked away in Los Noches for a year after being created by Aizen and when it finally met him a year later for the epic fight it kept dreaming about, it only got destroyed in a couple moments. Maybe he should've let the fight kept going for a bit while instead of ending it so quickly.
But like all wise people would say, we cannot change the past, but we can affect the future.
Ichigo released a weary sigh before walking in the crater and towards the down Hollow at the very bottom. It noticed him coming, but due to still being in tremendous pain from the two very powerful Getsuga Tenshos, it could only lay on the ground and watch as the enemy it wanted to fight ever since being created came closer. Eventually, Ichigo came to a stop upon getting close and stared down at the down Hollow who stared back at him.
The silence between the two different beings was deafening, not a single word filled the air as they continued to stare at each other. What can they say after a rather quick epic battle? Eventually, it was Ichigo who broke the deafening silence.
"Well…I guess that's that," Ichigo said, cringing a bit from how insulting those words are. He may be good with speeches and wise words, but he's not good with comfort words. "It had been interesting fighting against you, Hollow, even though we only started a couple moments ago. But I'm afraid all good things have to come to an end. It's time to officially put you down for good like every Hollow I slain."
Ichigo had been ready to land the final killing blow and finish the black mask Hollow once and for all when suddenly, he couldn't move his body. Looking down, his eyes widen in shock when he spotted a binding Kido around him. "What the hell?! Who put this binding Kido on me?!" The answer to Ichigo's question came from the Hollow who is currently laughing. "You did this?! How?! I thought you were weak from my Getsuga Tenshos!?"
The black mask Hollow continued to laugh for a few more moments before speaking. "I am still weak from those blasted attacks, you stupid fool, but because you waited for the dust to settle down, you just gave me enough time to let me use my Regeneration ability, not enough to heal me completely, but enough let me cast a binding Kido on you. Though, I needed you to get close to me since I couldn't cast it far away."
'Damn it! The son of bitch got me trapped!' Ichigo thought angrily as he tried to break free from the binding Kido, but it was proving to be fruitless. The binding is strong, way strong like a Captain, and since he doesn't know any Kido, there's no way he can dispel it. 'I should've just finished it off when I got close instead of talking to it!'
"But even if I completely heal myself, I can never defeat you, Kurosaki," The Hollow continued, breaking Ichigo's thoughts. "You're too powerful for me to handle and I can never match your Bankai speed once you activate it. Not to mention, I won't be able to block the Hollow mask enhanced Getsuga Tenshos. But luckily…I have a solution to defeat you."
Hearing the last part made Ichigo stop trying to break free from the binding Kido and gain a dreaded feeling. He didn't like where this conversation is going, especially since the Hollow gained an evil grin on its face. "What exactly are you going to do?"
"It's very simple, Kurosaki, I'm going to send you to a different dimension where you will be trapped there forever with no way to contact your friends for help."
"WHAT?!" Ichigo shouted, not expecting that type of answer. Being sent to a different dimension forever with no way to contact for help? That's horrifying.
"Yep, and your imprisonment in the different dimension I will send you in begins right…NOW!"
Without wasting a single moment, the black mask Hollow began charging dark Spirit Energy onto its katana sword that somehow didn't get sent flying away during both the Getsuga Tensho impact and the mighty crater crash, causing the blade to be surrounded in a red and black aura. Once channeled enough dark Spirit Energy onto the katana, the Hollow raised it high in the air before swinging downwards to release the move that will send Ichigo to the different dimension. "Dimensional Transfer!"
The red and black wave of dark energy headed towards Ichigo, who struggled harder than before to break the binding Kido, but like before, it was proving to be fruitless. There is absolutely nothing he can do at all, except watch the dark energy get closer to him with wide eyes filled with horror and sadness. He couldn't believe this was happening; Ichigo is about to get sent towards a different dimension where he will be trapped forever with no way to contact for help…and he won't be able to see his friends and family ever again.
The red and black wave of dark energy connected to Ichigo's body and darkness took over his vision as he got transported away from his home into a different dimension, a dimension that's much different than his own dimension…and a dimension where a great war is taking place.
And done! That's the ending of the chapter! Sorry if the fight wasn't as exciting as you guys were hoping for; I kinda lost the drive to make the epic fight great after I posted the part chapter for chapter three. I still made it good and did put much effort into writing this, so I hope the fight is okay.
I'm very sorry for the lack of chapter updates for this story, I didn't mean to make you guys wait so long. I had been busy writing other chapters for my other stories, and I only started writing this chapter a couple weeks ago like the start of January. Again, very sorry about that.
With so many stories to write, I'm going have to put this story on hiatus until I can finish a couple of stories. I don't really want to do this, but I have no choice. It's the only way to keep me from gaining so much stress when writing different chapters for other stories. If I do, then I'll never get any chapters done.
Until I can finish a couple stories, this story is officially on hiatus.
Anyways, I'm very sorry for the lack of chapter updates and this story going on hiatus. I promise I will make it up soon once I finished a couple stories. Also, I will be combining the two part chapters in a few weeks, so if you guys think it's a new chapter being posted, it's actually not; it's only chapter three.
