Hey, hey!
Please enjoy the last chapter of 'My Joy'.
"Keep pressing the circle and B button, dad! That's the secret technique! Keep going!"
"I'm going quick Boruto! This thing is kicking my butt!"
Naruto sat on the floor with Boruto and Kawaki. All three of them looking at the big screen TV as they played the new edition of Ultimate Ninja Storm. Just released yesterday, and Naruto was not winning.
Kawaki was laying on his stomach as his little sister Himawari was straddling his back. Playing with his hair. She loved how his hair was a mixture between their mom and dad's hair. A good mixture of their parents personalities too. Kawaki liked the mohawk look and just got the sides trimmed yesterday. All the girls in Amegakure loved his hair and 12 year old Kawaki didn't like the attention at all.
He was too busy wanting to be like his dad. Wanting to be the next leader of Amegakure. So, he had to work now to be as strong as him!
Kawaki just let Himawari take a long piece of his hair and put it in a bow. A cute black bow. Meanwhile he looked over at his struggling father and frustrated brother. "Tsk. How can you be losing when you're the main character in the video game? This game was built off of you dad."
Naruto grumbled as he lost to the main villain and sat on the floor sulking. "Playing a video game and actually doing the moves in real life are two totally different things." His sulking mood quickly changed to mischievous and he started to tickle Kawaki on his side for his smart comment. His oldest son quickly folded his arms to his side and braced himself as he tucked his head towards the floor. "D-Dad! Stop! I have Hima on top of me!"
Kawaki was laughing, but he didn't want to drastically flip over and knock Himawari over. She was precious cargo. The youngest of the bunch and the only girl in the house other than their mother. Kawaki and Boruto could definitely be labeled as over protective big brothers.
Naruto did let up, but only enough for Himawari to hop off. He then continued his assault on Kawaki and watched as he thrashed around the floor to escape dad's clutches. "B-Boruto! Help!"
Hearing Boruto come up behind him, Naruto grabbed Boruto with one arm and had him hanging over his shoulder. "Gotcha!"
He did in fact have Boruto in his clutches, but Boruto had a trump card. "MOMMMMMMY!" He was a bona fide mama's boy.
Just like that, their mother emerged from the kitchen with her black apron on and gave their father a disapproving stare. She didn't like to be bothered while she was cooking. Hinata wanted him to keep the kids busy. Not torture them.
Even though Hinata had her grumpy face on. Naruto couldn't help but gawk at her. She was wearing a black turtleneck, long sleeve shirt. Black leggings and orange fuzzy slippers. Her hair was in that certain hair style that he loves on her. Half up, and half down. The top cascading down like an umbrella. So bouncy. So adorable. So attractive.
Hinata's arms were crossed under her chest, but the sight she saw was just too sweet. Her kids having fun with their dad. Himawari on the sidelines cheering her father on to take on both of her big brothers. The sight warmed her heart, and Naruto saw that Hinata was losing the battle of being upset. He slowly put Boruto down and creeped up from his position while Hinata was in a daze. "Nataaaaa."
By the time Hinata snapped back to reality, Naruto was already upon her. She giggled as she was bigger than their children, and was able to ground her feet on the ground when Naruto attempted to lift her up the first try. "Naruto!"
Boruto looked frantic. Their parents were legit wrestling right now! Like he could see his mom actually putting up a fight against their dad. This was cool to watch and scary at the same time.
Kawaki grinned at the scene. It was more entertaining to see their mother not give in to their dad's charm and rowdy personality all the time. That she had some grit in her. Which he already knew. Their mother has trained with them heavily in taijutsu and the arts of gentle fists. While Himawari was more a wiz at it. He picked up on some of the techniques too. It was no easy art to even be efficient in. So, Kawaki knew their mother had that fight in her, only when she wanted to show it though.
Himawari was the sweetheart of the three, but just like her mother, she enjoyed a good squabble. The fact she didn't see her mother do this with their father often. It was exciting to see. It was exciting to see their mother show that she once was a ninja as well, and could handle the opposite gender just fine, if she wanted to.
Naruto was wearing black sweat pants and a black t-shirt. His hair was still the unruly mess Hinata had fallen in love with, just a little longer. Being 31 meant nothing on the maturity scale for Naruto. He still was as fast as they come. If anything, he's only gotten stronger with age. Across all nations, Naruto was still the person to be intimated by.
Even more now that it was known that his family was the servers of the Ōtsutsuki clan. That his wife was the gate keeper of the ten tailed demi-God, Kaguya. She was also proficient in the use of the Tenseigan now. She learned to open the portals and travel to the moon. Both Naruto and Hinata ventured and learned about the Ōtsutsuki family on the moon and more about the Ōtsutsuki history. Which was now their history. Bringing their children along as they aged. Learning their duties. Learning of the possible threats to humanity. So they would always be prepared.
On the moon. Naruto and Hinata discovered many Ōtsutsuki died from their civil war. Which they knew, however, they didn't know a God tree was growing beautifully around the planet. Far from where Kaguya was emerged. It was there. Hidden from the world, until the wrong people discovered it.
Maybe Naruto was a desperate man that wanted to make sure the love of his life stayed safe. That she could always defend herself, and their children. He didn't know, but he ate the fruit from the tree. He had no regrets, and he had no regrets when he let Hinata eat from his fruit as well.
He was a man that would do anything to protect his family. Naruto wasn't stupid. He knew of the looming threats, and he would destroy them before they even had a chance to cause damage in this world of peace.
So, even though the kids knew their parents were dangerous. At this moment, they were just being parents and having some fun. Wrestling one another.
Naruto dipped his face in the crook of her neck and made a loud fart sound against her skin. Tickling Hinata and making her lose her baring and flop in his arms laughing. "Naruto Uzumaki! You are too much!"
He lifted her up this time and twirled her as the two fell on the couch together. Naruto sitting on the couch and Hinata in his lap. He held her bridal style and Hinata held her sides as she couldn't stop laughing. Her wooden spoon still in her hand. Naruto saw some sauce from the spoon dripping onto Hinata's hand. He grabbed her hand and licked the sauce from it. Lapping at it excitedly, with a silly grin.
Hinata continued to laugh and tried to pull away from him, but he had her in a vice grip. "Ewww! You're always flirting with mom. Come on dad!"
Boruto made a grossed out face, but Kawaki smirked at Boruto as he gave him a nuggie for a second on his head. "You always say that. Yet you spend forever on the phone with Sarada when she calls. Dad doesn't say anything about that. Or when you two video chat all d-"
"Okay! Jeez!" Boruto flushed pink and glared at his big brother. He was always defending their dad. "Whatever. What about the girl that clings to your arm all day in the academy?! The one that wears the skimpy shorts. Hmm? The one mom doesn't like."
Kawaki rolled his eyes at this. "What about her? I pay Eida no attention. Besides, unlike you, I can admit when I like a girl or not. Which is Sumire. She's pretty advanced. She got bumped up to my class from yours, and she's still ahead of some of the people in my class. She's cute too. Again, unlike you I can admit when a girl is cute instead of acting all weird around them. Her foster parents are awesome too."
Naruto and Hinata watched the boys go back and forward. Kawaki was typically the calm one that didn't feed into Boruto's comments. Also, Hinata did in fact not like that little girl Eida and her personality. Mama Hinata was very protective of her kids, especially when Kawaki was at an age that girls were impressionable on him. He was very mature for his age and Hinata was so proud how he was growing up.
She was proud of all her children. Boruto, even though he didn't want to admit it. Was a replica of his father. He could get loud. Was rambunctious. Always looking for a good time or adventure and stuck to a favorite food that he preferred over anything. He was still growing, but Boruto had dreams of traveling the world and being an amazing ninja. He sounded so similar to a silver haired man that Naruto cherished as his God father.
Himawari. Their little miracle child. After Boruto, Hinata did become pregnant months after having him, and she had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. That was it. They were fine with two children and Naruto didn't want to put Hinata through the trauma of any more pregnancy complications.
Hinata even made an appointment to get her tubes tied afterwards. The procedure was three months after her miscarriage, and when they got there for the surgery. Low and behold, the doctors couldn't do the procedure. Hinata was eight weeks pregnant. With a strong heartbeat.
Naruto swore that was the longest, most stressful seven months of his life after finding out Hinata was pregnant again. Even when she made it out the first trimester. He was still paranoid. He was so nervous about Hinata over doing it while he was at work, he reached out and asked her sister Hanabi to come and help Hinata out until she gave birth.
Naruto has never gotten a chance to live with any family members of Hinata's. He knew Hanabi, but not that well. By gosh was she SPUNKY. She was a regular 'Ms. Know it All'. He didn't like the way she talked to Hinata sometimes, but Hinata reassured him that was just how their relationship worked. Hanabi was always spicy and meant it with love.
Naruto secretly wasn't having it.
So, he called Tenten and asked if she wanted to come up here during Hinata's pregnancy. It worked out perfectly because for months, Tenten talked about permanently moving to Amegakure. Just because she felt like Hinata was more so her family than anyone else. So, Tenten did come up. She stayed in their guest home while building up her weapons store here.
Tenten would check Hinata's sister if she grew too 'spunky' while Naruto was at work.
This was the reason it was such a long and stressful pregnancy. Hinata didn't want to be babied. Naruto wanted to baby her. They had two little ones in the house already, and two extra alpha females around. Naruto was STRESSED.
However, something amazing came out of this. Other than him investing in Amegakure having the best damn OB/GYN, labor and delivery ward in all the nations. The most amazing thing, was their beautiful little girl. They opted to wait until birth to know the gender reveal and when Naruto found out he had a baby girl. He fell in love all over again.
They named her Himawari and she was PERFECT. She was nine pounds and had a head full of hair that matched Hinata's. Along with his birth marks and eyes. She was breathtaking and Naruto cried when he had a chance to hold her. Their family was complete after Himawari. Hinata got her tubes tied after delivery and they were happy.
Himawari was eight years old now and a breath of fresh air. She followed both her mommy and daddy around. Naruto couldn't help himself and took more telework days at home to be around his adorable little girl while she did regular grade school. Himawari was young, but her love was in technology. She expressed she didn't want to be a ninja right now, and wanted to be more into the growing cyber world.
Which was perfectly fine with Naruto. He needed at least one of his kids to be rich.
Himawari was just like her mother. She knew the path of how to make money.
Boruto grumbled at Kawaki and his big brother grinned at him before pulling him to his side for a hug. Boruto was a 'tough guy', but he liked to be coddled. Kind of like their father. Kawaki kind of adopted his mother's personality in knowing when to rag on Boruto and when to give him some brotherly love.
Boruto wasn't good at expressing himself. So, him telling a girl that he liked her wasn't as easy as it was for his big brother. Kawaki knew that. He was just trying to give him a little reality check that it was normal and healthy what their parents were doing, and not to shame them. Again, another trait Boruto got from their dad. Endless teasing when they got too hyper.
In reality, Boruto was a pretty mellow, good kid. He loved his family and adored his mother. Nothing was wrong with him teasing their dad. He kept the teasing in house anyways.
Boruto let Kawaki hug him and after some time, he returned the affection. Hinata smiled at her children. How they quickly resolved their problems and moved on from the altercation. She made an 'o' face as she wiggled out of Naruto's arms and back into the kitchen. She would never let dinner get ruined from getting sidetracked.
"Himawari. Darling. Your coding package has been delivered not too long ago. The software should be as simple as putting it in your computer and it'll start to guide you on the first stages of coding."
Himawari smiled from ear to ear. "Yay! I'm so excited. I want to learn to build a webpage and set up an awesome firewall protection for it. My website will have the latest info for the Ninja Storm games and updates. I'll be the first to post spoilers and with a strong firewall, no one will be able to hack or steal my information! I'm so excited mom!"
Hinata giggled at this. "Yes, but make sure I am present every time you're on the internet. Okay?" Himawari followed Hinata in the kitchen like always and nodded her head in agreement.
Hinata opened the oven and pulled out their finished dinner as she smiled at her daughter. "Pretty soon. You can create your own game. Mom just so happens to be friends with the director of the game testers company that did Ninja Storm, and a few other games. He bought one of my paintings last month, and I could introduce you to the gaming team."
Himawari eyes lit up and she had to control herself on not screaming. "MOM! Would you PLEASE! You're the BEST!" She bounced in place with pure excitement and bounced her way to the dinner table to get ready for dinner.
Naruto and the boys looked absolutely lost at the conversation. Naruto did make a mental note of Hinata's 'connections' though. Whenever Hinata and Himawari start talking 'IT' and computers. It was like talking another language to him. Kawaki understood a little bit, but he wasn't into computers as much as Himawari. Boruto knew less than Kawaki honestly.
She took it to another level. Himawari fixated on computers. She took apart her first computer, and put it back together with their mom when she was six years old. In just one day. She could name all the parts and loved getting quizzed on them. Naruto was having a computer issue at home one day from his work computer, and Himawari was able to trouble shoot it.
She was one smart cookie. It was kind of a shame though, because she possessed the Byakugan. Boruto didn't have it, which wasn't a big deal at all. He had many other powerful traits. However, Himawari was talented all across the borders. So it was confusing to her brothers why she was focused on computer science as a career. She was freaking eight!
Their mother explained it to them several times. The changing of the world, and how computers help the world, and at the same time could help ninjas. If monitored correctly. Not taking away from the actual ninja skill or making them lazy or dependent of technology.
She explained this, but it was still confusing to Boruto and Kawaki. Himawari was showing signs of being just like their mother. A precious jewel that needed to be protected in the walls of Amegakure. She was a mystery with many hidden talents. She was someone Boruto and Kawaki promised to look after and protect. Forever and ever.
Dinner went as usual in the Uzumaki household. Naruto and Boruto teasing one another. Kawaki playing mediator between the two. Himawari talking to her mom about her day and her new excitement for her system, and mama Hinata, being the attentive and loving mother she always was.
This was the life Hinata has always wanted, but never thought she'd get.
Even while eating and playing with the kids at dinner. Naruto would still look over at his wife when she was too busy daydreaming. With that adorable, content look on her face. The look of tranquility and happiness. The look that he always wanted to see on her face before the day was over, because it meant he did his job as her husband. He gave her the joy she's always wanted. Which was only fair, because she gave him the joy he's always wanted.
After dinner and showers. The kids were off to settle down for bed, while mom and dad had their free time in their room.
Naruto liked to always make sure the kids were at least half asleep before they really had adult talk. He watched Hinata come out the bathroom with her white silk nightie on and smiled as she sat on the bed. Getting ready to do his favorite part of the night. Cuddle.
"Hmm. You should get some sleep Naruto. You have to be in the office tomorrow." She turned to look at him and saw Naruto staring straight into her soul. Catching her off guard. Hinata blinked at the owl like look Naruto was giving her. Having no clue what was happening. "Umm-"
"Who's this big name 'director' that you know, from the most popular game that's out right now?"
Hinata looked completely lost. "Chad? He is only in charge of the game testing section. Not the actual game Naruto."
His eyes widened, and while Hinata laid down, he sat up. Eyes only growing bigger. "CHAD?! That is the most sleaziest AND cheesiest name ever Hinata. Plus, don't down play this guy's position. If he's buying your artwork. He is doing pretty damn well for himself financially. Making more than me. That's for sure."
Hinata couldn't believe they were having this conversation. She even gave Naruto a dull look as she nestled in her pillow. "We are associates Naruto. We do not talk frequently, and he is married. Just like I am. He is very much in love with his spouse. Just like I am. He bought the painting, for his wife."
Naruto's face was stuck for a moment. Reality was hitting him that he was overexaggerating and sounding silly. He smiled at her nervously and leaned down to kiss her lips, but Hinata turned her head so his lips landed on her cheek. Showing she wasn't happy with his little stunt he just pulled.
Jealousy was something Naruto suffered from greatly. Hinata understood this for like the first five years of them being together. From how she previously treated him. However now, after showing him nothing but love and dedication for over ten years. Naruto should know better than to think such a thing.
Naruto pouted when Hinata did this. "Don't be like that." He kissed her cheek again as his hand snuck it's way to her chin and softly turned her head towards his. So he could kiss her lips. Hinata let him do this, but didn't respond to the kiss. She still gave him a dull, uninterested look.
She was making this a challenge, and Naruto liked challenges. He liked to rile her up from time to time. "I'm sorry Hinata." He was giving her full kisses now. Trying to coax her to engage with him. "You know I get a little jealous." His hands ended up under her nightie and played with her hip and belly. "You're mine. I don't know how to share you with anyone other than the kids."
He kept smacking his lips against Hinata's until she finally pushed her lips against his. Pushing her body closer to his. Melting to his touches. "You know I'm yours. I do not like when you get like this Naruto."
He bit his bottom lip when she said she was his. He took her thigh and hiked it over his as he pulled her into a burning kiss. That's right. She was his. If he wanted her. He could have her, and he wanted her.
She wanted him too, because Hinata cradled the back of his head and gripped his thick head of hair as she let him deepen the kiss. Invade her mouth with his tongue. Mumble words of apologies as he touched her everywhere. Silently telling himself this was all his.
When the two separated for air. Naruto grinned at Hinata, that handsome grin that made her heart flutter. "I love you Hinata Uzumaki. My joy."
In return she smiled at him. All was forgiven. Naruto would behave now. "I love you Naruto Uzumaki. My joy."
He held her hand up and laced their fingers together. Looking at her dainty hand in his. "Do you want me Hinata?" He leaned down and gave her a wet kiss. One that had Hinata trailing after him. Her eyes went into a sensual daze and her free hand had maneuvered between them and found his growing erection.
Naruto smiled at this and let Hinata lightly push him onto his back, on the bed. He still held on to her hand and kissed it as she slid him inside of her with ease. His eyes hungrily took in her appearance of need and lust.
"Hinata. If you want me. Then have me."
End of story.
We're done! I hope you enjoyed the story! It was a blast to write. The up and down rollercoaster ride in the beginning, to the solid couple they've become in the middle and end. Relationship goals!
As I wrote this last chapter, a spin off of the God Tree and moon saga really was itching at me, but that would have to be for another time. If I did do it, I would want to base it off this storyline.
However, right now. This is the end for the story. I'll hold this story special to me, and I hope you all do to. That you get a chance to read it and re-read it.
Please, if you have a favorite chapter or part. I'd like to know. If you want. I'll share now, that the waterfall scene and free jumping was my fav to write and the hotel scene, just pigging out. Was my second fav to write. Just because it gave that 'young, wild and free' feeling.
Well, until next time everyone! Again, thank you for sticking around for the journey!
