Jaune Arc Multiverse: The reaction.

Chapter 9: Idiot Box.
Arcanus summoned a bucket of water and proceeded to dunk it on Weiss. The white themed member of team RWBY shot straight up. Her reaction was exactly what he expected.
"Gah! What the hell?!" Weiss glared angrily at the omniversal being.
"Sorry but we can't have you keep missing out on these worlds now, can we?" Arcanus said in an amused tone.
Weiss blinked. "Wait, I missed out on the previous viewings?"
Arcanus shrugged his shoulders. "Eh, about two, give or take."
Weiss simply gave the scribe a deadpan stare. She then felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Ruby looking at her.
"I'll fill you in on what you missed, I promise." The red reaper said.
Weiss nodded at this before turning the screen as it turned on.
"Alright before we continue, I'd like to inform you that this world is another created by an author." Arcanus said.
This peeked everyone's interest.
"Like the one with Jaune and Courage?" Blake asked.
"Yes, though this is by a different author. Now without further ado, let us begin." Arcanus said as he vanished in flash.
The screen then lit up to start the next viewing.

Currently it was a very normal day at Beacon Academy. Unlike most days it was relatively peaceful as the students got a day off as all the Professors, including their Headmaster had to go to an important meeting off campus, so all classes were canceled.

"Huh, that's weird." Weiss said at the current situation. She had never imagined that anything like that would ever happen. Then again this was a different universe.
"Ah man, I wished this happened to us." Yang added in.
"Yeah." Ruby said in agreement.
The rest of the Beacon students nodded in agreement. It was nice to have a few days off of classes every now and then.
Meanwhile the adults, mostly the Beacon staff, were a bit surprised by this.
"What do you think that the meeting that our other selves went to is all about?" Glynda asked as she turned to Ozpin.
Ozpin took a sip from his mug. "I'm not entirely sure, though it is probably very important if all of the professors, myself included, had to go."
Glynda nodded at his explanation before turning back to the screen.

Currently in the first year dorm rooms, team JNPR wasn't doing anything special.
Nora was listening to music that was being played through her headphones. Ren was practicing tai chi in the back of the room. Pyrrha was reading a comic book that Jaune had recommended to her.

Ruby blinked as she turned to the champion. "You read comics, Pyrrha?" She asked. The rest of her friends did the same.
The redhead simply looked bashful as she played with her hair. "I dabble a bit. Read the odd issue here and there. Though I will admit that it does get confusing after a while." She admitted.
"Tell me about it." Blake muttered quietly to herself. She tried to get into comics, mostly because of Jaune, but the ones she did end up reading required her to pick the last issue in the series. Which in turn led to her having to get an entire mini-series to understand the context of THAT issue. Overall she just gave up, it was too much of a headache for her.

Jaune on the other hand was by himself, looking at his scroll.

"I wonder what Vomit Boy is looking at." Yang wondered.
"Probably something benign." Weiss said.

"Come on, come on!"said Jaune to himself, while some of his teammates were starting to notice him and starting to get worried as there was a notification on his scroll.
"Yes!"said Jaune as he put away his scroll and ran out to the hallway to team RWBY's dorm room and quickly open the door.

"Woah, he seems excited." Yang said, a bit surprised by the sudden excitement Jaune displayed.
"Why is he going to your dorm?" Ren spoke up, a bit confused by his leader's actions.
"Arc is probably going to get Ruby for another of their nerd debates." Weiss said.
This caused the red reaper to glare at the youngest Schnee daughter. "Hey! I'll have you know that me and Jaune have very sophisticated conversations about stuff we are passionate about!" She exclaimed.
Weiss simply rolled her eyes. "Sophisticated isn't the word I would use."

Weiss was having a cup of tea on her side of the room. Blake was once again lost in thought as she was reading a book, while Yang was doing some shadow boxing in the corner of the room. Ruby on the other hand was munching on some cookies when she noticed Jaune.

"Looks like an average afternoon for us." Blake remarked.
"Minus what Arc is planning." Weiss added in.
"You're really a downer huh Ice Queen?" Yang gave the Schnee a blank look. She swears anything that involves Jaune always makes Weiss so pissy.
Weiss simply huffed at being called that.

"Jaune, what's up?"Ruby asked while she got off of her bed.
"Ruby, it arrived!"said Jaune, while he showed her his scroll and suddenly she became excited.
"Yes! I've been waiting for this day for a while now I can't believe it finally arrived!"said Ruby with excitement as the two began hugging and cheering with one another.

"Woah, getting a little friendly there with Vomit Boy huh Rubes?" Yang asked her sister in a teasing tone.
Ruby's face burned bright red. "Yang!" she said with a pout.
The blonde brawler simply laughed. Earning another pout from her sister.
Summer watched the interaction and giggled softly, her fingers covering her mouth. It would seem that her daughter has similar taste in men as herself.
Tai meanwhile, simply frowned at the sight. He did not like how close this Jaune guy was to his baby girl. If he ever meets the kid, he's going to make sure that he doesn't get his grubby hand on his little rose bud.
Suddenly, a small object smacked him against the head. Tai flinched as he held the spot the object struck him at. He turned to see who threw it and immediately regretted it.
The reason as to why was simple. Jaune's father, Jonathan gave Tai a look that promised pain.
Tai gulped as he turned back to the screen. Memories of a demonic blonde trio filled his mind during his time at Beacon.

"Woah, what are you two so excited about?"asked Yang, wondering what her sister and her friend were so excited about.

"My thoughts exactly." Yang said as she wondered why Ruby and Jaune's counterparts were so excited.

"It's a secret."said both of them at the same time.
"What?!"said Yang, as it wasn't like Ruby to keep secrets from her.
~
"Wait what?" Yang blinked, not believing what she just heard. There was no way that Ruby would keep a secret from her. Tai and Qrow were of similar mindsets.
Meanwhile Ruby mused, the red reaper made a mental note to start doing that. Don't get her wrong she loved her sister but Yang had a bad habit of being overbearing. Especially when it came to Ruby's social life, or lack thereof.

"So Jaune, where should we take it?"asked Ruby to her male best friend.
"I say the roof that way no one is bothered by what we're going to do."said Jaune, causing Ruby to ponder on this.
"Yeah the roof sounds fine, but let's put it in that spot with a lot of shade so we don't heat up."said Ruby, before she and Jaune left team RWBY's room.

Everyone blinked, not sure what to make of what they saw. All they knew was that the alternate versions of Jaune and Ruby were planning something. And apparently they wanted it to be kept secret from their counterparts.

"Okay, did anyone else notice that they were acting strange?" Yang asked her teammates, while Weiss finished her cup of tea and Blake put her book down.
"For once we're in agreement. Even by their standards, that was strange."said Weiss, who wondered what those two were up to.
"Ruby isn't one to usually keep secrets, she usually blurts out everything that comes to mind."said Blake, who found everything that had just happened suspicious as well.

"Hey!" Ruby cried out. She felt betrayed by how her cat Faunus teammate described her.
"Am I wrong?" Blake asked blankly. Her response was Ruby simply huffing as she turned away from her, crossing her arms.

"Maybe they are going to make out on the roof?"suggested Nora, as she peeked into the dorm room.

"OH HELL NO!" Was the response given by Yang, Tai, Qrow, and Pyrrha. Fury was clearly evident in their voices. The former three out of overprotectiveness while the latter out of jealousy.
Meanwhile, Ruby blushed at the indication. Though it's not like she was against it.
Also meanwhile, Ren simply shook his head at this whole Nora simply laughed.
"If that little twerp touches my little rosebud I'll kill him!" Tai exclaimed.
"Count me in. No boy is going to get their grubby hands on my niece." Qrow growled angrily.
"If Vomit Boy dares to defile my little sister I'll break every bone in his body!" Yang yelled, her hair glowing and eyes turning red as a result. She even cracked her knuckles to emphasize her point.
Summer looked at the three and shook her head in disappointment. They seriously need to learn that Ruby isn't a kid anymore, much to her own displeasure. But the point still stands.
"If that red hooded harlot thinks she could steal my man, she has another thing coming." Pyrrha began to mutter in pure hatred. Her aura was coming out with pure killing intent. Making her teammates look at her nervously. They hope that Pyrrha didn't do anything to hurt Ruby.
Angela raised a brow at the Spartan's jealousy. Though she didn't judge her for it. The Arc matriarch then subtlety glared at Willow.
Everyone else simply sweat dropped at the sight, Glynda rubbing her forehead in irritation.
"Your friends sure are something Blake." Kali whispered as she leaned into her daughter's ear.
"Trust me mom, that's even the half of it." Blake replied. However, she too was annoyed at the insinuation that the other Nora made. It made her stomach bubble up in jealousy. However, unlike Pyrrha she had managed to handle it better.
Ozpin meanwhile, took a sip of his mug, enjoying the drama playing before him.
Suddenly, the entire room around the audience went cold. Their spines shivered in complete terror. Their hearts began to beat rapidly against their chests. Their minds were telling them to run and get to safety.
The only ones not affected was Willow as she instead pushed her legs together. A pool of heat began to build up between them as her face became atomic red.
Also the Arc family was not affected as they were used to it.
Against their better judgment, everyone turned to the source of this killer intent. Only to see Jonathan Arc giving all of them the death stare. The way his blue eyes bore into their souls caused them to sweat profusely.
" I'm going to say this once." His voice was no longer kind but a cold and harsh tone. Jonathan darted towards the three members of the Xiao-Long/Rose family. " Miss Ruby Rose is fucking 15 years old not five, so stop coddling her. She has the right to date whoever she wants. And another thing, If you three even think about harming my son for little to no reason at all then I will make sure that they'll never find your bodies." he threatened. His terrifying presence stood over the trio, who were shaking in fear.
Jonathan then snapped his head towards Pyrrha, his eyes bearing into her. Which the champion whimpered under.
" And you," Pyrrha flinched. "Stop acting jealous, it makes you look like a bitch." Jonathan said in a cold and empty tone.
Pyrrha didn't say anything but simply nodded.
Jonathan stood silent, he looked at Pyrrha before turning back to Tai, Qrow, and Yang.
"Now shut up and watch." Jonathan ordered. The four of them nodded and did as they were told.
Jonathan nodded before sitting back down with his wife. The menacing presence disappeared.
Angela leaned forward into Jonathan's ear. "That was sexy." She whispered in a sultry tone, gently biting the lobe of his ear.
Jonathan, in response, blushed madly. His wife can be a bit much for him, not that he is complaining.
Willow saw this and fumed silently. Jealousy and rage build up in her eyes.
Everyone else meanwhile, simply decided to keep watching. Trying their best to ignore the scene.

And in that moment Yang and Pyrrha ran after Ruby and Jaune like a stampede of wildebeest trying to stop them from doing what Nora suggested.
"Nora, why did you suggest that? They're just friends."said Ren, wondering why Nora was doing that.
"Hehehe, I just wanted to confirm my suspicions."said Nora, as a devilish smile appeared on her face.

Ren gave Nora a deadpan stare while the hammer maiden simply copied her counterpart's smile.
~
"I...think we should go after them before Yang seriously hurts Jaune."said Blake, who knew how overprotective her partner was when it came to her little sister.
"Agreed. Last thing we need is Yang ruining team RWBY's reputation."said Weiss, before the group decided to pursue Yang and Pyrrha.
With Yang and Pyrrah going after Ruby and Jaune.

Blake and Weiss sighed at that. It looks like they will have to bail their blonde teammate out. Again.

Soon Yang and Pyrrha made it to the door that led to the rooftop above their dorms and without a moment of hesitation Yang fired up her weapons and busted down the door.
"Okay Arc, what do you plan to do with my little sister?!" asked Yang as she and Pyrrha noticed that Jaune and Ruby were moving a... really big box?

Everyone blinked at the sight. That is what they were doing? Moving a big box?
The Xiao Long family let out a sigh of relief as it turned out that Jaune and Ruby weren't doing anything…indecent.
Summer pouted a little, a part of her was hoping she would see her little rosebud go on a date. She wanted to see so she could embarrass her later damnit!
Ruby herself was also disappointed. She had hoped that this viewing would show Jaune and her on a date. But alas life doesn't seem that fair.
Ruby made a mental reminder to ask Arcanus if he could show them a world where she and Jaune were together.
Pyrrha didn't even bother to hide the relief she was feeling. She was internally glad that that little jailbait didn't steal her man. Don't get her wrong, she has nothing against Ruby, the red reaper is a great friend, but she thinks that a relationship between the two of them wouldn't work. Major factor being that Jaune is 17 and Ruby is 15.
If the two had dated and Jaune had turned 18 then they would be in major trouble. Since the age of consent in Vale, and Atlas, was 18.
Pyrrha refused to let her man go to jail because the red reaper wanted to pursue a relationship with him.
Meanwhile, Jonathan was looking at Pyrrha with great judgment.

"A little more to the left."said Jaune, who didn't pay attention to anything Yang was saying.
"No, no, a little more to the right."said Ruby as they carefully moved the box into the shaded area of the roof.
"They were just moving a box?"asked Pyrrha, who was as confused as everyone else as they arrived.
"I wonder what's in that box?"asked Nora, and within seconds she got her answer as Ruby and Jaune opened the box and pulled out what was inside!

"I wonder that too." Nora asked as she paid close attention to the screen.
~
Inside the box was a ridiculously large television.
~
"Woah." Yang said.
"When did they order that?" Weiss asked out loud. 'They had better not use my credit card.' She added mentally.

"When did they order that?"asked Weiss and she hasn't seen a television like that since the one that was in her grandfather's study.
"That is one old school television."said Ren before he was surprised by what Ruby and Jaune did next.

"That it is." Ren agreed with his on screen counterpart.
~
Without a moment of hesitation they tossed the television aside and entered the box...?
~
Everyone just blinked, not sure on what to say.
"What?" Blake asked in confusion.
"I am equally confused as you are Kit-Kat." Yang replied.
~
"Just when I thought they couldn't get any stupider."said Weiss as she pinched the bridges of her nose, Before she and the others walked towards the box.
~
"Well said me." Weiss sighed out as she pinched her nose. Finding that this version of Jaune and Ruby to be quite idiotic. Seriously, who would order a large TV only for the box?
~
"Let me get this straight. You two ordered a giant old-fashioned television just so you two could play with the box?"asked Blake, as everything the two team leaders were doing was confusing.
"Pretty smart huh?"said Jaune, as he and Ruby pop their heads out of the box.
"I thought it wouldn't work."said Ruby, causing her sister and friends to look at her and Jaune with looks of confusion.

Again everyone was confused by what the other Ruby meant.

"Why?"asked Yang, wondering what her sister and her best friend were up to.
"Yeah, don't you two have any brains!"yelled Weiss, wondering how childish Jaune and Ruby could be.
"Weiss, Yang we don't need television. Not as long as we have our imagination..."said Jaune who somehow made a rainbow appear when he moved his hands.

Upon seeing the alternate Jaune do that, the adults, except for Jonathan and Angela, went dead quiet. The silence was broken when Qrow.
"Are you fu-freaking kidding me?" Qrow asked in disbelief. He held back a curse when he realized that there was a baby with them.
"He could do that too?" Asked Tai, his eyes widened as large as saucer plates.
"Apparently." Summer said in surprise.
Ruby and Yang looked at their father and mother in confusion.
"Um, dad, what do you mean by that?" Ruby asked.
Tai looked at his youngest daughter. "Oh, nothing sweetie…just um your friend can do the same thing Johnny does." Tai explained.
Ruby raised a brow. "The rainbow thing?"
Tai nodded.
Qrow decided to interrupt.
"I swear I still don't understand how he does it." Qrow said.
Jonathan smirked as he decided to mess with him. "That, Qrow, is because you lack…Imagination." Jonathan said, waving his hands which formed a rainbow.
Everyone, minus Willow and the Arcs, looked at the elder Arc male with dumbfounded and shocked looks. Or in Ruby and Nora's case, awe.
"What the?!" Yang asked.
"W-wha? How?!" Weiss asked.
"I want to do that!" Nora said with stars in her eyes.
"Me too!" Ruby added.
Jonathan couldn't help but chuckle at the two girls' enthusiasm and the dumbfounded looks of everyone else.
Angela and Willow both giggled at Jonathan's actions. Despite being a grown adult he can act like such a kid.
Adrian let out a cute laugh. "Imagination!" He called as he waved his hands. Rainbow formed as he did.
They resulted in all of the women to coo loudly at the action.
"Aw, ain't such a precious little thing." Kali said as she walked closer and playfully pinched Adrian's cheek.
"I remember when Ruby was this little." Summer cooed.
"I feel the same way. Oh, if only my little Lotus flower stayed like that." An said with a bright smile. Her words got her son to blush in embarrassment while her husband simply laughed.
The baby simply giggled at the attention he was getting. Saphron and Terra laughed at how was happy their baby was.
Meanwhile, Angela and Jonathan dropped their smiles. Not for any negative reasons, but of confusion. As far as they both knew, Adrian was Terra's son so he shouldn't be able to do that.
Suddenly a light bulb went off in their heads. They both remembered the two weeks that Jaune spent over there in Argus with the couple. And then a week after that Terra announced that she was pregnant. They were so overjoyed at the prospect of being grandparents that they overlooked the how.
Jonathan and Angela looked at one another, they needed to have a talk with Saphron and Terra when they got the chance.

"How did you do that?"asked Nora with interest, as she wanted to do that too.
"I just used my imagination."answered Jaune, as both teams looked at their leaders with confusion.
"Wow, I never thought of it that way."said Pyrrha, trying to be polite.
"That is certainly something..."said Ren who felt like he was being dragged into one of Nora's fantasies, but instead it was two individuals he thought were at least sane...
"So can I have your TV?"asked Yang as she always wanted a large television in the dorm room.

Everyone in team RWBY turned to the blonde brawler with deadpanned looks.
"Really?" Blake asked.
"What? It will be a waste to let a TV like that just stay outside." Yang defended her counterpart's actions.
Ruby, Blake, and Weiss simply shook their heads at that.

"Yang, how are we even going to get it to fit?"asked Weiss, trying to be the voice of reason.
"You let me worry about that."said Yang as Jaune stood up in the Box.
"With imagination..."said Jaune as he once again created a rainbow from waving his hands which still confused his friends as they wondered how he was doing that.
"I can be anything I want to be! A pirate, ARGH! A football player, hup!"said Jaune as Ruby decided to join in the conversation.
"A Huntress in training."she said.

Weiss blinked before turning to Ruby. "Ruby, you already are a Huntress in training." She deadpanned.
Ruby rolled her eyes. "I know that! It was the other me that forgot about that." She said.
"Riiiight." Weiss said.
Ruby huffed at that and went back to looking at the screen.

"Ruby, you are already a Huntress in training..."deadpanned Weiss as bluntly as possible.
~
Weiss turned to Ruby with a smug look.
Ruby replied by sticking her tongue out at her.
~
"See Weiss, it works! You guys try."said Ruby as she pointed to her friends.
"Okay let's see."said Weiss, as Yang closed her eyes and began rubbing her head.
"I imagine myself watching TV... and there it is!"said Yang as she pointed at the TV that Ruby and Jaune ditched.
"Can I have it, Ruby?"asked Yang.
"Sure Yang, we don't mind."said Ruby, with Jaune nodding his head in agreement.
"Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!"said Yang, as she motions for Blake and Weiss to help her move the TV, which they reluctantly did.

Blake and Weiss sighed at this. Meanwhile, Yang was a bit jealous that her counterpart was getting such a big TV.

"Jaune are you really going to play in that box?"asked Pyrrha, who is still confused by all of this.
"Yeah Pyrrha. Trust me, nothing is better than playing with your imagination..."said Jaune as he once again made the rainbow.
"Okay seriously, how are you doing that?!"asked Ren but Jaune didn't have an answer so he just shrugged his shoulders.

Ren sighed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. Just another day for him.

Team JNPR decided to just leave their team leader to do his antics with his best friend as the rest of RWBY was trying to move the TV off the roof.
"If you guys change, your minds will be in this box!"said Jaune.
"Let's play mountain climbing adventure!"suggested Ruby, with Jaune agreeing.
"Let's go for it!"said Jaune as he and Ruby close the box on themselves to play mountain climbing adventure.
"Gloves?!"asked Jaune.
"Check!"replied Ruby.
"Hats?!"asked Jaune
"Check!"replied Ruby.
"Underwear?!"asked Jaune.
"Jaune!"shouted Ruby in embarrassment.

Ruby sputters out in embarrassment.
Meanwhile, everyone was laughing at that.

"Sorry, I just had to be sure!"said Jaune in his defense.
"Okay Ruby, climb up there and secure this rope!"ordered Jaune as when you get to secure a rope when playing mountain climbing.
"You got it!"said Ruby, as the sound of her moving up a mountain to secure a rope could be heard.

Everyone blinked at that, unsure of what to make of it.
~
"Ruby... Ruby you're going too high!"said Jaune as Yang, Black, Weiss, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren noticed this and were glad that no one else was around.
"I hope they put some air holes in that box at least."said Weiss as she rolled her eyes.
"Take it easy Ruby you got to acclimate!"said Jaune but Ruby was not listening as she continued screaming with joy.
"YEAH, I'LL TAKE IT EASY WHEN I'M DEAD!"exclaimed Ruby who wasn't listening to Jaune at all!
"I'M SHAKING HANDS WITH THE BROTHERS!"said Ruby as the rest of her teammates successfully got the TV off the roof.
"WHEW! EXCELSIOR!"continued Ruby as everyone came back to the roof.
"Now where is that remote?"asked Blake as everyone began looking for the remote.
"I AM THE LIZARD QUEEN!"exclaimed Ruby as Weiss found the remote that was next to the Box.

"Aw my little baby is the lizard queen!" Summer squealed as she brought Ruby into a big hug.
"Moooom!" Ruby cried out in embarrassment.
Tai, Qrow, and Yang simply laughed at the mother-daugther interaction.

"Ruby! Ruby! RUBY! I think we need to keep our voices down! We might start an avalanche!"exclaimed Jaune, as Weiss looked at the box with an annoyed look.
"WHAT?!"yelled Ruby who did not hear her friend through all the screaming she was doing.
"I said we need to keep our voices down in case of avalanches!"exclaimed Jaune but Ruby was not listening as she was too busy wailing!
"WHAT SHOULD WE KEEP DOWN?!"yelled Ruby as everyone approached the box, with Weiss still having her annoyed look.
"OUR VOICES!"yelled Jaune as it was clear Ruby was not listening.
"Will you two shut up!"yelled Weiss as she kicked the box and was about to walk away when the sound of an actual avalanche could be heard!

"What the?" Weiss asked out loud. She was caught off guard by the sound of an avalanche going off.
She was not the only one as the others were caught off guard as well.
"How is that even possible?" Winter asked out loud. Unless it was a semblance, that should not be possible.
"I wouldn't question it if I were you Specialist Schnee. It will save you a headache." Ozpin said as he took a sip from his coffee. The headmaster of Beacon was fully used to Jonathan acting like that during his time at Beacon. Something he found amusing if he was being honest.
"I would do what the headmaster says Winter." The eldest Schnee daughter turned to Glynda.
"Really?" She asked the combat teacher.
"I've known Jay since our first year at Beacon and since then I've learned to not question anything he does when he's having fun." Glynda said.
Winter slowly nodded before realizing something. "Wait, Jay?" Winter asked.
"It's a family nickname that's given to the first born with any 'J' names. Never understood the reason why. " Glynda explained.
"Huh, he wouldn't happen to be the same Jay that you used to date would he?" Winter asked.
Glynda simply responded by blushing lightly and averting her gaze from Winter.
"Oh my Oum he is!" Winter said with wide eyes in realization.
"Shut up!" Glynda snapped.
Winter simply covered her mouth as she giggled. Which made Glynda glare at her.

Weiss and the others looked on with worry as they could hear their friends/family/secret crush screaming as the sound of them falling with the avalanche could be heard from the box!
Weiss looked at the box with a shocked and confused expression as the sound of an avalanche could still be heard until it calmed down and all that could be heard from the box was Ruby and Jaune's crying.

"Ruby!" Yang, Tai, Qrow, and Summer cried out. All of them were worried for Ruby's counterpart. Oh that Jaune kid too.
~
Yang was biting her fingers with worry as the sound of her little sister crying could be heard from inside the box, with Blake sweating nervously wondering what was going on inside that box.
Nora was also worried as Ren was holding her tightly while Pyrrha was doing her best to try to stay calm as her friend and secret crush could be hurt but that shouldn't be possible, her mind was thinking...?

"It shouldn't." Pyrrha muttered to herself. The redhead was certain that the alternate Jaune and Ruby were simply messing with them. However, the noises that were coming out of the box sounded all too real.
~
"Jaune?...Ruby?"asked Weiss nervously as she touched the box causing another sound of an avalanche coming out of the box.
Jaune and Ruby once again screamed as the sound of them falling down from the avalanche while hitting various objects could be heard! This continued until the sound of them hitting something hard could be heard, causing their friends outside the box to worry!

Like their counterparts, the friends of the two began to worry greatly for them. It didn't make any sense! They should be fine, they're only in a box! The rational parts of their minds told them. Trying to reassure them, however, that did nothing to ease their worries.
The adults meanwhile, were simply confused. How were the kids making those sounds? Or was it the box?
Qrow, Tai, Summer, Glynda, and Ghira all turned to Jonathan, who was looking at the screen with a smile. The look on the elder Arc's face told them that he understood how they were doing it.
Qrow sighed. "Monty, I'm going to get an aneurysm trying to figure this out." He muttered to himself. It was bad enough that Jonathan could do stuff like that but now his kid! And apparently his niece.
"That's because you lack the imagination to truly comprehend my friend." Qrow shrieked as he jumped out of his seat in fright. Once on the ground, Qrow turned to see Jonathan standing behind him…somehow.
"What the? How did you do that?!" Demanded Qrow.
"Imagination." Jonathan said with a wave of his hands, creating a rainbow. He then walked back to his seat, where his wife, childhood friend, and daughter looked on in amusement. All of them are already used to his antics.

The sound of their crying could be heard as everyone was wondering what they should do.
"Hold me.."said Ruby through her groans of pain.
"Hang in there Ruby, the Bullhead is on the way!"said Jaune through his groans of pain.
"Jaune, my legs are frozen solid! You'll have to cut them off with a saw!"said Ruby l, as Yang and Weiss began panicking like crazy.

"What?!" Yang and Weiss cried out.
~
"No Ruby, I can't do that!"said Jaune.
"Why not?!"she asked.
"Because I already cut off my own arms...!"said Jaune as Ruby began screaming.
~
"Jaune!" Pyrrha shrieked. Worried for her crush.
~
Pyrrha couldn't take it anymore as she was so worried that she immediately opened the box without a second thought only to see that both Ruby and Jaune were okay.
This caused their friends outside the box to look at them with looks of confusion as they wondered where those sound effects were coming from.
"What the?"said Pyrrha with confusion and relief to see that Jaune and Ruby were okay as they appeared to just be sitting in the dark box.

"What?" Pyrrha mirrored her counterpart. Though she was internally glad that Jaune was fine. Oh and Ruby too. Pyrrha blinked at the sudden dismissive thought, what was with her today? She would never think like that about a friend, even if said friend just so happened to have a crush on her crush.
Oh yeah, the Spartan knew all too well of the red reaper's crush on the Blonde Knight. She was well aware of Ruby's crush on Jaune, the young huntress didn't even bother to hide it.
Pyrrha shook her head and decided to focus on the screen.

"How are you two making that noise?"asked Weiss.
"Yeah, how are you making all of those sound effects?"asked Nora who wanted to know how those two were doing that, as even she couldn't do that.
"Don't tell her." Whispered Ren, as that was something he didn't need to deal with.
~
"What was that Renny?" Nora turned to Ren with a smile, a smile that was anything but sweet. The hammer maiden leaned towards the stoic teen, getting in his face. Making him sweat lightly in nervousness.
"Nothing." Ren quickly replied.
"That's what I thought." Nora said as she patted Ren's head and sat back down.
Ren let out a sigh of relief, and the bullet was dodged.
Li and An watched the interaction with an amused look.
An leaned towards her husband. "I like her." She whispered.
Li simply chuckled in agreement.

"Hahaha, what noise guys?"asked Jaune who didn't understand the question.
"I can only hear the sound of our laughter."added Ruby who didn't understand what her friends were getting at.
"Yes but those sound effects!"said Blake, as she was wondering how her friends were doing that.
~
"You know what, I'm not going to even bother." Blake said as she leaned back into her seat.
Yang turned to her partner. "You're not curious about the other Vomit Boy and Rubes are making those sounds?" She asked the cat Faunus.
"Yang, I know Ruby long enough to not question anything she does during our off time. I'm more surprised that you're not doing the same." Blake explained her reasoning.
Yang pondered Blake's answer before shrugging her shoulders. "Fair enough."
~
"Yeah the avalanche!"said Yang, before Ruby interrupted her.
"Don't forget the second avalanche."added Ruby.
"Forget it!"said Weiss as this is too confusing for her.
"Yeah come on guys! why are we wasting our time out here when we could be watching my brand new television!"said Yang who was about to walk away when the sound of a bullhead could be heard.
But when everyone looked around they didn't see any Bullhead in sight even though it sounded so close.

Once again everyone blinked in confusion.
~
"ATTENTION CLIMBERS, PLEASE HOLD ON! THE SAWS ARE ON THE WAY!"said a male pilot voice as Ruby and Jaune began to cheer once more.
Blake wondering what the heck was going on was the person to open the box this time but just like last time Ruby and Jaune were just sitting where they were the last time they open the box not appearing to have moved an inch.
"How are you two doing that?!"asked Blake as for the first time in a long while she did not have an answer.

"Don't question it, me. Don't question it." Blake muttered to herself. Though she won't lie and say that she isn't a bit curious.
~
"First we established a base camp at 15,000 ft."responded Jaune as Weiss decided to be more clear with him as he was dense.
"The noises!"clarified Weiss.
"How are you two making those noises?"added Pyrrha who wanted to know the answer.
"Well that's easy all you need is a box."answered Ruby as she and Jaune showed up in the Box.
"And imagination...!"said Jaune as he once again created a rainbow out of nowhere.

"Imagination." Jonathan copied his son and waved his hands, creating another rainbow.
Tai, Glynda, and Ghira simply sighed at the action, they all had given up on how their friend managed to do that. Angela, Saphron, Terra, Willow, and Adrian laughed wholeheartedly at the sight.

"Are you guys trying to say that we have no imagination!"said Weiss who felt offended.
~
"Yes." Ruby blurted out.
"Ruby!" Yang, Blake,and Weiss cried out. All three of them feel a bit hurt and betrayed by the red reaper's words.
Winter patted her sister's back in comfort.
~
"Yeah we totally have imagination!"said Yang in her defense.
"Yeah I definitely have imagination, so move over I'm coming in!"said Nora as she got in the box with Jaune and Ruby.
"Yeah one more member for team imagination!"said Ruby who was happy that Nora was on board.
~
"Yeah!" Ruby cheered as Nora's counterpart was joining her and Jaune's counterparts.
Nora whooped as she was now a part of the imagination team.
~
"I happened to have more imagination in one hand than you two have in your entire body bodies."added Blake, as she figured that since she likes reading so much she has plenty of imagination.
"That's good now all you need is a box."said Ruby as she and team imagination close the box once more so they could play.
"I'll show them!"said Yang as she and everyone else left the roof to go get a box.
"Blake, did you hear an avalanche right now?!"asked Sun as he had Neptune ran towards the group.

"Oh hey it's Sun and Neptune." Ruby pointed out.
"Who?" Tai asked, his eyes narrowed a bit at the fact Ruby knew these two boys.
"Oh just some guys that we hang with." Yang added in.
"Yeah, with Sun having a crush on Blake and Neptune having a weird flirting thing with Weiss." Ruby said.
The parents, and older, of said girls turned to them. Waiting for an answer.
Blake turned to her parents. "I'm aware of his crush on me but sadly I don't feel the same. Don't get me wrong, Sun is…alright…but I only see him as a friend." 'Plus I have my eyes set on another blonde.' Blake said, adding the last part mentally.
Ghira and Kali nodded at their daughter's answer.
Meanwhile, Winter and Willow looked at Weiss who felt a bit embarrassed by Ruby calling her out on that.
"Weiss, what is your relationship with that boy?" Willow asked.
"Yes, do tell." Winter said.
"Winter, all me and Neptune are only friends. That's it." Weiss said.
Willow and Winter looked at Weiss for a brief moment before accepting her answer.
All of them turned back to the screen and watched.

"Yeah! We were minding our own business when we suddenly heard an avalanche."added Neptune who was honestly scared.
"It's just Jaune and Ruby playing some imaginary game and somehow they're making those noises."said Weiss as she walked past them.
"What do you mean?"asked Sun.
"Ruby and Jaune bought a large box and were playing a mountain climbing adventure when they somehow started making those noises."said Blake in a short summary so they could understand.
"Aren't they're a little too old to be playing with their imagination?"asked Neptune.

"Exactly." Weiss said in agreement.
"Now, now, Weiss, there's no problem with playing with one's imagination from time to time." Willow told her daughter.
"Mother there's a difference when a child does it and when a teenager does it." Weiss said.
"True but my point still stands." Willow responded.
Weiss simply sighed and went back to watching the screen.

"YES!"said most of the group as they made their way to team RWBY's dorm room.
Weiss quickly pulled out a large box that look like it could fit a person and pulled out a dress.
"Why haven't I worn this yet?"asked Weiss before she tossed the dress aside and put herself inside the Box.
Weiss sat in that box for a few seconds as everyone watched her, before she got angry and got out of the box before kicking it when the sound of a police siren could be heard!
"ATTENTION! WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!"yelled the police officer outside as the sound of multiple police officers and police cars could be heard outside.
"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!"yelled Sun as he quickly opened up the window and jumped outside so the cops wouldn't get him.

Blake sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose. Remembering the antics the monkey Faunus had with the law.
Meanwhile everyone was confused by the sudden sound of sirens.
~
"Weiss, I think you violated some new box kicking law."said Neptune, who decided it was time to split so he went with his buddy but the safer way down the stairs.
~
"What does that even mean?!" Weiss asked.
~
"That is stupid but then again who knows! they're a bunch of stupid laws!"said Blake, as Weiss looked at the box with worry.
Weiss quickly picked up the box and all of them went to the roof to see the officers outside.
"Look, officers, it's okay. I won't do it again!"said Weiss before she dropped the box and her mouth grew wide as she couldn't believe what she saw.
All the police sounds and noises were coming from the box Ruby, Jaune, and now Nora were playing in.
"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE COPPERS!"yelled a male voice as the sound of gunshots and a tire screeching could be heard.
"NO JOHNNY, DON'T DO IT!"yelled a police officer as the sound of police sirens and vehicles pursuing the vehicle could be heard.

No one knew what to say and just continued to watch.
~
Weiss grew red in the face with anger. She kicked the box once again next to the bigger box where her immature friends were playing with their imaginations.
As soon as the box came into contact with the other box Jaune, Ruby, and Nora opened the first box and were excited to see the other box.
"Whoopie, another box!"said Ruby as she pulled the box in before everyone closed the Box they were in once more.

"Yay!" Ruby and Nora cheered as their counterparts had another box to play with.
~
Weiss and the others couldn't believe what they were seeing and hearing so they decided to go back to the dorm rooms to calm their nerves.
"We got to try to relax."said Pyrrha as she felt like her nerves were getting to her.
"Perhaps we can drown out their childish games with a little TV."suggested Blake, as Yang grabbed the remote and turn the TV on.
"It is here that the box has reached their final stage."said a male voice as the first channel turned out to be a factory of boxes, so Yang pressed the button again to change the channel.
"The equation is illustrated here in this box."said a smart looking old man in a wheelchair as he pointed to a chalkboard with the image of a box next to a complicated equation next to it.
"Change it!"said Ren, so Yang change the channel once more.
"I couldn't afford a present this year so I got you this box."said a man as he handed his loved one a box.
"That is what I got you."said a woman that she handed the man a similar looking box.
"Isn't there anything on that isn't about boxes?!"asked Weiss in frustration as Yang changed the channel once again.
"And welcome back to championship boxing!"said an announcer as the next channel appeared to be a crowd of people waiting for a boxing match to begin.
"Hahaha, I guess this is okay. I mean it's not really about boxes."said Yang as the group's eyes grew with dread as they saw something they couldn't believe on the screen.
Instead of two boxers boxing it out it was literally two boxes hitting each other over and over again…?

"What the?" Yang asked in confusion.
"How is that even…?" Weiss's question died in her throat.
"It's best not to question it anymore." Blake replied.
~
"What is up with this TV?"asked Pyrrah and she wondered if the TV was defective.
"Oh I give up!"said Ren when suddenly the group heard something again.
"THREE...TWO...ONE-BLAST OFF!" said the countdown voice as the sound of a rocket launching into orbit could be heard!
The group quickly rushed back to the roof as they quickly deduced where the noise was coming from as they heard the sound of people in space talking to one another through communication devices
"How are they doing that?"asked Weiss as she looked at the box through the opened door.
"Yeah no one in the history of Remnant has ever created a rocket to go into space."said Pyrrha, wondering where these noises were coming from.
"That is the most realistic rocket sound I ever heard."said Yang as she rubbed her hands in her hair.

"You said it, me." Yang agreed with her counterpart as she copied her actions.
~
"There must be an explanation. Think, Weiss. THINK!"said Weiss as she began to picture Jaune, Ruby, and Nora giggling inside the Box.
They continued giggling until Jaune motioned for them to be quiet as he pulled out a tape recorder and began to replay the launching sound.
"Weiss is such a jerk!"said Jaune as he and his companions continued giggling.

Weiss scowled at that and crossed her arms. She was aware she could be…rude but she doesn't deserve that. The Schnee heiress turned to Ruby.
The red reaper noticed her glare. "Hey, that's not me! I would never talk bad about my bestie!" Ruby said.
Weiss stared at her for a little while before turning back to the screen.

"Laugh at me, will they!"said Weiss as her thought bubble disappeared as she stormed off towards the box with the rest of the group close behind.
Weiss quickly opened the box to see Jaune and Ruby looking like they were driving with Nora nowhere inside until she popped out of the box that Weiss had accidentally given them.
"All right where is it?!"asked Weiss
"Here I am."said Nora as she popped her head out.
"Where's what, Weiss?"asked Jaune, who didn't understand Weiss's question.
"Don't where what Weiss me! Where's the tape recorder?!"asked Weiss, as she and her group tried to find a tape recorder as the group inside the Box stood up.
"We don't have a tape recorder."answered Jaune.
"Don't you we don't have a tape recorder me!"scolded Weiss, who wanted to see the tape recorder.
"But we don't."said Jaune.
"We have a tape recorder box."said Ruby as she pulled out a tape recorder box.
"All right make way you three we're coming in."said Weiss as everyone outside tried to squeeze into the box which luckily was big enough for all of them to fit inside!
"Welcome aboard everyone! You just set sailed on the SS imagination..."said Jaune as he once again created a rainbow with his hands.
"Where our only destination is fantastic adventures! Where do you want to go first?"asked Jaune as the group looked at each other wondering where they wanted to go.
"No, no, no. Don't mind us. We're just here to observe."said Blake as she wanted to see what they were doing to make those noises.
"But Blake, everyone, don't you see. Waiting, watching, that's not what the box is about. It's about... imagination...!"said Jaune who once again created a rainbow with his hands, but Weiss had had about enough of that so she started swatting it around until it disappeared

"No need to be rude, Ice Queen." Yang said.
Weiss simply rolled her eyes.
~
"All right fine! Take me to robot pirate island!"said Weiss with frustration as everyone else agreed.
"I want to arm wrestle with cowboys on the moon! Just do it so I can get back and watch TV!"said Yang who decided to add to the conversation.
"Okay everyone robot pirate island it is!"said Jaune as he, Ruby and Nora close their eyes.
"This is going to be so much fun."said Nora before she begins to focus her imagination.
looked on as they wondered what the group was going to do to start making those noises when something unexpected happened.
"Beep beep beep!"
"Argh!"
"Boop boop boop boop!"
"Ahoy matey!"
"Beep beep!"
"For that you will walk the plank!"
Weiss, Blake,.Yang, Pyrrha ,and Ren couldn't believe it as their friends just had their eyes closed and were making noises a child would make when they're playing imagination, not the complicated and amazing sounds they were making earlier!
"Why won't this thing turn on!"grumbled Weiss as soon as her friends began giggling to each other.
"Alright, fine! If you don't want to show us, I don't care! I have better things to do than pace around on the floor, wondering how you three work this thing!"said Weiss as her group got out of the box and made their way seemingly back to their dorm room.
[one moment later]

No one said anything at this point. Though Weiss was indeed curious on how the alternate versions of Ruby and Jaune were making those sounds.
~
"How do those three work that thing?"asked Pyrrha as she and everyone else began pacing, wondering how the box worked.
"Yeah it doesn't make sense how are they doing those noises if there's no button."said Yang who couldn't understand a thing.
"There has to be a secret button or something?"suggested Blake as this was really starting to get to her.
"Yeah or a switch or something! I mean listen to that!"said Weiss as everyone looked at the box again.
~
"Exactly! There's no way they could make those kinds of sounds without a speaker or something!"
~
The box was once again making noises as the sound of laser fire, swords clashing, and robots beeping could be heard coming from the box as it sounded like the imagination group was on robot pirate island!
"Now that sounds like robot pirate island!"said Weiss as the group tried to think of what they were supposed to do next to figure out the imagination group secret.
"Think, Blake, think! I got it!"said Blake, getting everyone's attention.
"What do you have in mind Blake?"asked Yang.
"When those three go to bed, we'll sneak in there and find that button!"said Blake as everyone sat down.
"Yeah, we will wait all night if we have to!"said Pyrrha.

Everyone turned to the Spartan, who looked away in embarrassment.
Her friends snickered quietly before their gaze turned to them more specifically; Blake.
The cat Faunus copied Pyrrha and looked away in embarrassment. If she had looked back, Blake would've seen her parents giving her amused looks.
~
Hours later the fighting coming from the box ceased as the sounds of pirates cheering and having a good time could be heard along with fireworks popping in the sky!
The group that was not in the Box had literally sat outside next to it for hours waiting for them to leave when finally the group inside the Box open the box to let out a few yarns.
"I need sleep to refuel my imagination tank."said Ruby as she stretched her arms out.
"I still can't believe all those pirates beat those robots."said Nora, who was glad to have joined the SS imagination.

"Man, I wish I could see that." Nora said with a pout on her face.
"Me too." Ruby agreed with the hammer maiden.
~
"Well we better get some sleep since we have a big day tomorrow."said Jaune as all of them headed off to their dorm rooms to get some sleep.
"See you in the morning!"
"Goodnight Ruby!"
Weiss's group meanwhile looked around until they saw the coast was clear, so they snuck back into the box and closed it shut giggling the whole time until they noticed the piece of paper attached to the wall of the box.
"What's that?"asked Blake as Weiss read it out loud.
"This plaque is to commemorate the brave pirates who gave their lives to keep this box safe from the robot menace...lest we forget..."said Weiss, before she began ripping the paper to shreds in frustration.
"Where is that button?"asked Pyrrha as everyone began looking around.
"It's just an ordinary box."said Ren as everyone sat down to think.
~
"Yes, it's just an ordinary box." Ren said with a sigh.
"But how were they making those sounds?" Asked Pyrrha.
Ren was about to speak but didn't. The reason why is because he really didn't have an answer to Pyrrha's question.
~
"Maybe it really was their imagination."suggested Yang as all other possible explanations have been dried up.
"Oh keep it together, Yang. Are you telling me if I pretend that I'm a racecar driver then suddenly I'm going to start...!"said Weiss as she began to pretend like she was driving a race car and starting up the engine when she suddenly heard the engine.
~
"Wait what?" Almost everyone asked. Completely caught off guard by the sudden noise.
~
"Did you guys hear that?"asked Weiss to which everyone out of their heads before they started copying her and they heard the engine as well.
"Wow this really works!"said Blake who couldn't believe that this was actually working.
"Hahahaha, I can't believe it, this beats TV by a mile!"said Yang as everyone started up their engines and pretended that they were in a race car race.
Unknown to them the Box fell off the roof but luckily it slid down a tree branch before it landed next to where Beacon dumps its trash!
Unknown to any of them as they assumed it was their imagination they were being picked up by a garbage truck!
~
Everyone laughed at the unfortunate fate for them. Meanwhile, said people blushed in embarrassment.
~
"Listen to that Zwei. Looks like Weiss and the others finally got the box to work for them."said Ruby as she was hearing the commotion outside while reading a comic book.
"That is so great!"said Ruby before she continued reading as the garbage truck drove away with the box with her friends/sister inside.
Everyone was so preoccupied with playing with imagination that they failed to notice that the garbage truck was making its way to the dump and that it was dumping the Box onto a pile of garbage.
No one noticed anything until they fell out of the box and landed into a pile of pies before the Box fell on top of all of them!
~
"Pfft. Hahahahahahaha!" Nora bursted out laughing, clutching her stomach as she did.
"Hehehehehe!" Ruby joined soon after. The sight of her sister and friends getting buried under a bunch of garbage was hilarious to her.
Adrian laughed at the sight as he clapped to show his amusement. His uncle's friends were funny.
The rest adults either laughed (Qrow, Tai, Jonathan Ghira, Saphron), giggled (Kali, Summer, Willow, An, Angela), or tried to contain their amusement (Glynda, Ozpin, Winter).
The teens whose counterparts were buried under garbage however, felt nothing but embarrassment.

The next day Jaune, Ruby, and Nora walk back to the roof and find that the box was not there.
"Hey, our box is gone."said Jaune with disappointment.
"Oh well..."said Ruby.
"I know let's go see the others and see if they want to play a game."suggested Nora as they walk back into the dorms to try to find their teammates/friends.
"I hope they're not too down in the dumps today."said Ruby, not knowing the irony of her words…
~
The screen turned off and the lights turned on. Allowing the audience a chance to stretch out their limbs.
Arcanus then reappeared in a flash of light. "We will be taking a brief intermission, just so you could catch your breath and unwind for a bit. The exit is just right over." The scribe said as he gestured to the door that magically appeared. With that, Arcanus disappeared again.
The audience looked at one another before getting up and heading towards the exit.
ELSEWHERE
Arcanus appeared at a training room in a flash of light. He looked around to see dozens of destroyed training robots. All of them were covered in slash marks and stab wounds(?)
In the middle of the room the scribe spotted a male figure sitting down, catching his breath. A sword was held in his right hand while a shield was holstered to his left arm.
The scribe approached the figure until he was close enough.
The male looked up and stared at the scribe with his bright blue eyes.
"Why don't you take a break, eh Jaune?" Arcanus spoke in a kind tone.
Jaune Arc simply nodded as he got up and sheathed Corcea Mors.
