Hello, it is time for Ruby's turn.

Initially, I wanted to do Shirou V Archer, but the more I thought about it the less I felt like it fit Ruby. Honestly, after thinking about it more, I feel she fits more as the female MC from Fate Grand Order. That said, I had to take some time to decide what I could use to fit her request to be a hero and I ended up with this one so I hope you all enjoy it.

Ruby bounced in her seat excitedly "So what can you tell us about this one!" she shouted causing her teammates to roll their eyes playfully.
Fox smiled "Not much, unfortunately, but that's the point of watching these. It wouldn't be nearly as interesting if I told you everything now would it?" Ruby pouted causing her sister to laugh "What I can say, is that you are trying to protect a civil rights activist in this one"
"Why am I not surprised?" Blake asked smiling softly at her leader who giggled.
"Ghira! Ghira! Ghira!" A crowd chanted as Ruby quietly pushed her way forward so that she could see the speaker. She was wearing a red and black jumpsuit with an odd-looking device strapped to her chest and a pair of snow goggles covering her eyes.
"Dad?" Blake wondered as her father stepped into view wearing the ceremonial robes of Menagerie
Glynda hummed "I suppose this is during the peaceful days of the White Fang then" she mused aloud "Mr. Belladonna always was a great speaker, too bad no one of importance ever gave him their attention."
Ghira looked around softly, seeing some mixed-race couples in the crowd confirming his hopes that true equality WAS possible "Humans, Faunus, we are all one within the Iris" he opened with a mantra of his religious practice causing the crowd to roar their support. Waiting for the cheering to quiet he smiled gently before continuing. "Before me, I see the future!" he declared passionately "Humans and Faunus standing together, united by compassion."
Ruby wanted to focus on his speed but was distracted when she saw one of the security guards listening intently to their communications before jerking his attention to the rooftops. Ruby narrowed her eyes before deciding to investigate it herself slightly sullen that she would not get to listen to more of the speech which drew another cheer as she exited the crowd.
"That's not good" Pyrrha muttered worried for Ghira, as the obvious activist in need of protection.
"Don't worry Ruby's got this!" Jaune stated confidently causing both Pyrrha and Ruby to smile brightly.
On the rooftops, a spider faunus wearing a purple body suit used her grapple hook to distract a police officer before charging in and throwing him down before using the butt of her sniper rifle to knock him out. Leaving the hook attached to the wall she wrapped the cord around her ankle before jumping off the ledge allowing her an angle on Ghria through an apartment window.
"That's Trifa" Blake muttered starting to get nervous at how professional this version of Trifa was. "The girl Adam thought would have been a better choice for Muffet in the musical last time.
"Is she that hot in real life?" Yang asked seriously
"YANG!"
"What? you can't tell me that she's not attractive here!"
"She's trying to kill my dad!"
"You know that none of this reflects on the versions of us here in this world right?" Weiss pointed out taking a middle-ground approach. "I doubt the Trifa you know wants to kill your father."
Blake took a deep breath. "Right, you're right... it's just hard not to react when they look so similar." she sighed "Trifa could look like that, but she wasn't the best at taking care of herself last I remember."
"We'll have to come up with an exercise routine for her then. It's a shame if she can't reach her potential"
Raven leaned towards Qrow "Was Yang always this thirsty?"
"Teenagers" Qrow shrugged "She'll grow out of it"
The assassin waited patiently as her weapon charged up before noticing red blurs darting around in her periphery optics. Looking away from her scope she frowned in annoyance when Ruby appeared above her, twin pulse pistols in hand. With a whoop, she opened fire on the assassin forcing her to switch her rifle into an SMG format before unwinding her grapple allowing her to drop out of the line of fire before rappelling into a window a floor below.
Once she was on her feet she glared as Ruby landed on a balcony across from her. "Trying to crash another party love?" she asked before blinking forward trying to chase down the spider. With practiced ease the assassin shot her grappling hook up and simultaneously kicked Ruby in the jaw sending her sprawling as she began her ascent.
To her credit, Ruby recovered quickly as she began chasing her up the stairs using her blink ability to dodge the hail of gunfire before making it to the roof where she quickly had to duck behind cover as the assassin opened fire on the doorway. Covering her head in case the brickwork was damaged. Ruby opened communications with the security team having secured their communications frequency on her way to intercept the sniper. "Ghria is in danger! Shooter on the roof! I repeat shooter on the roof!" She didn't wait for confirmation letting the gunfire be its proof of the seriousness of the situation.
"So..." Ruby began noting a difference between her speed and the speed of the version on the screen. "Is it me or does my speed look weird?"
Ren nodded his head "She's going from one spot to the next in a blink of an eye rather than moving fluidly like you do." he explained.
"It's like a short-range teleport you see in video games," Nora noted with a starry-eyed expression. "That's so cool!"
Trifa remained expressionless as she made her way to the roof's edge. Once there she stopped firing and jumped allowing Ruby to swing from her cover guns up only to blink when she didn't see her opponent. Across the street, Trifa swung over a pair of cops before landing on the closest one and sweeping the legs out from under the second as she moved quickly to avoid gunfire. leaping over a small gap she landed on the shoulders of a third cop before gunning down the fourth vaulting forward she eliminated the third before switching her gun into its rifle form and gunning down the fifth and sixth. Turning she activated her goggles and checked her target's location.
"Not bad" Raven mused, slightly impressed "Quick and efficient."
"Too bad she's trying to take out someone trying to peacefully end conflict" Qrow added as he took a swig of his flask.
Smirking as she noted Ruby closing in she dashed off as Ruby gave chase. jumping a gap, the spider used the brief break in visual contact to plant a mine as she ran past a chimney. None the wiser Ruby quickly jumped the gap as well only to get a face full of poisonous gas causing her to lose concentration and tumble along the ground.
"Rubes!" Yang called out suddenly worried
"Yeah?" Ruby asked confused. "What's up, Yang?"
Yang blinked before sitting down and placing a hand over her heart "Right... sorry"
"Not easy to see right?" Blake asked a half smile playing across her lips.
"Shut up" Blake couldn't hide the giggle as Yang grumbled.
As Ruby coughed she felt a boot on her shoulder as the assassin held the barrel of her rifle to Ruby's head "Such a sweet, foolish girl" the assassin mocked with a notable accent.
Rather than respond Ruby activated another feature of her device rewinding her own time to just before she finished crossing the gap. Using her blink she went above the gas cloud and shot the vent next to Trifa causing a cloud of steam to erupt. pulling a pulse bomb out she tossed it at Trifa but the assassin was quicker on the draw and shot the explosive mid-flight causing it to explode and knock Ruby off the roof.
When Ruby opened her eyes she saw Trifa in the air aiming at her with her rifle. She saw the sniper pulling the trigger and activated her rewind on instinct. "Wh..what?" Ruby muttered once she was on the roof when Trifa landed across from her as she patted herself down only half aware of what just happened.
Trifa smirked as she shouldered her rifle. "Looks like the party is over" Ruby looked like she didn't understand until her eyes widened as she ran to the edge and looked down.
"No, no, no!" she despaired seeing Ghira's dead body lying across the back seat of his armored limousine having been about to enter it before the shot Trifa had taken put a hole in his forehead.
Blake wilted in her seat seeing her father dead on-screen "Not easy to see." she muttered looking away as Yang pulled her into a one-armed hug. "Thanks, Yang"
"No problem" the brawler muttered with a small smile "I guess even heroes lose sometimes"
"Life isn't a fairytale" Blake agreed.
"You can do everything right and still lose" Salem muttered softly recalling the events of her own life.
Ruby glared as she tackled Trifa "Why would you do this?" she screamed only for the assassin to laugh at her. Ruby was distracted by an armored bullhead appearing behind her allowing Trifa to pull her head down to whisper in her ear
"For the thrill" before throwing them both over the ledge. Using the grapple she had shot off during Ruby's tackle she slammed the younger girl into the wall damaging her equipment and knocking her out before ascending and leaving the area with her allies.
"I lost?" Ruby screamed in horror "How did I lose to the sniper?" she pulled out a crescent rose and began to unfurl it but Glynda stopped her by pulling it out of her grasp with her semblance.
"Miss Rose..." she warned with a glare.
"Right... Sorry professor Goodwitch" Ruby had the decency to look bashful as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Experience, girl" Salem explained succinctly
Qrow nodded his head "I can't believe I'm agreeing with Salem" he whispered under his breath before speaking "Simply put, you got played Ruby" he started causing his niece to turn towards him. "That Trifa girl simply adapted to the situation faster than you did, when you set off the steam vent you should've just tackled her rather than try and use an explosive. the explosion probably caught everyone's attention slowing down the VIP's extraction. You lost track of the goal. It shouldn't have been to catch her, but simply stop her from completing her goal."
"So you're saying that if Trifa got away but my dad survived, that would've been mission success?" Blake questioned curious about the veteran Huntsman's outlook on things.
"Yup, He can do more for the world than taking a killer off the street would," Qrow explained simply. "You also have to look at what his death would cause. Will it raise tensions between the two groups? Will the war hawks use it as an example that peace cannot be obtained? You lose a voice like that, only two things can happen. Either we lose all the progress that person obtained, or they become a martyr, and their words become immortalized" he took a long pull from his flask "And I'm not willing to bet on the positive outcome"
"Who are you and what have you done with my brother?" Raven asked leaning away from him.
"Oh shut up, I've had a lot of time to think about this shit"
"Anyways, who's next?" Jaune cut in before the two siblings could get into another fight.
"Weiss' turn next!" Ruby called out immediately causing Weiss to sputter at suddenly being put on the spot.
Fox coughed into their hand catching everyone's attention. "Weiss, if you don't mind, my creator would like to share a few musical numbers with you all. Would you like a bit more time to pick out what you want?"
Weiss nodded her head "Yes please, I think that would be lovely"

Alright, for the next chapter, I wanted to do some Hazbin Hotel songs. I will only pick one song from each episode, and no those are not up for debate. What is up for debate however is which RWBY characters will represent which Hazbin characters.
because of the number of characters they do not need to be in the audience to be selected.
As a little spoiler, Fox will be asking the audience for "Volunteers" for each character so don't worry about them being too different from who they're representing.
