The Witch, the Dark Angel and Draco
Inside Hermione's womb, the babe smiled, he was magical, he could already communicate with his mother, face it, he was a Malfoy, twice over, and knowing what nobody else knew, made him smile wider.
He'd been made for a reason. The house had made it happen, knowing his powers would save the Malfoy's future. Scorpio closed his eyes, he loved his daddies and his mommy and already knew it; this was the only way, his doing, wasn't it? He was made knowing the only way to save the magical world. In the end, it would all blend, for everyone. It was already working. He fell asleep, happy to be inside his mommy. He couldn't wait to be in her arms, but he wanted his two daddies with him.
Changes
In a couple of days, the committees were in full force, to many's surprise, the Unspeakables now directed by Bill Weasley, had 'rescued' Sirius Black from the veil. How, many wanted to know, but Bill was tight-lipped. The story was that someone had left him asleep in an in-between. Sirius remembered nothing, only Lucius looking at him. But he recalled something very important about his wicked cousins. Though, Sirius would only tell Lucius, he would investigate until he saw him. So, Sirius sent a message thru Blaise that he urgently wanted to talk to Lucius. Meanwhile, George Weasley was helping him, and their eyes were open.
They now knew Lucius had taken Hermione and married her. But they suspected he had erased some of her memories. Regardless, they were full of hope, maybe she was influencing him. Arthur found out the room next to her office suite was for the baby, and there were two offices, one with her name and one with Draco's. Now, everyone knew something good was happening.
Many old regime purists, called the new initiatives an inquisition, while numbers that were able to leave bad marriages, were turning away from the new Death Eaters movement, embracing the change with their new spouses, learning what Lucius had.
The more resistant were those like Astoria who could care less about love. Astoria had stayed in England after she was told to leave. She had been trying to see Greg, whose attraction for her wasn't as big as his fear of Lucius. He now lived in fear of what Lucius would do if were to find out how he had spied on him and reported to Astoria, how ill-informed he had been. He had done the same with Draco, finding all he could, only because he hated Granger. Ne, he wondered if he had contributed to his best friend's disappearance. Perhaps, he had. He was distressed and fraught with anxiety, who could he trust? He thought of someone; he would try. It turned out it was a timely decision.
Astoria still had a charm to bypass the wards at Greg's home. She came in at night and started undressing. Greg pushed her away, "No, you cannot contact me anymore. Should you come again, you will regret it." Astoria liked Greg better than Draco; Greg now looked like his father and had changed a lot. Moreover, he was a great lover, her sister was right. Yes, she had stolen her sister's lover, so what? Astoria wanted to keep him and had decided Greg was hers. Astoria did what Astoria wanted.
"I will tell Lucius how you told me about his trysts. It was useful information; you don't know how much." She smiled nastily.
"He knows, he told me the day he sent you away, and what would happen to me. He said if he found out you were involved in a nasty incident, your life was forfeited. You are a nasty witch; daily, I regret being with you; I am ill whenever I think about it. I was an idiot for several reasons, first, because your sister is the best; second, because Granger is much better than you, and the most important one, because I want your sister back; that stands as my greatest wish. Daphne was right about everything, including Granger, and I have realized I love her and want her to be my wife." Greg meant it, though his wand was too far from him when he saw her pulling her wand.
"In case you have any ideas, don't even try," his older brother/father, Francois entered the room.
"Mrs. Malfoy, please leave. Your visit has been recorded and sent to Mr. Zabini and Mr. Knott. Greg is not alone; you should know I protect my family. I heard you. So, you leave this family alone, and don't try your weak magic on us. Leave for the continent as you were ordered; do it because nmany eyes are on you. Mr. Malfoy will be duly informed since he told us you were to leave to the Continent; and I value my life. He will find out. And how did you break in here?"
Astoria eyes were blazing with anger and didn't answer. When she went home, his cousins waited for her. One of them angered. "You told me Greg was a sure thing, and why is Francis getting involved?"
"The idiot says he loves my sister, the insipid witch. She is not even pretty, wearing specs. Francis is afraid of Lucius, who suspects me." Astoria's voice was hard and mean. Daphne Greengrass, who was in love with Greg, overheard them and hid to listen. She needed to tell someone, they had said maybe Francis was with the rebels, and he needed to die if he were.
In the morning time, Daphne was able to get away. The cousins were keeping an eye on her since Astoria had said Daphne wasn't to be trusted, but they left. She went to see Blaise, who ran to get help, knowing there was a meeting at the MoM.
He was right, a meeting was ongoing at a room at the MoM. The attendees wore shrouds over their faces.
One asked, "What went wrong? It was all going well. I told you that the witch had to die." The one talking, sounded odd. "I know there are cells from other Magical communities hoping to bring Lucius down and are waiting for the rebels to make a move. Though, I think they are waiting for the witch to start a revolution; thus, she should be dead."
"How?" Another spoke, "We tried, but she was too careful. All the ones around her wouldn't let anyone get close to her. Have you seen the giant Bulgarians? Some said Greyback and his people are also helping. The witch wants to make all magical beings equal, absurd. But why? Now that Lucius married her, and his mind is poisoned, he is changing everything. It happened because Draco had to fall for her. It is a good thing you told us, thanks." The one said to the one next to him. They were all using voice modifiers.
One stood up, "I am out. Don't think of killing me. The moment I die, Lucius will know. I see the changes, and for once I can see that the tide is against us. Lucius will not show any mercy. I know him well enough."
The hands of the other meeting attendees went to their wands. Francis Goyle was going to die.
When someone knocked at the door, they apparated away. There were several wizards and witches at the door; there were several Aurors, the Weasley, and others. Greg saw them and ran by the meeting room, after hearing the ones inside were going to kill Francis. If so, he knew who had talked about his father/brother. She was going to pay, with her life.
After a brief respite, the door opened. "Thanks for coming so soon. Daphne was right, they were going to kill me if I said something. My luck was about to run out. They were shrouded, as always, but this time we might have something. I need to remember. Let's go." Francis Goyle was pale and shaken. Greg went to him and held him, both were shaking.
"Astoria has to go. It was her; I know, she is still here after Lucius ordered her to leave. She is dangerous." Greg explained, he wanted to do whatever Francis wanted.
The Aurors, accompanied by Greg, went to the Greengrass to arrest her and her cousins. Daphne came with Blaise and Theo. When Astoria was taken away, screaming and threatening everyone, Daohne went to Greg.
"Daphne, come to our home; it might not be safe for you here," Greg asked her, offering his hand. "Let's go, my father will like it, but not as much as I will. You were right about everything, I told her so."
Daphne took his hand, smiling, and Blaise and Theo smiled too. This was good news for everyone.
When the rebel group met later. Francis Goyle thanked them, grateful to have been rescued, though he was still upset at Greg. He had told the enemy about Draco and Hermione thinking he was just gossiping, but still. At least Greg was contrite. Though today, something had called his attention, "One of the shrouded, what? Yes, I know, one wore gloves. Only Lucius does, but why would you wear gloves? To hide something about yourself. Either that you were a woman with smaller hands or that there was something distinctive about them to our side."
George said, "I know why."
"I noticed one wore gloves, why?" Francis wanted to know.
"Maybe Pettigrew didn't die and hid for a while. His boss ordered him to do so. He is missing a finger."
Sirius had also guessed, "If he is alive, I will strangle him."
"Yes, I thought that, or because it is a woman. We have talked and think Narcissa faked her death. Maybe she figured a way to bring her evil sister back." George argued.
"She must be alive; she was the only one who knew about Draco's clothes. But why did she kidnap him?" Blaise asked.
"Maybe for nefarious purposes, or to keep him away from Hermione. He was bringing too many to our side." George reasoned.
The Island
They had been there for a few weeks and sat on the veranda drinking iced tea, both wearing,
light linen clothes.
Lucius was busy licking her fingers, when she pulled away from him.
"Catch me!" Hermione stood up before he could react and ran toward the beach, dropping her clothes on the way. He was still new at the spontaneity business, and it took him a bit. He was mesmerized with her body, until he finally reacted and ran to get her, although heavy with child, she could run.
She was near the water when she 'heard' Draco's voice. Why was Draco calling? She could hear him.
She stopped and called, "Draco, my love, where are you?"
Lucius stopped and looked around. Draco, he was so happy that didn't think of the implications. And asked, "Where?" They had yet to talk about him.
She looked at him, "Draco is gone as you know, but I heard him."
Lucius thought maybe they had a mental bond; hope bloomed. He realized that he would share her with his son, and he would do it. The ideas of seeing them together made him lust crazy. They would need to talk away from her.
"Where is he? My love, where is Draco?" Lucius asked.
"Not sure, maybe he is near. But what will he say when he finds out we are married? Though he wanted me to be with you." She blushed.
He smiled, "Yes, I know, Draco will be happy, because this way we could all be together," he had to talk to Draco right when he was back.
"Hermione, my love, can you hear me?" She heard Draco.
Lucius saw her face, "Again?"
She nodded, "Wait.''
"It was…"static, "I am held by..."static, "and mother…not help." More static."Tell father…caves…"
"In the caves, he says that you know." Hermione's eyes shone.
"Caves?" He didn't ask again. He was beyond happy, his Draco, his son, he wanted to dance.
Scorpio smiled; he knew. It would happen soon; he'd been made special. He could see forwards in time, and much more; he had influenced his other daddy.
"C'mon darling. We to check the library. I knew it, it is about Narcissa. And I need to talk to someone." He needed to ask Sirius to come, today."
"No, I want you to chase me first." She wanted to run, she was happy, so he laughed and chased her, and the crazy dog of hers ran with them. A present from Harry, Camellia, a magical dog, a pup from the underworld.
Sirius had visited Harry daily, when not working on identifying 'love' bonds, the Bulgarians were helping find what was keeping Harry and Viktor perpetually asleep. He had a few ideas, but he needed to talk to Lucius first. He sat with Harry when Blaise came. "It is a mess; Francis was nearly killed. Astoria, Draco's wife was still here. Lucius needs you; go to Malloy Manor, one of the Manor employees is waiting for you. Go now."
Sirius sighed relieved, he had four things he wanted to do, get Harry back; talk to Lucius; see Hermione, and travel to the Baltic Sea. He was going to claim his bride and his daughter, and Lucius could help.
At the Island
Hermione greeted Sirius, she held him and cried. "Lucius told me he had finally been able to get you out."
He laughed seeing her hump, "A baby? How wonderful, I heard the baby is Draco's," he waggled his eyebrows, and she blushed.
"No need, my bride is also a former enemy, Dolohov's daughter and I have a daughter I never met." They both laughed, and they talked about Harry.
Lucius came, "Let's talk, I want Hermione to hear."
They sat on the veranda, and Sirius said, "Lucky you. But it is urgent we talk. You need to know of my wicked cousins' pact and that Francis Goyle nearly was killed earlier today. Astoria never left and is is part of the movement against you. Greg rejected her, and she tried hurt him."
Lucius exhaled, "Astoria cannot stay around. She is a danger to Hermione and to me."
Hermione grinned, "Let's think. She is a criminal and must be punished. We can decide what to do with her and others like her. I am glad Greg is listening. But let's hear Sirius first."
Hearing Sirius, they knew what they needed to do. Scorpio agreed, the house had worked through him since the day he was made. Soon all with be well, even if some had to be gone.
