Issei felt himself get sucked into some kind of void and sees nothing but black and red fire around him.

"Hey! Where the hell am I?!" Issei demands.

"Calm yourself kid." Issei looks around, having heard the booming voice. "Relax, I mean you no harm, young one. However, if you are to save the girl, Argento, you must listen."

"Who are you?" Issei asks afraid.

"(Sigh) When the time comes I will reveal myself. But, to save the young girl, you must allow me to help you to increase your power."

Issei continues to look around the black void for the source of the voice. "How?" Issei then looks down and sees the red fire surround him and comes towards him into his heart.

"You will be the strongest and most powerful being in all of heaven or hell...my son."

Raynare held the two rings in her hands with greed. "Yes, I've been lusting after this power for years! Those miserable hearts are at the palm of my hand. Perfect." Raynare then merges the rings into her chest and becomes surrounded in green aura.

Raynare then looks back at Kiba, Koneko, and Issei, who was looking down with his eyes shut. "I'll be beloved. I'll be the most powerful Fallen Angel there is. All those pricks who screwed me over are going to regret it!"

"Regret?" Issei says.

Kiba and Koneko look at Issei in shock.

"The only thing regrettable here is the fact that you chose to mess with me, you black-hearted witch!"

The red gems and highlights on Issei's gauntlets and wings glowed as he spoke.

Issei opened his eyes, revealing that his blue eyes had turned black and red again.

The men in the chamber all charged at Issei, but he clenched his fist making them all fall to their knees.

"Death Dragon Corruption." Issei says simply. All the men scream in agony as purple veins crawl up their skin. Finally they all fell to the ground and their bodies were reduced to ash, leaving nothing but their robes.

Raynare took a step back in shock but merely laughed. "That's supposed to frighten me?"

"Kiba Yuuto and Koneko Toujou look after young Argento, the Fallen bitch must die."

Kiba and Koneko nod and run up to the cross as Raynare flies away. Issei shoots after her and knocks her into the church hall where they fought Freed.

Raynare coughs as Issei descends in front of her. Raynare forms a spear and tries to strike him but Issei merely blocks her attack and backhands her to the ground, leaving a large cut across her cheek.

Raynare laughs. "You've got guts little boy, but I have Twilight Healing! I can heal any injury!" Raynare puts her hand on her cheek to heal the cut but nothing happens. "Wh-What?! Impossible!"

Issei just grins as he then grabs her by the throat. "Did I forget to mention? I am your demise. Your downfall. Your death! It doesn't matter what powers you possess. Nothing can heal MY attacks."

Issei knees her in the gut and throws her though several benches. Raynare groans and grits her teeth. "How is this possible? I have the supreme power!"

Issei gives out a large, dark laugh. "Power?! Power is standing before you Raynare! I am the Black Dragon Emperor! The rival and equal to the Dragon of Dreams, Great Red himself!"

Raynare immediately shuddered at that last part. ~GREAT RED?!~

Raynare screams and shoots away to escape, but Issei just teleports in front of her and crosses his arms. "You're not leaving here alive in any way."

Issei then smacks her to the ground, leaving her in the center of a large crater in the ground. Raynare coughs blood as Issei descends.

Kiba and Koneko show up along with Rias. Kiba had Asia in his arms.

"You took her down all by yourself. I'm impressed." Rias admits. Issei retracts his wings and deactivates his gauntlets.

Issei then turns to her. "It's what happens when people piss me off."

Rias then approaches Raynare. "You must be Raynare. I am Rias Gremory, also known as the next head of the House of Gremory."

"Gremory? You gotta be kidding!" Raynare gasps.

"It's wonderful to meet you. What a shame we don't have time to chat. But sadly..." Rias then drops three Fallen Angel feathers on the ground. "It's time for you to join your friends I disposed of earlier. They were rather rude to me. And especially to Issei."

"Rias's fuse is long, but when pushed she lives up to her title as Empress of Annihilation." Kiba states.

Issei whistles in amazement.

"Why would heiress of Gremory dare such a thing?" Raynare demands.

Rias crosses her arms. "Well, after Dohnaseek attacked Issei, I discovered multiple Fallen Angels had planned to attack this town. Normally I would've stayed out of it, but you seemed insistent on targeting my team."

Issei then walks up to Raynare and growls. "Now, back to business, time to show you what happens when you mess with my brother and my new friends."

"Issei, please." Yuuma begs. "I'm sorry. I know I did some mean things to you and Jack, but I didn't have a choice. I had to fulfill my role as a Fallen Angel."

Issei then looks down at her. "You are the most cowardly and shameless woman a guy could ever meet. Have fun being obliviated."

Issei then activates his right gauntlet. "I'll take those." Asia's healing rings then depart from Raynare and Issei clutches them in his left hand. He raise his right and says, "Death Dragon Erase."

Black mist then surrounds Raynare and she screams at the top of her lungs as the mist consumed her and she disappeared from existence.

Issei sighs as he walks up to Kiba and takes Asia from him. He sets her lifeless body on a bench and closes his eyes. "I'm so sorry. To all of you. I tried to be strong, I tried to save her, and then I failed. I failed you, Rias, to listen and be your servant, I failed Jack to bring Asia back after I promised, and I failed Asia to save her."

Rias kneels down and hugs Issei from behind. "None of this is your fault, Issei. You failed no one. Least of all me."

Issei puts his hand on Rias's arm. "Doesn't change the fact that now she's gone. And it's all because of me."

Rias kisses his cheek. "Stop talking like that. Look."

Issei then sees her pull out a chess piece. "What's a chess piece gonna do?"

"A lot actually." Akeno says as she appears from a magic circle. "That one is called the bishop."

Issei gets to his feet. "I don't follow."

"The bishop's position is protect and heal the other devils in the household." Rias explains. "Perhaps the timing is perfect. We could use a good clergyman."

Rias then puts the piece on Asia's chest. "In the name of Rias Gremory, I call to Asia Argento, hear my command. Return thy soul from shadows of death to the human realm. Rise once more as my demon servant. Rejoice for you have been given new life!"

Issei watches in shock as the piece dissolves into Asia's chest. Asia glows red and then blinks her eyes. "Where am I? Issei?"

Issei kneels beside her and puts his hand on her shoulder. "It's okay. Your safe now. Welcome to our family Asia."

Issei sat in the club room with Charn, playing his guitar, until Rias entered.

"Good morning." Rias says cheerily. "Sleep well?"

Issei nods.

"Oh, and how are Jack and Asia doing?"

"They're doing great." Issei replies. "Jack's never been more happier in his life. I'm glad he has a friend like Asia."

Rias then raises an eyebrow. "So, what's bothering you?"

Issei sighs. "It's nothing."

Rias then takes a seat next to him. "Issei, please. Talk to me."

Issei puts his guitar down and leans back against the couch. "It's nothing, really. I promise. But, there is something I've been wondering about."

"Ask away." Rias pleads.

"If we're all based off of chess pieces, does that mean all the positions are represented?"

Rias nods. "It does."

Issei exhales. "Guess that means me and Jack got six more douchenozzles to put up with. I mean I'm not insecure about it or anything, you're the King, you choose your pieces."

Rias just smiles and puts her hand on his cheek. "You and Jack are all the pawns I'll ever need, Issei."

Issei feels himself flush. "Uh, sweet."

"When I knew that I wanted to bring you and your brother back as my servants, I used four on you and four on Jack."

Issei widens his eyes. ~Four pieces each? Geez...~

"Now that I know you and Jack posses two of the Longinus, I'd say I made a good choice." Rias continues. "The Crimson-Haired Princes of Ruin and the Black Dragon Emperor of Death. I don't think we could be more perfectly matched."

Issei chuckles. "Well, black and red always were my favorite color combination."

Rias smiles again and kisses his forehead. "Now, that ought to strengthen you even more."

Issei blushes twice as much as before and touches his head.

Charn wags his tail and hops on the couch between them, licking Rias.

"Charn! I thought we talked about this!" Issei snaps. Rias just giggles more as she hugs the black and red wolf, scratching his ears.

Suddenly Issei then felt himself get enveloped in another pair of arms. "Sorry Rias, but I think it's about time I had my turn with Issei."

Issei looks behind him and sees Akeno holding him close to her chest.

Rias then stands. "I don't think so."

"Oh, really?" Akeno taunts.

~Well, guess this isn't my life now.~ Issei thinks as he backs away from the two devil beauties, about to duke it out.
