This is a story that I wanted to do for quite a while now. Nothing big, just my version of what I wanna see happen in season 6. It picks up where Watershed left off. Rated T for later chapters.

Castle meets Beckett on his first day of Year 1

Post-ep for 6x04. Beckett voices her disapproval about Emma being Castle's supposed "number one fan" as she helps tend to the bruise from the shooting. One-shot.

He wakes to the sound of her voice again, twice in as many days and a lifetime hereafter that he's more than okay with. The light tippy-tappy movement of her fingers brush out over his cheeks and though he feigns sleeps just a little while longer he can't help the smile that creeps out across his face. This is AU. After watching Countdown a few times I realized that Castle and Beckett did have a way out of the freezer without help fron Ryspo. This is about that. After a long and successful life and career, Kate Beckett dies peacefully in her sleep. She is laid to rest next to her husband, Richard Castle. Her children and grand-children remember them at the poker table.

When Castle and Beckett go out on a date, they aren't alone as they think. Season Five, taking place before Still.

She's not sure why seven minutes, why she even limits herself with time frames and boundaries with him when they have already agreed on a lifetime together.

When Kate and Rick get trapped in the elevator, and Kate spills a deep dark secret, will Castle really be able to let it go or will it tear them apart? And if things do sort themselves out, what impact will events have on their relationship when Kate gets a new partner? Rated T for later, and possibly M, haven't decided yet.
