PART: 2
Ok, I'm writing this as fast as I can, so I don't know if I have any reviews yet, but, enjoy the second part.
Gryffindor Dormitory - Boy's
A pair of blue eyes open full of fire. Naruto, wearing a fedora in bed, threw the covers off himself, dressed in an old brown suit mimicking Sherlock Holmes. Naruto pulled out a white candy stick before putting it into his mouth, imagining it as a cigarette that he saw the detectives have in those muggle shows.
"The investigation… is on..!" Naruto said and rolled out of bed, leaving a tray of food for Gama-chan, he dramatically tip-toed out of the dormitory, shut the door quietly. A few seconds later, the blonde wannabe-investigator came back into the room and used Accio on his walkman and headset, grabbing them, he left.
Outside the door, he pulled the mixtape out, reading "MIX VOL 5" turning it over and reading "MIX VOL 6" and playing the first song, Naruto bobbed his head to the beat of the drum.
Naruto ran toward the staircase, Naruto sat on the handrail of the circular stairwell, and slid on it. Jumping off and landing on one knee, he did circular motion on the ground, imagining he picked something up. Bringing it to his nose, he sniffed it.
"It came from the north." Looking up, he made a break for it to the common room door and realized that it was way too early for this shit, and deciding to just think for a minute, he sat on the table in the room. A piece of paper and a quill appeared from his cloak and he dipped the quill in ink before laying it on the page.
"Hogwarts… mysteries." Naruto wrote down, bobbing his head more.
"Welcome to your life… there's no turning back.. Da da da da daaa.." Naruto sang. He took a swig from his cup of tea and slammed it down in detective fashion. "Dammit! They got away…" Naruto said.
"Who got away?" A voice said from the stairwell leading up to the girls and boys dormitories. Turning to the voice, he saw Hermione dressed in her pajamas, rubbing her tired eyes.
"Oh, morning. No one, I'm just doing an investigation." Naruto said and beckoned Hermione closer.
"Of?"
"The petrification of Mrs. Norris." Naruto said, Hermione came closer.
"How far are you?" The smart girl, Naruto, waved his hand on all the work, not a lot, just the title.
"Not far. But it's going pretty good." Naruto said and scratched his head. "The questions are, who were seen at dinner yesterday?" Said Naruto, he looked at Hermione.
"What?"
"Well? I wasn't there, I don't know any petrifying spells. So, did you see any people missing?" Naruto asked the bookworm who nodded.
"Well, Harry wasn't there, and that's all I couldn't see." Hermione said.
"Ok, well, here's my theory. The petrification happened after our last class. And whilst we were making our way to the Great Hall for dinner, someone snuck back, petrified Mrs. Norris wrote that message on the wall." Naruto said.
"Interesting theory, but we all went the same way." Hermione said.
"Maybe not all of us." Naruto said, he then went to think. 'Who was there, and who wasn't?!'
Naruto's eyes went a pale blue shade before he threw his head back, speaking in that weird language, Hermione was freaking out, Naruto looked as though he was convulsing and she didn't know what to do.
Naruto's mind
Naruto said a bunch of images.
A spider, snake symbol on a tape, a bathroom, a door with several snakes being circled by another, then he saw the stone face of an old man that looked vaguely familiar. Naruto saw a book with the initials "T.M.R" with a giant hole in the center and a redhead lying face down on the wet floor.
Reality
The blonde came back, and he quickly grabbed the quill, writing down what he saw.
"Spider… snake symbol… snake door, bathroom… diary! Statue… red hair." Naruto finished and sighed. Looking at Hermione, he gave her the paper. "Does this mean anything to you?" The blonde asked curiously.
"A spider, snake, door, bathroom, book, statue and red hair… No, I haven't got the foggiest on what these mean."
Naruto took the paper back and grumbled. "I assumed much."
First Class - Transfiguration Charm Class
"Could I have your attention, please?" Once she got the people's attention she continued. "Right. Now, today, we will be transforming animals into water goblets. Like so." She said and gained the students eyes, she turned to a bird resting on a post to her right, tapping it with her wand as she spoke. "One, two, three, Vera Verto." A stream of magic emits from her wand, and the bird becomes a goblet; the other students express amazement.
"Now it's your turn. Who would like to go first?" McGonagall asked, as she looked at Ron and Naruto, she picked Ron.
"Ah! Mr. Weasley. One, two, three, Vera Verto."
Ron coughs to muster up the courage, silently tapped his wand towards Scabbers three times and said the spell. "Vera Verto!" His wand causes Scabbers to turn into a furry goblet with his tail moving around while squeaking; Harry and some of the other students grin and laugh.
"That wand needs replacing, Mr. Weasley." McGonagall said, Naruto and Hermione raised their hands.
"Yes, Ms. Granger?" Minerva picked, Naruto took his fedora off and hit the table with it in anger at not getting picked.
"I was wondering if you could tell us about the Chamber of Secrets?" Hermione said hesitantly. Naruto grumbled, that was his question. Draco looked at Hermione with surprise, and then looked at the teacher questioningly.
"Very well." McGonagall took off her glasses. "Well, you all know, of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Now three of the founders coexisted quite harmoniously. One did not." She said, Ron smirked and nudged Harry and Naruto.
"Three guesses who."
Minerva shushed him.
"Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words, pure-bloods." She said and Hermione and Draco both exchanged looks at one another.
"Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school. Now, according to legend, Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in this castle, known as the Chamber of Secrets." McGonagall said, Naruto turned over his shoulder and stared at Draco, who was sporting a plaster on his nose like Marcus Flint.
"Well, shortly before departing, he sealed it, until that time when his own true heir returned to the school. The Heir alone would be able to open the Chamber, and unleash the horror within, and by so doing, purge the school of all those who, in Slytherin's view, were unworthy to study magic." Minerva said with a fearful shudder.
"Muggle-borns." Hermione said, Minerva pointed his wand at the girl in an affirmative gesture.
"Well, naturally the school has been searched many times. No such Chamber has been found." Minerva said with sigh, maybe if it were found, they could possibly study in a safer environment knowing the school isn't being pursued by a beast.
"Professor." Hermione said, and before she could say, Naruto beat her to it.
"What's actually in the chamber? Like, what's the thing that lives in it?" Naruto asked and stood from his desk and started doing a victory dance in Hermione's face. "Suck it bookworm!" Naruto laughed, he was suddenly turned into a fox, courtesy of Minerva.
"Please, Mr. Naruto, if you're going to ask questions, raise your hand." Minerva said and used her wand to place him back on his chair and canceled the spell that kept him bound to that fox body.
"Back to your question: Well, the Chamber is said to be home to something that only the Heir of Slytherin can control. It is said to be the home of a monster."
Naruto feels eyes on the back of his head, and he turns to see Draco smirking at him. Naruto slid his finger over his throat, initiating a threat, to which Malfoy's smirk dropped.
After Class - Naruto
While Harry, Ron and Hermione left the class, he stayed behind to investigate.
"Professor, can you tell me of the last time this happened?" Naruto requested. "These incidents, you and Dumbledore looked like you'd seen a ghost, and not the friendly kind." The blonde said. Minerva took off her glasses and stared at Naruto hard.
"I don't mean to pry, but what are your motives for knowing this information?" McGonagall asked. Naruto took off his hat and placed it on McGonagall's desk, like an old man would when giving grave news.
"I just want to crack this case. And to do so, I need to start from the beginning." Naruto said and Minerva raised an eyebrow.
"Case? I'm sorry to inform you, but this is classified information and disclosing this to a student could put your life in peril. I don't want to have this discussion again." McGonagall said and Naruto picked up his hat and left, but not without saying a goodbye.
"I'll crack this case, Miss. And I'll do it by myself." Naruto said and left, closing her classroom door.
'I hope you know what you're doing, Naruto. Albus has so much faith in you, yet I don't see why?' Minerva thought and went to clean up her desk.
With Naruto
Walking away from his Professor's classroom, he walked with his hat, turning it over, he saw Gama-chan sitting inside, grinning, he took the paper she had out of her webbed hands.
"Thanks Gama." Naruto said and stroked her underbelly before placing the hat on his head.
"Let's go to the library, look up books with petrification and such." Naruto said, he had about half an hour till his next class so he'll spend it looking in the library.
Making his way over to the library was a harder task than he actually imagined, since he had no interest in books, besides those that helped him learn spells or anything with pictures, action, horror and Sci-fi. Finally making it to the library, Naruto walked up to the librarian and asked:
"Hey, lady, do you know where the books are on petrification?" He asked, she tapped her wand and the pages on where each was skipped to the p section and she waved her wand and a book came out of one of the shelves. "One? That's it?"
"Life ain't always fair kid." She said and he took the book. He walked to an empty table that had no one there and he ran through the pages.
"Spells, spells, spells, more spells, even more spells, animals, snakes, anything useful?!" Naruto asked, he then remembered what he saw. "Snakes." He then began writing down what the book said about petrifying snakes.
"Bas-ilis-ks…" Naruto sounded out the confusing word. "Basilisk? Hmmm, weird name. Basilisk are enormous poisoned-fanged serpents, but unlike other snakes, the Basilisk is unique in its ability to kill with its gaze alone. Looking into the eye of the Basilisk will cause instantaneous death… it even says that spiders flee from it…" Naruto said. He then remembered what he saw the night prior, a giant scaly tail slithering down the corridor, and a group of spiders running away. He then looked up with a deadpan face.
"It's a basilisk, isn't it? It had to be a snake, a snake only the heir of Slytherin could control.." Naruto said, putting his head back down and looking at the rest. "So it looks like a (gasp) a SNAKE?!" Naruto gasped with an over the top expression. "What a surprise- Wait, what does it say? It says here that it can… yeah, no way… up to 50 feet long, piss off! Ain't no way I'm fighting that shit." Naruto said and closed his eyes with arm crossed. He looked at his toad next to him, it ribbited and he huffed.
"Fine! If I'm gonna take this thing down, I'll need a weakness." Naruto said, he went through the book and it had nothing on the basilisk weakness, so he went back to the receptionist.
"Hey lady, do you have any books on basilisks?" Naruto asked and the lady nodded, waving her wand, and a small book popped out from the b section and floated toward them, Naruto took it and thanked her.
Walking back to the table he was at before, he saw that a few students were there. "Hey! Beat it!" Naruto sneered and the kids scurried away, knowing how powerful he actually is. Naruto sat down, petted Gama a few times before opening the book with a snake skin cover, he flipped pages till he found weakness', and it read: "Ok, for a giant snake, it's weakness is so lame. Like, really, a crow of a roo-" Naruto's sentence stopped for a second, his eyes widened when he remembered what he saw the first night in Hogwarts this year, he saw a red haired girl, with a black diary, slaughtering all the roosters.
"R-roosters." Naruto said, he then looked again on the page and saw its other weakness, a mirror; that was obvious, the stench of a weasel?
"That's a different one, but I'd have to go into the Forbidden Forest for the weasel." Naruto said. "Shit! That's why that girl kills the roosters! But I didn't get a clear picture of her robes or face…" Naruto then saw three people he didn't want to see at this moment. Hermione, Harry and Ron.
"Dammit." Stashing the books, he hid away behind another shelf. He saw Harry and Ron pass him to a few shelves down. Hermione pulls a book titled "Most Potente Potions" off the shelf, then walks a few rows to where Harry and Ron are.
"Here it is, the Polyjuice Potion." Hermione said, Harry and Ron came over but Naruto used a spell, stabbing his wand into the bookshelf, the books in front of his wand disappeared, until it reached their row.
"Properly brewed, the Polyjuice Potion allows the drinker to transform himself temporarily into the physical form of another." Hermione said, Ron and Harry woah'd at the same time.
"You mean, if Harry and I drink that stuff, we'll turn into Crabbe and Goyle?" Ron asked, Hermione nodded.
"Yes."
"Wicked! Malfoy will tell us everything." Ron said, Hermione nodded. Naruto cut the connection of the spell and for his next class.
Timeskip
Naruto was walking in the halls of Hogwarts with Harry's invisibility cloak that he borrowed from the scarred wizard. Harry was in the hospital wing recovering after a rough bludger struck him in the arm for his quidditch match. Gryffindor still won, but Harry broke his arm. Naruto asked him if he could use his cloak to sneak around the castle, to which he did.
He was now looking around for anything suspicious, he tapped a painting with his wand, waking her up.
"What?" She asked with an irritated tone. Naruto peeked his head out of the cloak.
"Have you seen anything out of the ordinary lately? Anything big and scaly?" He asked, the painting only spat at him. "Well, aren't you a charmer?" Naruto pulled out a pencil from his pocket and drew a mustache on her upper lip. "Suck it grandma." Naruto said before leaving quickly, before he got caught by Filch.
Running down a corridor, he stopped for a second, when he saw a flash of light. Sprinting to the source, he saw a boy drop onto his back. Looking around, he saw another tail. Running after it, he pointed his wand at the tail before shouting: "Confringo!" Naruto shot the explosive spell at the tail and missed.
"Yeah, ain't no way I'm going to chase that shit." Naruto then looked at the down boy, he quickly threw the cloak back on and left. He went the way he came and ran back to the common room and got some sleep.
Timeskip
A few days after Colin Creevey was officially classified as a petrified, the students were given a curfew that would get them into bed earlier than before and keep them safe from whatever was purging the school of its muggle-borns.
Naruto had four fairy tale books in his hand, he was going to read to Myrtle like old times and stuff. Stepping into the bathroom, he said: "Myrtle, I got a few books and I'm very… excited to read them…" Naruto stopped halfway through his sentence, because he just walked in on Hermione, Ron and Harry, all in Myrtle's bathroom? And weren't scared.
"Hermione, I thought you said no one ever comes in here." Ron said. Hermione looked at Naruto, into his eyes, never noticing how blue they were, and how long his eyelashes were, making his eyes seem… dashing…
"Hey, I think I'll just go.." Naruto says before he turns around, and opens his door. Myrtle then came outta the ground in front of him, stopping him.
"Hello Naruto! Are those new books!?" Myrtle asked and Naruto nodded, she then brought him into the bathroom.
"Hey guys." Naruto said. "What's that?" Naruto asked, pointing at the black cauldron in Hermione's hands.
"Oh, we're brewing a potion to spy Malfoy." Ron blurted out with crossed arms. Naruto looked at Harry and Hermione, waiting for an answer.
"Wow, polyjuice potion is very tricky to make and the effects are disastrous if gotten wrong." Naruto said, he saw the questions in their eyes. "I heard you guys talking about making a tricky potion, since you're doing it in an abandoned bathroom instead of a classroom, I'm guessing that it's not allowed. So, I guessed it was a polyjuice potion." Naruto said and scratched his head.
"Wow." They said in unison, Naruto then sat down near Hermione, a little bit behind her and used the bathroom sink as a backrest to read. Myrtle sat next to him and leaned on his shoulder.
"So, do you like to come into this bathroom often?" Hermione asked, she stopped from tipping ingredients into the potion to look at him.
"Yup, I spend most of my free time here with Myrtle. She can be a bit sensitive and strange, but that's understandable for someone who was murdered at such a young age." Naruto said and went to read a new book, "The Witching Hour".
Next Class - Gilderoy vs Naruto
Professor-Lockhart walks on to a stage in the middle of the Great Hall.
"Gather round! Gather round!" As Lockhart said this, most of the students gathered around. Naruto however didn't, he didn't respect him enough to even listen to a simple instruction. He just wore his usual attire, but now his eyes started to gain a lighter shade.
"Can everybody see me? Can you all hear me? Excellent. In light of the dark events of recent weeks, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little Dueling Club, to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourselves, as I myself have done on countless occasions. For full details, see my published works." Gilderoy pulls off the cape he's wearing and tosses it into the crowd, where it's caught by some of his adoring female fans.
"Let me introduce my assistant, Professor-Snape." Lockhart introduced and Snape, looking as dull and menacing as ever, made his presence clear, walking past someone left them shuddering. "He has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry, you'll still have your Potions Master when I'm through with him. Never fear." Lockhart said a little too cocky.
"Kick his ass Sir!" Naruto shouted and Lockhart smiled at Naruto.
"Don't worry my boy, I will!" Giving him a bright smile, and a wink, Naruto cringed.
"Ew! No, I ain't talking to your fake-ass. I'm talking to Professor-Snape." Naruto said and looked at Snape who shushed him with a finger.
Snape and Lockhart walk up to each other, raise their wands, bow their heads, and then walk several paces back from each other.
"One, two, three." He said with a confident smile and waved his wand but Snape was faster.
"Expelliarmus!" He chanted and the spell blasts Lockhart across the room. Lockhart for one, got laughed at, struggled to get to his feet, and his hair got messed up.
"Do you think he's alright?" Hermione asked Ron who was smiling.
"Who cares!"
"An excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind me saying, it was pretty obvious what you were about to do. If I had wanted to stop you, it would have been only too easy." Lockhart said, walking back to the center of the stage.
"Perhaps it would be prudent to first teach the students to block unfriendly spells, Professor." Snape said with a subtle smile.
"I was just going to block your spell but I was a shade too late." Lockhart said and Snape scoffed. Naruto cupped his hands over his mouth and shouted:
"Just take the loss!"
Lockhart turned on his fellow blonde and glared at him before smiling slightly, a little too sinisterly. "Well then Mr. Naruto, how about you help me with the new demonstration?" Lockhart said, Naruto nodded and ran to the stage, he then stopped in front of Snape and said:
"After him, I want to challenge you Professor." Naruto said and went to the center of the ring. The blondes, both faced each other, raised their wands to their faces and Gilderoy bowed but not Naruto.
"If you think I'm gonna bow to you, then think again." Naruto said and walked back, keeping eye-contact with the blonde across from him and got into his stance.
"You asked for this Naruto." Lockhart said, his wand to his opponent.
"Whatever." Naruto said. Snape was in the middle of both, he was the "referee" and ensured that none got hurt. "1… 2… 3!"
"Rictusempra!" Lockhart shouted and fired off a spell. The blast was sent straight for Naruto.
"Sanctus Scutum!" Naruto yelled, creating a protective shield and shot it forward to Lockhart that knocked him back off the stage into the crowd of fangirls. Naruto pointed into the air and shouted: "STRIKE!" The blonde had flames in his eyes and did a victory dance.
AU: For context, Sanctus Scutum (Holy Shield) is a spell someone gave me to use. It's a spell that forms a protective shield the size of a small table or bigger if I wanted, so I just said depending on how much power you use, depends on the size of the shield. And you can shoot it forward to knock the enemy back with considerable force, proving that the spell is a defensive and an offensive spell.

"The winner is Naruto." Snape said in his melodias voice and stepped onto the stage.
"So Professor, how about it?" Naruto said with a grin and pulled out his wand.
"Request denied." Snape said and pulled someone else onto the podium. Marcus Flint.
"Oh great, it's you again." Naruto said and put his earpieces on his ear and played a song.
"Wands at the ready."
Naruto and Marcus raised their wands, before lowering them. They then paced backwards.
"1, 2, 3!" Snape called out. Naruto was inside the melody world at the moment. He was just dancing around, doing the two step, side to side, round and round. Marcus got fed up and shot a spell at him.
"Reducto!" He shot the spell straight for the blonde's head who twirled around before falling into a crouch position; effectively dodging the spell that continued behind him, knocking a rising Lockhart. He had his wand outstretched and shouted:
"Stupify!" The stunning spell launched Marcus back with a stunned look and landed on his back. Snape pulled him back up and pushed him forward.
"Disarm only!" Snape instructed. Naruto walked toward Marcus with an emotionless face. Flint threw out all the spells he knew but Naruto just blocked him and then used the disarming spell:
"Expelliarmus!" Naruto caught Flint's wand and pointed both wands at him. He was going to deal the final blow but remembered what his uncle said and dropped Marcus' wand.
"I won. I disarmed you, and I don't think you know non-verbal magic or wandless magic." Naruto said and walked off the stage into the crowd, Gryffindor all cheered for him and clapped for him. Naruto fistbumped Ron and Harry, got a noogie from the Weasley twins.
Lockhart walked back on to the stage.
"Ha! What did I miss?" He asked with his stupid smile.
"You were incapacitated by none other than Naruto, Professor." Snape said with a tiny smile. Lockhart looked around at his students who were locking at him with mixed feelings, especially from the girls. Playing it off as him giving Naruto the win on purpose to show good sportsmanship and how good of a teacher he was.
Soon Harry and Draco were dueling one another. Not even waiting for the count to hit three, Draco threw the knockback spell on Harry that threw him a few feet into the air and landing on his back, not wanting to go down without a fight, Harry shot Draco with another spell that repelled off Malfoy, throwing him into a spinning mess before landing on his ass.
Snape, not wanting to be embarrassed because of his student, lifted Malfoy up and pushed him forward.
"I said disarm only!" Lockhart said but was ignored by those who'd wanted to see this fight since last year, Naruto included.
"Serpentsortia!" Draco swishes his wand and fires a cobra out of it; which then slithers along the playing field; Harry lowers his wand. Snape walked past Draco towards the snake, intent on destroying it.
"Don't move Potter. I'll get rid of it for you." Snape said. Lockhart stopped Snape in his tracks.
"Alarte ascendare!" The snake flies into the air, then falls back down, raises its head and turns toward Harry with a hiss.
Harry's eyes flashed red for a split second, and he advanced toward the snake. He then spoke in a weird language, sounding similarly much like a snake, hissing and slithering. "Leave him alone..." Harry said in the language, walking closer and stopped in front of it, the snake turns toward Justin Finch-Fletchey and hisses, scaring the boy. "Leave him alone..." Harry ordered. Snape looked at him suspiciously and Harry said the same command. The snake then obediently turned to Harry.
"Vipera Evanesca." He waves his wand, emitting a blast at the snake, causing it to burst into flame and disappear. A murmur runs through the audience.
"What are you playing at?!" Justin asked angrily, everyone stared at Harry with mixed expressions, some in shock, others in fear, some in anger, and Naruto in suspicion. Sometime later, Naruto, Harry, Ron, and Hermione run into the deserted Gryffindor common room.
"You're a Parselmouth. Why didn't you tell us?" Ron asked, Naruto sat on his chair in the common room that had 'Reserved for Naruto'.
"I'm a what?" Harry said in confusion, never ever hearing of a Parselmouth.
"You can talk to snakes." Hermione said.
"I know. I mean, I accidentally set a python on my cousin Dudley at the zoo once." Harry said, and the other two unnerved the two. "Once. But so what? I bet loads of people here can do it." He said with a lot of conviction. The scarred kid looked at Naruto who shook his head.
"Nah man. It ain't that common amongst Gryffindor's, especially amongst the wizarding world." Naruto said and Hermione nodded.
"What's bad? If I hadn't told that snake not to attack Justin-" Ron cut the brunette off.
"Oh, that's what you said to it!" Ron said in shock.
"You were there! You heard me! All of you!" Harry said.
"I heard you speaking Parseltongue, snake language." Weasley said.
"I spoke a different language? But I didn't realize- how can I speak a language without knowing I can?"
"I don't know, Harry, but it sounded like you were egging the snake on or something. Harry, listen to me. There's a reason the symbol of Slytherin House is a serpent. Salazar Slytherin was a Parselmouth. He could talk to snakes too." The smart witch said and Harry's eyes widened.
"Exactly! Now the whole school's gonna think you're his great-great-great-grandson or something." Ron said. "But I'm not! I can't be..." Harry said.
"He lived a thousand years ago. Unless this is all a coincidence, you could be his offspring." Naruto said, and everything faded into black.

Yeah, unlike Harry who'd chase after danger, Naruto's a guy that'll actually stay away from it if it's too much for him.
