Lightning was LIVE on TikTok, he was at a comic shop. It was the next day, the race didn't start until later in the day. People were commenting on his LIVE as he was browsing the store, looking for some Sonic comics for himself and Spark.

Lightning was looking, then a fan walked up to him. "Can I have an autograph?" the fan asked, Lightning smiled and set his phone down, Lightning grabbed the Man's sharpie. "What do you want sighed?" he asked.

The man pulled out a Pokémon POP figure of Charmander. Lightning took the sharpie and sighed his name on it, with a drawing of Charizard on the front. Lightning gave it back to the man as he was in shock, he just met his favorite NASCAR driver! The man had to ask.

"Sorry for asking you this, man. Um."

Lightning smiled. "No, you're fine. What's up?" he asked, crossing his arms, He grabbed his phone as he was still live onTikTok. with 1.4K people watching and he had 67.9K likes. His fans were commenting about Sonic and drawing something for them for his Twitter — Now known as X and his DeviantArt account.

"Sure guys, If you want a drawing from me, It's completely free. It's not a scam, there's no commissions for these." he said, Someone asked something.

"Where's Spark? He's staying at my parents house. He didn't want to come to this race, so I respect his decision." Lightning said. Okay, Hey my name is James by the way."

"James, like from Team Rocket?" The racer jokes. James laughed. "Your funny, dude, But no. I am a Pokémon fan though."

Lightning nodded and laughed. "Cool, James. I'll see you later, dude. Oh, do you have Discord so we can message there?"

"You don't use Instagram?"

"I do, but when I'm playing on my PS5 or doing something else. I use Discord." he said. James nodded. "Hey, sorry for what happened to Sally dude, It must be hard for you."

"It's okay, I'm getting much better about it, I had friends that lost family members too."

"Who?"

"Dale."

"Wait a second, Dale Earnhardt Jr is your friend?" he asked in disbelief. Lightning nodded. "Best Friend, we met in 2006."

"Dude, no way, that's awesome!" he said, Lightning nodded.

"Yeah, it is pretty cool we always hangout together."

"Oh, what happened to his hand? I saw him in the announcers booth last week and his hand was in a cast."

"That was my fault. I crashed into him while we were go karting a week ago." Lightning said, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his cargo shorts. "I think he's supposed to get his cast off next week."

"Can he drive with that on?"

"Yeah, He's fine."

"He drives for the Xfinity Series now, right?"

"Yeah. Hey, James. It was cool talking to you, bro. I'm going to go pay, Wait. Can I get your Discord?" He asked, swiping off TikTok and opening Discord.

"I can AirDrop it to you and you can shoot me a follow." James said, Lightning smiled.

"Awesome!" James said as he went to his profile, he clocked 'Your Friends' and pressed 'Add Friends' in the right hand corner, then he tapped share invite. He saw a list of his friends and depressed AirDrop and AirDropped it to Lightning's phone.

"Wait, Is it set to Everyone?"

"Yeah." Lightning said.

"Oh, got it." James told him. Lightning Smiled and nodded. "Sweet dude, I'll catch you later." he said, with a small stack of comic books under his arm. He went to the counter and put them on it for the cashier to scan so he could pay.

"You really like Sonic, do you?" the man said, scanning them one by one.

"Yeah, I do. Been a fan since I was younger."

"That's so cool! Well, have a good day."

Lightning smiled and he walked out of the store to head back to the race track.

"Take that Bowser! I got first place!'' Mack said, as he was playing Mario Kart on Lightning's Nintendo Switch, Mack had asked Dale to borrow his copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. And now, he was playing it until Lightning came back from the Comic shop in Charlotte.

Mack heard someone walk in.

"A successful mission?" Mack asked jokingly as he was playing another round of the game. Lightning held his comic books, protected in sleeves as they wouldn't get dust on them.

"Yeah, it was. I got a crapload of Sonic Comics for my collection." he said, putting it onto his backpack. Lightning Turned to Mack who was still sitting at the table, playing Mario Kart

It was four, Lightning put on a Pokémon T-shirt and changed into his red Nintendo racing suit and he put on his McQueen (They changed the name from Radiator Springs Racing Team to Team McQueen) was also setting up for the race in the pit garage, making sure the car was ready.

Lightning got up and walked out of his hauler and into the garage where his car sat. "Hey, McQueen!" a man said slapping him on the back, Lightning turned his body around. "What's up, Mater?" he gave him a high five. Mater grabbed him into a hug.

"What's up, man?" Fillmore asked, wearing his Nintendo pit crew suit, completed with his gloves with the letter M on it for Mario.

"Sup, dude?" he asked, smiling at him

"Fine, my smoothie company is taking off."

"Oh, sweet! me and Dale will have to go one day."

Fillmore almost forgot. "Oh, dude. Bring Me The Horizon is playing in a month in Charlotte. You can get tickets now."

Lightning smiled. He told his team that he loves rock and rap music, and one of his favorite bands is Bring Me The Horizon. "Okay, dude. That is awesome! So, how's the car looking?"

"Looking good, Amigo!" Romone told him.

"Sweet! Let's get ready."

"Driving for the Number 95, Nintendo Chevrolet Camaro, Lightning McQueen!" The announcer introduced as Lightning Walked down the catwalk with Live & Learn By Crush 40 playing in the background, the fans cheered for him. holding up signs and taking pictures. Lightning took a sharpie out of a fan's hand and signed his autograph with a Poké Ball next to his name. He wore the sunglasses he bought from Hot Topic over his eyes.

Lightning signed more autographs for fans, and he took a fan's phone and took a selfie with some. Lightning flipping his Mario SnapBack to the back as he got into the truck with Ryan Blaney, Chanler Smith and Ross Christian.

"Hey, Lightning. What's up?" Ross asked,he was actually racing with Team McQueen too.

"Sup, Ross." he gave his teammate a fist bump. "Hey, dude." he smiled.

Ross Christian has been racing for him since last year. His Sponsor is Busch Light.

"Sup, Red." Ross and Lightning have these nicknames for each other. Ross came up with the name 'Red' because of the color of his hair.

"So, you're ready to race dude?" Chanler asked him.

"Heck yeah! I'm ready to beat Jackson."

"I heard you bought some Sonic comics today. How are they?" Ryan asked.

"Hadn't read them yet, I was finishing up an art piece."

"The Amphibia fan art?"

"Yeah, I'm almost done, I have to color it in and do the shading and stuff." he explained to his friends.

"Cool, dude. Can I get an art piece too?" Ross asked.

"Sure, what do you want?"

"Me racing in my car with Mario."

"Dude, that's SICK! I'll draw that, Ihope my iPad is charged." Lightning said.

"You didn't charge it?" Chanler asked.

"I think I didn't." he said Chanler nodded.

They got off the truck and into next to their cars. Lightning saw his crew, He stood on pit road as Mater walked up. "What's up?"

"Have a good race." he said, Lightning Chuckled. "You know I always have a good race dude." He told his friend.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please remove your hats for the national anthem preformed by Taylor Swift."

Oh, come on. Out of all people, why her?! Lightning thought

She walked up and started singing.

I'd take a hot honey bun and-

"You okay, dude?" Ty Dillion asked him, He walked up to his friend to make sure he's okay.

Lightning nodded. He wanted this song to end.

When the National Anthem ended, Lightning And the other drivers walked towards his Nintendo Camaro and he opened the window net and climbed in. He took off the steering wheel that was on the dash and stuck it in. Mater came in and gave him his gloves. Lightning put them on and he waited for the signal.

A man by the name of Ryan Smith was doing the announcement. He walked to the microphone

"DRIVERS…." he said. "START. !" Lightning flicked the switch and started the engine of his stock other drivers did the same. Lighting and the others drove off pit road and onto the track.

The pace car was in front of the other drivers, Lightning and Ryan were next to each other, then the race started.

"BOOGITY, BOOGITY, BOOGITY. LETS GO RACING BOYS!" Darrel Walltrip said as the green flag went down, Lightning was speeding off to get to the front.

The race was about done, Lightning got a few scratches on his Nintendo car but he was okay, Jackson Storm was catching up to him. Lightning saw Jackson's car approaching him. "Lightning, stay in your lane." He heard the voice of Mater say through his headset.

Then, Jackson tapped him. Causing Lightning's car to skid into other drivers.

"Trouble! Turn four! McQueen is loose!" Bob Costas said.

Lightning turned the wheel to get back into the race. Cruz was catching up to Storm. Lightning drove faster to get out of Jackson's range.

It was starting to get dark, and the track's lights were starting to illuminate it. Lightning was still in the lead with Jackson trailing behind him.

A few laps later, they were down to the last lap, Lightning was still in the lead, Cruz, Jackson, Ryan and Cal both were in the top ten. Cal was trying to get in front of Ryan, Lightning was still in first place. Jackson was trying to pass Lightning.

The final turn was coming up, Lightning gained speed and crossed the checkered line.

"OH, HECK YEAH!" he said, he burned rubber as the crowd cheered for Lightning. His team clapped and cheered for him too.

He drove to Victory lane. He climbed out of the Nintendo Car, took off his helmet, and stood on the car. His fist held high.

Team McQueen was there too, Lightning smiled. His racing friends ran to him and gave him some hugs and high fives. Ryan messed up his hair.

"Good win tonight dude! Hope, Spark is watching!" he said, Lightning smiled also.

A month passed. Lightning, Dale and Spark were at a Bring Me The Horizon concert. Lightning wore a white T-shirt with a vibrant, colorful graphic design featuring a green dragon and the words"Bringing the horror to the court" printed on it.

Lightning Was at the venue, with Spark and Dale. Lightning saw a woman with straight black hair. He walked over to her.

"Hi."Lightning said.

"Hi!"she said happily, Lightning saw her and instantly fell for her.

She had bright pink and black hair. Shewas wearing a black Bring Me the Horizon T-Shirt. He sees a pink flower tattoo on her right arm, a cross on her left. And she had snake bite piercings on her bottom lip, she also wore black eyeliner to make her blue eyes pop.

"Hi, I'm Jordyn. Jordyn Fox What's your name?" Jordyn said.

"Lightning." He said, Jordyn nodded.

Then, Spark walked up to his father. the ten year old looked at him "Who's your new friend, dad?"

"Spark, this is Jordyn, we just met."

"Hi, Spark. I like your name." She said, Spark smiled, he was glad that his father was out here meeting other people again, Spark hoped that his father will get a new girlfriend. And in the future. A new mom.

Lightning took a glance at his all blacked out G-Shock.

"Oh, the show is almost starting.'' Before he forgot, he wanted to ask. "Hey," Lightning said. "You wanna hang out tomorrow? we can exchange phone numbers." he said, she nodded and went into her iPhone. He went into his iPhone and they exchanged numbers by sharing contacts

"Done." he said

"Cool, well. we should go in now, the show is starting."

After the show, Lightning and Jordyn were talking, Spark was with Dale. Spark was getting something from the venue. Dale took out his card and paid him. Spark actually got another Bring Me The Horizon T-Shirt

"Thands, Junior." Spark said, hugging him. Dale smiled. "No problem, man." he smiles, he loves seeing Spark happy, as well as his sons too.

"Thanks for inviting me, Lightning."Dale said

"No problem, dude. Let's do this again sometime. And Jordyn, I'll see you later."

"Okay, Lightning. Bye." She said, Lightning smiled while he was driving home that night, Spark was happy to see his father happy after a very long time.
