Breach the Skies Pt. 1

"My name is Wulfred Fazbear… But just call me Withered Freddy"
The duo walked through the cave system, silence shared between them. For Withered Freddy, it was because he doesn't like to talk much while Ruby was trying to figure out the torn bear's relation to Freddy. Just as Ruby was about to speak, they heard voices. The duo nodded at one another before quietly running behind a rock.
There, in a clearing of rocks and next to a train was Roman Torchwick, a group of White Fang grunts as a young woman, who was dressed in a white cropped jacket, brown corset and brown leather pants and knee high boots. In her hands was a pink parasol. This was Neopolitan, Roman's partner in crime. The faunus and huntress listened into what was being said, unaware of a set of red eyes glowing behind them.
"The plan, Perry, is simple' spoke Roman, with charisma and confidence only seen in most leaders, 'We were given a set of devices that can open a hole in Vale, hence the train, to pour a ton of Grimm, along with other cave dwelling freaks, in as a way to test the students of each Academy and the response time of those bucket of bolts Atlas produces." Ruby's eyes widened and Withered Freddy frown went into a snarl, the implications not lost on either of them. It was then they both felt a clawed hand grab their shoulders.
They turned and Ruby let out a rather loud squeak of terror, alerting the Grunts and thieves. The White couldn't blame the human as both eavesdroppers were dragged out by a truly monstrous grimm. It was tall, lanky and standing at an impressive 8'4", its liquid skin flowing and dripping as it's claws held the two people.
It was human-like, with bone shards jutting out of its body, spiralling up like a disturbing pillar of stairs. Its head had three eyes, all going vertically down its face and all red, the bones on its body opening and closing like mouths. Even among Grimm, its ugly as heck.
"Heh. I see you met my…allie" smirked Roman, making everyone look at him as he stood up. "That is a Mockery, a type of Mimic Grimm, and can disguise itself as a human or faunus." he explained, causing eyes to widen. The Candle Thief then put down a folded piece of black paper, though it unfolded to reveal another Mockery. "Let me give an example of its power.
Roman turned to the Mockery and cleared his voice, the Grimm turning to him, awaiting orders. "Become a White Fang Grunt" he spoke clearly. There was a pause before the Grimm splitted in half and reformed, creating an abomination! It had two different sets of ears (Cat and fox, in fact), a set of antlers, at least six different sets of tails, claws and even hooves. The uniform was torn and the mask cracked, revealing at least two eyes on the left side and snake fangs. Its left arm was broken and twisted and its right leg shattered with bone jutting out, its midsection twisted like a straight pretzel. "Now, back to normal, before everyone throws up" Roman bluntly said as the Mockery's new body darkened and twisted back to normal.
"That's one problem with it. Unless you get a description of what you want, it won't be perfect" mused Roman. Everyone's eyes widened at that, as the thought of people in charge being swapped for a Grimm came to mind. Even the White Fang were stunned and a bit disturbed by the idea. Roman then spoke up "Even then, the skin would be paler, the eyes red… You know what. Mockery, turn into Ruby Rose, the girl in front of you"
The Mockery bubbled as it split in half, revealing a pale version of Ruby, the colors desaturated and eyes a dull red. It swayed a bit as it looked bored and a skull pattern coated its face. For some reason, everyone shuddered at the sight of the dull colored Rose and Roman made it deformed and put it in his pocket. Right as the thief opened to talk, a bullet whizzed past his head and he jumped.
"There you are, Ruby!" spoke Yang, glaring at the Grimm holding her sister and the older…Fazbear?! Before Yang could say anything, a blue Wolf faunus fired a snowball at her. Roman sighed in relief as he got ready then paled seeing the rest of Red's group, some bulky guys, another group of girls and some bugs. "Right… you four, with me. The rest of you lot, get the train going!" yelled Roman as the White Fang moved. The four Roman talked to were the wolf faunus, a red Lion faunus, an orange Eagle Faunus and a green Toad faunus, who Torchwick called The Spectral Four.
Varron ran up to Ruby and handed her Crescent Rose before giving her an apologetic look, blaming himself for Ruby falling before the Rose gave him a smile and a nod. "Sorry to break up your romance, but we got bigger fish to fry" grumbled Russel, though he flinched from glares he got. The massive group of students, one teacher and a Corgi quickly hopped onto the train. Oobleck then spoke up, mentioning that they must get to the front, although a beeping was heard.
"What was that?" spoke the Doctor, looking around. Kabu was confused before looking down and loudly gulping "Doc. May I know what that rectangular device on the train is?" With that, the others looked down and gulped, now understanding the problem. "That. Is a bomb" Everyone's eyes widened before they quickly rushed out of the cart, with Oobleck ordering Blake to cut the train cart off. She goes to but it suddenly disconnects.
"What the?" muttered Blake before she leaped onto the roof where the others stood, watching the cart slow down before exploding, creating a hole large enough to let out Grimm. What followed them were zombie-like Insect faunus, creatures that looked like wisps of flames, cloaked men and one eyed monsters with a sharp tail. Skeleton archers also exited and fired an arrow at a Ursa, causing it to turn and attack the archer.
"Good news, not all of them are after us." Kabbu spoke, looking as unease as the others. Doctor Oobleck then told the groups to go to the train control room, seeing as stopping it is the only way. The groups nodded and moved, with the doc and Zwei straying to cover them.
"We should split up." spoke Yang, eyeing the train carriages. "You lot can do that, I'll see if i can curve the numbers" Withered Freddy suddenly said, before grinning and charging off the train. The others looked scared before seeing the bear faunus stand and sighed, then sharing a nod as they got ready for the biggest fight so far.
Sorry for this taking a while. I was unable to think of a way to write this and the next chapter will probably take awhile to do.
And yes, the last part was a bit rushed, sorry. Anyway, hope you all are having a wonderful new year.
