CHAPTER TWO
Today I woke up. I decided I would go for a run around the village to gain a skill if possible. I put on small black pants to fit my stature as a 5 year old and a small black shirt. As I was walking outside of the orphanage, I saw the little boy tsubasa, he said in an energetic manner. Hey, big bro, do you wanna play With Me? I looked at him and politely said that no I was busy but I would play when I got back. He looked dejected but understood and went back to play with his ball
I was running around the village specifically in the less Occupied area of village. It wasn't bad or anything. It was normal, but it didn't have many shops or attractions. So it wasn't a main place for villagers to go I was running my legs were getting numb and tired but soon I heard a ding in my head and then a screen a popped in front of my face and in a mechanical voice I heard. You have game skill running level one increases the user's speed by 2% when activated consumes 3 energy points or EP I felt a tiny amount of Pride on my announcement of a new skill but I couldn't stop there.
So I kept running by the end of the day. I got the skill up to level 3. Which increases the user speed by 4% and consumes 2 energy points. I assume that the maximum amount of energy points is one or maybe I can get it all the way down to none in a sort of amount of time. I said out-loud to pass the time when all of a sudden I tripped. Then I saw the blonde boy with the sparkling blue eyes. Naruto Uzumaki, he looked at me in a curious manner and asked Hey, do you wanna play with me in a loud and brash manner?
I looked at him and remembered the other day when I just walked by when he was crying so I decided that I would play with the love deprived blonde. All-right what do you wanna play? He looked at me shocked as if he expected me to just run off and say now. Well, I don't quite know I haven't played with many people. I looked at him with a smirk on my face and said how about tag? He said sure thing with a smile on his face so wide. I swear I could split his face in two.
We were running across the village playing Tag. Surprisingly, the boy was fast especially since I doubted he trained. But with my new acquired skill I could keep up with them relatively well plus it did add, as training running around the village could be useful in ninja work. After all, what else was I going to do in a ninja village? Become a farmer that doesn't sound like something I enjoy. After about two hours or so, Naruto began to grow winded huf huf, he said you're pretty fast that was fun.
We should play again sometime but I'm really hungry. Do you wanna come get some ramen with me? And at the thought of getting ramen with the main character of. The series that I'm currently in I thought why the hell not. And I said just that too. And why not? I could go for some food too. As we were walking to eat ichirku ramen. I asked him, so how have you been? He began his face began to grow somber. Well, I've been just fine by g g sama gave me an apartment to stay at and I have Money so I can buy food for myself.
I looked at his face closely and I just said that's good. I should visit you sometime. We begin to walk in a calming of silence as we get to the ramen stand. Naruto's face lit up all over again. Hey, old man, get me some ramen, I'm hungry. My face deadpan." Wow, you have 0 respect", I said flabbergasted, Hey, Naruto I guess you want your special and who would you bring along with you? The old man said
Oh, this guy, this guy's my friend Naruto said while he pointed at me. Yeah, I just met him today. We've had a great time. I looked at the old man and said hi, my name's Takahashi, it's nice to meet you. Oh, don't you have manners? The old man said no I guess I'm just more manner-able than the Uzumaki Making. Ha ha ha, the old man laughed well. What can I get? Uh, can I get a pork ramen? I said confused on how all the Ramen works. After all, I'm not from Japan. I am American "coming right up The old man said with a smile on his face as me and Naruto took a seat we talked in a comfortable silence about many things mostly about the different types of ramen Naruto liked. Maybe I should give more ramen a try. I thought in my head
When Ding daily mission completed daily mission. I thought an utter bafflement. I didn't get any notification about a daily mission. I looked at the screen and it said daily mission, befriend the Uzumaki completed x P earned 3000 now level has increased by 2. You're currently at level 5 HP has increased by 50HP is now a 150 EP as increased by. 20EP is not out now. At 2 50 wow, that gave me a lot and I thought so there's secret daily missions that I can complete nice if I go through day-to-day? I might just earn more and more. Every day who knows I might just be able to beat sasuke as soon as I get into the Academy.
I thought optimistically. As the Ramen came Naruto guzzled down like it was his final and last name before I knew it. I had finished my bowl and Naruto had finished 20. Wow your stomach must be absurdly large I said with a smile on my face well I did just run across the village The blonde said with a bright smile on his face. Well, I gotta go back to the orphanage. I said with a smirk on my face. But I'll see you tomorrow though. He looked a little downtrodden but his face soon shined right back up and he said. See you tomorrow, Takahashi.
And I walked off well, that was fine. I guess I have to go I Kept my promise to tsubasa and play with them for a little back so for the rest of the night. I played with tsubasa before he had to go to bed. But I couldn't sleep instead. I was working out in my room. Doing simple exercises ding notifications kept popping up on my screen about my physical level. Going Out for the hard work I can increase my strength stat. This in turn gives me experience. It might not be much but when doing enough exercise. I can gain enough for a level. So, I'm currently sitting at level 6 through exercising throughout the night. Although I'm sweaty and tired. I soon get up and look at my small mirror on my room.
Seeing my black hair and green eyes. I thought I might have been a handsome child in the future. I went to bed to gain rest. Realizing that tomorrow would start a new day and was the precursor to the Ninja Academy, but first we had to take a test to see if we were able to get in. We had to have at least some physical standards like having a body that could handle ninja work. They tested us in the 3 basic properties of ninja such as physical prowess through routine exercise. Along with stealth and more theoretical work and tests. Tomorrow is gonna be great.
I thought in the morning. I was woken up by bashing on my door by the head Caretaker, get up Takahashi, get up Takahashi. It's time for you to go to the Academy to apply for the ninja course. So I got up and put on my normal clothes and walked outside the door I saw the head caretaker looking at me with a bright smile although All I could see was the sneer she had on her face when she kicked Naruto out of the orphanage so I was there indifferent or maybe I was more angry at her.
She took me and a few others that were applying to the ninja Academy. It was at the entrance where I saw the old the guy who came to pick up Naruto when he was kicked out. Who gave me no mind although I couldn't really blame him when he's all but adopted grandson was kicked out of the orphanage and bowling his eyes out the Hokage looked around at the crowd and began his speech he said

I must admit If I was an actual 5 year old, I would have probably been aroused by that speech too. But I'm saying yes, I was at the very least 25 in my last world and an ex solder, it didn't do much for me soon. The test began and I saw another with them. I didn't think Naruto would do well on the theory portion of the exam. But when it comes to the stealth and the physical portion. I think he would do fine plus their requirements weren't too strict to get in. I'm pretty sure they just wanted people to apply I bet even if people don't pass the graduation exam there's a chance for them to be putting a reserve so there's more people to fight I must admit because the strategy is a good one waste not want, not as some would say I think I passed with flying colors but there's no way to tell. I didn't converse with many people. After all, most of the kids were too nervous to talk to anyone
And the adults were just watching the kids. So it was a bit awkward for me at the very least, a few days pass. And I get a letter from the head caretaker saying that I've officially been recognized as a student of the ninja Academy and I will be moving into my own place, saying as I am an orphan and as now underneath the jurisdiction of the village. In other words, it's a fancy way of saying that the orphanage wanted to kick me out was so they gonna have more room and they did.
But I did get money to live on just like Naruto. Although I'm pretty sure it was a little less. Considering the Hokage does definitely have favor for the young blonde the Academy officially begins a week after. From today, so I have time to kill in the meantime, I do more exercise to increase my level to level 8.
It was hard work and I worked almost 9 stop, but it was worth it to increase my current HP is at 300 my EP is at. 500 It's seemingly high but when you get into more energy, consuming skills. It's nothing considering how my recent skill beginner fighting style that I gained from hitting a tree. In a certain way, a couple of times takes up 50 EP ever second.
The the math far too complicated to do So let's just say It's really energy absorbent and I doubt this is the only skill ill that's energy intensive so the more you EP the better.
