After the school's last bell rang. All of the kids left their classrooms and went to their lockers to grab their backpacks. Very excited for summer vacation.

As soon as May and Nora opened their lockers...

May felt her spider sense tingling. And then she turned around. Fiona was just about to push her into her locker. So she moved out of the way while Fiona lost her balance and fell into May's locker.

Some of the kids were at the scene as they were passing by. And they started laughing at Fiona, and took pictures on their phones.

Then May and Nora started giggling.

"For Midtown Middle School's star athlete, you can't even find your balance. Even outside of the gym", said a boy with short spiked red hair. And he laughed again.

"It's not funny, Lucas!" shouted Fiona as she got back up.

"It is kinda funny from where I'm standing", said Nora as she continued giggling.

Then Fiona turned towards Nora and said in a threatening tone, "If you keep that spoiled rotten smile on that pretty little face of yours any longer, Osborn. Then I'll wipe it clean off...

"WITH MY SHOES!!"

May was angry as her best friend was being attacked. And then, she stood up to Fiona, faced her head-on, and shouted...

"NEVER threaten my best friend like that, Fiona! NEVER AGAIN!! And the only thing that you need to wipe clean, is your rotten ego! It stinks just as bad as your smelly gym shoes! And your socks! And your jersey! You're a rotten bully!

"FIONA THE FOUL!!"

The students in the hallway, including some of the teachers gasped as they heard the brave young girl stand up and defended her best friend from Fiona.

And Principal Baker, who happened to be nearby, witnessed the entire event! Then she walked towards May, and said, "In all of my years being principal of this school. I have NEVER seen such bravery and loyalty like that from any of my students!

May smiled proudly.

"But even though it was right for you to stand up for Nora like that. You know that it's not right to call someone names, even if they are being mean. Understand, May?"

"Yes, Principal Baker", May replied.

"Good. Now you girls run along now. And enjoy a safe summer vacation with your families. See you two next year".

The 2 girls took their stuff out of their lockers and left. And they overheard the principal telling Fiona that she'll call her mother about her unacceptable behavior.

And recommend that she'll take anger management during the summer. And the principal took Fiona to her office.

When the girls went outside, Nora said, "That was awesome, May! I thought that I was gonna be a goner! But you totally destroyed her!"

"I had to do something, Nora", said May. "But to be honest, it felt kinda great".

"Like beating a supervillain, I'll bet".

"Yeah, actually".

Just then, Harry showed up in his Mercedes-Benz at the school steps.

"Hey, girls", he said when he rolled the window down. And Peter was in the passenger seat.

"Hey, sweetie", Peter said to his daughter.

"Hi, Daddy", replied May. And she and Nora hopped into the car and they drove off of school property. But they weren't heading to either of their homes. They were leaving Midtown, straight to New York.

When Nora noticed that they weren't heading for her home, or May's, she asked, "Hey, Dad. Where are we going, and why are we heading for New York City?"

"Are we going to Coney Island early?" asked May.

"No, sweetheart", Peter chuckled. "Uncle Harry and I are gonna take you to a special place where I'll be teaching you to control your spider powers, and use them properly. And a group of my old friends will be there to help out, as well".

"And I'll help, too", said Harry. "And Nora, honey? You can also help out. As May's best friend, you can be there to support her. Because having a best friend who is as loyal and supportive as you girls are to each other is very important".

May and Nora smiled at their fathers, and then at each other.

"Sure, Daddy", said Nora. "I'd like to help. And it'll be awesome seeing you as Spider-Man again, Uncle Peter".

"Oh, yeah, Nora. Definitely!" said May. "So. Who are your old friends that are gonna help, Daddy?

"And where is this special place?"

Peter and Harry smiled.

"Just wait and see", Peter replied.

And soon after, they were crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and reached the island of Manhattan. And as they drove through New York City, Peter pointed towards a tall building a few blocks away from them. And it had a giant letter A on it.

"There it is, Mayday", said Peter. "There is the special place where I'll be teaching you everything you need to know about controlling your powers. And... where my old friends live".

"But, Daddy", said May. "That's Avengers Tower".

"Exactly, sweetheart. But think about it. My old friends, were also my old team".

May and Nora were thinking carefully. And then... they gasped!

"NO WAY!!" shouted Nora.

Then May shouted, "YOUR OLD TEAM WAS...?!"

"Oh, yeah, girls", Harry replied with a big smile on his face.

Then Peter said with pride, "My old friends, and team was...

"The Mighty Avengers!!"

The 2 excited girls shrieked happily as Harry drove the car into the open garage doors of the tower. And when they parked inside, Tony Stark was there waiting for them.

"Hey, Tony", said Peter, as he came out and hugged his old friend and mentor.

"Hey, Peter", Tony replied as he hugged back. "It's so good to see you again. We've all missed you. Especially Hulk".

"I've missed you guys, too".

"Iron Man?!" said Nora.

"And who is this pretty lady?"

"This is my daughter, Nora", said Harry, who was holding her hand.

"Nice to see you again, Harry."

"You too, Stark".

"I can't believe I'm really meeting you, Iron Man!"

"And it's nice to meet you too, Nora".

Nora has been a big fan of The Avengers as well as the other superheroes in New York, and around the world. Ever since her and May were in Kindergarten.

And May is a big superhero fan, too. And now that she knows that her father was Spider-Man, she will have the time of her life following in her father's footsteps.

"And you must be Spidey's girl, May", said Tony. Who noticed her being shy, and behind her father.

"Hi", she said.

"Last night, your dad called and told me and the team that your spider powers kicked in".

"Yeah. It was pretty weird at first, but I think that my powers are really cool!"

"I'm glad to hear that, kid. Because you guys are just in time. Everything is ready and all set up for you upstairs, May".

So everyone left the garage, and took the elevator up to meet the rest of The Avengers. But as they were heading up, May was starting to look worried, and she was holding her backpack tightly.

"You okay?" Nora asked.

"I don't know, Nora", she replied. "I'm just really nervous, I guess".

"There's nothing to be worried about, sweetheart", said Peter. "We will all be there for you. I promise.

"You'll be fine. And you can do this...

"Because you're not just my daughter, May. You're more than that now.

"You are my beautiful...

"And brave...

"Spider-Girl!"

May smiled happily! Then she hugged her loving father and said, "Thanks, Daddy! I feel much better...

"I love you".

"I love you, too, Mayday", Peter replied as he hugged back, and kissed her head.

"With all of my heart".

Spider-man's love for his daughter is his greatest superpower of all!
