Junior Pov:

"How can I say this in the politest and not so insulting way about my dad? I want to burn his face to the ground for not telling me I had to start dating when I came back to my mountain. What kind of idea is that? Offer my power to someone and expect them to be my queen for the realm? It's not fair for that monster or Kaiju to put them in danger since they might be a part of my life. And what of the ghouls? I bet they have a scream at learning about this and possibly putting me on a dating game to find someone who wouldn't mind dating a fire-breathing Kaiju who's constantly in trouble every day. I'm not going to tell them, that's it. This is my problem and something I need to figure out by myself without dragging anyone into it, the only ones who know it are Ceasar, Armor and Ghoulia. They won't interfere since they have their own things going on at school, all I need to do is figure out how I don't blow up and take half the school with me."

Morning-Courtyard

A new day had come to Monster High along shining upon the students who were excited in attending new classes as well learning the history of their ancestors and history of both homes. Right now near the Coffee Bean was Clawdeen, Draculaura and Frankie doing some schoolwork for Headmistress Bloodgood in handing out papers on events coming up and clubs for the freshmen to join up. While they were greeting the new bloods and handing out papers, Draculaura was feeling self doubt about what Toralei said about witches along what Ghidorah did to them when he attacked them. Even after the months she's spent practicing her magic and learning how to use it to help vampires, others still used it to harm others.

"Is this how it is when your around admirers? I thought it was because my look that Junior offered me to 'stand out'. Especially with the spikes on my shoulders."

Frankie asking Draculaura on how she's considered one of the popular ghouls of Monster High and complimenting the look they were wearing. She nodded to her reanimated friend as she didn't seem to be in the mood for talking due to her knowing about Wraith Silver and not telling her friends about it. Clawdeen who was handing out papers to the new students, she noticed how Draculaura was acting and couldn't help but feel concern for what she was handling the news about witch attacks.

"Still thinking about what Toralei said. You shouldn't worry about it, especially how I know your going be handling making the beast Fright Ball ever and taking the spotlight as it's queen."

Asking both if she was doing okay and how there wasn't need to worry about Toralei's statement about witches as she was going be the center of attention when she hosts the party. Along that she finds a date, then it might be possible for her to make witchcraft a course for Monster High in a way to help others understand it's not a frightening ideal but a misunderstanding of the practice.

"Sure. Anyone in the school would be lucky to be asking a vampire out who both happens to be the daughter of Dracula and studies magic that's responsible for countless wars against vampires as well other monsters in the human world."

Sounding not so optimistic about her situation since most of the school had heard of her studying witchcraft that was harmless unless she was practicing. Which she does in secret since the only ones who knew about her training was her friends and no one else, there was risk in letting her other friends knowing since it would lead Draculaura to do favors for them with her magic. They saw how the vampire reacted which left the vampire to sigh in annoyance that it was starting to bother her, which was unlike her sense she was levelheaded and calm in any situation happening around her.

"Well obviously they would. You two are both amazing friends as well good listeners, especially how you both have a reputation starting already on the internet. I hope to receive the same reception with my upgrades that my parents gave me, especially after I gave my mom a perm when she wanted to give me tips on changing eyes."

Frankie responds to Draculaura's idea of not being asked out since her and Clawdeen would be asked right away for how they would get dates for the Fright Ball. While adding how they could get noticed with the new upgrades Frankie received that would allow them to manipulate electricity from their fingertips without any need from electrical resources, seeing the reanimated ghoul showing an optimistic smile made them feel reassured about the dance coming up. Frankie didn't notice how they leaned against a metal pipe which reacted to the electricity within them, the three saw it traveling upwards and shocking none other than Junior who was able to absorb the energy and caused his scales to glow in a luminous manner.

"Sorry Junior."

Frankie apologizing for their action as the lizard boy merely shrugged it off as it seemed to be something he needed for the sleep he had last night. Which was eerie for his roommates due to how when he came back from Cleo's room, he only got to his bed without saying anything and placed headphones on so that he didn't hear the others conversation or talk with them after the startling news about his conversation with Caesar and Ghoulia.

"So what's with today's schedule then? Skin Toralei's fur so she stops making comments about witchcraft? Make Fright ball terrifying with me doing a performance by Ozzy Osbourne who is still and will be the prince of darkness? Whatever it is I'm all in."

He asked about two separate things that revolves getting payback for messing with Draculaura about witchcraft and how he'd perform for the dance as the trio noticed the anxious look on his face what they were doing right now. Clawdeen being the first one to respond to his odd suggestions, was handing him papers about the school grounds and how they needed to be handed out to the freshmen.

"Handouts. With so many new students coming, Bloodgood asked me to help hand out these papers to help them know the lay about of the school. Have to avoid those trash goblins and locker tentacles that started showing up."

Explaining about the task they were doing which left Junior to grumble at the meager work he had to do. Walking over to his side and began handing out papers, Clawdeen was confused with what was bothering him since last night after he returned back to the dorm.

"How did the conversation with Ghoulia went? Did she tell you anything important about your dad?"

Deciding to ask him straight out since they needed something to distract them while they handed out papers to the students passing by them. With how there weren't that many monsters and Kaiju around them, it seemed appropriate to them but in a way that he didn't bring up that he had to start dating since he'd never hear the end of it.

"That Ghidorah's dad is a jerk and has made his son hellbent on beating me and taking over as king? Because that's what Ghoulia warned me about since the two were considered the only Kaiju to make anyone afraid of them regardless of the title."

He responds back to her with an alternate answer since after they had left to attend classes, Junior decided to look into the rivalry between Gojira and Keizer in seeing how aggressive they were towards one another. Before the monsters came and becoming small, the two would always engage in combat whenever they met each other. Whether it was the sea or land the two would fight until one of them would make it out alive, yet none of them had land the final blow.

"Maybe this year you can focus on showing them what type of king you want to be, such as helping out with the Fright Ball dance. Not like I need more hands on it, but I can tell you could offer your music to the audience when things are settled."

Draculaura suggesting an idea for how he could make his people look to him as a leader leaving Junior to blow smoke out his nose since he had to ask someone out. Noticing the look on his face and doing their best to figure out the reason for Junior's expression, Frankie smiled in a numerous manner at what was happening.

"Is it because your nervous of displaying yourself in a formal manner compared to your usual self that relies on enjoying aggressive music and being territorial?"

Making the observation to Junior which left the lizard boy to not say anything due to how the real truth of it would be humiliating. Having no choice to Frankie's statement, he nods to the ghoul about how he 'felt' so that they didn't pander on about what the real reason for why he was acting distant from them.

"If it makes you feel better you can choose some human music to play at the ball, just nothing that's going have them lose their hair. Because most of them have a thing for eating hair, which is gross."

Draculaura offering him the opportunity on performing at Fright Ball since him being a king would require him to he formal for the night as well having himself being looked at his future subjects. While he didn't mind the attention, it was the fact that he would need to pick his future partner for the night since everyone would be speculating that he would need a date for the dance. Just as the four continued to hand out flyers, Draculaura noticed a vampire walking over towards her accepting it as well offering a smile at how it was a surprise to finding her here out in open.

"Wow. I'm sorry but it's an honor meeting you, especially how your famous around the school. Especially in studying witchcraft to help monster kind out despite the history between them and witches, my names Ellis."

He introduced himself to Draculaura along showing her amongst the set of books he had with him what seemed to be appear a grimoire in his possession. This caught her off by surprise seeing how he studied magic as well but in secret, with how there were more students coming over to greet the four and check out the flyers. Ellis takes his leave as well showing Draculaura that she wasn't the only one that supported the study of witchcraft at Monster High, Junior however who stood by the side saw the vampire boy walk off as well having a rather suspicious scent on him.

"He smells funny."

Junior expressed a suspicious tone towards the friendly vampire which made Draculaura confused since he never had a grip with any monster students. While she and the others would question this peculiar question, they continued to hand out flyers as well possibly encourage them about Fright Ball since it was an important event for everyone to attend a chance as well to enjoy the opening year in style.

Later-Cemetery

After spending several hours with the ghouls handing out papers as well hearing about Fright Ball along choosing someone to take. Junior felt himself ready to let out an energy attack and destroy a wall to let out some steam, though that was before he was around friends that he could talk to about his problems. Seeing how he needed help with this unusual matter and knowing one person that could help him, he invited Deuce to the cemetery since he's had history in being in a relationship as well what happens between two people. He had no choice but to explain his situation to the gorgon due to how his adoptive sister had a powerful parent that was known in the realm, it would be possible he'd have an answer for his problem.

"Wow. That's a lot of pressure, if you don't find someone that's compatible to be with then you blow up."

Deuce responding to Junior's explanation about how he needed to find someone compatible with him along sharing his powers with that individual. The reptile boy groaned at how Deuce responded to his dilemma since he barely had any type of relationship growing up since he moved around from place to place.

"That's not the point, well it is because I don't want to explode. But it's that I'm not used to open around many people, including the ghouls since they've been the only ones to accept me."

Responded back in a frustrated way as he didn't know what to do or rather how to present himself to the 'queen' he'd spend his life with. Deuce could see the conflict in him along how he was trying to accept the responsibility, yet the gorgon's snakes were able to sense something from the lizard. Deuce's snakes whispered into his ear as Lust was able to figure out what was wrong with him.

"You've found someone already. Haven't you?"

He asked Junior on having an idea on who'd he want to be with. With hearing that conclusion earned Deuce caused the reptile's scales to light up annoyed at the snakes being able to figure out in the ghoul he might be interested in, seeing how he was correct. The reptile boy quickly made his scales fade so he could explain himself to his friend.

"It's complicated. More likely I can't because I don't want to opposite the others because how things are going, and that it be uncomfortable."

Responding to his claim that he had someone in mind to ask out and possibly dating. With hearing that he might be interested in someone, Deuce decided to change the subject that Junior could help with since it resolved around his sister.

"Okay. I'll accept that, but maybe you can help me out with a problem I'm having. My sister has been acting up, been sleeping a lot and not focusing on anything. Do you know anything about Mothra before she passed away?"

Deuce explained the problems that have been happening to Mira which caught Junior's attention since Kaiju kids used their powers whenever they were upset or agitated. Out of the entire school, Mira was the pacifist of the Kaiju and kept to herself whenever there was conflict going on. He took a moment in thinking about her mother Mothra since he remembered reading up on the first Kaiju that made the realm welcomed to monsters.

"From what I can remember about Mothra, she was mostly worshipped as a goddess that healed anyone that was sick or injured. That's what most students have learned about her, from my perspective growing up. She had telepathy, but that could be a myth."

Summarizing his knowledge on Mothra due to how she was an important monster amongst the community and how she aided everyone that came to the realm. While that was common knowledge, Deuce knew there was more to Mira since he learned about her ability in seeing people's true emotions. Though this was something new and concerning that he didn't want to worry about. The two boys sat in silence about the problems they were having, along trouble on how to solve them.

"If we've handled the boring stuff my friend. Let's get to something more fun, like who you might want to take to Fright Ball."

Junior smirking at the question he asked Deuce as the gorgon was unable to respond to his question as all seven snakes began to his towards the lizard for the question. Deuce was able to calm them down since it was a sensitive topic due to his falling out with Cleo, yet Junior could tell there was more to that dilemma he was having.

"It's just because while I hang out with Caesar in Cleo's room, I saw something that interested me. She wasn't the one that broke up with you, you were the one to do it."

He informed him on how he saw something in the room that had him understand what happened between their breakup, Deuce was stunned by his comment and how he was able to learn how he was the one to do it first. Sighing at his claim, it seemed appropriate to tell him something personal since Junior had just shared his problem with him.

"What I did was to help her, and to make sure she didn't some gorgon as her boyfriend. It's called sacrifice, you'll learn about that when your with the ghoul you want to be with."

Deuce told him in a serious tone at how what he had done was to make sure Cleo would be respected as the mummy princess she was amongst the wealthy families he was around when he dated her. While he didn't know the full explanation behind it, Junior knew that it wasn't an easy choice to make. Along that he would have to learn about doing something he loved for the ghoul he was interested in when the moment would come to him.

Night Time

It had become night at Monster High and things had started to slow down with the students retreating back to their dorm rooms for a good night's sleep. All expect for Draculaura who was right now working on what would be used for the ball along the decorations and catering. She couldn't focus due to what Toralei said about witch attacks and how the conflict between them against monsters was still going on.

"I can't focus like this."

She told herself as she closes up her book due to the frustration that has built up from the fact that witchcraft was being used for hostile purposes when it could be used for other reasons. Which gave Draculaura the idea as she decided to try out a spell to help calm her nerves and lighten up since she needed something to calm herself from the stress that she's been experiencing.

"Dirt and dust and ash and mud. Form an ugly hater's mug."

Casting a spell as she had created an image of Toralei and Ghidorah who appeared frightening at first, only to change their appearance to a humorous one. Draculaura made the werecat look like a clown while making Ghidorah a worm. Amused by her work and feeling better, she heard a twig snapping from behind which made Draculaura lose focus and caused the images to disappear quickly as she turned around to see Ellis watching her display of magic in silence.

"My bad. I wasn't spying or anything like that, right now things were getting tensed inside because of those two's conversations of witchcraft being called a 'dirty human habit'. I had to get out of there."

He explained his reason for being out here this late which made Draculaura bare her teeth in annoyance at what the werecat said and no one standing up against her due to having Ghidorah as her enforcer. Though right now with him here it was a perfect time to ask about his possession of a grimoire when he introduced himself to her.

"Well since it's just us vampires, I think we both know how to get back at them. Especially if it involves a certain 'hobby' we both share."

Draculaura hinting at him with his own spell book as Ellis chuckled at her joke as he knew what she was getting at. Walking over to join her, the vampire boy calmed his thoughts before deciding to show off his own magic to the vampire princess.

"Bone and breath, hand in heel,make another one as real."

Saying his own spell which formed of that of blue smoke from both hands as they covered several rocks around the floor which began to come together. Draculaura saw how skilled Ellis was with his own style of witchcraft as the rocks formed two shapes which quickly changed into what appeared to be copies of Toralei and Ghidorah, while they didn't look like the originals. It was incredibly life like as the pair had smiles across all of their faces, Draculaura turned to Ellis surprised at how he was able to cast this difficult spell.

"It's an automaton spell. Sort of a dummy spell, but good for small tasks and mimicking anyone. The only downside they can be dopey."

Explaining how the spell worked as the automaton werecat and three headed dragon smiled in a funny manner as they waved to Draculaura which made the pink skin vampire laugh at the two waving at her. Looking over to Ellis, she couldn't help but be amazed at his skills in witchcraft since she didn't know there were other monster spell users like her.

"One of the reasons why I registered to Monster High was because of you. Witchcraft has been seen as a tool for destruction for centuries because of the war between monsters and witches, it can be used for more than just fighting."

Explaining his reasons for coming here and how she inspired him to practice witchcraft for good as well others who could be taught that it's more than simply a tool. Hearing those words made Draculaura speechless in meeting another vampire agreeing with her ideal along not afraid of it as well seeing there were ways to use it for the right reason.

"That's what I'm trying to do, but with how much talk there's been about 'witch attacks'. It seems unlikely to convince anyone else who sees it otherwise."

She responded with a different perspective as Draculaura stood up from her seat as she decided to check out the automatons to test something out. Moving her right hand towards them, they did the same as they mimicked her. Moving to the side she decided to try several of moves as the automaton twins followed the vampire's movement with each step, leaving her to try out something that could get her to forget her worries.

"I wish there was a spell I could use, to make all of this pressure go poof! What they expect of me is not the plan I see, and that just makes it hard to make a move."

Beginning to sing as she saw how they followed her step to step. Watching the vampire witch dancing to his automaton creations, Ellis requested if he could join her. Leaving her to accept the gesture seeing how it was nice be around another witch like herself.

"I comprehend, and I sympathize. It's like we're living parallel lives. Cause they don't understand, the power in our hands. And maybe they're too old to recognize."

Suggesting that most monsters and Kaiju that had been around continued to think of the old ways of how witchcraft was dangerous. Deciding to try out another spell, he makes several bolts of energy to light up the area around them. Draculaura was speechless at his control and felt excited seeing this display of magic.

"Look at you and me on the same side! Loving this bewitched state of mind It's too powerful to hide and there's a reason, we've got magic! And I know what to do with mine."

Singing together as well enjoying each other's company as they looked at the automatons seeing how they were able to keep up with them during the dance. Ellis suggests to Draculaura to try out his spell, leaving her to calm her thoughts and say the spell that he had said. Rearranging the rocks that made dummy Toralei and Ghidorah, she was able to change them into versions of herself and Ellis. The boy applauded her for the attempt and how she was natural with spells.

"I can't believe there's someone like you. Who's going through what I'm going through, the fact that you relate, and witchcraft is our fate. Imagine everything that we could do!"

She thought of with him by her side could help make witchcraft be seen as something good for monster kind. With how sync they had become, the two were able to project several bolts of magic lighting up the area in different shades of blue and pink. Changing them into different types of shapes, the vampires laughed at the fun they were having.

"Look at you and me on the same side! Loving this bewitched state of mind It's too powerful to hide and there's a reason, we've got magic! And I know what to do with, know what to do with. Know what to do with mine!"

Finishing the song which caused the spells they had cast to disappear revolving the lights to disburse and the automatons to return back to rocks. With her mod changing and knowing there was another witch like herself at Monster High, Draculaura could be around someone that understood her situation. Before the two could continue to speak with one another, they heard the bell ringing which was the curfew for all students to head back to the dorm rooms.

"Guess that means we have to head back to the dorms. Maybe we can talk tomorrow, possibly about making a case for Bloodgood to let witchcraft be used at Monster High."

Ellis suggesting which made the vampire girl nod due to the idea and wishing him a good night. With the two departing back to the school and to their rooms, they didn't notice from the forest was a red visor staring at them in the shadows as well two hooded figures spying on the spell using vampires. There was a soft chuckle from the red eyed creature as well being fascinated with what they had witnessed, along preparing to possibly have a 'meeting' with the vampires princess to see what she was capable of.
