Frankie Pov:

"There's much gossip going around the school about who will be king and queen of Fright Ball. It's anyone's guest since there many friends I know that would be fangtastic choices, but I think what might be difficult is what they'd request when they earn the titles. Maybe that's what bothers Junior since he's king, making difficult choices that could either turn out good or bad. That hasn't happen yet but I know he can make good choices, me? I wouldn't know where to start since I value everyone's opinions and choices when it comes to suggesting ideas that could help Monster High. Mine would be mad science cooking, my parents taught me how to make electrifying types of beverages and meals to help me take on the day. I think the one obstacle that be an issue is someone being with me during the moment, including that it be like a 'date'. Which I've never been on and might be terrified since I'm comfortable around my friends, still. There's always room to try new things since it's a new year."

Night time-Dorm rooms

Half of the school had gone to sleep and there was no sounds being made, except for one room which came from Clawdeen as she was getting texts from Cleo and her friends about her being a good choice for Fright Ball queen. With the reputation she's made being the first half human half monster and could come up with an idea that could make Monster High even more exciting. The wolf girl only sighs at how many messages she was getting since what she wanted was to enjoy the dance with her friends and not worry about anything else, all in the while across the other room was Junior on his guitar thinking about possible songs that he could do at the dance. Frankie was at their metal bed complicating about their situation for the dance and what they'd do, feeling confused about the moment as well unable to sleep. They had no choice but to speak out their problem to their roommates.

"Could ask you two something?"

Frankie spoke out sounding nervous about the feeling they were developing as Clawdeen nodded to the reanimated ghoul's question along Junior who merely sighed at how despite how polite they were. Frankie could say anything to either him or Clawdeen, no matter what the topic was or might be about.

"If it's about how you can get a pen shaped version of Clawdeen then just visit the computer labs. Cause that was freaky how one of her 'fans' gave her a mini Clawdeen."

Junior commenting if it was about this morning during how they were handing out papers to the new students, one of them offered Clawdeen a gift which was a 3D print figure of herself which took her by surprise. Though that didn't seem to be the case as Frankie shook their head at his response, seeing that it was a personal question.

"Do you think someone would ask me out to Fright Ball?"

Telling them their question to the two which caught both Junior and Clawdeen by surprise it was a shock to hear the doubt in Frankie's tone. Clawdeen herself looked upset at the notion of no one asking them out to the dance since they were fantastic and brilliant in whatever they had done.

"Who made you say that? Was it Toralei?"

Clawdeen asked in response to how the werecat had been getting under everyone's skin lately and trying to convince monsters to be against witchcraft. Hearing if she was messing with Frankie made her ready have a 'talk' with the werecat for messing with them. Frankie shook their head at the werewolf's suggestion since they were the ones to think of the question.

"Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, 'The purpose of life is not to be happy, but to be useful'. To make a difference that your here than just standing around, and with the new upgrades I got I thought it be possible I could be more monster than last year. I'm just questioning if it might be too much."

They explained their question along quoting a human thinker that thought of how people could help out in others' lives. Along with brining up how electrically charged to light up the entire school if there was a blackout, it be impossible to be close to someone to ask out or being asked to Fright Ball. While Clawdeen would be happy to answer their friend's dilemma, she noticed Junior wanting to be the one to say it since he had experience in dealing with confrontations whether it was being good or bad.

"That is the first dumb thing you've said since we've started hanging out. Your perfect the way you are, along that those upgrades you got are just to help show off that shocking personality of yours. Whoever asks you out will be lucky to be with you, otherwise I'll break them."

The reptile boy responding to Frankie's question as he was right to the point and that he valued them as a ghoul of brains as well positivity when it came to cheering anyone up. While adding onto that if anyone would bother them, he'd personally would change their minds on how they viewed Frankie. Hearing his words made the reanimated ghoul almost speechless at how he meant what said, especially how he meant making sure no one made them feel upset or sadden with the upgrades they'd required. Clawdeen smiled at his response to Frankie's question along with her doing what he'd do since Frankie would be amazing choice for someone to take out to Fright Ball.

"Thank you, really."

Frankie complementing the two and hiding what looked like a blush at how the two were able to help them out along feeling comfortable for the support they gave them. Junior took a moment to check if Draculaura would be coming back, he took the chance and grabbed a set of new clothes so he could take a quick shower.

"If Draculaura comes back, tell her I called dibs on the bathroom. She's already got a cauldron to work on potions, I don't want her turning the bathtub into an ox or making it walk around on all four."

He told Clawdeen and joking a bit with her as the werewolf responded with a pillow throw since she remembered the bathroom incident from the first year and didn't need another memory of it again. The two shared a laugh before Junior headed into the bathroom to take his shower, this left the wolf girl to be by herself since the pep talk they gave to Frankie allowed them to go sleep with ease. Leaving her with her own thoughts of who would be a pick for her to take if she was nominated as Fright Ball queen. Seeing how her Icoffin was being blown up with messages and needing to sleep, Clawdeen texts her friends she'd speak with them tomorrow and would figure something out when they were face to face. Getting comfortable in bed and preparing to sleep, she heard what sounded like the door opening from side thinking it was Draculaura who was coming into the room.

"You almost missed curfew. It's lucky that you have someone watching over you."

She said to whoever came into the room as she thought it was Draculaura and how the school itself was Pandora's spirit watching over the vampire due to how she was excelling at her practice in witchcraft. Not knowing that it was three figures drape in black cloaks covering their appearances, keeping silent and walking over to Draculaura's coffin. They opened it to see if the vampire princess was inside, only to find no one which took them by surprise as they heard the door open which was Draculaura herself who noticed the three figures around her area of the room.

"What?"

Questioning the moment as Clawdeen heard her voice who was right by the door and looking over to the side of the room at the intruders. She quickly grew her claws out and leapt out of bed to stand in front of Draculaura in a protective manner towards the three who might have been after her friend.

"Who are you?!"

Roaring at them in a hostile tone which jump scared Frankie to wake up and accidentally let out a charge of electrically that made the entire room filled with electricity. Bolts were moving across the walls and keeping the three intruders at a distance, especially Clawdeen who lets out a roar to show that she wasn't afraid to confront them if they had any intention on hurting Draculaura. Two of the figures turned to smoke before making a leave through the window, only one of them to remain as the hooded figure lifted its head showing a red visor through the hood.

"You have have such sharp claws. Want to see mine?"

He asked the werewolf as he lifted his right arm to show what looked like a hook appendage. The ghouls didn't know how to react towards the figure as they prepared for anything, but not before seeing Junior rushing out of the bathroom shirtless with trunks on and tackling the attacker as the two crashed outside of the window to roll across the rooftiles and rolling out to the forest due to the momentum Junior had built up. They had stopped rolling as Junior had the attack in on the ground as well him glowing with energy as he was ready to blast the attacker for what he had done.

"You better have an explanation for what you were about to do, because I'll burn your face for trying to attack my friends!"

Shouting at the attack as the hood came off the attacker to show what looked like neither Kaiju nor monster. He had a metal beak and two metal pinchers around his face along one on top of his head, he had no eyes but what looked like a visor that was dark red. His skin was green with scars around the side showing he had been in many fights.

"Attack? More like scare. You? I'd rather much fight myself."

Responding to the king's question as Junior heard a buzzing sound coming from the creature's chest. Unable to react towards what was making the sound, he felt a blade attacking his chest as it was strong enough to cut through his scales as Junior moved away seeing how he was surprised by the hidden weapon. Moving back and seeing how most of his chest was cut up, he looked over to see the spinning blade on the stranger's chest had ruin the cloak around him. The attacker removed his disguise showing himself as it was shocking sight to see, the attacked resembled a mixture of a Kaiju and aquatic monster but with having a rotating buzzsaw on his chest and two silver hooks attached to his limbs.

"To answer your little wolf's question on who I am, it's Gigan. Cyborg kaiju and wraith silver warrior, ready to end all witches for good!"

Introducing himself and his mission as he had intent on killing Draculaura with the blades he had on his body. Rushing at him swiftly, Junior avoided the swings that Gigan threw at him as well seeing how precise he was with each swing going for a vital part of his body. Taking a moment to walk behind a tree, he ducked from one of the hooks and saw how sharp they were as the metal was sharp enough to cut down the tree. Taking the chance, Junior rushed behind it and pushes it down allowing it to topple over Gigan.

"Enjoy nature up close buddy."

Making a quip towards Gigan as the tree fell right over Gigan and possibly crushing him. Thinking that the tree had stopped him, he didn't noticed from underneath the bark was a red light glowing underneath as it split the tree in half. Gigan rose up with a smirk on his face as well sharpening his claws for another attack.

"Lasers? You have lasers?!"

Junior asked in an annoyed tone of how that was the last thing to expect as Gigan ran at him with incredible speed as the cyborg lets out several slashes at Junior leaving the wraith silver to wound him badly. Blocking each attack and waiting for the right moment, he tail slaps Gigan across the side giving him space to recuperate from the cuts as the surprise attack had gotten him angry.

"Guess I was able to strike the king's nerves. Maybe I'll get to see the killing blow you gave to Komos and see if my lasers can cut you down before your blast kills me."

Gigan noticing how Junior's scales began to glow along getting him riled up about his attack taking out his old teacher. Remembering what he did and how he felt himself charge up along readying to attack, Junior unleashes a fiery blue blaze from his mouth allowing Gigan to shoot red lasers from his visors as the two were evenly matched. Holding his ground and not moving, Gigan moved closer forcing Junior's blast to shrink back into his mouth.

"You're holding back Godzilla Junior! You could end me right now if you want, but you don't want to take a life now do you? You don't want anyone to see you as a killer like your father was. More importantly, you don't want those ghouls your fond of to fear you?!"

Continuing to let out insults at him and telling him how he wouldn't be seen the same if the ghouls learned about how he killed him. Unable to control himself as well shrinking his energy, Junior took the risk and gets a face full of laser. Only to headbutt Gigan and to grab him by the hooks, gripping them tightly and placing his foot on his chest. Junior used all his strength to rip off the metal hooks off Gigan's appendages and throw him against the floor. Feeling both almost out of breath and unable to think of another way to defend himself, Gigan wasn't angered by the loss of his hooks but laughed at the brutal attack he had just been in.

"That's it isn't it? The ghouls are your weakness. Maybe I should give them another visit, see if they can put up a fight."

Commenting on how he'd finish him off and taking another stab at facing off Draculaura as well the other ghouls. Walking towards Junior who kept on his feet and unable to respond to the approaching cyborg, the two didn't see above them was electricity coming from the sky electrocuting Gigan causing the cyborg Kaiju to yell in pain from the attack. Taking a moment to look at his mysterious savior, it was Ghidorah who came in to handle the violent Kaiju that was giving him a challenge.

"We will not allow a sadistic creature like you take our right as king."

The middle head said to Gigan as the electrocuted cyborg was unable to handle the three headed dragon as he quickly made a dash back into the forest avoiding the confrontation. Unable to purse the chase, Kevin looked over to see if Junior was alright has his hands were bleeding from the wraith silver hooks he continued to hold on.

"We need to get you into the infirmary."

He suggested as he look to his brothers on helping him out as they walked over to aid Junior to his injuries he had received from Gigan. Helping out the lizard boy back to Monster High, they saw how the lights had been turned off along hearing panic in the building. Along with that this attack wasn't towards Junior in the claim to become king of the Kaiju, but of going after Draculaura due to her studies in witchcraft.

Later-Headmistress's office

Getting the treatment to look after his wounds, Junior was able to join up with the others who had been brought into Bloodgood's office who stood in front of her along with vice principal Varan due to how he might knowledge on the 'cyborg' that tried to attack Draculaura. The four students looked at the headmistress's head on the table as she was figuring out how to approach this matter.

"This is impossible, more or less that portals are only can be used by monsters and Kaiju's due to Pandora's witchcraft. To have it undone would have to come from some as just as powerful as she was."

Commenting that the portals could not be used unless it was either a monster or Kaiju and possibly a being of great power. Placing her head back on her shoulders, Bloodgood was trying to figure out how it was possible. More importantly looking at Draculaura who had seemed to be the target of the attackers unexpected arrival.

"I've already been informed on the situation with the studying of witchcraft, but what would they gain from attacking Draculaura?"

Varan questioned the moment since he was brought up with last year's incident of the vampire studying witchcraft and having her magic taken by Komos. It was difficult to discuss the matter due to how her practices have made her stronger in casting spells, it could be possible that it had drawn the attention of witches who might have heard of her from the shadows.

"Maybe it wasn't at her directly. They could have gone to any room; it could have been random."

Clawdeen standing up for Draculaura and suggesting that the attack wasn't aimed at her roommate. Before they could come to their friends defense, the group heard the door opening up showing what looked like an angry mob of students along the gang's friends checking over to see if any of them were injured. Especially Junior since he was the only one that took the most attacks from Gigan's blades, across the room was Toralei and Ghidorah who led the other students into the office room.

"This is a private meeting between only us, all students will get immediate detention if you all don't retreat back to your rooms."

Bloodgood telling the students as she saw how many of them were the freshmen that arrived to Monster High along wanting questions about the blackout that happened. Toralei, who seemed in charge of the group decided to respond towards the headmistress due to how serious the matter was.

"Headmistress Bloodgood. This doesn't involve just them but all of us, witches attack Monster High and one of them had a creature that was armed with wraith silver. The same one that gave me my scar, seeing how I've been noticed by my fellow classmates as Fright Ball queen. It's my responsibility to look after them and handle the matter."

The werecat stated her claim and looking over to Draculaura who was the source of the problem as she was responsible for bringing the attackers to school. Clawdeen being by her side couldn't handle it as she decided to approach the hostile ghoul for what she was claiming at.

"The only time you've ever decided to look after something was yourself and anything you wanted to take. So I'd suggest that your careful with what you say because I'm still ready to let out my own style of handling problems."

She responded towards Toralei's accusation of Draculaura being responsible which left Ghidorah's right head to come in to look at the werewolf dead in the eyes seeing how aggressive she had become. Everyone saw the tension building up as the dragon looked at Clawdeen and noticed how she wouldn't back down from him.

"You're only saying that because she's the reason why your still here. If you hadn't decided to try and fit in and learn about the vampire's interest in witchcraft. She would be the reason for this attack and thinking you could handle. Not like your 'dino boy' who failed miserably and us coming in to save his scaled butt."

Commenting of how dependent she was of Draculaura due to how her help allowed her to remain at Monster High if she didn't help her acknowledge her witchcraft out in the open. While Clawdeen snarled at the right head of Ghidorah and thinking of several words she could say about him, there was a crunching sound being made as it came from the chair that Junior was sitting on as he broke the arms right off the seat. While he may have been injured from the attacks he got from Gigan, he stood up and walked towards Ghidorah and stared directly at each head seeing how he wanted them to get his full attention.

"Kevin, how would you like to be a body to yourself?Because I'm this close away from ripping your brothers heads for talking to my friends like if they were going start fighting."

He questioned Kevin who remained silent as the three heads glared at Junior for the comment as both boys started to charge up with energy. The students in the office moved back witnessing the power struggle between them as well seeing which of them would back down due to how they were evenly matched in power and strength.

"Coming to aid of monsters I see, will you do the same to Kaiju's if your little bat tries to use spells? Seeing how you want to protect her it's no wonder your fond of her, must make the others jealous since you hang around them so much."

The middle head suggesting his interest in Draculaura than the others which made most of the students gasp at the comment as Junior bared his teeth at Ghidorah as well readying to attack him. Before the two could engage in a fight, they heard a neighing sound coming from Nightmare who made sure to stop the tension from erupting and turning Bloodgood's office into a full on fight. Taking the opportunity to her hands and getting the chance to speak out first, Toralei walked over to suggest an idea to settle the matter.

"There's a way we can settle things seeing how Junior was the one to act first towards the witch attack. An Kaiju fight, if he wins against Ghidorah. I'll drop everything I've say about witch attacks and not bring it up, but if he loses. Then there should be a ban on studying witchcraft and not letting it be in the halls of Monster High."

Commenting that she'd cease any comments on witchcraft and respect Draculaura's right to read it without any type of objection towards her. While also bringing up the consequences as this had the vampire worried since it was a difficult decision to make, Junior looked over to her as well the others seeing if they'd trust him in handling it. Most of them had confidence in him handling Ghidorah, though there was doubt from Draculaura as she didn't want him to risk this if it leads her to not continue her witchcraft. Looking to Bloodgood who was in shock to see this agreement being made, she looked at the two boys seeing how they were willing to take the risk as the headless headmistress nodded to the deal.

"If that is a way to handle this issue, then we will have to take it to the arena. Tomorrow in the afternoon, this room alone will attend the challenge. No one else will be involved in."

Bloodgood allowing the match to happen as she ordered the students to return back to their dorm rooms so they could get some sleep. Meanwhile for Toralei and Ghidorah, the pair glared at the group around Junior and the others before making their exit. Not knowing about what has just happened in front of them as well having struck a deal that could turn out good or bad. Junior only hoped that Draculaura could forgive him if he loses the fight tomorrow due to the injuries he had suffered from would not affect him during the fight.
