After their arrival at that mysterious location, the gang decided to climb the mountainous structure so they could find out where they were and possibly how to get back home, as it appeared the tornado had taken them to a place they were unfamiliar with.

"I hope whatever is up there is worth it." said Cera.

"I don't know why, but I have a feeling it will." said Littlefoot confidently.

That's when Spike started sniffing the air.

"What is it, Spike? Do you smell something?" asked Ducky.

"Yes, I smell something too." said Chomper sniffing the air.

"What is it?" asked Ruby.

"I'm not quite sure. I've never smelled anything like it before." said Chomper.

"That means we're close." said Littlefoot.

The gang continued to move forward a bit until they reached their destination and as soon as they saw what was ahead, their eyes widened.

In front of them was a huge grassy meadow with some rocks, but the most striking thing was that there were some strange buildings and around some of them were creatures they had never seen before.

"What this place?" said Petrie.

"And what would those creatures be over there? They don't look like anything I haven't seen before like the ones over there" said Ruby.

"Well, we've seen what's here, now what?" asked Cera.

"I don't know. Maybe…" began Littlefoot.

"Aha! Gotcha!" said a female voice.

Alarmed at the thought of being discovered, the gang quickly hid behind a huge rock.

Peeking out, they saw that the voice came from an unknown creature that was on two legs, had some strange things on its body, and on its head was something growing up to its back.

It was then that they realized that this creature wasn't talking to them, which was a relief to the gang, but was talking to some sort of doll and the creature was carrying a wooden sword and a circular cap.

"Did you think you could do whatever you wanted in my presence?" asked the creature pointing her wooden sword at the doll. "Well, you're wrong! As a knight of the king, it is my duty to be alert for anything! Now, defend yourself, evildoer!" said the creature before charging towards the doll.

However, she ended up tripping over a small stone, causing she to fall straight to the ground with a groan.

That made Cera couldn't help but laugh.

Unfortunately, she laughed so loudly that the creature could hear her.

"Who's there?" asked the creature rising quickly with her sword in hand.

The gang immediately hid behind the rock to try to escape its sight, but then, they realized something.

"Wait, where's Spike?" asked Littlefoot in a low voice.

Peeking out from behind the rock, they all gasped under their breath when they saw that Spike was out in the open and eating the grass on the ground as if nothing was wrong.

"Show yourself right now! I'm not afraid of you!" said the creature looking around.

Luckily, she didn't notice that Spike was right behind her… until he let out a small burp, which caused her to startle as she spun around quickly, pointing her sword at the spiketail who froze at that.

"Oh, no." said Chomper quietly.

"Do not stand there, Spike. Run." said Ducky in a low voice trying to get her brother to react, but he was so scared and paralyzed that all he could do was shiver in fear.

The creature was completely shocked, as she wasn't expecting something like what she was seeing.

From the looks of him, she could tell he was very young and right now he was very scared because she was pointing a weapon at him.

Wooden, but it was a weapon.

Understanding what was happening, slowly and calmly, she knelt down in front of Spike and put her sword and shield aside.

"Easy, little one. I'm not gonna hurt you." said the creature extending her hand towards him.

Spike closed his eyes expecting something painful, but as soon as the creature's hand reached out to him, she began to stroke his head, which made Spike calm down.

"I'm sorry I scared you. It's just that you surprised me." said the creature with a smile.

Seeing that she was someone very kind, Spike approached her and started licking her face, making her laugh a little.

"Haha. Stop. You're tickling me." began the creature pulling him away from her. "Tell me, are you alone, little one?"

"He isn't. No, no, no."

The creature turned her head to the side to see Ducky and the rest of the gang coming out from behind the rock and standing next to Spike.

"Spike, I have told you many times not to stay away from me. Your appetite brings us a lot of trouble." said Ducky scolding her little brother who let out an apologetic groan.

Needless to say, the creature was surprised, as she didn't expect such a thing.

"Uh… Wait, can you talk?" asked the creature.

"Well, you can too and it's not unusual for us that you can too." said Ruby.

"Heh. I guess you're right. Who are you anyway?" asked the creature.

"I'm Littlefoot and these are my friends." said Littlefoot.

"My name is Cera." said Cera.

"I am Ducky and you know my little brother, Spike." said Ducky.

"Me Petrie." said Petrie.

"I am Chomper." said Chomper.

"Greetings, I'm Ruby. I'm Ruby, greetings." said Ruby.

"And what is your name?" asked Littlefoot.

"My name is Kayley." began the creature introducing herself. "If you don't mind, can you tell me what you are?"

"We are dinosaurs." said Littlefoot.

"Dinosaurs? I've never heard of creatures by that name." said Kayley.

"Well, we never see anything like you either." said Petrie.

"By the way, where are we?" asked Littlefoot.

"We're in England." said Kayley.

"England?" asked Littlefoot in confusion.

"Looks like that storm got us farther than we thought." said Chomper.

"Storm?" asked Kayley.

"We were eating quietly at our home, the Great Valley, when a big storm came in." said Ducky.

"We managed to take cover in a log, but then a strange tornado came along and swept us into the air." continued Cera.

"The next thing that happened was we ended up here and we met you which was the next thing that happened." finished Ruby.

"Wow. So are you lost?" asked Kayley.

"I guess so and we don't know which way to go back." said Littlefoot a little sadly.

Kayley felt a little sorry for them, for despite their non-human appearance, they were a group of children far from home.

She knew what it was like to lose a parent and didn't want them to suffer the same.

As she thought of something to help them…

"Kayley!"

A more mature female voice caught everyone's attention.

"Uh oh. Hurry, hide." said Kayley.

Despite being confused by that, the gang scampered back to the rock to hide while Kayley stood up and clasped her hands behind her back with a nervous smile just as a woman arrived.

"Kayley, what are you doing?" asked the woman.

"Uh… I was just… doing my housework." Kayley said nervously.

The woman looked at her with a narrowed gaze until she noticed the wooden sword on the floor.

"Playing knights again?" asked the woman crossing her arms.

"I wasn't playing. I was training." said Kayley.

"Kayley, we've been over this." said the woman.

"But mom, you know I've always wanted to go to Camelot and become a knight of the Round Table to protect the king and the kingdom." said Kayley.

"Kayley, let's not talk about it anymore. Go perform your housework." said the woman before leaving.

Kayley let out a sigh of frustration at what her mother said.

Seeing that she was gone, the gang came out of hiding.

"That was your mother?" asked Littlefoot.

"Yes, she was. *Sigh* Anyway, back to my housework." said Kayley grabbing a bucket full of water and leaving, with the gang at her side.

"Hey, what's this Camelot thing?" asked Cera.

"Haven't you heard about it?" asked Kayley.

"Well, so far we haven't seen creatures like you, so we haven't heard of places like the one you mentioned either." said Ruby.

"Makes sense. Follow me and I'll tell you the story." said Kayley.

"Oh, I love stories. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

Kayley led the gang to the barn where she poured the water from the bucket into a larger bucket for the cows there to drink from.

Once she finished that, she sat down on a pile of hay, with the gang sitting in front of her like a storyteller.

"You see, a long time ago, England was a place full of chaos and violence because there was no king to rule." said Kayley beginning the story.

"A king? Is that like the leader of a pack?" asked Littlefoot.

"Yes, that's right. It seemed like there was no hope until one day, there appeared a magic sword stuck in a stone. That sword was known as Excalibur and it was said that whoever managed to pull the sword out of the stone, would become the king of all England." said Kayley.

"Really? Just by pulling something out of a stone you become king? Even I could do that." said Cera.

"Don't think so. Many tried to draw the sword, but they all failed, even those who considered themselves the strongest in the kingdom." said Kayley.

"Wow. If they couldn't, then it is truly magical." said Chomper.

"However, one day, an orphan boy appeared and then, he got to do something that no one managed to do in years. Pull the sword out of the stone." said Kayley.

"Who was boy?" asked Petrie.

"His name was Arthur and by pulling out the sword, he became king and managed to unite the whole kingdom. Together they formed the kingdom of Camelot." said Kayley.

"Earlier you said something about a Round Tablet. What is that about the Round Tablet?" asked Ruby.

"The Round Table is an order of knights in Arthur's service who swear an oath to fight for their king, his kingdom and his people. All treating each other with equality and respect." said Kayley.

"And you want to be one of them?" asked Littlefoot.

"Yes, I do." said Kayley with a smile.

"Well, what a knight you are if you stumble like that." said Cera laughing as she remembered the girl's stumble earlier.

"Hey. I was just practicing." began Kayley with a slight blush of embarrassment and folding her arms before sighing deeply. "I wish my dad was here."

"What happened to him?" asked Littlefoot sensing there was something sad in the explanation.

"Ruber, one of the knights of the round table, tried to kill the king. They managed to stop him… but my father died in the process." said Kayley sadly at the memory.

The gang felt sorry for her, especially Littlefoot, as he understood her pain.

"I understand how you feel. I lost my mother long ago when she protected me." said Littlefoot, surprising the girl who patted him on the head to try to comfort him.

"But your mother said you weren't going to be a knight. No, no, no." said Ducky.

"Yeah, well, to her, I'm still a child who needs protection. She wants me to stay here and do my housework and be the damsel she thinks I am." said Kayley with her arms crossed.

"Why do you listen to her when that's not what you want?" asked Ruby.

"Because she says so." said Kayley.

"Hohoho. Me understand. When me mom wants me to do something, she says 'Because me say so'." said Petrie.

Petrie

If me wanna go play on a dripply day

And me mother say me can't go.

When me ask her why,

she look me in the eye and say,

'Because me say so'

Oho, me can't say no.

Ducky

When your mamma says stay,

you cannot go.

Petrie

Me have to do what she want me to.

Cera

Why?

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

Because she say so.

Say so.

Say say so.

"Heh. Looks like you have similar problems too." said Kayley.

"Yeah, but I think your mom does that because she's worried about you." said Littlefoot.

Littlefoot

Wisdoms are important.

Cera

But not much fun.

Chomper

And I'm gonna learn them.

Ruby

Everyone?

Littlefoot

And if you're smart,

you'll learn them too.

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

Why?

Cera

'Cause Littlefoot...

Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper and Ruby

Say so.

Say so.

Say say so.

Say so.

Say say so.

Say so.

Say say so.

Cera

Why?

Ducky, Petrie and Cera

Because he

say so.

"I totally understand, but if she think she can keep me here forever, she is very wrong. I plan to leave here someday and be a knight whether she want to or not." said Kayley.

"However, there are times when her advice can be helpful." said Chomper.

"Yep, yep, yep. My mother often tells me to keep my eyes and ears open." said Ducky.

"And because of that, we stay alive." said Petrie.

"Although some of that advices are stricter than they sound. Especially the ones my folks give me." said Cera.

Cera

My folks are always telling me all the things I oughta do.

Like, 'Don't climb up if you can't get down'.

They call that a 'Gotta do'.

Egad, it makes me mad!

Why do I have to listen to my dad?

Littlefoot

Because he knows what's good for you.

Cera

All I hear is,

'Gotta do,

Gotta plan ahead'.

Petrie

Gotta work together.

Ducky

Ow!

Don't sit on a prickly thorn

Littlefoot

Listen to your folks

'cause they know better.

Cera

If something's in your way

bump it with your horn,

bump it with your horn.

The gang

Hey ho.

We know it's true.

The wisdoms say what's right to do.

Cera

But do I have to hear them from you too?

The gang

Say so.

Gotta, gotta, gotta.

Hey ho.

We know it's true.

The wisdoms say what's right to do.

Littlefoot

They're good for me.

Ducky

And you.

Petrie

And you.

The gang

Gotta gotta do.

What the say so's say to do.

Cera

Bump it!

The gang

Gotta do.

The gang

Gotta do.

We gotta do.

Cera

Bump it!

When she got to the last part, Cera rammed into a pile of hay, causing the whole pile to scatter as if in an explosion, causing everyone to be left with some hay on them, which made everyone burst out laughing.

"You know? Since you have nowhere to go, how about staying the night here?" asked Kayley as they got the hay off their backs.

"Really? We wouldn't cause a nuisance?" asked Littlefoot.

"Not at all. In fact, I could use some company other than the usual." said Kayley.

"Well, I guess spending the night here won't be such a bad idea." said Chomper.

"That way, when it's tomorrow, we'll be well rested to leave when it's tomorrow." said Ruby.

"And what about your mother?" asked Ducky.

"Out of sight, out of mind. Besides, it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission." said Kayley with a smile.

"Thank you, Kayley." said Littlefoot.

"You're welcome." said Kayley.

The gang felt better.

They might not know where exactly they were or which way to go back home, but they were glad to at least have a new friend to help them even a little.

Camelot.

A kingdom that serves as a symbol of union and brotherhood.

Founded by the people in honor of the one who pulled Excalibur from the stone, King Arthur Pendragon.

For years he has been ruling England with justice and kindness with the help of his advisor, the wizard Merlin and his knights of the Round Table.

That same night, a meeting was being held in the room where that order was located.

"In the ten years since Sir Lionel's death, equality, and freedom, have spread throughout the lands." began Arthur speaking to his knights who were all seated around the Round Tablet.

"Excalibur, has given us the strength to stand together against all injustice." said Arthur receiving applause from the knights, but they stopped as soon as their king raised his hand.

"Camelot has prospered beyond our greatest dreams." said Arthur just as something sounded from the roof, drawing everyone's attention.

Looking up, they saw that the cause was a huge half-eagle, half-lion creature, which extinguished the torches as he flew down.

The knights drew their swords, preparing to fight as the creature stood on the table.

"It's a griffin." said one knight recognizing the creature.

It was then that the griffin focused his gaze specifically on Excalibur.

Arthur noticed this and reached for his sword as the griffin kept his gaze focused on him and the sword.

Arthur was about to reach for his sword, but then the griffin took a bite and grabbed the sword, damaging the king's arm, which groaned in pain.

Before they could react, the griffin flew away with the sword.

A couple of knights approached Arthur to help him.

"Never mind me! Find Merlin and go after the sword!" said Arthur.

Soon after, the griffin shot out through the ceiling of the hall.

"Don't let it escape!" shouted someone as the archers set their arrows on fire.

All the archers shot their flaming arrows, but the griffin flew high and fast enough to escape them all.

"Send word across the land: Excalibur's been stolen!" shouted one soldier to another standing next to a huge horn.

Wasting no time, said soldier blew the horn loudly as the gates of Camelot would open to allow the knights mounted on their horses to ride off in search of the griffin.

"Go out in search of him!" shouted one knight.

"Who could have done such a thing?" asked another knight.

It was then that Merlin, the court magician and Arthur's faithful advisor, arrived.

"Silver Wings, protect the sword!" said Merlin.

The griffin continued his flight until he passed over a strange forest.

He flew calmly with the sword in his claws, for no one would be able to reach him.

However, a brief flash could be seen in the sky and suddenly, something flew past the griffin's head, hitting it in the process and startling him.

Responsible for this was a small falcon whose wings had a silver rim.

The falcon flew back to the griffin and swiped at him with its talons, causing the griffin to drop the sword in surprise.

The griffin, very angry, wanted to chase the falcon for revenge, but he knew that the most important thing was the sword, which was falling, so he took off in a dive to retrieve it.

Unfortunately, the sword ended up falling into a forest of thorns, to his horror which was increased when from that forest came out a branch hands with thorns trying to catch him.

Quickly the griffin rose a little to escape the hands.

Unfortunately, he knew he had to retrieve the sword, so he moved a little closer to try to find it, but in the process, a hand grabbed his wing and pulled to drag the griffin down.

The griffin pulled hard to try to free himself, even bit the hand, but another hand grabbed his other wing before he lost his grip.

As the griffin tried to free himself from the first hand, another hand grabbed one of his hind legs, but the griffin broke free.

The falcon flew by and saw that the griffin managed to free himself from the grip of his wing before another hand grabbed his hind leg, but the griffin broke free and seeing that there was no way to get close without being in danger, decided to leave.

Seeing that he was gone, the falcon flew off into the forest below without suffering any harm.
