Chapter 31

Naruto balled up his fist and punched down hard on the stone still lodged in his attacker's leg. A pained scream reverberated through the cell, and the grip in his hair slackened. Naruto tore himself free and scrambled to the far side of the cell, pressing his back firmly against the wall.

He needed a plan, a good one, but his mind was busy flooding his thoughts with horrific images of all of the things this man intended on doing to him. Naruto forced the thoughts back, unable to stomach them at the moment. Besides, it didn't help to focus on it. All he could do was fight to stay away from the guy and come up with another way to escape.

He eyed the dagger jutting out from the man's leg as he straightened. He needed that weapon again. If he could get his hands on it, he might be able to incapacitate him long enough to get the key and escape.

Honestly, if he could just tear it free that would help his situation a lot. The guy might even bleed out before he could do anything else.

Just get that fucking rock back.

"You must think you're pretty clever" the man rasped, clearly in pain but refusing to give in. "But this" his eyes flicked down to the makeshift dagger in his leg, "this won't stop me."

He took a step towards the blonde, and Naruto quickly shuffled to the side to keep his distance. "Don't you get it?!" Naruto shrieked, fear sharpening his voice. "Orochimaru will kill you for this! Is that really what you want!?"

A cruel grin twisted the man's features. "You want to know what I want?" he asked, his voice thick with hidden meaning.

Naruto knew what he was getting at and swallowed back the revulsion rising in the back of his throat. He shook his head as he scooted further away. "Don't" he said weakly. He looked up into the man's face despite how fearful it made him feel. "Don't do this.."

"You don't seem to understand the position you're in. The position I'm in." He took another step towards him, and Naruto was quick to counter it.

It didn't seem to bother the guy in the least.

"There's something about having someone so small and helpless, locked up like this.. It goes beyond what I should do, beyond what happens next. It's.." He paused, mulling over his words. His eyes flashed with excitement as he found the right one.

"Primal. It's a deep primal want. To conquer, to mount-"

Naruto flinched.

"Just knowing I can do anything I want to you.." he bit his lip in anticipation, "there is no greater feeling."

He lunged and Naruto quickly scrambled to get away. And he almost did.

Almost.

Kakashi watched with utter apathy as the snake spun around, taking in the illusionary world he had been dragged into. His reptilian eyes finally fell on his silver-haired warden. It was clear that he was trying to seem unconcerned, angry even, but his eyes gave him away.

Kakashi could see his fear clear as day.

Orochimaru knew that this was about to be unpleasant, but Kakashi doubted he knew just how bad it could get.

As it turned out, Orochimaru had good reason to fear being there.

Sai slipped free of the snake and stumbled back, eager to put space between them.

This.. this was something he hadn't anticipated.

He figured that Orochimaru would be desperate, that he would lash out in his fear to get Kabuto back, but he was not aware that Kabuto was one of the snake's victims. And he didn't expect Orochimaru to try to take him as well.

He also didn't expect to feel what he felt in that situation. Life or death situations were normal for Sai, they were a part of the job, but this.. this was different. He had never been a victim before, and he got dangerously close to becoming one of Orochimaru's. He had never felt so helpless as he had in that moment. But then..

Sasuke.

He fought for me..

He tried to save me.

He dropped his gaze to look for the raven but felt his presence a second later. His eyes shot up and he found Sasuke standing directly in front of him. A hand dropped on his shoulder, holding him steady. Sai hadn't even realized that he had been shaking until Sasuke's hand helped him stop.

"Sai? Are you ok?"

The pale teen stared at him with wide hollow eyes. "I.. I didn't think you would.."

The Uchiha met his gaze. "You don't deserve what Orochimaru would have-"

Sai turned away.

"Besides" Sasuke added, "it's not like I saved you. I.. failed."

Just like how I failed him..

Sai shook his head. "No, Sasuke. You helped me. When I needed it most."

He glanced over at the raven, a new feeling swirling in his gut- one that he couldn't quite place. Something like shame mixed with gratitude. He felt.. small and humiliated, but he also felt.. cared for.

It wasn't exactly a pleasant feeling, but it wasn't an unpleasant one either.

"Thank you, Sasuke" he said quietly, his heart in his throat.

"It's ok, Sai" he said, giving his shoulder a light squeeze. "He.. he won't be able to hurt anyone else. Not anymore."

He let his hand fall back to his side, then spun around and walked over to his sensei.. and to the man who had already lived far too long.

"Kakashi" he called as he moved to stand by his side, his sharingan locked on the snake frozen in the jonin's grasp, "did it work? Did he tell you?"

Careful not to lose his connection to Orochimaru, Kakashi replied, "couldn't get him to stop screaming."

Crimson eyes widened, but he waited for him to finish. "Think I went too far. Had to infiltrate his mind instead."

Sasuke eyed his sensei, seeing him in a whole new light. "And..?"

"Hold on.."

Sasuke tried, but his patience was wearing thin. When it was on the verge of snapping, Kakashi finally spoke. "Found it."

Sasuke started. "Can you get to it? Do you know how to find Naruto?"

He could see life slip back into Kakashi's mismatched eyes. "Yes" he replied, now back in his own mind, his own reality.

"Now.." he sighed, "what should we do with-"

His eyes widened and all he could do was stare. Sasuke had shifted out of view for an instant. Mere seconds. Kakashi blinked, and then there he was- standing before the snake, a kunai buried deep in his throat.

Orochimaru snapped back into reality in time to feel pain and fear as his life slipped away. He opened his mouth, trying to speak, and Sasuke twisted the knife, widening the hole in his throat.

He saw the light in those golden eyes die, but his burning rage lived on.

He wasn't sure he'd ever be able to extinguish it.

Naruto was tackled from behind and went crashing to the floor. His chin collided with the rough surface and slammed up, forcing his teeth through his tongue. Blood filled his mouth and tears stung the corner of his eyes. He dug his fingers into jagged rock, trying to pull himself away, but the man grabbed his hips and yanked him back. Naruto kicked out at him, and he grabbed his ankle, forcing him to stop.

The man's grip tightened. With a deep growl he spun Naruto around, forcing him onto his back, his leg still clasped in his large hand as he forced it up. He shifted between his legs, ignoring the pain as the terrified blonde kicked the rock further into his thigh.

That wasn't going to stop him.

He was so close he could taste it. His thick cock strained against his pants, eager to shove its way inside. He needed this. Nothing else mattered. He would deal with the consequences, the guilt, the inevitable shame- all of it could come later. But now, now he was going to fuck that little blonde as hard as he could for as long as he could.

And nothing, nothing, was going to get in his way.

He punched Naruto across the face, watching with satisfaction as his head snapped to the side. Blood slipped from his gasping lips and slid down his jaw, and for a moment he was hypnotized by it. Something stirred in him at the sight of that warm liquid falling from his lips.

He moaned with want and longing and grabbed fistfuls of the blonde's shirt. Naruto grabbed his wrists, trying to stop him, and he punched him again, tearing his focus away from everything else. He gripped his shirt once more and jerked it to either side, ripping it apart. Naruto's head snapped back up to stare at him in horror.

"N-no.." he tried again, a word he'd been using far too often lately.

One that never seemed to have any kind of effect.. on anyone.

This man was no exception.

He grabbed Naruto's hair and forced his head back, then leaned down and bit his neck- hard. Naruto cried out as the man's teeth dug into his flesh, marking him. He tried to jerk back, but it only made things worse. His skin tore and the man finally released him. He sat up to get a good look at his work, his grin victorious.

"Now that little boyfriend of yours will know that another man fucked you."

Naruto paled. "I.. I don't-"

"You don't have to understand" the man cut in, seeing his confusion. "But he will."

Without warning, his hand suddenly lashed out and wrapped around Naruto's throat. He squeezed hard, then harder. He liked the feeling of the blonde flailing beneath him, against him. It made him want him more.

As Naruto's eyes rolled and his grip slackened, the man finally released him. Keeping him conscious, but just barely.

Naruto gasped for air, blinking back the darkness that was threatening to close in on him. He tried to gather his wits, but his mind was swimming. His attacker knew an opportunity when he saw one. He unfastened Naruto's pants and forced them down. Naruto tried to sit up, reaching out to get them back, but another punch to the face sent him reeling to the ground. His pants were ripped from him, and his boxers were quick to follow.

The blonde shook- terrified, hopeless, helpless. He raised himself up and tried to pull himself away on his elbows, but a hand on his leg dragged him back. He could hear a buckle being undone, a zipper pulled down, and then those hands were on him again, forcing him closer.

Naruto looked over at the door fast with wide surprised eyes, fooling the Neanderthal above him. He swung his arm out and punched him in the head as hard as he could.

The man swung his hand out and slapped him across the face. He grabbed him by the hair again. "You think you can fucking get away with that?!"

Naruto jerked to the side, then threw his elbow back into the guy's jaw. He tried to pull away, but every time he moved those hands were on him- pulling him down, forcing him back, tightening around him. "St-stop!" he shrieked. "No! Stop!! Let me go!"

He continued to flail and fight back, which only fueled the man's rage and spiked his adrenaline. Anger and lust consumed him, and he wasn't willing to wait another second to act on it. He grabbed the blonde's jaw hard and dropped down on top of him, his weight crushing the air from his lungs. Naruto gasped and he forced his way inside.

He shoved his tongue between Naruto's lips, filling him. He cock strained as he tasted his prisoner, blood and saliva coating his tongue. He pushed his way in deeper as he thrust his cock against the blonde's. He regretted leaving his boxers on. If they were off, he could have his way with him here and now.

He moved his hands to push the pesky material away and Naruto drove his teeth down into his tongue. The man screamed inside his mouth, and tried to pull out, but Naruto wouldn't let go. He bore down on him, trying not to think about the feel of the man's freed length rubbing against him. He pushed against the man's chest, trying to force him back, but he had no intention of leaving. A hand snaked between them and grabbed Naruto's length and Naruto's mouth shot wide open in shock and pain.

The man turned his head to the side and spat out blood, then turned back to glare down at him. "You'll pay for that."

He grabbed Naruto's ass and raised it, forcing his entrance to meet the man's throbbing want. Naruto screamed for him to stop, but his desperation did nothing to help him. Holding him steady, the man rocked his hips forward, the tip of his cock fighting to squeeze inside. Naruto clawed at his face, trying to stop him, but he forced his arms to the ground and dropped down on top of him.

"Uhhnnn.." the man groaned, his voice husky as he started to shove his tip inside. He could feel the blonde clench down on him, making it harder to drill deep the way he wanted. "Nnnn- if you.. Ahh.. let go it'll feel.. nnnn- so good."

Naruto choked back the bile crawling up his throat as the man continued to push his way inside, clenching his body tight. He didn't know what else to do. His leg jerked to the side as the man shoved the rest of the tip inside, and a pained sound flew from his attacker's lips. Naruto looked up in surprise. He didn't know what caused it at first, then realized he must have hit the stone lodged in his leg.

He had nearly forgotten about it.

Naruto jerked his leg to the side then slammed it down. The man pulled out of him, his face twisted with anger and pain, and punched him in the gut. Naruto gasped, but his attacker didn't wait for him to recover. He dropped on top of him again and found his hole once more.

Naruto fought to catch his breath, to find his voice. The tip was forced back inside, and he found it.

Naruto screamed and the sound of a door slamming open echoed down the hall. They both froze this time, neither knowing who it was, both having a strong guess.

The man propped himself up on his forearms, but he wasn't ready to pull away if he didn't have to. He didn't want to have to start over again. He rocked his hips forward just a little and Naruto screamed. He slammed his hand down over his mouth to silence him, but they were well past that point. The sound of footsteps moved fast towards them. They turned to face the barred wall and were surprised to find someone besides Orochimaru staring back at them.

"Naruto.."

The blonde stared back into those blood-red eyes with wide fearful blues, crying out to him from behind the man's stifling hand.

"You'll die for this" Sasuke growled.

With the man's attention on Sasuke, Naruto finally found his chance. He tore his arms free, yanked the rock dagger out of the man's thigh, and jammed it straight up into his neck.

Blood instantly starting gushing from the gaping wound. Naruto's face was covered in it, but it didn't faze him. He pushed the jagged stone in even further, watching the man's eyes closely. He could see the horror, the fear, and he relished in it. Drenched in blood, Naruto glared up at him, waiting for him to die.

Sasuke sliced his chidori through the door, forcing it to collapse, then rushed inside. He grabbed the man and tossed him across the cell, then dropped down by his blonde's side.

He was naked from the waist down except for that fucking collar, and his shirt was torn open. He could see bruises around his wrists, from being pinned down, and a gruesome bite mark on his neck, clearly meant to mark him. Sasuke grimaced at the sight of it but continued to scan his blonde for injuries. Bruises marred his face, though the man's blood covered most of it, and... and there was blood. Naruto's blood.

Between his legs.

Sasuke swallowed hard. He pulled his shirt off and carefully covered Naruto's lap with it. The blonde looked embarrassed, horrified really. It was clear that he didn't want Sasuke to see him like this.

"Naruto, I.." he forced back tears, "I'm so sorry.."

"I tried.." Naruto whispered, his voice heavy and far, far away. "I tried to stop him.."

Sasuke grabbed the blonde and pulled him into his arms, holding him close to his chest. He buried his face in blood-matted hair and finally let the tears fall, where Naruto couldn't see them.

"I know" he murmured, his heart clenched so hard he thought it might shatter. "I know, Naru.."

Well.. that was pretty fucking dark. Probably not the best idea for me to let my angst-horse take the reins like that.
