A few weeks later as Alexis is walking around Xavier's territory in wolf form Alexis soon stops seeing Jackie by a tree and goes over.
"Alexis?" Jackie asks as she signs to Alexis seeing her as she shifts to human form.
"Hey Jackie." Alexis says as she signs.
"What are you doing here? You can't be here. You have no disguise and the King has been cracking down to make sure nobody else sneaks in like that again. If he sees you or any of the others sees you then you'll be caught." Jackie says worriedly as he signs.
"I don't care. I'm not afraid of them or Xavier. Besides I doubt any of them would chase a wolf. I'd only have to avoid them long enough to shift and I'd be fine." Alexis says as she signs.
"Alexis please. I can't protect you if you get caught. Please leave. I don't want to see you hurt." Jackie says concernedly as he signs.
"Funny considering you didn't seem so concerned when I was captured at the Tournament. You didn't even tell me about that. And now you're concerned about me getting hurt?" Alexis asks as she signs and scoffs.
"I didn't know you were gonna be there." Jackie says as he signs and looks down.
"You saw me there." Alexis says angrily as she signs.
"I know. I just figured you maybe saw the commotion and decided to stay to watch and then you'd leave. That's honestly why I was showing off a bit for you. Trying to make it worth you being there. I didn't know about your friends being there and you being part of that. But when my friends Keun Sup and Aggie were signaled to grab you guys I had no choice. If I didn't the King would of suspected something. I'm sorry. I didn't want to see you put in the maze. I feel bad over it." Jackie says as he signs while giving a sad look.
"If that's true then quit being with the King and join me and my friends Jackie. Help us fight against him." Alexis says as she signs.
"Alexis you know I can't." Jackie says as he signs.
"Yes you can. Jackie this is a chance to get away from him. To fight for your freedom again. Don't let him bully you and the other kids into doing what he wants anymore. I know you can't be happy or okay with any of this stuff. Please." Alexis says as she signs while giving a pleading look.
"I just can't." Jackie says as she signs and looks down sadly.
"You can't? Or you won't?" Alexis asks as she signs as Jackie looks at her in surprise.
"What?" Jackie asks as he signs.
"You heard me. You're either willing to take a stand or you don't want to because you're scared." Alexis says angrily as she signs.
"Fine! Yes I'm scared! We're all scared! You know what he'll do to us. He can't be beat. I'm sorry." Jackie says frustratedly as he signs.
"No. I'm sorry. I thought our friendship was important to you but I guess not." Alexis says as she signs and gives a disappointed look.
"What are you saying Alexis? Of course our friendship is important to me. You mean the world to me. You've become my best friend. I don't want to lose you." Jackie says in shock as he signs.
"That's not how it looks and sounds to me. If you really cared about our friendship you'd take a stand to fight for it. To fight to play how you want. To fight for your freedom to do what you want, play with who you want, and play how you want. I thought you were better than this Jackie. I guess I was wrong." Alexis says angrily as she signs.
"I'm so sorry." Jackie says as he signs sadly.
"Me too. I don't want to see you ever again." Alexis says angrily as she signs.
"Alexis please don't do this. I don't want to lose you." Jackie says pleadingly as he signs.
"You already have. I'm done. I can't sit by and watch as you do these things anymore Jackie. You're not the person I thought you were. Not anymore. I'm not your friend anymore." Alexis says angrily as she signs before shifting to wolf form and running off.
