"Aww, she's so cute Rockie, but are you sure you want me to adopt her. Shouldn't you aopt her." Rocket heard Carol asking. Rocket had shown up at her flying apartment with a surprise, a female baby raccoon unaware she was the reincarnated version of one Mocket Tivon and the forever and beauitful sky realising she'd had a terrible past life, had given her a second chance bringing her back as an infant kit so she could have a better life which Lylla had told Rocket in a recent dream but told him to find her a good home. He knew that he couldn't adopt her but knew Carol would be a good mom to her.

"Nope, she's meant to be yours after what I told you. You can give her what she needs like teaching her things like love, empathy, compassion all those things." Rocket said to her feeling Chewie Danvers Carol's pet Flerken nuzzle against his furry leg chuckling seeing the female infant giggle hearing Chewie purring which Carol and Rocket found sweet. "See, she's meant to be a Danvers." Rocket told Carol makijg her smile.

"She's gonna need a name, Rockie." Carol told him. Rocket was quiet thinking, tapping his furry chin in thought but then his eyes widened getting an idea. "What about Rini Danvers." he asked seeing her smirk seeing that was a great name. "Rini it is." Carol told him making him nod in agreement. He decided not to tell Shocket about this as no harm would come of this plus he was named Rini's godfather surprising him and warming his heart giving Carol a crib and supplies for Rini relieving her.

"Thanks Rockie, plus Kamala's goijg to be happy, finding out she's an aunt." she told him seeing him leaving hoping that Shocket wasn't upset aboht this, if she found out she was with her in deep space.

Rocket sighed returning to his home on Knowhere hoping that Rini was safe with Carol or that Shocket didn't find out that Mocket had been reincarnated into an infant raccoon female

That early morning, Carol was up with Rini feeding her, and burping her plus Chewie was helping keep her calm which Carol appreciated deciding to give her so e milk too and was putting Rini in her crib seeing her asleep again. "She'sasleep which is good but thanks for helping Chewie. Rini is gonna need us as she grows up." she said to thefemale Flerken. Chewie was curious about the new sister as Carol told her Rini was her lil sister and had to be welcoming to her which she got knowing Kamala would also fawn over the infant too. Later that morning, Carol was making breakfast for herself after feeding Chewie feeding Rini her breakfast hearing her giggle. "Atta girl, as you need this to grow big and strong." she told her putting tail-armour on her because Rocket had explained, baby raccoons weren't housebroken, wven if theylived in a flying apartment

"I guess Carol loves my lil sister which is okay, as lomg as she spends time with me." Chewie mummbled knowing that Carol couldn't understand her wondering if Rini would talk like Carol and Rocket hoping this was a good idea helping eat the mess on the floor Rini had made. Carol was then putting Rini in a baby sling and Chwie climbed onto her shoulder knowing they were going for a flight seeing Rini curious about what was going to happen as Carol took flight making Chwie grin. "We do this a lot when we're not doing missions." she told her. This made Rini excited but curious about her family as they returned to the apartment hearing Rini yawning making Carol guess she was tired and putting Rini in her crib neae the foot of the bed seeing Chewie asleep knowing she was protecting the infant kit which she found sweet
