A few months later…
It was just a few days before the next extermination and the Hotel was all but ready to stand against Adam, Lute and the exorcists. Charlie had her doubts that, even with the angelic weapons and the cannibals of cannibal town, they might lose the fight. She was in her room with Vaggie, thinking about it, when an idea hit her on where she can get more help.
"I just got an idea where we can get more help" said Charlie.
"Really? Where" Vaggie asked her.
"Nightfright and Scarlett" she replied.
"What makes you so sure they'll be willing to help" Vaggie asked her.
"I just…have a feeling" she replied.
She then took out her phone and called Nightfright.
The next shot is in a warehouse in a big forest that is somewhere outside of Pentagram City. Inside, Nightfright and Scarlett were talking when Nightfright's phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket and answered.
"Hello, Nightfright speaking" he answered.
"Hey Nightfright, Charlie here" she said.
"Oh, hey Charlie. What's up" he asked her.
"You know that the extermination is in a few days, right" she asked him.
"Oh, yeah. Scarlett and I are getting well prepared for it" he replied.
"Really? That's great cause I…I need a favor right now" said Charlie.
"Sure, what is it" he asked her.
"I can't exactly talk about it like this. How soon can you and Scarlett get to the Hotel" she asked him.
"We'll be right over" he replied.
He hung up and Charlie looked at Vaggie.
"How soon do you think they'll get here" she asked.
Suddenly, a portal opened and both Nightfright and Scarlett came through it.
"We're here" said Nightfright.
"You guys work fast" said Charlie.
"Of course we do" said Scarlett.
"Anyways, what's the issue" Nightfright asked.
Charlie then explained to them what happened when her and Vaggie went to Heaven to pitch the idea for redemption to the angels. How it failed and Adam said that him, Lute and the exorcists were gonna go to the hotel first.
"That petty motherfucker" said Scarlett.
"He wants war? We'll give him one" said Nightfright.
"So you'll join us in this fight" Charlie asked them.
"Absolutely" said Nightfright.
"Definitely" said Scarlett.
"Yes! Oh, thank you both so much" said Charlie.
She hugged them both tight.
"You're welcome" Nightfright uttered.
She let them go.
"Sorry. So, do you have any kind of Living Nightmares that can help in the fight" Charlie asked them.
Nightfright and Scarlett glanced over at each other and smiled before looking back at her.
"What would you all say if we told you that we created a Living Nightmare that's been specifically made to counter the exorcists" Nightfright asked.
"Really? Well, that's…convenient" Charlie replied.
"Care to show us" Vaggie asked
"Gladly" he replied.
Then, before their eyes, Nightfright conjured up a one-of-a-kind Living Nightmare. Unlike previous Living Nightmares, that are based on actual animals, this one had its own unique look to it. It was quadrupedal and 8 feet in length with wings and an armored spiky hide going from its head all the way down to its tail The body resembled that of a big cat while the head and tail resembled a crocodile. It had 2 horns on its head and its mouth was lined with 3 rows of sharp jagged teeth. Finally, it had usable hands on its front limbs with long sharp claws. Charlie and Vaggie were gazing in awe after seeing this new Living Nightmare.
"Say hello to what we simply call, the Gargoyle" said Nightfright.
It hovered in the air with its wings and shrieked before landing back down.
"OK, what can it do" Vaggie asked them.
"The spiky armored hide is so that it can be attacked from behind. Worst case scenario, the angelic weapons pierce them and turn them to dust. Best case scenario, their weapons won't do too much damage. The claws and teeth are very sharp and more than capable of cutting off heads in a single bite or slash" Scarlett replied.
"Must they be so…deadly? This seems a bit overkill" said Charlie.
"They're Living Nightmares, Charlie. They're designed and made to kill. Besides, it's the exorcists we're talking about here. So overkill isn't a problem at all" Nightfright replied.
"Anyways, that's about it for the Gargoyles" said Scarlett.
"So, what do you think" Nightfright asked them.
Charlie smiled.
"When you said made to specifically counter the exorcists, you weren't kidding" she replied.
"Of course" said Nightfright.
Charlie and Vaggie then went to the lobby to inform the others.
"Everyone, we have some good news! We managed to get more help" said Charlie.
Alastor raised an eyebrow.
"From who" he asked her.
"Us" said Nightfright.
They all looked up and saw both him and Scarlett leaning on the railing with smiles on their faces, the Gargoyle standing on the railing like an actual gargoyle. The next shot is them after explaining to the others what their new Living Nightmare can do.
"And there you have it" said Nightfright.
"Oh, these Gargoyles of yours will do very nicely" said Alastor.
"How many of them do ya got" Angel asked them.
"Oh, an…entire army of them" Scarlett replied.
"You two weren't kidding when you said you were prepared" said Husk.
"Of course" said Nightfright.
"Honey, you take this one outside while I head back to base and rally the rest of them" said Scarlett.
Nightfright pulled her in close and whispered something in her ear. Scarlett smiled and nodded before she snapped her fingers and opened a portal back to base.
"I'll be back" she said.
She walked through and the portal closed behind her. Nightfright then turned his attention back to the others, grinned at them and snapped his fingers. In a swirl of red and black energy, his outfit changed to black and red battle armor that covered most of his body.
"What do you think? I think it looks nice on me" said Nightfright.
"Just don't let any Goetia Demon see you wearing that" said Charlie.
"Don't need to tell me twice. That's one part and here's the other" said Nightfright.
He snapped his fingers again and summoned a hellish black scythe, the blade glowing bright red and sparking with red electricity. The others were just gazing in awe.
"NOW how do I look" Nightfright asked.
"Ready for war, my friend" Alastor replied.
"That's what we're here for. Now, let's get outside" said Nightfright.
They all walked outside the Hotel and that was when Nightfright saw the cannibals armed with angelic weapons.
"Honestly, I'm more surprised that Carmilla complied and let you have all these weapons rather than the cannibals of cannibal town willing to fight" said Nightfright.
"I managed to convince her" said Vaggie.
That was when a portal opened right above them and Scarlett hopped down from it, clad in her own black and red battle armor and wielding and black machete, the blade glowing bright red and sparking with red electricity.
"We're ready" she said.
Charlie smiled and shed a tear.
"I can't thank you two enough for this" she said.
"We won't just stand by and let a piece of shit like Adam get away with what he's doing" said Scarlett.
"Exactly! Now…let's take it from the top" said Nightfright.

Nightfright & Scarlett: For the first time in our lives
We know that we are ready for this!
Then, as if on cue, swarms of Gargoyles flew through the portal, flying around in circle in the sky around the Hotel.
Scarlett: We'll show the exorcists a fight they won't forget!
Cannibals, Nightfright, Scarlett, Alastor, Vaggie, Angel, Husk, Niffty, Sir Pentious, Cherri Bomb: It is time to take a stand!
Charlie: It is time to lend a hand!
Cannibals, Nightfright, Scarlett, Alastor, Vaggie, Angel, Husk, Niffty, Sir Pentious, Cherri Bomb: Huzzah!
Charlie: Against Adam and his deadly threat!
That was when flocks of gigantic Living Nightmares, resembling crows and bats with 30-foot wingspans, arrived and flew around as well, almost blanketing the sky.
Cannibals, Nightfright, Scarlett, Alastor, Vaggie, Angel, Husk, Niffty, Sir Pentious, Cherri Bomb: We cannot take it anymore
The time has come to go to war
Prepare to fight, we're ready for this!
Everyone was smiling, knowing that victory was now all but assured. Everyone except for Charlie, who sighed.
Charlie: I really hope that I'm ready for this!
"Where did all these deadly beauties come from" Cherri Bomb asked.
"I ordered them to come here since I couldn't really fit all of them through the portal" Scarlett replied.
"We're bringing everything with wings against the exorcists" said Nightfright.
"Oh, those fuckers don't stand a chance now" said Angel.
"Don't get arrogant and cocky, Angel. Even though we probably have more numbers, the angels are still not to be underestimated" said Scarlett.
"Scarlett is right! We need to stay focused, people! The extermination is in a few days so let's make sure we're actually ready" said Vaggie.
Everyone raised their hands and cheered and all of the flying Living Nightmares shrieked.
