Naruto was sitting in his class with a bored look. "Naruto-san?" Naruto looked up and saw Shino standing by desk.
"Shino-san, what's up?" Naruto asked.
"Do you mind if I sit next to you?" Shino asked, receiving a nod from the blonde. Shino took his seat next to Naruto. "You don't seem too excited for the team announcement."
"Because I already have a feeling who's team I'm going to be on?" Naruto said.
"Naruto-kun?" Naruto lifted his head and saw Sakura smiling at him nervously. "May I sit next to you?"
"Umm, sure." Naruto responded.
"Do you think we'll be on the same team?" Sakura asked. Before Naruto could respond, he felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind.
"Hi, Naruto-kun." Ino said from behind. "Hope we get to be on the same team."
"I thought you like Sasuke?" Naruto said.
"You're just as handsome and you're nicer." Ino said.
"You know I have a girlfriend?" Naruto said.
"So, you're worth the challenge." Ino responded. Naruto sighs and just turns to the front of the class.
"I don't get it, why so great about a nobody like you?" Kiba asked, approaching the group.
"Weaklings bark the loudest." Naruto said, earning a growl from the mutt.
"What was that? I can kick your ass without even trying?" Kiba said.
"Don't lie to yourself, idiot. Naruto-kun is the best in our class and you're the deadlast. Naruto-kun will beat you, no sweat." Sakura said.
'Well, she's not wrong.' Naruto thought.
"Forehead is right, you stand no chance. Plus his father is the yondaime and he was the fastest nin in the world.." Ino added.
"Whatever, I'm pretty sure I can beat him." Kiba retorted.
"Alright class, take your seat and I'll begin the team announcements." Iruka said, walking in the class. " I know you're excited but remember, you're shinobi now and watch your teammates back. Now it's time to announce the rookie of the year… It's Naruto Uzumaki-namikaze and our Kunoichi of the year is Sakura Haruno. Now to begin team announcements… team 7 will be Sasuke Uchiha, Shino aburame and Kiba Inuzuka. Your sensei will be Kakashi Hatake." Iruka went down the list and blinked a bit. "This is different, team 8 will consist of Hinata Hyuga, Choji Akamichi and Shikamaru Nara. your senseis will be Kurenai Yuhi and Asuma Sarutobi. Team 9 is in rotation, so team 10 will be Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka."
Flashback:
"I want Naruto alongside these two." Mikoto said, showing a picture of Sakura and Ino.
Kushina resisted the urge to smile. "Oh and why is that?" Kushina asked.
"Well you may not believe this, I have some idea on how strong Naruto is, especially if he spent years training with you. So to perfectly balance the team, I figured I put him with the two weakest in the class." Mikoto said.
"Is that all?" Kushina asked, even though she knew the answer.
"You know it's not. As kunoichi it should be my job to beat the fangirl out of the two or my pride will be damaged and with these three, the team will be versatile. Naruto most likely knows fuinjutsu and kenjutsu, alongside a few ninjutsu and if he's anything like you, he doesn't know much genjutsu and no iryojutsu. So he'll be our demolitionist. Ino will be our assassin with her clan jutsu's and also gather intel with ease. Sakura Haruno is the diamond in the coal. Because she's not from a clan, she has the potential to learn anything if trained right. If I build up her chakra, she could be a ninjutsu prodigy, genjutsu or medical nin is also an option. I believe I can make the three strong and bring out their potential." Mikoto said.
Kushina smiled. Mikoto saw what no one else saw. "I approve. Kakashi, you'll take Sasuke, alongside Shino and Kiba. Kurenai, you'll work with Asuma since he's quite lazy and doesn't use genjutsu. You have Hinata, Shikamaru and Choji. Everyone is dismissed and make me proud."
Flashback end:
Naruto grumbles at this. He had a feeling his mom did this but it did make sense in the long run. "We're on the same team, Naruto-kun!" Both girls squealed as they hugged the blonde. Some of the other fangirls glared at the two in jealousy.
Soon jonin began to come into the class. "Team 10, with me." Mikoto said, eyeing Naruto with a smirk. "To training ground 10."
"The Deadly Raven." Naruto said. He heard of Mikoto being a dual wielder. He was hoping to spar with her, especially if she was as strong as the only person who could beat him in a fight. The three students got up and left.
Naruto and the girls soon arrived at training ground 10, where Mikoto was filing her nails. "You're here. Now let's introduce ourselves. I'll go first. My name is Mikoto Uchiha and I'm the Uchiha matriarch. I like my son, Kushina, kenjutsu and cooking. My dislikes are arrogant people, perverts and fangirls." Ino and Sakura gulped. "My dream is to make sure your dreams come true and as strong as possible. Ino, why don't you go next."
"My name is Ino Yamanaka, I like flowers, cute boys" she said that part while winking at Naruto. "And shopping. I hate perverts, lazy asses and people who destroy flowers. Oh and forehead. My dream is to marry a strong man and take over as clan heiress." Ino said.
Mikoto nodded. "Sakura, you're next."
My name is Sakura Haruno, the things I like.." she thought about Sasuke and Naruto and squealed. "My dreams are…" she squealed again. "And my hobbies are reading. I dislike Ino-pig."
Mikoto sighs but nods her head. "And finally, Naruto-kun."
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. I like ramen, fuinjutsu and kenjutsu. My hobbies are sparring with my mom and making new seals. I dislike arrogant people, perverts, rapists and traitors. My dream is to surpass both of my parents and become the best hokage."
Mikot smiled at Naruto. "Good, now we can begin the test."
"Test? What test?" Sakura asked.
"The test to see if you truly have what it takes to become genin." Mikoto said. "I decided if you pass or fail. You can come out now." Mikoto said.
Soon Tenten dropped down from the trees. "Hey everyone, Foxy-kun."
"Panda-chan?" Naruto called out. "What are you doing here?"
"Mikoto asked for my help." Tenten said before walking up to the blonde. Naruto was about to ask what before his danger sense went off. Tenten wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed, shoving her tongue. As they made out, ninja wires with three seal tags, wrapped around Naruto and tied him up.
"What?" Naruto yelled and was on the ground. He traced the wire and saw his sensei holding it.
"Sorry Foxy-kun, Mikoto-sensei asked for my help. Please forgive me" Tenten said, putting her hands together in a pleading motion.
"What's going on?" Naruto asked.
"If I'm being honest, this test is more for the girls than for you." Mikoto turned to the two fangirls and smirked. "You two, your test will be to stop the timer before it goes off and to do that, you have to get pass Tenten here. The reason I made her your opponent is because she's not from a clan and I know how you think people with a bloodline have an advantage over others. Plus since she's a kunoichi not far from your age, she'll make the perfect opponent. If I decide to fail you, I'll take Naruto on as an apprentice." Mikoto said, placing a timer on his head. "When the timer goes off, it'll explode. This is to add extra motivation."
"What! No way I'm just sitting here." Naruto said, trying to stretch the wire.
"Not so fast." Mikoto said, holding up a cup of Ramen. "I have this special edition, secret flavor ramen. If you move a muscle, I'll burn this."
Naruto stopped immediately. "How dare you hurt the food of the gods." Naruto said before turning to Tenten. "No more kisses for a few days. Using our kisses for this is betrayal."
"What? Come on Naru-kun. Don't be like that." Tenten begged but Naruto 'hmph' and turned his head. "Mikoto-sensei, look what you did!" Tenten said, glaring at the Uchiha.
"Naruto-kun, calm down. This is important." Mikoto said but didn't receive an answer. "You're just like your mother." Mikoto chuckled. "Anyway, you may begin." Mikoto sat down next to her male student.
Tenten stood between the fangirls and Naruto, with a ninjato in her hand. "Alright, show me what you can do."
Sakura took out some shurikens and threw them towards Tenten. Tenten easily caught them between her fingers. "You can aim but don't have power." Tenten threw them back at Sakura, who jumped out the way but to her surprise, Tenten appeared above her and kicked her in the stomach. When she landed, she saw Ino going through some hand signs. Tenten pulled out some smoke bombs and dropped it, hiding herself in the smoke to avoid Ino's mind jutsu.
"Damn." Ino said, trying to look through the smoke.
"Hey, what are you looking for?" Ino turned around and saw Tenten behind her before receiving a punch in the face. Tenten stood there, looking at the two girls. "Really? I only hit you once."
Sakura slowly got up and charged Tenten at low genin speed. When she got close, she threw a punch but Tenten dodge by tilting her head and knee Sakura in the stomach. Ino got up and used her Mind transfer on Tenten but Tenten moved Sakura in front of her and Ino's body collapsed. "What, damn it forehead." Sakura said in Ino's voice.
"You two are pathetic." Tenten said, kicking Sakura away. She approached Ino's body and wrapped ninja wires around it. "Mikoto-sensei, let's just end this. I'm not up for beating up weaklings."
"Right." Mikoto got up and glared at Sakura. "Ino, get back in your body." Ino deactivated the jutsu and returned to her body. "I gotta say I'm disappointed but it was expected. You two always fawned over my son but I would never approve of either of you dating him. As an Uchiha, we look for someone that's our equal and can keep each other safe. Tenten here trained for years and looked where it got her, she wasn't even trying." Mikoto said.
"If you think so low on us, why take us as your students." Ino asked.
"It's because I didn't trust the other sensei to beat the fangirl out of you two, well. Except for Anko but Kushina was worried she'll feed you to her pets.
"But because of Ino and I, we're the weakest teams." Sakura said, looking down in shame.
"Not necessarily, that is if you two decide to continue." Mikoto said, earning confused looks from the fangirls. "Listen, if you two choose to be on my team. I want to let you two know I'll break you and rebuild you back up to true kunoichi's" Mikoto offered.
"We'll stay, I don't want to be weak anymore." Ino said.
"Same here, but it doesn't change the fact that we're the weakest team." Sakura said.
"And I said not necessarily." Mikoto repeated.
"What do you mean?" Ino asked.
Tenten laughed and shook her head. "She means Foxy-kun, he's really strong. None of the genin in your class can beat him and he balances the team out."
"Yeah, you can count on me but first. Can you get this bomb off- BOOM*!" Naruto was cut off when the bomb on his head exploded and he was covered in multiple layers of paint. He glared at Mikoto and Tenten, who chuckled nervously. Using his wind chakra, he broke the threads. "You know what, I was going get you two gifts but now, only Sakura-chan and Ino-chan get their new weapons. And Tenten, no snuggles for a week." Naruto said before shushin away to his home.
"Foxy-kun, I'm sorry! Comeback." Tenten said before using the same jutsu to follow her boyfriend.
"Weapons?" Mikoto repeated. She knew how good Naruto and Kushina blades were and realized she lost her chance to get some swords. "Come girls, we're headed to Naruto's home. I was going to do introductions at Akamichi's BBQ but Naruto is mad, so we mind as well have dinner at his place." Mikoto said, wanting her weapons.
"I'm sorry, Naruto, please forgive me." Tenten pleaded as Naruto took off his jacket and prepared to take a bath. "I forgot that the bomb was there and I promised not to use our kisses for something sneaky again." they were in Naruto's bedroom as he took off his paint covered clothes.
"Calm down, panda-chan." Naruto said. "I'm not that mad." Naruto grabbed a towel and proceeded to the bath.
"If you want, I can help you wash off the paint." Tenten offers causing both of them to blush. "Just don't look."
"You don't have to, I forgive you." Naruto said, rushing to the bathroom. After leaving the restroom, Naruto went down stairs and saw his teammates in his living room. "What's going on?"
"I would like to apologize for what happened and since we're a team, I thought we could get to know each other." Mikoto said. "Also, I wanted to see how up to par I am with you." Mikoto said, shocking Ino and Sakura.
"But sensei, aren't you stronger than Naruto-kun?" Sakura asked.
"I doubt it, I haven't trained in a while. And Naruto-kun trained with his mother for 8 years with a gruesome training method." Mikoto said.
"Hmm, I'm not sure if I can beat you or not. Even if you're rusty, you have experience and your bloodline." Naruto said.
"I guess we'll see after introductions and dinner. I would love to see that." Kushina said. "Tenten, you can stay if you like." Tenten smiled and nodded.
"Alright, I'll go first. My name is Mikoto Uchiha. I love my son, my best friend, Kushina and my team. My favorite food is apples and my dislikes are traitors and power hungry fools. My dream is to make your dreams come true, surpass Kushina." "Not happening." "and to bring my family together. Sakura, you can go."
"My name is Sakura and I like," she thought of Naruto and Sasuke. "My dream is to marry." She did it again. "And I hate Ino pig. My goal is to become a strong kunoichi."
"My name is Ino Yamanaka. I like flowers and cute boys like Naruto-kun. I hate rapists and lazy people. My dream is to surpass my dad and become clan heiress."
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. I like ramen, fuinjutsu and kenjutsu. I hate traitors and stuck up pricks. My dream is to surpass all the hokage's and become hokage." Naruto said.
"Great, now let's start the spar." Mikoto said, moving to the backyard. Naruto followed and summoned his katana and stood across his sensei. Mikoto summoned two medium length katana and twirled them between her fingers. Both swords were jet black. Naruto took a deep breath and opened his eyes, showing a battle ready gaze, releasing some strong aura. He put one hand on his blade handle, keeping his sword sheathed. "I assume you're ready."
"I am, ladies first." Mikoto dashed forward in blinding speed, leaving Sakura and Ino confused. Tenten and Kushina were able to keep up. When Mikoto reached Naruto, she went for a horizontal slash with the left blade. Naruto blocked it without unsheathing his blade effortlessly. Using the blade in her right hand, she went for a vertical slash. Naruto pulled out his blade and parried her attack. Mikoto went in for more sword strikes but Naruto was able to defend himself by dodging the first strike while blocking the second one.
"How is Naruto-kun keeping up with Mikoto-semsei?" Ino asked in disbelief. Sakura was just speechless.
"They're both still holding back." Tenten said, earning the two new genin gaze.
"What, how do you know?" Sakura asked.
"Because Mikoto still didn't activate her sharingan and Naruto is still using his base stance." Kushina answered. Mikoto jumped back and narrowed her eyes.
"So you are holding back. Can you take me seriously?" Mikoto asked.
"When you activate your red-eyes." Naruto responded. Mikoto smirked and activated her sharingan. Naruto smirked and sheathed his blade. "Uzumaki Lightning Stance: Sword form." Naruto's body started to glow yellow and lightning started to crackle around his boy. His eyes started to glow gold. Then in a sound of thunder, Naruto disappeared and reappeared in Mikoto. Mikoto barely had time to react but was able to block. Naruto smirked and disappeared again. Mikoto tried to use her dojutsu to track the blonde but he was moving as fast as lightning. He kept charging her but she was able to block most of them and the ones she couldn't block cut her body.
"Enough!" Mikoto activated her Mangekyo sharingan and summoned a pink susanoo. Naruto was surprised and jumped back. Mikoto smirked and released her armor, then sheathed her sword. "Now let's see how you do in taijutsu." Mikoto charged Naruto, who sheathed his sword. Naruto took a deep breath and the aura around him turned from yellow to white. "Uzumaki Wind Stance: Fist form." Naruto had his palms out and arms extended. Mikoto started to throw some attacks but she couldn't land a hit because Naruto was dancing around her like a leaf in the wind. When she went for a punch, Naruto would twirl around, she'll then go for a sweep kick but Naruto would jump over her. 'Damn, I can't hit him.'
"I guess it's my turn to attack." Naruto said before ducking under a punch and palming Mikoto's chest, sending her stumbling back. Naruto charged the Uchiha matriarch, Mikoto threw a kick at him but to her shock, Naruto landed on her leg by balancing himself with hand and kicked her in the face. She was able to block but when she did, she felt wind being channeled through his kick, sending her flying. "Looks like I won." Naruto said.
Mikoto got up and nodded in approval, deactivating her sharingan. "You did, gotta say I'm impressed. How much were you holding back?" Mikoto asked,
Naruto adopted a thinking pose, "Hmm, not sure." Naruto answered. "I still have my seals on but you weren't trying either."
"True, this was just a test." Mikoto said before turning to the genin kunoichi. "Now you see, you two need to up your game. We need to decide what field of jutsu you two are going to learn. I already decided on taijutsu and genjutsu for you two but there's still iryojutsu, ninjutsu, fuinjutsu and kenjutsu. It's for you two to decide but I do recommend you each choose something different."
"Well, I already got my clan jutsu. Hmm, in order for me to land it and take over someone's mind. I have to be faster and may Genjutsu help as well." Ino said.
"True but I think some fuinjutsu and kenjutsu could help you and a little elemental jutsu." Mikoto said and turned to Sakura. "What about you, Sakura?"
"Well, I have always been interested in medical ninjutsu and fuinjutsu. Not much interested in kenjutsu but ninjutsu seems pretty cool." Sakura said. Mikoto pulled out two chakra paper and gave it to the kunoichi's.
"Pour some chakra into this and it'll reveal your affinity." Mikoto said.
"Oh, I'm actually interested to see this." Kushina said.
"Same here, I bet Ino has water." Naruto said.
"I bet Sakura has earth and fire." Kushina said, making Naruto look at her.
"Really? Two?" Naruto asked. Kushina nodded.
"Her family has a personality disorder where they have a second voice in their head." Kushina said.
"Huh, that's weird but cool." Naruto said. The two Uzumaki looked and saw Sakura and Ino pouring chakra into the paper. Ino's turn wet and crumble into dirt. Sakura's crumbled as well and burned.
"Interesting, you both have two." Mikoto said and turned to her last student. "Naruto-kun, what's your affinity?"
"Wind is my primary, followed by water and lightning." Naruto answered.
"Wow, you have three?" Tenten commented. Naruto turned to his girlfriend and smiled in victory. "Mines are fire and wind. I haven't started any ninjutsu training."
"Well, I have fire, earth and wind." Mikoto said. "I can help Sakura and Tenten. Naruto-kun, can you help Ino with her water?"
"Sure, I don't mind." Naruto answered.
"Umm, sensei. How are you going to train Naruto?" Sakura asked.
"Sakura, didn't see us spar. To be honest there's not much I could teach 's on this team to carry you and Ino until you are up to par. If he was on any other team, that team would've been too strong." Mikoto answered.
Ino turned to her fellow blonde, tilting her head. "How strong are you, Naruto-kun?"
Naruto chuckles. "Let that be a surprise."
The next day, Ino and Sakura were ready for improvement but they were at a place they didn't think they would be at. "Um, sensei. Why are we at Akimichi BBQ?"
Mikoto chuckled. "You and Ino can't train without meat on your bones. I set up a food schedule for you two and Chouza-san will be assisting. Your first mission is to finish everything on your plate."
"All right, here's your food." Chouza said, walking in with multiple plates of different raw meat and vegetables. There were also some rice condiments.
"Alright, let's enjoy ourselves." Naruto said.
Sakura and Ino looked at the food unsure, which was noticed by Mikoto. "You know, if you eat. Your breasts may grow bigger." the spark the flame in their soul as they started to put food on the grill, making Naruto and Mikoto chuckle.
Midnight Lost guessed the teams, so as promised. I'll make this a harem but I'm not going to choose just random people. I have a pick on who I'll add. Sakura and Ino are not in it, that's all I'm telling you. but just because I'm friendly, I'll tell you at least one more. Samui is in. the Harem I'm creating is base on Naruto' personality and strength in this story.
