Wednesday morning they headed to the airport. Angela began to feel a little queasy, but also was craving chicken and noodles, her pregnancy craving when she had been pregnant with Jonathan. They've also discovered that fish and seafood made her very nauseated, so Tony passed any of that from their apartment on to Candy, his assistant. She figured that she was just dealing with some nerves this morning, and she'd be fine once she boarded the plane. But suddenly she felt a strong feeling to vomit, and opened her window of the Jeep just in time.

"Are you okay sweetheart? Do you think you'll be okay to fly?"

"Just a bit of nerves mixed with morning sickness. I should be fine."

"Did you bring some crackers and ginger ale with you in case you needed them?"

"Oh, shoot, I forgot! I'll grab some at the gift shop."

"Never fear, my darling, I have some for you in the back."

"Tony, what would I ever do without you?"

"You won't have to worry about that, ever."

"Thank you, sweetheart!"

"Well, we're here. Are you all set to go and visit Jonathan and Mona and Samantha and Hank?"

"I'll miss you, Tony, but yes, I'm ready to see all of them too. In a few weeks we'll ALL be together again for Thanksgiving."

"See you in a few days, mi amore. I love you! Have a safe flight!"

"I love you too, honey. I'll call you when I get back to the house."

"Oh, and good luck with the Prescott meeting too."

"Thanks!" She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and headed into the airport doors.

Suddenly Angela was startled awake. Where am I?, she thought to herself. Oh, that's right, I'm on the plane. "Excuse me, ma'am, but you'll have to put your seatbelt back on" the flight attendant told her.

"Oh, yes, I will. Why is the plane shaking?"

"We've hit some turbulence ma'am. Nothing to worry about."

"Thank you."

Then a voice came over the speaker. "Attention ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We've hit some stormy weather, and there are more severe storms in our flight path. Due to the severity of these storms, we will be rerouting to La Guardia instead. Anyone who has a connecting flight please let one of our flight attendants know so that we can get you lined up from La Guardia. Please continue to remain seated with your seatbelts fastened. Thank you,"

I'll have to let Mother know, Angela thought. She grabbed the airplane phone in her row and dialed the house number. Mona answered on the third ring. "Hello, Mother. My flight is being rerouted to La Guardia due to storms. Can you pick me up there? Otherwise I could take a train to Fairfield. Thank you, Mother. It's been a rough flight. Okay, I'll see you there then. Goodbye, Mother."

"Do you mind if I use the phone?" asked the passenger next to Angela.

"Sure, here you go."

After finishing up her phone call, she said "Thank you. My name is Alexandria."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Angela."

"Hi Angela. Is everything okay? You look like something's on your mind."

"Yes, just feeling a bit queasy. And missing my fiancé."

"Oh, are you flying out to see him?"

"No, he's back in Idaho, I mean Iowa. I'm just heading out east to visit our son, daughter, son-in-law, and my mother. And for a business meeting on Friday."

"Sounds like you do have a lot going on then."

"Not really. Just a quick trip and then I'll be back in Iowa with Tony."

"Wait, are you talking about Tony Micelli? Are you engaged to Tony Micelli?"

"Why yes, I am. How do you know Tony?"

"We were in some classes at Ridgemont together. He actually introduced me to my current boyfriend. He was always going on about his best friend Angela, how she was such an amazing and beautiful person. He also kept saying how she, rather you, saved him and his daughter. How without you Samantha wouldn't be so well-adjusted and advanced in school."

"He said all that?"

"Yes, to every person who would listen, every chance he got. Even though he never said he loved you, the way his face would glow whenever he spoke about you, we could all tell he was in love. Which is why we were totally confused when he started to date Kath..."

"Yeah, that almost caused our whole friendship to deteriorate. It was definitely a rough time for us. But we made it through, and in the end our love won out. And now we're expanding our family and starting a new life together."

"Wait, Angela, are you pregnant?"

"You're the only other person who knows, so please don't tell anyone else. Please?"

"Your secret is safe with me!"

"Thank you, Alexandria. We're not even sharing with our family until we can share the news with them together."

"I completely understand. So how far along are you? You certainly don't pregnant."

"I'm about seven weeks along. I'm due mid-June."

"Are you hoping for a boy or a girl? I know you have a son, and Samantha of course."

"Honestly, I'd be happy with either. Tony is such an incredible father, and we've raised one of each already. Jonathan, my son, was only 6 when Tony and Samantha came into our lives, and she was 11. So we really did raise them together."

"I'm really happy for you and Tony! You are just glowing with love for him."

"Thank you so much! He really is the love of my life."

The captain made an announcement over the speaker. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have now begun our descent into New York La Guardia. Please make sure your seats are in the upright position and that your tray tables are stowed. Thank you."

"Well Angela, we are almost there."

"Do you have a way back to Connecticut, Alexandria?"

"No, unfortunately I don't. My boyfriend, Gary, wasn't home when I called."

"Well, my mother can give you a ride back as well if you'd like."

"Are you sure she wouldn't mind?"

"Not at all. Knowing my mother she will have my car anyway."

"That'd be great then!"
