A/N: Thank you all for your lovely reviews! I'm trying to keep the characters' traits from the show true to form, and allowing for some plots to be intertwined as well. It's been fun writing this story, and I hope you enjoy the twists I've been putting in here.

Later that evening, Sam called with a message for Angela. "Mom? There was a message on the machine from an Alexandria confirming your lunch for tomorrow. Who's Alexandria?"

"Oh no, I'd forgotten all about her! She's someone I met on the flight home yesterday," Was it really just yesterday, Angela thought to herself. "Did she leave a number, Samantha?"

"Yes, it's 555-1437."

"Thanks, honey. I'll give her a call after we're off the phone."

"We'll come back to visit and to pick up Mona in the morning. I'm exhausted, and Hank is getting some things together for Monday."

"Of course. Please tell him thank you again for everything."

"I will, Mom. And please tell Dad goodnight for us too. I love you!"

"I love you too, my daughter. Good night."

"What'd Sam have to say?" inquired Tony. "And who's phone number did you get?"

"Someone I met on the flight home yesterday. She came on in Chicago when we stopped there. She said she knows you from Ridgemont. Her name is Alexandria, and said that you introduced her to her current boyfriend. I think his name is Greg?"

"I don't remember an Alexandria or Greg."

"She said she had some classes with you. She and I got to talking and since the flight was rerouted, Mother and I took her home. She lives over off of Park Lane."

"Park Lane? Oh I know who she is now! I only knew her as Alex, but I still don't recall a Greg. Wait, I did introduce her to Gary from my literature class. Could that be it?"

"Maybe. Anyway we were supposed to have lunch at the club tomorrow. So I'll have to call and let her know that I can't make it."

"Why? Just see if she'd mind coming here for lunch instead. I'll put something together for you two if you'd like. Give you a break from all the hospital food."

"Are you sure, Tony?"

"Of course!"

Tony headed home shortly after to shower and change, so Angela laid down to rest a while. Mona would be discharged in the morning, and Angela should be going home on Monday or Tuesday. As she wouldn't be able to travel for a while, it was decided that Hank would return to Iowa with Tony to clean out the apartment. Tony had spoken with Dr. Graham before coming back, and he'd given him a heads up about Angela's pregnancy. Of course at that point she was okay with just a few scratches, but he'd made mention he may be gone a week or so. Dr. Graham understood that completely. Yet when Tony called earlier to talk with him, he kind of figured what was coming. He certainly wasn't thrilled, but he could see how much family meant to Tony. And with the severity of Angela's circumstances, Dr. Graham had acquiesced.

"Hi, sweetheart! How are you feeling?" Tony asked as he walked in the door the next morning.

"Hi, Tony. Feeling a bit sore. I sat up earlier and pulled out one of my stitches. The nurse came in to fix it, but other than using the bathroom, I'm to stay in bed today. I feel so bad as I was hoping to at least sit up for lunch."

"It'll be okay, Ang. You just had surgery two days ago, and are in your second trimester of being pregnant with twins. If Alex can't understand that, then she's a fool!" Mona interjected.

"Mother, it doesn't have anything to do with that. It's just that I already feel bad about being in here."

"Hey, sweetheart, there's no reason to feel bad. Mona's right, you just had major surgery. Alex is a sweet girl, and will completely understand. Mone, you all set to head back home? Hank is down in the car waiting."

"Yes, I am Tone. I wish my baby was coming home with me too, but she needs to be here to continue healing for a few more days. Angela, if they give you any trouble, you let them know I'll be back in an instant to whip them into shape!"

"Mother, please don't make me laugh! I'll pull out more stitches."

"Okay, dear. I'll see you in a couple of days, Angela. I love you." Mona leaned over to give her daughter a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you too. Be good for Samantha and Hank, Mother."

"Yeah, yeah, I will. Okay Tone, ready to wheel me down?"

"Sure am! I'll be right back sweetheart."

On their way out to meet up with Hank, Mona said to Tony "I worry about her, I know she's scared about all of this. I see it on her face, so please take care of my baby, Tony."

"I definitely will, Mona. That's why I'm making sure that she has someone with you both while Hank and I run to Iowa. Yes, Sam will be there, but she can't do it all."

"Yeah, I heard the Italian eyesore will be with us. But I'm glad, as she will dote over Angela, especially with her being pregnant."

"She'll take care of BOTH of you. Mrs. R and you may not always get along, but she cares for you like a sister too."

"Ugh, I know Tony. I know."

"Ready to head back home in your own bed?" Hank asked as they approached the car.

"You bet!" was all Mona said.

"Thanks, Hank. I'm sorry Sam isn't feeling well this morning. Let her know I'll call her later."

"Will do, Dad. I think it's just some morning sickness, but she just wants to be safe in case it's anything more. Jonathan and I will be on 'Mona patrol' today."

"Thank you, son. Bye, Mona!"

"Bye, Tony. I'll call Angela later." Mona said.
