Back on the streets of Paris...

Monarch stopped in his tracks, feeling really uneasy after what he'd just heard. Looking at Mister Bug now, all he could see was Adrien Agreste.

His own son.

His green eyes stared back at him with such disgust and anger that he took a step back to get a better look at him.

"Ad-Adrien...?" Monarch said speechless.

He couldn't think of what to do next. Everything just seemed to fall apart once he told him who he was, but he still needed the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous. Feeling for the ring, he twisted it and felt that his plans still held together really well.

"So... It seems you know who I am," Monarch told him, "But, that doesn't matter. I still need you to hand me the Ladybug Miraculous."

Mister Bug suddenly felt his earrings without realizing it. He had reached out and almost took them off, but not before Jirou came in stopped him from doing so. She held his wrist, hoping he would listen to her.

"Mister Bug, what're you doing?" Jirou asked him, glaring at his father, "Don't give it to him! You know what he'll do!"

Then Mister Bug stopped for a moment and realized he had a feeling what he wanted to do. Something about it made him want to give him the Ladybug Miraculous even faster, but at this moment, he stopped and faced his father.

His hand fell by his side and stood up to Monarch.

"I know what you finally want," Mister Bug said to him, "You want to bring my mother back."

Monarch looked a bit thrown off but didn't back down. JinxBug whipped at Jirou, but she was able to use her earphone jack to stun her.

"You want to use the Miraculous to bring her back to us. That's your wish."

Monarch eyes widened as he felt something so wrong about he'd been doing. Cat Noir, one of Parisian's heroes, was his one and only son, and he'd been fighting him all this time.

But he couldn't back out now. Not when he was so close to getting what he wanted.

"Then you understand, Adrien," Monarch said to him with a grin on his face, "We can finally both get what we want. To bring your mother back to us. All I need is to make that wish."

"It's too dangerous. There's no telling what the wish might do!"

"I don't care!" Monarch yelled at him, making his son take a step back, "At this point, I need this Adrien. You wouldn't understand..."

There was silence between them.

Even JinxBug stopped what she was doing and focused on Monarch for a while. Class 1-A was able to take advantage of this moment and pinned her down with their quirks. Todoroki created a block of ice to hold her down, and Ashido took the whip from her.

Mister Bug stood up straight, and soon took off the Ladybug Miraculous, detransforming in front of him. Adrien stood in his place, still shocking Monarch after everything that's happened.

"Ad-Adrien! What're you doing?!" Jirou cried out, "We need you to de-akumatize Ladybug!"

Monarch's smile widened even more, but then faded away once he noticed that he was giving them to Jirou to hold onto. They had swapped Miraculous, and he transformed back into Cat Noir.

Monarch's eyes had a piercing glare the moment Cat Noir stood before him. Of course, he knew it was son, but just seeing him as the one he's after all this time really got his blood boiling.

"Adrien, what're you doing?! You're suppose to get me the Miraculous!"

"You just don't get it, do you?" Adrien asked him, "I saw my mother. In the garden. I even talked to Natalie, and I know she's Mayura. Based on what's going on with her, she's sick just like her. So that means the Peacock Miraculous is what did this my mother."

Monarch took a step back. He didn't expect his son to piece it together so quickly, then again, Natalie had escaped from him and must've told him about what she had done for him.

"Adrien, this is only way I can bring her--"

"You need to stand down, father!" Cat Noir yelled at him, surprising Class 1-A, "Please... You've done enough... It's time to turn yourself in..."

Monarch couldn't believe it. His own son was telling him to give up on all of this. Everything he'd worked so hard on, and it was all for him. He was doing this all for him. He felt his fists clench as he stomped his way over to Cat Noir.

"Yo-You... ungrateful brat!"

Monarch's shadow towered over Cat Noir, and he felt himself shrink like a small kitten as he was about to be smacked by his own father. But something stopped him from doing so.

It was JinxBug's whip. It had wrapped around his arm, and she held it tight.

She broke herself free from Class 1-A, but luckily stopped Monarch in the process.

"What do you think you're doing, JinxBug?!" Monarch cried out, "I need you to grab the Miraculous!"

JinxBug's purple eyes glared at the villain as sweat beaded down her forehead. She looked back to Cat Noir, and he realized that she had somewhat broken free from the Akuma. Her head pounded as he tried to get her to let go of him. He gripped onto the whip and pulled her closer towards him.

He pulled the whip out of her hands, and kicked it away from her.

"Leave her alone, Monarch..." Cat Noir growled at her.

Suddenly, Cat Noir felt a smack against his face, sending him down to the ground. He sat down next to JinxBug, noticing how scared she was of Monarch.

"Come on, Marinette Dupain Cheng. All I need is your Miraculous," Monarch said, revealing her identity.

Cat Noir's eyes widened from shock as he got whiplash looking at Ladybug as if for the very first time. He almost felt himself stumble the moment he looked back at her. The person he'd fallen for was his partner all this time. The one person that understood him, and the one who he went to when no one else understood that he didn't want to be a model anymore.

"Ma-Marinette...?" Cat Noir asked her back with a stunned look on his face, "This can't be happening... Please, don't let Monarch win..."

Ladybug for a moment didn't see Cat Noir, but Adrien Agreste. The boy behind the mask, the boy who she fell for when he handed her the umbrella. His green eyes softened just like his all of those months ago. And in that moment, she didn't feel scared. Cat Noir reached out to hold her hand, and she felt the akumatization fade away. The akuma flew out of the whip, detransforming into the Mouse Miraculous and headed straight back to Monarch's cane.

Then, something caught his attention. There was something on the news outside of Paris. It looked like someone had sent a video or picture to Nadja Shamack. His yell echoed across the streets of Paris, causing people to start to gather around. A crowd started to form, making Monarch want to flee back to his mansion.

It was a picture of Gabriel, Natalie and Emilie. He was holding the Peacock Miraculous.

Monarch's eyes couldn't leave the screen as the crowd that had gathered around were all watching in utter disbelief and shock. They all sent glares his way, making him want to run away.

"Gabriel Agreste is Monarch?!"

"The fashion designer is the villain!"

"Whoa, never thought he'd be the bad guy."

"What about his son, Adrien?"

People started talking amongst the crowd, causing Monarch to retreat. JinxBug had detransformed into Marinette and couldn't stop him from getting away this time around. Todoroki sent out a block of ice to capture him, and successfully did so. Monarch tried to struggle his way out of the ice, but it was no use.

He had failed. The heroes had won.

In the streets of Paris...

The police had soon arrived and were taking Monarch into custody. Once Todoroki had melted the ice, they quickly put handcuffs on him and were sending him over to the car.

Cat Noir had snuck the Ladybug Miraculous over to Marinette when no one was looking and soon enough, Ladybug finally came back to make sure Monarch was taken care of. She'd put the Mouse Miraculous into her yo-yo, smiling at another Miraculous found.

Class 1-A stood by the Parisian heroes's side, watching as the villain they'd beaten being taken away. Monarch's eyes drifted over to Cat Noir, and everyone felt something about this that they weren't expecting.

They felt so bad for Adrien. First his mother and now his father was being taken away from him. They were just so happy he at least had friends and Natalie here to support him.

Cat Noir felt Ladybug's hand gently hold his as she gave him a sincere smile.

Before Monarch could even enter the police car, Ladybug ran over to them. He sent her a glare, but didn't budge.

"Excuse me, but I think he has something that belongs to me," Ladybug told the policemen holding him.

"Of course, Ladybug," One of them said to her.

Ladybug was about to take off the Butterfly Miraculous when suddenly someone pushed passed her and snatched it off before she could. Monarch had detransformed into Gabriel Agreste, confirming everyone's suspicions. Whoever had taken the Butterfly Miraculous, Ladybug spotted them trying to push their way through the crowd.

"Hey! Stop!" Ladybug yelled out as Cat Noir followed her.

They both tried to catch up to the thief, but the crowd was so big that they lost track on them. Ladybug tried to look around for anyone sign of this person, but there was nothing that caught her attention.

"Not again," Ladybug mumbled to herself.

Ladybug swung back over to Cat Noir and Class 1-A looking defeated once again.

"Ladybug, what just happened?" Jirou asked her.

"It's the Butterfly Miraculous... Someone took it."

Ladybug looked like she was about to throw her yo-yo on the ground. Cat Noir knew how she felt. He was right there with her when she'd lost almost all of the Miraculous. And now, the one Miraculous she needed to get back was taken away by some random stranger.

"Ladybug, it's okay," Midoriya said, surprising everyone around him, "We'll get it back. Besides, I kind of owe it to you for saving me back there."

"Bu-But... I didn't do anything. I got akumatized... If anything, I made it worse."

Ladybug began to tear up, and Cat Noir walked up to her. He now knew who she was behind the mask, and all he cared about was comforting her.

"Ladybug, we'll get it back. We'll get all of the Miraculous. I promise."

Cat Noir's eyes never left hers. They both shared a moment that made Jirou feel a little uneasy. She turned around and noticed Bakugo holding a few items.

"Besides, we still need to search my father's stuff. He might've hidden some Miraculous around his office--"

"Bakugo, where did you find those?!" Jirou cried out.

Everyone turned around to notice that Bakugo was holding several of the Miraculous in his hands. The rest of his class was so shocked by what they were seeing that it had to have been Lila or some weird Miraculous power again.

"What?!" Class 1-A cried in unison.

"What do you mean, what?! I found some of the damn jewelry you've been after, Ladybug," Bakugo said to her as he handed over the Miraculous, "I don't know what the big fuss is about, but seeing what Jirou here just pulled off, I'd say these things seem pretty much okay for you to keep."

Ladybug's blue eyes widened in disbelief as she held almost all of the Miraculous. There were a few missing, but still. She couldn't believe it. Tears started to form under her eyes as she felt her knees collapse and cried holding them close to her.

It felt like she had found lost long friends.

Bakugo didn't expect this and just stood there, not sure how to handle this sort of thing.

"Bakugo, I can't believe you actually found some of the Miraculous. I surprised, man," Kirishima said to him, giving him a pat on the back.

"What? You don't think I could've pulled it off?! Is that it?" Bakugo yelled at his friend, and Kirishima let out a laugh.

Ladybug felt herself start to laugh, and Cat Noir knelted down next to her with a big smile on his face. She couldn't hold it back any longer, and Ladybug gave him a big hug. He didn't expect it, but he hugged her back anyway. Now that he knew who she was, it was that much of a victory.

The crowd cheered around them, causing Class 1-A to flinch from the sudden outburst. They all looked around, witnessing a great victory for these heroes. All of the citizens were so happy to be a part of something like this.

"Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug!" The crowd cheered, so happy for Parisian's heroes.

As Cat Noir hugged her, he watched his father be put in the police car and driven away. Away from him.

Cat Noir let go of his partner, and she raised her fist to him. Her teared filled eyes wouldn't leave his side as they both bumped their fists together.

"Pound it!"

Another amazing chapter!

The heroes had done it! They saved Paris from Monarch! Adrien finally stood up to his father and he was taken away by the police. It seems that someone sent a picture to the News Station, revealing Monarch to be Gabriel Agreste! And someone had stolen the Butterfly Miraculous! It was fun writing this chapter, but there's definitely a lot more to come!

Midoriya has a new Miraculous! I wonder what's going to happen next??
