Here's another chapter for y'all. Enjoy and don't forget to REVIEW!

Walking through the desert was just as bad as Jaune thought the experience would be. The beating heat, lack of water, next to no food, no shade and both animals and grimm that wanted to kill him. He was just happy to have bought as much anti-venom as he could carry. The cloud of poison from the Diamond Tail Snake he had cut the head off on pure instinct as the snake jumped at him was point enough of that. He only had one dose of antidote left for the Diamond Tail but had several others for more of the deadly animals and grimm in the desert.

The Spotted Lizard known for being able to shoot their venom. The Prickle Cactus which needles will give you Dysentary. Those were the two most abundant ones that he got antivenom for but then there was the Grimm. The Sand Shark, literally the name describes it, whose bite was designed to get infected. Then there was the Death Worms which while not too dangerous as they were inherently Vacuo's equivelant of the Slinx but moved in packs. Though once they became Alpha's, they would become lone hunters but were far more akin to glass canons. Extremely dangerous and deadly but they died in minimal hits.

Regardless of that Jaune had been traveling for 10 days in the desert now. With each day being an adventure in and of themselves. With the first day having him run into two separate Dimond Tail snakes with the second being the one that he had to use one of his antidotes for. That same night he had been attacked by a small pack of Death Worms. He took care of the worms easily enough by baiting them with his supplies. Tossing his supplies around him disturbing the ground so they he was there and popped up leaving them completely open to his sword.

The next three days after that sleepless night Jaune was assailed relentlessly by a pack of Ruxin's. Vacuo's equivalent of Beowolves but were far more dog-like in nature and you would never find one alone like beowolves. Pack punters to the extreme they resembled Hyena's in the way that they looked. Their likeness didn't there as they even sounded like the hyenas with their laughing howl. Something that made discerning the difference between the two hard while they were hunting him until he saw them standing at the top of a dune several hundred meters from him.

Day and night they stalked him never letting him rest and with his limited supplies of water that was a problem as he couldn't set up his water catcher. What interested Jaune however was the fact that these Grimm did not outright attack him like he expected them too. They stalked and hounded him for those three days wearing him down and making him tired. A rather impressive strategy for a pack of regular Ruxin's. Leading Jaune to suspect that one of them was about to become an Alpha. A thought that forced his hand.

Jaune found himself at the top of a dune at the end of the third day as the moon was in full swing and the unbearable heat had become cold. The small pack of seven Ruxin surrounded and began circling. Their laughing howl mocked him as they circled and waited for an opportunity. Jaune had his shield out with his AK propped up on the shield and watched the Ruxin trying to discern which one was the one that was going to become an Alpha.

He found his target two minutes into his waiting as one of the Ruxin's broke from the pack momentarily only to be cowed back into place by another of the Ruxin growling at them. With the lapse of attention on him and the discovery of the Alpha Jaune flicked his AK to fully auto and fired 10 shots into the Ruxin. The Grimm never saw the shots before the first two slammed into their head and the rest hit the body causing the Ruxin to begin evaporating instantly.

With the leader taken care of Jaune dropped his AK and grabbed his sword as the rest of the Ruxin charged him. No longer being able to hold themselves back without their leader. The fight from there was not one Jaune was proud of. He still wasn't all that used to fighting on the desert sand and more than once found himself on his back because he lost his footing.

Two Ruxin charging him from each side he dodged to the side avoiding all four Ruxin but found himself slipping on the loose sand. Tumbling down the Dune he lost his sword on the way down. Righting himself to his feet after he stopped tumbling a Ruxin was already in the air jumping at him. Blocking with his shield he used the Grimm's momentum to carry the monster over him and slammed them into the ground before pulling back and used the edge of his shield to cave in the Grimm's head.

Spinning back around grabbing his pistol with his shield hand while using the straps of the shield to hold it in place on his arm he grabbed his ax with his right hand. While he did that and spun around however, another Ruxin was already there and slammed into his shield bouncing off. The impact made him stumble back but not throwing him to the ground. The distance generated from the Ruxin's bounce back allowed him to aim his pistol and put a shot into the Grimm's face dropping the monster instantly.

The instant he did that the remaining four Ruxin slammed into him in a pincer formation he should've seen coming. Upending by knocking his legs out from under him, never seeing the attack coming as he tried to block all four with his shield. A fact he recognized as a mistake and rather stupid on his part. Acknowledging that the Ruxin he was facing were far smarter than he had given them credit for. The way they coordinated and were able to attack me even without their pack leader showed that enough. In other words, Jaune had underestimated the grimm.

With him lying on his back, he was barely able to get his shield up in time to block three of the Ruxin as they jumped at him to maul his upper body. Never seeing the fourth that went for and bit into his left leg. Grunting in pain from the attack he kicked the Grimm with his free leg unlatching the jaws from his other leg. At the same time shoving off two of the Ruxin with his shield before burying his ax into the head of the other one trying to maul his upper body.

Lurching to his feet he pointed his pistol at the one that had bit into his leg and fired three shots. The first and third slamming into their neck and head respectively killing the beast. Leaving the final two which charged him blindly. Knocking away one with his shield, he slapped the other with the flat of his ax's blade before kicking the Grimm's head with an aura infused leg violently snapping the neck of the Grimm.

The final Grimm took one look at that and turned tail running away. Seeing that these Grimm were indeed smarter than most from that simple act he didn't let the Grimm get away. Firing his pistol until he ran empty on his mag and the Grimm dropped to the desert ground dissolving. Jaune looked down at his grieves he saw that the armor was in terrible shape. Still salvageable and with a decent amount of integrity left but would need a full-on rework the moment he got to a town. The openings on the grieves too allowed sand in and he could already feel the sand on his toes. Taking some tape and cloth he wrapped the grieve up to not allow any more sand in.

After that Jaune picked up the rest of his weapons and set up camp for the night. Heading out early the next morning.

With him no longer being hunted by Grimm, he was more than free to continue his trek across the desert. That's not to say the journey was easy as after a day of relative peace, if not for the desert being even hotter that day, he settled down for the night. Only by the time his tent was set up did he hear the wind begin to howl all around him. Looking in the distance, he saw a massive cloud of sand headed his way. Breaking down his tent he curled on the ground and used the sheet of the tent as a cover before impaling his sword into the ground next to him.

The sandstorm that hit lasted for two days and nights not including the night the storm started on. He could do nothing but weather the storm in silence as he settled to wait near the top of a dune giving him the best cover available. Eating only small bits of his rations and taking small sips of his water as the storm continued. He was not looking forward to dealing with all the sand that he could already feel under his armor.

When the storm did finally subside, he had to grab onto his sword and shake loosening the sand above himself. When the sand was sufficiently loose, he pushed himself up and broke out from sand that was covering him. The beating sun slamming into him as his two days of darkness made the heat of the sun all the worse.

All of that getting worse when he found a cactus after a couple hours of travel. He had read that the cacti of the desert were edible but only to be eaten in small portions at a time. The reason behind that becoming evident after he ate a portion of the inner cactus after cutting the top of the plant off. About half an hour after eating, he began to hallucinate.

From fake Grimm that had him swinging his weapons wildly to talking mushrooms and sand. Disturbingly all the hallucinations were extremely realistic and most of them talked to him in some way. The Grimm, of all different types with many not even native to Vacuo, mocked him and called him not only weak but a waste. The plants and animals were surprisingly philosophical when they talked to Jaune; the mushroom notwithstanding. That particular plant talked about the inevitability of Death and was frankly just creepy.*

The effects of the cactus flesh lasted for several hours before they subsided. Leaving him lying flat on his back and staring up into the nights sky. He normally would've enjoyed the sparkling and star coated night sky but couldn't muster up the courage to do so. His experience with the hallucination leaving him thoroughly exhausted. That being said, he kept a good bit of the cactus meat because he was honestly curious if he would able to use their affects and apply them to his weapons. Either that or poisoning a water supply with the meat, having a bunch of hallucinating Bandits would make killing them easy.

Waking the next morning he found himself stepping out of his tent only to find himself face to face with a pack of desert hyena's. They immediately attacked him and Jaune was forced to fight them without his weapons. Thankfully they weren't nearly as strong, fast or intelligent as their Grimm counterpart. The fight lasted about thirty seconds as he broke the neck of one Hyena with his hands before caving in the chest of another with a kick. When the rest of the Hyena's saw that they turned tail and ran.

That was his only break over those first 10 days. The next three days finding him extremely low on water. Not at all helped by the fact that the oasis that was marked on his map was no longer there, thus cutting him off from resupplying his water. Making the journey through the desert even more difficult as he had to be mindful with his remaining water. That fact alone had him naturally hallucinating at some points when he hadn't been getting enough water.

The final day of those first 10 days ending with him stumbling upon a bandit camp. Their gear and general way they both looked and acted told him as much. Guessing they would have bounties on their head he could exchange for room and board he attacked the bandits. Venting his frustration that had built up over those first 10 days. Though he did spend two hours watching them from a distance just to observe them and see their numbers, his rational side winning out instead of his anger. Plus, with the way they were drinking, the longer he waited the better. Even though his blood singed to kill them now as he saw people in cages.

All the bandits were caught with their pants down as they had been celebrating with drink. Nine of the 15 bandits were already passed out from all the alcohol when he got there and four the remaining six were barely functioning. One of the remaining two bandits was diligently walking around the perimeter so Jaune assumed him to be the newbie of the group. Not that the fact mattered to Jaune as he got behind the man and slit his throat.

After finishing the sentry off he casually walked into the camp and killed those sleeping. first staying out of sight of the ones still barely conscious. The conscious ones all around the campfire and away from their tents making the job easy for him. Methodically going through their tent and slitting the throats of those sleeping.

When he finished that he began wondering the camp looking for the last remaining guard. He didn't have to look long as he heard sounds coming from the biggest tent in the camp. Wasn't all that big but was bigger than the rest by a fair margin. Knowing what was going on before he even saw Jaune already decided how he would deal with the apparent leader.

Sneaking in he saw the man pinning down a girl around Jaune's age and raping her. Being as quiet as possible he snuck up behind the man before grabbing him by the shoulder and shoving him backwards and away from the girl. The anger in the man's eyes burning before they were instantly replaced with fear at seeing Jaune's aura coat his hand and knife. He tried to say something but couldn't as all the air in his lungs was punched out by Jaune's fist burying itself into the man's stomach. Collapsing onto the ground the man tried to speak but his voice came as a squeal as Jaune grabbed his dick and then cut off the appendage with his knife before shoving the appendage into the bandit leader's mouth.

Not bothering to give him any more of his time Jaune turned around and handed his knife to the girl as he mechashifted the weapon into a pistol. With that done he walked out of the tent with his AK cocked and opened fire on the bandit's who had heard the sound of their leader. They never had a chance to defend themselves or beg as he killed them.

Once done with that he looked around and found the keys to the cages before going over to them and opening them up. Getting small nods of thanks he turned back and went to the big tent to check on the girl. He arrived to her looking down dispassionately at the bandit who now had a whole in their head. When she heard him however, she looked over to him and gave a small bow.

"Master," that shocked Jaune so much that he took a few moments to register what she had said. Stopping him halfway to her chains that currently bound her along with what looked an aura suppressing collar used by prisons.

"Wait, backup; I'm not your master," he spoke to the girl who had been raped. Her shortish dark red/purple hair framing her gunmetal eyes as she looked at him confusedly.

"But ma-" Jaune cut her off for a moment trying to deflect.

"One sec, hey!" he poked his head out of the tent and shouted to the recently freed people who were looting, 15 in total with nine women all around their mid-teens to mid-twenties. Three men around the same ages as the women and three kids, two girls and one boy, who all couldn't have been older than six. "I want any money they have on them; payment for your freedom."

He needed the money and had read that Vacuoan people would hold debts for acts like he did until they were paid off. A weird honor and recompense thing tied into their survival of the fittest mentality most of the people in Vacuo had. Which getting them to loot all the available money and give to him would make them even in their eyes; he hoped that would be the case at least. Which did tie into his current situation but never would've thought that would reach the height he was currently experiencing with the girl in front of him.

Retreating back into the main tent, he used the key to unbind her from the chains and take the collar off. Tossing the chains and collar away he grabbed what looked like her cloths in the corner and tossed them to her. She started getting dressed the moment she had them in hand.

"I'm not your master," he cut back as he turned his head sharply back to the girl in front of him. A small part of him wanted him to not deny that and take the girl as her master. The power trip would be something new to him and the fact that the girl was very pretty and around his age helped things along. He completely rejected the thought but he was a young man with raging hormones so who would blame him for a simple thought at having a pretty girl at his beck and call.

"But Master I ha-"

"Jaune. My name is Jaune, not master," saying that seemed to stop her in her tracks.

"Ma- I mean Jaune," she hastily corrected as if he would punish her for that. "I have a debt to settle with you. You saved me from being a slave and at best, being a whore," she spoke the last few words softly and looked away with shame over her face. Reaching out to her she flinched back from him almost instinctively before her eyes widened and fear filled them.

"I'm sorry ma- I mean Jaune. I should not shy away from you," Jaune pinched the bridge of his nose and took several deep breaths trying to calm himself. Realizing now why Aedon and his group had never let him travel alone on the few occasions they had been in Vacuoan territory. Some information here would've been much appreciated though.

"How can we make this go away?" Jaune asked the girl who nodded along with that thought. Which was a point in Vacuo's side for this. Didn't seem that this situation was meant to be permanent and slavery or 'indentured servitude' were really allowed outside of temporary moments. Still rubbed him the wrong way that something like this could happen regardless.

"Well…" the girl looked both embarrassed and frightened as she hung her head. "You could pick up from where that man ended," her voice barely a whisper laced with hope that he wouldn't go down that road.

"Absolutely not," the girl visibly relaxed. Mostly for the fact that act would literally be rape but also because if he was going to get laid, he'd rather earn it the right way. By wooing the girl. "What other options are there?"

"It's all up to you but to make the task meaningless would not look good on me since others already know what you did for me. It would show that I am worth nothing to you, not strong or able to contribute which would affect me in Vacuo," the girl explained to him having caught on that he wasn't in the know for customs in Vacuo. At that point Jaune was really starting to regret coming to Vacuo. He really should've just said fuck it and taken the month-long trek from Karachi to the nearest port and gone to Menagerie.

"Okay," Jaune spoke thinking long and hard about what she could give him that would help him out. Which amounted to a decent amount as he didn't know much about Vacuo. "While we make the trek to the nearest town for the freed others you will explain to me everything you know about Vacuo. Also, you will update my map and inform me of all the players in Vacuo that you know of."

"Players?" she cocked her head to the side in obvious confusion instantly lowering Jaune's standards on what she could know.

"Underground. Groups to avoid. Who runs the black markets, etcetera," her eyes widened with recognition and Jaune's hope was renewed. "While we travel to the nearest town you will tell me all you know but by next morning I want all that you know written down on paper and in a scroll file for me."

"That should be enough m- Jaune," she looked sheepish at almost saying master again as if she expected him to harm her when he obviously showed he wouldn't. What type of life did Vacuoan's live for this to practically be the norm? No wonder Vacuo was considered the worst Kingdom to live in. Which makes sense when you look at the top 30 Hunters in the world and 17 of them come from Vacuo. Harsh lives breed strength.

"Good," he stated to her before turning to where the looters were doing their job prepared to shout. He was then surprised to see that all of them were standing only a few feet from him and the girl. The moment his eyes rested on them the closest one stepped forward slowly and held out a bag to Jaune. Taking the bag from the man he opened it and got to see a large amount of Lien. Prompting him to stuff the bag into his pack immediately.

"Alright everyone," he shouted to everyone as they stayed silent at his words. "My servant will be showing us to the next town. I've discovered that my map is out of date so we shall be relying on her but keep calm and trust in me. No matter what comes to us I will protect you."

Jaune intended three things with that minor improvised speech to the small group of former almost slaves. The first being that his equipment/information was faulty lowering the standards for their stupid honor system. While the second intention was showing that the girl was both off limits to others but would be helping to correct his map. Finally, by giving them small bits of hope which would be easy to do after saving them from bandits and poverty.

There was nothing special or heroic about how he went about doing this. It was simply his last sentence in his small speech to the freed slaves. Just that he was there and would protect them. A rather eloquent demand of himself that he would do everything he could to protect them.

As he finished, he looked to his 'servant' and gestured with his hand to start walking. He felt dirty calling her servant and cursed himself for not asking her name beforehand. She nodded her head and began walking West away from the bandit camp.

"What's your name?" he asked the pretty girl as they walked. Taking the time to look her up and down now. Form fitting clothes that weren't too tight with a very athletic body, bronze tanned skin, soft and pretty face that still had a bit of baby fat in her cheeks. Calloused hands as well but she walked in a calm and assured demeanor with a sort of ingrained patience.

"May sir. May Zedong," she spoke to him in a quiet voice. She wasn't shy though in the way she spoke, she just had a quiet voice. Like she was trying to be quiet. Narrowing his eyes slightly Jaune looked to hers as she looked out over the desert in front of them. Scanning them as if a hawk would. Her head moving slowly around as her eyes analyzed the environment in from them. Just like how Aedon and his group would at times.

"Are you training to be a hunter?" he asked her and instead of looking at him to answer, she kept looking out over the desert as she answered. Though that act told him all he needed to know before her actual answer.

"I am. I'm currently on break from the Shade Preparatory Academy. Though I'll be about a month and a half late from returning because of those bandits," he saw the anger in her eyes as she spoke but didn't lose control and get emotional. Like she was analyzing her current predicament with a detached demeanor pushing down all she experienced. Seeing that was frightening to Jaune. She was definitely traumatized.

"How many times?" he cursed his mouth for blurting that out but the damage was done. He saw her flinch at the question before she took a deep breath.

"Every day. Though it did save me in a way," Jaune looked at her with a quirked eyebrow at that comment. She answered by looking at him with a surprisingly warm smile on her face. "They liked me too much to sell me and then you came along."

The moment she was done talking her smile became like a beacon of light to Jaune. He could practically feel the warmth the smile emanated. A calming feeling washing over him as he saw the purity of her smile in that moment. To him, seeing that smile was well worth the last 10 days of absolute crap that he had endured since entering the desert.

"How did they get you if you're a hunter in training?" he asked her quietly still basking in the warmth of her smile even if the smile did dim at his question.

"They raided in the middle of the night. Drugged me and then tied me up and never kept their binds off me… I'm not the best at hand to hand either way."

"That needs to change. Hunters can specialize but they should never be sub-par in any area," Jaune spoke reciting the words he had heard from Aedon years ago when he began teaching Jaune.

"A lesson only life can teach you as I found out," she answered and that was the end of their conversation. Devolving into a peaceful silence between each other as they kept on moving forward.

Two hours later the walls of a town came into view and they kept on walking. The moment the walls came into view Jaune and May were greeted with the sight of something coming their way and kicking up dust along the way. Jaune immediately got his AK out and levelled his sights on the dust cloud. He couldn't see what that was as he only had iron sights on his gun but kept the weapon trained on the front of the dust cloud regardless. He needn't have worried however as once the cloud got close enough he saw what was making the cloud.

Breathing a sigh of relief, he lowered his AK before putting the weapon back on his back. May didn't look confused at all seeing his action as if she had seen the thing before he did. Which looking at her might've been the case. Her eyes were like hawks and had an analyzing look to them. With her being self admittedly bad at hand to hand even with her athletic body he assumed her to be some type of long-range fighter.

A couple minutes later a group of four trucks stopped in front of Jaune and May. They were all basic utility trucks but Jaune recognized their make. The Storpin* model if he remembered correctly; well known for being ridiculously reliable and never breaking down. Having first got onto the road over 40 years ago even the original models were still going strong. The car equivalent of his AK essentially.

A man of respectable height stepping out of the closest car he was maybe an inch or two taller than Jaune. Salt and pepper hair that was completely untamed going every which way on his head and a beard that was the exact same way. A round face with piercing pink eyes and the body of a man that had seen hell. The scars on his arms showing that even if he had none on his face.

"H-H-Headmaster Crew," May stuttered next to Jaune. He had already recognized the man though; Theodore Crew. Jaune's hand was on the pommel of his sword out of pure instinct. Aedon had told him to never engage the man in any facet unless he had an overwhelming advantage; something Jaune did not have.

Theodore Crew is the headmaster of Shade Academy and arguably the strongest hunter in existence at the moment. His weapon, Standler, a simple sword that could shift into a rifle was credited with more Grimm and rogue huntsman kills than any other in the world. Was the only person, to Jaune's knowledge, known to have taken on and won against multiple Elder ranked Grimm besides Aedon. His semblance, Bend, allowed him to manipulate time within a five-foot radius around himself when activated. He was the number one ranked Huntsman in the entire world; though Jaune did wonder how a fight between Crew and Aedon would end.

"May Zedong," Theodore spoke in a calming and caring voice as he approached. His mere presence though had Jaune on edge. Jaune slowly going into a combat stance and got in front of May protectively. May may have recognized him but just purely on an instinctual level his gut was screaming at him; telling him Crew was an enemy. Probably having something to do with vast amounts of aura the man was releasing. Jaune couldn't see the aura as others could but he could feel the them for sure.

"Who is your friend?" Theodore asked as he rested his hand on the grip of his sword. His legs tensing preparing to move and eliminate the threat. He could feel Jaune's aura and even as young as he was, Theodore knew he could be a problem if he had set a trap. Instinctually he knew Jaune was far too young to stand a chance against him but if Jaune had laid several traps, especially with all the 'hostages' he had. He didn't know if Jaune had planted traps on the recently freed slaves or not. Theodore didn't live as long as he had in this profession by letting his guard down.

"He… is our savior Professor. He killed the bandits that had held us," May spoke to Theodore. The man nodding his head in acceptance but never once taking his eyes off of Jaune.

"Than I must thank you young man. I have seen the potential in Miss Zedong and do not plan on wasting that talent," he gave a smile to them both with May responding in kind with a genuine smile. Jaune and Theodore however looked at each other as if they would be fighting over the last scrap of meat. Watching the other for any sudden movements.

"Think nothing of it, sir. Afterall, when others fail, I will be there," the subtle jab towards Theodore seemed to instantly hit home for the man. Neither of them truly understood why but the instant they were within touching distance of each other, they instantly hated each other. That was far below Theodore's standard but there was something about Jaune that just rubbed him the wrong way. The same thing happening for Jaune.

"If I may sirs. I believe that we should retire for the coming night," May stated breaking the two of them out of their self-induced stupor. Exchanging a glance between themselves, they each nodded.

"I think that might be best Miss Zedong. Let us retire," Theodore spoke and the rest of the recently freed slaves piled into the Storpin trucks. Once everyone was in the bed of the trucks they made their way back to the city.

Upon entering said city named Baltan, all of them dispersed and most made their way to the local hotel. Those that didn't had family in the area that would take care of them. However, May did neither and spent her time with Jaune as he sat at the bar of a local pub and just relaxed. Taking his sweet time as he thought back on his thought process that he had suffered over the last 10 days. Even thought it was far beyond obvious that May had suffered far more than him.

The hearty people that Vacuo created were truly the ones who could survive anywhere in his eyes. He may have not like Vacuo for their certain practices to others, but he understood their mentality. That the strongest truly do rule above others.

Only the strong can protect the weak but that does not make them better. The strong are the ones that will rule but they also must protect all those under them. They must make the world around them better through their actions. By making the world better and that starts with the lowest. The top raising the lowest up so that they make the world better through their own actions.

That was Jaune's philosophy, but the Vacuan people believed that only the purely strong were truly the ones to lead.

As Jaune sat at the bar of the hotel, May eventually went back to their hotel room. Having been paid by Theodore but Jaune did not. Instead, he sat at the bar and stared off into space trying to calculate a way that he could win. Win Vacuo to himself, Theodore to his side, all hunters to his side. All of that bundling into the fact that Jaune couldn't. That dream just wouldn't happen without a lot of outside factors that he wouldn't trust.

"How's Aedon?" a voice spoke to Jaune's left making his head snap to the left. When he did, he saw Theodore taking the seat next to him as he looked straight at Jaune's eyes like a laser beam. Silently demanding answers.

"Good as far as I know. Been several months since I saw him," Jaune answered back vaguely. He knew in his heart that he couldn't lie to the man but could be vague enough so that he wouldn't know everything.

"Good… How much do you know of the man?" Theodore asked him.

"I know next to nothing, but I just don't care about all of that bullshit," that singular comment brought a smile to Theodore's lips.

"We may just make a Vacuan out of you yet. You sound exactly like Aedon," that got a raised eyebrow out of Jaune as he fully turned his head towards Theodore. An action that had Theodore chuckling at him.

"I assume he never told you about his name in Vacuo, did he?" Jaune shook his head at the question earning a smile from Theodore.

"His name, his old name, in Vacuo is The Vampire," Theodore answered Jaune earning a confused look from Jaune. "Ask Miss Zedong. The story of the Vampire is well known here but just remember. For all of Aedon's faults he is a good man."

Then Theodore got up from his seat tossing enough lien for three drinks before disappearing into the night. Jaune looked after the man but couldn't see the man anywhere as he seemingly disappeared into the night. That left Jaune lonely at the bar, silently looking up into the star filled sky until another hand rested upon his shoulder. Grabbing the hand out of instinct and twisting around with his knife ready he stopped himself. For, in front of him, was May.

"Come on Jaune. Let's go to bed," Her tone was not suggestive at all in the slightest way but watching her body as she pulled him along towards a room, he couldn't help himself from watching her body. How she moved in a sort of contained elegance captured his attention. She was a hunter and he loved seeing that in someone his age. His hormones getting the better of him. After all, who could truly blame him?
