I am writing this on the airing of the Hazbin Hotel show that I am watching very legally. It's currently on episode 4 on the site I'm watching it on, so I'll try and keep this story up-to-date with the cannon lore. We've only seen so much of a few characters so I will need to interpret a few of their traits when I add them. Yes, new character can be in the harem but that will come after Ishi is, you know, 11! Oh, and with my excitement at the release of the show and all the- the- the EVERYTHING they've dropped in the first episodes, I may or may not have pushed the dimension merge forward... fuck you it's my story, I can have Alastor in it!
Don't worry, this wont turn into a Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss FanFiction, it'll be a gamer one, focusing on his relations of all kind, the action and everything blood, red and HELL!
Now, this chapter is a lot of describing. Ishi's building his city and it'll take a lot of descriptions for me to be happy with what I want it to look like. If you do not like it, skim over the chapter, though it still has important info. So, if you are into cool looking shit and building cities and landscapes, then this chapter is for you! If not, then this will be mildly interesting or mind-numbingly boring.
Oh and I'll be responding to reviews that I find interesting in these AN's, starting next chapter! So write anything you want answered!
"Why can I buy 'Random HL2 scientist?', I need somebody extraordinary!" it's been a few minutes and Ishi has only gotten an expansion for his tower, a reception between the entrance and the staircase leading to his room. Yes, it's just a normal reception but red and more red. Now he's looking for somebody to man the new desk. Ishi plans on doing the Dimension merge the next time he enters Hell, so he needs to prepare everything. "I might have to turn on the time stop again at this rate." He pinches the bridge of his eyes.
"I'm tired of searching, I'll do the buildings first." he enters his birds eye view again, the same one he used to construct the rest of his realm, and he moves to the barren area in front of the entrance to his tower as well as that general direction. Ishi thinks for a bit, trying to think of a design he can use that is original enough. "I was originally planning on something Cult Of Mechanicus style but I cannot see it working right now, it'll be more expensive too." he continues to think.
And think.
And t-
"I could try this..." he searches for the construct he is imagining and, after a few seconds, he finds it. "There we go." After spending 50 P, a small structure of white marble is in front of the young demon king. Big enough to fit All Might in his Hero form and with a circular floor and ceiling wide enough for a car, four pillars connecting both, this marble structure is what he imagined. But it is not just a normal marble mini temple. "This is where my people appear when they enter my ring the normal way, through whatever gateways I place in other rings."
Small gold lines decorate the pillar and carvings in darker white stone of Maligog and Ishi in front of his chest adorn the bottom part of the roof. The floor has an engraving of what he would imagine is a magic circle, probably meant for the traversal of his layers. Ishi likes the white and gold, what he would imagine heaven has as a theme, in his Hell. "Yes, I can give them the expectation of a peaceful layer but, taking inspiration from Layer 7 of ULTRAKILL, I'll make it the most dangerous and guarded. For obvious reasons, of course."
Continuing with building what he has decided to call The Temples Of Violence, Ishi Imagines his next structure. He can feel his dark magic responding and, a few meters away from the entrance, a ring of the same marble and gold detailed themed building appears. The ring has four large open gates spaced in the direction of each direction, one north which is towards his tower, one south, one west which leads towards the back end of the mountains and one east, which has nothing like the south.
He looks at his dark magic skill after he felt it being used to modify a marble block he bought from the store at the exact moment he thought of this ring and he sees no level progress. "Yeah, as I thought. I can still use my skills, they just wont level. I could've tested this at any time but I was too lazy, I guess." He still has some leftover marble and gold, so he creates a half-circle roof over the entire space, fitting perfectly on top of the outer ring. Everything turns dark as all 'natural' light disappears. "Shit." He get's on with his next idea of decorating his entrance, after all, he wants to make a good impression on anybody who is arriving.
Another 40 P and the ceiling disappears. It is still there physically and it would look the same from the outside but from where Ishi is standing, which is next to the mini temple, the roof is replaced with a three-dimensional image of some random part of the universe. It looks like he took out a part of space and put it a about ten meters above the temple. Currently, the 'image' that is being displayed is of one thousands of kilometers below the solar system, far enough to where he can see all the planets.
In the back of his mind he knows he can display anything he wants there, but for now he sits down on the stony floor to gaze at the view no human has had before. "Wow." He feels like he could make a snarky comment or say that it would amaze anybody entering his ring, but he doesn't. Right now, he only wants to show this to Mina and his Mom.
"That's not happening, what would they think of me?" He has honestly thought of telling them both but he just couldn't do it. He needs to keep this part of himself secret until the right time or else he'd be branded inhuman, he's sure. Christianity is still prevalent in this universe and Ishi doubts they'd like him all that much. As for telling his mom and/or Mina, he has two reasons for not doing so. First and most importantly, he's not involving them in this, especially Mina, she's 11. Secondly, he doesn't know how they'd react.
...
"Anyway, the floor needs some work. Hmm... I'll go with red grass and trees with leaves of the same color." The space around him turns and is filled with flora of his specification, the trees even emitting a red glow. A few stone of pure black later, and he's done with the entrance. "Looks good, if I do say so myself!" As a final touch, he engraves imagery of Maligog, Himself and a few of his demons either fighting, just chilling or dying on the inside walls.
He turns in the direction of the gateway towards his tower and walks into it. The ring is thick enough to fit about 10 people. "I'll need some signs so people know where they're going." He nods to himself and turns to his inner author.
A few minutes later and an extrusion of marble is on the left side of the hallway. In elegant handwriting is written:
Towards the City of Immora,
If you are in search of the King then you need to prove your worth.
You have entered the Temples Of Violence and they will test you yet,
If you are welcome then you will be given safe passage, but if not, then set forth
And your blood will paint our white halls RED. You will keep the trees FED.
"I'm no poet but I think I did well." Well for now, he needs to begin sculpting the landscape of his first cityscape. But that's not that hard, he's already created a template inside his space dome thingy. So, he enters his birds eye view and, with help of the systems build mode, his dark magic and a few points, the next few kilometers around him are transformed into a field of red grass. Yes, a few groups of the Blood Trees are sprinkled around but the majority is just plains of grass.
He exits his birds eye perspective and walks out of his dome fully. The first thing he sees is that the space towards his tower and everything in front of it's entrance is covered in this red grass. A few black stones too along with one or two trees, their leaves slowly drifting towards the floor before being quickly replaced, an effect Ishi bought for esthetics. "I feel weirdly accomplished. Just knowing this is my creation makes me so happy that it turned out this pretty."
The eleven year old then continues to build. "Now I'll build the path towards my tower. Starting with..."
The time stop will be turned back on or you will have to exit, it has been 5 hours.
He blinks at the notification in front of him, it having jumped him out of his thoughts. "Yes, yes, turn it back on."
Done
"Continuing." Now knowing that he has full creative control over what he can build as long as he has enough marble and gold or whatever he needs, he can think more freely. "I need some glass and black metal." buying both for only 5 P he can finally place his creation. A corridor stretches 100 Meters in front of him, four large windows on either sides. The roof is of the same material as the one in the dome and is in the same circular shape, only stretched along the hallway. Also, in front of each window are small round protrusions like platforms, where statues could fit on.
A red carped with golden designs lays on the floor from one side to the other. But that's not the only thing about this carpet, this piece of cloth is the defense mechanism of this room.
Magic Carped (Spawn Pools)
If regularly supplied with MP, it can summon a number of monsters from itself.
Monster: Blood Conglomerate (100 MP)
Blood Conglomerate Tier 5
This is a magical creature that takes the form of the biggest fear of it's target. It's entire body is made of blood and will always regenerate at no MP cost. To destroy it you must break the core, which is a coin sized red orb somewhere in it's body. It has the skills;
Blood Magic
Regeneration
Magical Mitosis
Vampirism
Syphon strength
Major Shapeshift
Major (limited) skill creation
This cost 25 P but it was very worth is. Ishi found out that he could make anything a spawn point if it's 'magical'. He can even summon this creature to the overworld if he wants to, he can even make them roam the rest of the Violence Plains if he continues to give this thin MP to spawn them. Right now though, he can only summon one. "Let's see what I apparently fear the most." he let's most of his MP flow into the carpet. He looks towards the end of the carpet and sees it bubble, as if it's red fabric was a pool of blood.
You have received a notification from one of your servants:
Blood Conglomerate 1:
'I cannot. You fear something I am too weak to embody, I shall use the second.'
"Ah, what the fuck does that mean?" He cannot think about it too much before a hand emerges from the carpet. It's made of blood and has the same color, for now. It drags the rest of it's body from the depths of wherever it's at and a humanoid figure emerges. Ishi needs not to wait for it's colors to change to know who it is.
"All For One. Yeah, that makes sense. I've been breaking my head over how to defeat him a while back. I know I'm stronger than his cannon version but still, what if he's different here? What if he didn't get that injured or has more servants in the league?" he shakes his hand and walks towards his minion, the blood conglomerate mimicking the posture of the super villain, his hands together in front of him. "You can roam the fields, gain fighting experience." It nods at him, the helmet normally meant to keep the true person alive now only serving decorative purpose. It swiftly disappears, Ishi thinks it's imitating some quirk AFO has to teleport.
He takes a deep breath. 'It's just an imitation... fuck, AFO is intimidating even as a mimic.' he turns to the small platforms he placed parallel to the carpet. "Yeah, it's obvious what goes here." -50 P and a new spawn pool is created, one he'd be using quite a lot from now on. A feminine humanoid mannequin with limbs made of multiple arms and legs, blood pouring out of it's joints, the Mannequin from Ultrakill is summoned on the platform.
AN: If you want an image to know what these look like, look up 'Ultrakill Mannequin'.
Mannequin Spawn Pools
10 = Half a ton of marble, a liter of blood, a few limbs,
100 = A ton of marble, three liters of blood, two corpses
1000 = Ten tons of marble, ten liters of blood, ten corpses.
Yes, the very same things that move an all fours on ceilings and walls, firing blue skull projectiles and only wake up when you get too close. "It's cool that I got a few free ones on each platforms." Ishi nods to himself, proud of his accomplishments and walks to the end of the hall, where a large door made of marble cuts the corridor off. At just his thoughts, the door creeks open and he can see the field of about two or three kilometers between him and the entrance to his spire.
Then, a brilliantly horrific idea hits Ishi as a smile appears on his face, one very much displaced on an eleven year old.
"Time to welcome the second Lord of Hell..."
Zombie PoV
Hunger...
The dominating thought on the zombie courses through it's head as it stumbles into a field of red.
Blood...
It seems to think that the grass is made of blood and, well, it's not too wrong. As it walks forward the red blades become more prevalent as the usual red floor disappears. the undead has no higher thought but even it can feel, which is a debatably good quality considering the following situation.
It's rotten ears pick up a high pitched scream in the distance and the zombies head turns upward to survey the area. The ground starts to shake when another scream echoes through the fields, a terrible foreboding tremble.
Danger...
But the zombie ignores it, not thinking much of the noise, or not thinking much at all. It continues to limp forward, passing a few white buildings, they seem fit for inhabitants from what it can see, containing a light source, doors and widows along their rectangular bodies. Some even have fences fit for life stock but the zombie would not know better.
"EEEEEAAAAAAACH" The same scream blows out it's already scarred eardrums as the zombie swiftly turns around. A black void greets it, it's what is replacing the face of the charcoal-skinned head that is staring right at the Zombie. Now, even an undead can feel fear. The head slowly retreats upward to reveal the rest of it's body. A long neck, long enough to fit a man connects the eerie face and the rest of the creatures body.
Speaking of which, it does not look any healthier. It's hunched over posture and the spine protrudes out of it's thin skin like spikes and the ribs can be clearly seen together with it's six boney arms, each holding a scythe of black metal. But the most notable thing is the mount of the demon, a completely skeletal horse serves as the riding animal for this undead. But most of these features are barely concealed by very thin pieces of black cloth that lay upon their backs, necks and arms.
Death...
Yes, that is what awaits the zombie now.
Ishi PoV
The Horseman Of Death decapitates Ishi's test subject swiftly and cleanly before continuing it's roaming of the barren fields. He could not be prouder. And it only cost 270P for one of his most powerful minions, who even had a discount for theming by the system, together with sprinkling little villages made of marble on the fields of violence, so it's an actual livable area.
The four Horseman of The Apocalypse:
The Horseman of Death, Thanatos.
One of the Hell Lords or Ishi, he is also part of the FHOTA. It is immensely powerful and the first to be created amongst it's brethren. It is only loyal to it's creator and is otherwise only interested in spreading death and serving it's master. Each of it's scythes embody either different paths to death or pains, which Thanatos uses to deliver them. Violence, distinguished by a red color along the bottom of it's blade. Decay, with a gray color along the same stretch of metal. The other four blades are less powerful and only contain major pains, cut, burn, freeze and crush, all having the colors white, orange, blue and black respectively.
It costs 1000 MP to summon.
Ishi is planning on having one horseman for each city he builds but right now he keeps Thanatos roaming the stretch between the corridor and his tower. "If this was an actual city I would need infrastructure but it is not. Whoever lives here is in actual Hell, they should be thankful that they even have housing. I plan on making this the only ring of punishment, the rest of hell will flourish under my rule but I need some place to still punish sinners that are especially bad."
He then teleports, yes he can apparently do that now, something about 'Major landmarks needing to be quickly traversable', back to his desk in his tower to go to the next step. But then; "I have no more points." Yes, he has exactly 0, meaning he cannot continue to expand his empire. "What? Damn... guess I'll have to wait for another few years." he prepares to continue his first day after school but a notification interrupts him.
Not necessarily. Remember, the passive Point gain you currently have is not the primary way to gain P, it's quest and I have just got one for you! You haven't been doing gacha quests or anything interesting the past few YEARS! Now, here:
Quest:
Defeat Minos Prime (ULTRAKILL) or ?
You have 20 attempts.
Rewards: Minos Prime (Servant), P-1, 500 P, Prime Soul (Trait), Art of The Serpent (Skill), Flesh Prison (Servant).
"I need to kill Minos, as I am now?! He's like, so much stronger than everybody in MHA!" he slumps down into his chair. "Fuck, can I do this? Do I need these points that much?" he pinches the bridge of his nose, something he's been doing a lot lately. "But getting all of P-1 and Minos? Shit..." Ishi is sure that the rewards are worth it, especially if he gets 20 tries. He wasn't expecting the system to give him some leeway but he's sure not going to complain, he is fighting the former ruler of the ring of lust.
"System, can I leave the quest any time?" He asks, fishing for a way out if he knows he is outmatched.
You can, though the quest will vanish afterwards.
He sighs and opens his stat and skill menus. All in all, he isn't weak for his worlds standards but how does he compare to the King Minos? After all, Minos was a ruler who wanted the best for his people, the subjects of the Layer of Lust, and so he ushered in the Lust renascence. The layer became more modern and hospitable under the current judge of hell, Minos. He thought it was unfair to subject these people to eternal suffering. But the angels, who recently lost their father, saw differently. They sent their brightest warrior Gabriel to slay Minos, the council thought of his renascence as a strike against the will of their missing god.
But when Gabriel came to slay the judge, Minos did not fight. No, he tried to reason with Gabriel. This resulted in his death and the continued enslavement of his people. But the angels where not done with him. They knew of his strength and feared his retribution and knew of his strong will, so the angels imprisoned him, hoping he would not reform as a prime soul. And while Minos suffered, Gabriel became the new judge of hell. Now, the only remaining part of Minos is his corpse, infested by parasites and endlessly wandering the lust layer. It is a tale showing just how unfair the angel are, a tale of a man only wanting good for his subjects and being punished for it.
Well, until the player, or rather V-1, came and ended his tale. Or, in this case Ishi. "Such a man would be perfect for my realm, he could actually be a judge and he could improve hell. Of course, under my command." Ishi chuckles, he might seem evil, denying Minos his freedom but he thinks he's quite generous, freeing the prime soul and giving him a way to achieve his goal. "His strength is not to be denied as well, I'm sure he could've slain Gabriel." Ishi closes his eyes, opening himself to the possibility of fighting the former judge of hell.
'My abilities are good at a range and, if he's anything like in the game, that would counter him. But only if I'm fast enough to dodge him, he flies, dashes and jumps around in an instant after all.' Ishi currently has 71 DEX and 110 Stat Points to spend. "If it comes down to it, I can pump my DEX up. This may be a great risk but the rewards are just too great." Ishi looks up at the lingering quest message. "I may just be greedy but-"
"I accept."
The air rushes past Ishi so very quick that he'd think it's storming. That is until he opens his eyes, of course. "Wh-WOAH!" The Demon is falling, very quickly at that, through the gray shaft lined with yellow details. 'Think QUICK!' Ishi remembers Iron Man for some weird reason and uses his pyromancy to eject a stream of fire from his palms and soles. He can feel himself slowing down as he sees the floor approaching. Closer and closer and closer until,
thump
He lands on the ground softly. He dusts off the black sweater he still has on from this morning and deactivates his fire. "I start at the terminal then?" He looks forward, seeing the corridor leading to the door and to it's left, the terminal. He approaches it in confident steps and, when he got into arms reach, the termina lit up. But it only displayed his stats, no other potions, no 'weapons'. No 'cybergrind'. None of it. "Makes sense, the terminals adjusted to machines and not demons."
Yes, it's a wonder that he's even in here. With hell and the terminals being sentient, they shouldn't've allowed him access without being a machine to serve their entertainment. Though another thought then enters Ishi's mind. "I'm in hell, so can I summon my legions? And have my buffs?"
Indeed, this is a pocket dimension of hell but it is still Hell, so it is your domain. Just like a god of life would have dominion over any life in any dimension, you have authority over any hell. Still, this is not your hell, so there is a limit. One summon and half the buffs, I am already generous in allowing even that.
Ishi rolls his eyes and scuffs in annoyance. "Ach, fuck you."
I hope you die all 20 times.
"If you could, you'd be feeling incredible pain. I'm the ruler of Hell, give me some respect." the irony is dripping from his words. Would they not know each other for 11 years, this would seem confusing. After all, did the system not give him that power? But no, this is just how they interact. "Now, I'm off to fight Minos, hopefully not dying 54 times like I did the first time." He suppresses the memory of that specific session of Ultrakill swiftly. "So much screaming, so much pain."
With a 'swoosh', the door opens for Ishi and the fleshy cliff in midst of this void greet him. The only light is the torch resting on the pedestal. Ishi grads the torch, not to light his way but to use it as a key for the door below. He ignores the large boney spine that descends in a spiral, starting from the cliff and instead gulps down his fear and jumps into the void. 'Why'd I think this was a good idea?' A few more agonizingly scary seconds and he channels his Mana again. Like a blowtorch, the palms of his hands and soles of his feet light up with flame again, stopping his momentum.
He even gains a level in pyromancy! It's now level 90, meaning his control and MP efficiency are that of a master. He breathes in relief. Flying in the air like this, it's actually exiting. "I get why Iron Man does this." it almost feels freeing. "But that's not why I'm here." If he remembers correctly, he needs to descend a bit to the left.
"I cant see shit." Easy fix. He throws a fireball, throwing of his balance a bit as he raises his hand. But his idea bears fruit as it lights up the fleshy, teeth-filled door below him. "There we go." As he floats closer, the old-timey tunes that played in the original game start to be heard. "Will the entire OST for P-1 be playing? That'd definitely build atmosphere." Ishi chuckles to himself as the door-mouth thing opens and he floats through. "ORDER is a good song." he lands on the fleshy floor. 'Ugh, I can feel it pulsating.' indeed, with the knowledge that this hell is alive, the theory that the flesh below him is flowing with blood is not to be dismissed.
He walks forward, arriving at a pedestal standing in front of a large door. He knew, even if he tried with all his might, he could not scratch it. Good think he has the key. Ishi places the torch on the pedestal and immediately the music cuts off and the door slowly creeks open. "This is ominous but cool." It is indeed scarier when it's all real looking, the flesh below twitches again to assert that fact.
He walks forward until the space he's in becomes a pipe made of flesh. He stands on the very end of this tunnel, next to him the terminal, the very same from before. "This is it." Yes, if he where to walk a few steps forward and fall down, he'd start the fight. Though right now, only darkness greets him. "Let's get this over with." Ishi readies himself as he walks into the darkness. He falls a few meters before landing on pulsating flesh again.
He takes one step, then.
CLACK
The room lights up and 'Chaos' plays. Ishi can only gaze upon the giant rotating vertical flesh cube for but a second before a white circle lights up below him. 'Dodge, NOW!' Ishi boosts himself to the left with the help of his pyromancy.
BOOM
A giant beam of white blinding light strikes the meat where Ishi once stood. Ishi takes a breath and calms himself, then looks to the middle of the room. The eyes scattered over the body of the flesh prison stare at him in glee while the ripped open flesh, revealing a teeth filled mouth, on one of the corners of it opens and closes almost at random.
The Flesh Prison is awake.
Over. Sorry for this cliffhanger but I promise the next chapter will coem soon. Imma sleep now, it's pretty late.
