A rewritten story of my Genshin Impact Story, just so you know my perspective on that game, has greatly changed!

Currently my favorite character is none other than Furina! And I got her in-game, Level 90, and equipped with best artifacts and almost good weapon! She is one of the best characters in the game!

In the sky... A bright light, flashing...

"What's happening...?" A female voice spoke, a girl with white dress with gold and black accents, holding hands with a boy who had a brown vest outfit, with gold, and black accents, both with blonde hair, fair skin and fiery-gold eyes. In the sky they stand on, witnessing something terrible... Flames and destruction is all they see...

"We have to leave..." The boy stated, while holding her arm, he runs as she regains herself, following him.

Suddenly a massive dark red-orange glowing portal opens in front of them. They stopped, as someone emerged out of the portal, a woman with white hair and golden eyes, she wore brown, black and white. Her eyes sternly glared at the two. "Your journey ends here, Outlanders!" She bellowed.

"Who are you?" The girl questioned the one blocking their way.

The woman's palm glowed, summoning a glowing cube of energy. "The sustainer of heavenly principles. Thus the arrogation of mankind ends now." She spoke, while the platform underneath their feet glowed...

They jumped, narrowly avoiding the floor being swarmed by a huge cube of energy. Both summoned wings, and swords, fly straight at their foe. Unfazed expression staring at two annoyances, raising her hand, tendrils made by the red cubes appeared and rushed to them.

They swirl through the air, avoiding the tendrils from catching them, just as they rounded up. Both nodded to each other within a glance and took the opportunity... Immediately they charged and clashed! Erupting a massive explosion.

However, the woman summoned a forceshield, she gazed at the girl, brows shifted. Her sword is quickly engulfed by cubes, but the girl manages to notice and lets go, flying away... Only to notice the boy failed to avoid it, as he is covered in cubes.

Her eyes widened, in fear and panic, "AETHER!" She screams, reaching her hand. The boy named Aether looks up to her, his expression of worry is all that remains, before being consumed by cubes, which broke off and absorbed by the woman.

She is shocked. Watching how she took him away with ease. Eyes enraged, teeth gritted, she yells summoning her sword. Flying fast at her enemy, only to fly past her... And attack at the behind, unleashing her glowing sword. She swings fast, creating a flash of large light turning into an explosion.

Her rage goes into shock immediately, seeing her attack being absorbed. The woman is unimpressed, she tries to pull her sword, but she is stuck by her mystic force. Then, the woman unleashed the cubes, covering her, swarming all around.

Rage turns into panic, she watches the woman leave into a portal. Now panic turns into desperation. "Aether!" She shouted. "Please! Give me back my brother!" She begged and struggled, as cubes slowly covered her sight...

Eyes opened, "Aether!" She cries out, reaching her hand. Only to find out, there is no Aether, just the grass and the blue sky, along with trees. "...Where... Where am I?" She muttered, standing up due to her lying on the grass bed. "I have to find him... Aether!"

She jumps to fly, but falls onto the ground. What? Her mind blurted out, her powers were gone! She tries to fly again with no jump, nothing...

Then she jogs off, through the grasslands, looking around. Calling out his name, however... "Ɐԍϝμԍʁ! Ɐԍϝμԍʁ!" Her desperate words sounded unknown through the world's perspective. Time goes past, she continues to go through, later reaching towards a forest.

"Aether! Aether!" She continued to call out, eventually stopping her jog, panting her breath. "Aether..." She muttered. Stomach growled, she held her stomach area, she was hungry. She searches for something... Anything that's food.

An apple! On the tree! She heads there at a slow pace due to her fatigued state. Arriving near the tree, the apple is still tall to reach. Not giving up by a mere obstacle, she goes to the trunk and climbs up, reaching the right height... She grabbed the apple, and jumped off, landing on the grass.

She sighed, before taking a bite of the apple. The sound of crunch, and the sweetness of this fruit, it tastes good... Not enough, she already ate down to the core. But the bite is enough to rejuvenate herself, she looks for something else...

Hours passed, it seemed peaceful at least... She goes on, stumbles upon an abandoned camp! Looks empty by her perspective, looking around the tent, old and withered. Noticing the bag inside, she opens up, a dull metal sword, looks old but strong. Going out of the tent, she swiftly swings her sword, to practice her skills.

"Yargh!" A sudden yell made her turn to see a club swinging at her. A smack, knocking her back. She sees the attacker being a humanoid, with dark gray-colored skin with human-like hands and feet with three toes. It has feathery mane with two pointy ears peeking out of the top, and wearing some mask. It swings the club down, but she rolls sideways, making a stance aiming her sword with a glare.

"Mμԍʁԍ ᴉƨ Ɐԍϝμԍʁ!" She demanded, but the creature heard her unknown language. It cries out, charging, but not expecting a swift motion through its body. It disintegrated, cut through the waist, behind it is her holding the dull blade.

What are these creatures...? She wondered, witnessing it disappear for the first time in her sight. Her face hurt, she rubbed her cheek where it hit her. Her powers really are gone... The clouds darken, but she ignored them, as tears leaked out of her eyes.

"Aether..." She cried softly. And kneels, holding her knees, soft cries turn to loud sobs. She is alone, nowhere to go or what to do...

Time passed more, she couldn't remember nor count, but what's the point of it? She woke up, retaining her blank and quiet expression, holding a fishing rod, she needed to survive. Going to a nearby lake, she tossed a line of the rod which landed in the water. There, she waits for her catch of the day.

...A sink! She caught something! Pulling for it as it feels heavy. Not wanting to skip an empty meal, she yanks it hard on! Something flew out, a scream came from the bait. Just as she looked up, a small person came at her... Catch! She caught it with her arms. It is a girl, petite body, has white hair, dark purple eyes and light skin. She wears a long-sleeved white outfit and a night-blue cape, with other accessories, a notable rose-gold tiara that levitates above her head.

"Ugh... Paimon would never go near the water to get fish ever again..." The little girl mumbled in dizziness.

"Ƚooq?" She spoke as the little one looked at the woman.

"Huh?" She looks at her, "Um... Thanks for saving Paimon!" She floats out of her grasp. "And you are...?"

"ꓕμᴉƨ ɻooq cɑu ϝɑɼĸ?" She questioned, which the fairy nervously chuckled.

"Um, Paimon does not understand you..." She cautioned. "Can you explain Paimon clearly?"

Just then, a sword is pointing at her, "⅄on ɑʁԍ wλ wԍɑɼ!" She stated.

"AHHHHHHHH!" To which the fairy panicked and screamed for her life, flying away. "Please don't hurt Paimon!" As she is being chased by her. However, she was caught, strangled by her grip. "Please! I am not edible!" She pleaded.

"⅄on'ʁԍ uoϝ?" A response occurs, to which she lets go, surprising her.

"Eh? You understand Paimon?" She asked.

"Mhm..." She nodded. "Wλ uɑwԍ ᴉƨ Γnwᴉuԍ." She added. "⅄on ɑʁԍ...?"

Then she realized, "Ah... Paimon understands. You are speaking a different language! Well, Paimon can help! She is a good guide!" She stated. "Consider Paimon's exchange for saving Paimon from the lake."

"bɑᴉwou..." She replied as she sounds like she is speaking her thoughts, despite out loud.

"Paimon takes it as a yes!" Paimon nodded in gleam as she floated happily around her. "So tell me where you live and Paimon can help you!" She said, to which she nodded in response.

"Bnϝ ɻᴉʁƨϝ, ʍԍ uԍԍq ƨowԍ ɻooq." She mentioned. Paimon nodded, still not understanding her. However, when the two heard a sound, they turned to see a boar. Later, an animal squeal occurs...

The time of passage occurs, at the beach, Paimon and the girl are sitting on the rocks on the sand, "So... Lumine. You fell here... From another world?" Paimon asked. "But when you wanted to leave, and go on to the next world, your path was blocked by some unknown god?"

She nodded, "Yes." Speaking clearly from Paimon's ears, she has succeeded in being teached the language. "She also took my brother. And gave me some kind of seal, I couldn't access my powers. I felt so useless." She downcast.

"..." Paimon worriedly stares at her, "Paimon doesn't think you're useless." She assured her. "You rescued Paimon at the lake, remember?"

"...Right." Lumine smiled, before frowning, "I am sorry for mistaking you as food." She apologized.

"It's all forgiven by Paimon!" She beamed, then she hummed after Lumine's explanation, "As Teyvat's best guide, Paimon will help you find your brother!" She stated.

"Thank you." Lumine nodded. Turning to see the path, "...We should go." She advised Paimon who agreed and followed her.

"So, Paimon may teach you about the language, you should ask Paimon some questions if you're curious..." Paimon remarked.

"Hm..." Lumine hummed. "I was attacked by a creature, it is human-like..." She explained.

"A Hillichurl?" Paimon instantly responded. "They are dangerous to Visionless people around, since they mostly attack aggressively."

"Right. And I saw some giant jelly-like things moving..." Lumine added.

"Slimes." Paimon stated. "Also dangerous to Visionless people."

"Right, Slimes..." Lumine nodded. "So, Paimon, do you have the next step of finding my brother?" She asked.

"Well, if you meet a God, Paimon can find you one!" Paimon gleamed.

"There are Gods in this world?" Lumine perked up.

"Yep! There are only the Seven. And that's all Paimon knows." She explained. "Maybe they could know a thing or two about the God you faced."

"...Got it." She nodded again. "Where do we start first?" She asked.

"Well, we are in Mondstadt, where the Anemo Archon lives, Barbatos the God of Freedom." Paimon informed. "He could be our first, and hopefully he can help us!"

"Right, and you know where he is...?" Lumine wondered.

Paimon opens her mouth, but closes... "...Okay, maybe my guidance isn't entirely completed." She mumbled.

"Teyvat's. Best. Guide..." Lumine sarcastically remarked.

"Hey! I don't know it all! Just know most of them." Paimon huffed, crossing her arms. "We should go to the Statue of the Seven! Follow me!" Paimon floats forward, Lumine catches up, jogging through the terrain.

"What for?" Lumine asked while going.

"Paimon heard these statues can give blessings! Maybe that can help you." She explained. They go through the small forest, exiting out, they now reach the ledge. Here they witness the widened landscape, Lumine glanced during the walk while Paimon admires the view, "Wow...! You can see the city of Mondstadt!" She pointed out the city from afar.

"I thought Mondstadt is the name of the region..." Lumine pointed out.

"Yeah, but also the name of the city!" Paimon stated. "Speaking of, there is the Statue!" She pointed out. Seeing the Statue of the figure wearing a cloak and hood, he has feathered wings on the back and both of his hands are holding the orb. It is surrounded by a circle of water. Lumine goes there, passing by the grass and reaching the water as she swims, Paimon follows from above. "Like poetry and language flow like the wind, there'll definitely be someone there who should know your brother." She remarked.

"Mm." Lumine responded, a bit irritated by the wet drenching her clothes. Reaching the Statue, she placed her hand on the glowing area. Closing her eyes, as all blessings go, the statue glows brighter. Paimon gasped to see this, to which she opened her eyes. The wind gently breezes, then another glowing turquoise energy comes out of the statue. It then enters inside Lumine, her clothes brighten, noticing some traits are turquoise colored.

"Woah..." Paimon wowed, "Did you get the power of Anemo, without a Vision?" She exclaimed. "Paimon did not expect that actually."

"Visions..." Lumine muttered, Paimon explained that before, it's essentially the blessing of the Gods... Then she looks at her palm, emitting a ball of wind energy surging. Then she unleashed a wind blast at the direction of the water, which created a huge gust and splash. "...Cool." She mumbled out.

"Wow!" Paimon wowed seeing her newfound power, "Paimon is actually jealous of this new power..." She commented. Just then a loud cry occurs, as the two turn to see a group of Hillichurls coming. "Wah! More Hillichurls!" She panicked.

"Stay behind me." Lumine glared at her foes. Just then, she runs and jumps over the body of water, with her newly found powers. Landed with a shockwave slam, knocking the front row. She then sees more coming, one by one, they attack. She blocks the club strike, with her new strength, she sliced the club through, then slashing back, killing one.

Then she charges her wind attack, then a single blast knocks them all. They all disintegrated once more, she smiled at the sight of this. Just then, a massive shadow lingers over her, she looks up to see a massive winged beast flying above her, and heads to the forest.

She is surprised... Paimon came who also noticed, "Lumine, did you see that?! It's heading to the heart of the forest!" She pointed in the direction.

"We should follow it." Lumine stated as she ran off.

"What?!" Paimon exclaimed but Lumine chases the being, "Ah, wait for Paimon!" She follows her.

At the forest, Lumine is sneaking through the bushes and trees, Paimon follows quietly, nervous. Just as they go closer, they see the beast up close... Massive, three pairs of wings and two pairs of legs, blue scaled with variations of tone. But what's noticeable is that someone is close to that beast...

A boy... Fair skin, aqua-green eyes, and short black hair with short twin braids at the sides of his face that fade into aqua at the tips. He wears a corset and a small cape, he looks like a bard... "It's okay... I'm here." He comforted the being.

"As that guy, talking to a Dragon!?" Paimon quietly exclaimed. Lumine is curious, but suddenly she is glowing, much to her surprise.

The Dragon senses it, and looks at the direction where they are hiding. As it roars loudly, before it swings its claws which the bard boy jumps back shocked to see it go berserk. He looked at the direction where the Dragon stared, "Who's there!?" He yelled.

Then it suddenly roars, bellowing the trees. "Run for it!" Paimon screamed, as they ran back. The Dragon luckily flies above the trees and leaves. Lumine watches it go, then turns to see that the Bard is missing...

"He's gone..." Lumine muttered, and she turned to Paimon. "I assume Dragons aren't a common thing here."

"Yeah?!" Paimon worried. "And not just talking to it! For a moment, Paimon was sure we would get eaten..." Then she noticed a red glowing object on the ground, where the dragon stood. "Wait, what is that?" She pointed out the object. They go to the rock above. Seeing it is some kind of red glowing stone, shaped like some kind of droplet Lumine holds the object, staring at it. "Um, you're gonna take it?" Paimon asked.

"Yeah, who knows, it might be useful..." Lumine shrugged.

A moment past, a projectile is coming, narrowingly hitting Lumine who just dodged back. Just then a blur past her, the red crystal is gone from her grasp.

"Ouch!" A yelp came from the other side, Lumine and Paimon noticed the crystal was dropped on the ground, then behind it was a person. "I thought it was harmless!" A woman, light purple hair, purple eyes, and fair skin. Wearing a purple and silver jacket-like attire with tints of blue. Then there is something hanging on the center collar necklace.

Paimon noticed it, "Lumine!" She whispered. "She has a Vision, an Electro!"

Lumine summoned her sword, "Who are you?" She demanded.

The woman noticed and nervously stuttered, "Well... I just saw you with Anemo Vision, but now I realized you don't... Have one?" She perked by seeing this.

"Why are you taking the crystal?" Lumine seriously questioned her.

"I, uh... It's classified!" She replied with a grin.

"Hmph, I'll make you declassify it." Lumine grunted as she charged with her sword. The woman dodged back, then something behind her on top a catalyst was summoned. She pointed her fingers like finger guns, and then fired streams of Electro energy.

Lumine noticed, and stepped side and side, avoiding the attacks. She continues forward, jumping and aiming her sword, but she flips back, and all of a sudden... Two more copies of her emitted out of the original, this surprised her.

"Sorry!" She shouted as her two clones zapped her from the side as she grunted in pain. However, Lumine managed to resist the attacks, releasing an Anemo burst. The wind instantly disperse the clones, leaving traces of Electro once disappeared. "Seriously!?" She exclaimed, seeing Lumine charged at her with cold blood gaze, avoiding the slashes, not expecting a kick at her waist sending her back.

Lumine goes forward while she jumps back, then she strikes her sword. The woman dodges around, grabbing her arm, she then uses Lumine and spins around, throwing her away before unleashing a Electro blast with her hands together as a finger gun. Knocked by the blast, Lumine groaned as her body was constantly electrifying.

"Gah! Leave her alone!" Paimon came in at the woman's head, gripped and bashing, swinging her small arms and fists onto her.

"Hey! Not cool!" She exclaimed, as she was being attacked by a little fairy. Lumine saw this, and took the chance, then rammed right at her. She tries to get up until a blade goes near her neck held by Lumine. "Uh... Okay, you got me, you seem to be a fighter!" She nervously smiled.

"Quiet." Lumine seethed. "...Where are you from?" She demanded.

"Oh! Are you talking about where I am from or where I live?" She wondered, but Lumine lifted her up, as the two are similar heights while her sword is still being held at neck point by Lumine.

"Take me to your camp." Lumine ordered her, as she turned her around, now aiming a sword at the back.

"Alright..." She complied, as she walked while Lumine followed closely.

"Paimon, the crystal." Lumine reminded Paimon.

To which Paimon realized, "Oh! Right!" She floats down and grabs the teardrop crystal. She follows the two, walking through the forest path. "So, why did you try to steal the crystal, and why did it hurt you?" Paimon asked.

"Questioning me on sword point..." She sweatdropped by Paimon's question, then the tip of the sword poke her, "Gah! Um... I can explain! I just saw you two wandering here, then there was the statue thing, everything else... Ah!" She yelped by another poke.

"You were spying on us?" Lumine questioned.

"Yes!" She blurted. "As for the crystal, you were holding it. I thought it was safe to snatch it..." She replied as they continued walking. Then finally, she confirmed the destination of a small but slightly disguised camp deep in the forest, "Well, anyways, welcome to my place... Can you let me go? I promise I won't harm you again." She fretted.

"Not a chance." Lumine replied.

"Trust me, it is for your own good, they would not like it when they see me like this." She was worried, Lumine noticed her nervousness.

"They...?" Paimon perked up by these mentions.

Immediately, a large ice emerged out behind Lumine, which knocked her away. She recovers quickly, turning to swing her sword... Only metal clashed, sword meets spear, a quick push caused her to sway off balance, to her sight witness the blunt end of spear heading straight at her...

She falls onto the ground, hearing muffled screams of Paimon yelling her name before being grabbed by someone... Her eyes give away, closing down, seeing only darkness.

[Trivia]

'Genshin Impact: Journey Of Fragments' was used to be planned as an OC insert, but it is rewritten to be focused for Lumine and OC. Now it is rewritten once again, focused on a more accurate game adaptation.

This rewrite is inspired by Genshin Impact's lore and the story itself, and along the combined with God Of War: Ragnarok's narrative. Then there is new elements will be inserted along alterations to make it original but faithful to the game itself.

A spin-off series will occur known as 'Genshin Impact: World Of Fragments' is being planned, focusing only the World Quests and Events.

What are your thoughts on this chapter? Much better than the last story? Well expected the story to come with faster updates due to be pre-written chapters leftover from the latter story. Expected to have it planned, the Mondstadt Chapter will have 12 chapters focusing on both Archon Quests, Story Quests, and Hangout Quests.
