Prompt #91: I Can See You (Taylor's Version) by Taylor Swift
Make Me Want You More
~oOo~
Olivia spotted Elliot the second she stepped off the elevator and turned to the left. He was in one of his fancy suits, leaning against a wall further down the hall. She tried to gather the armor of her captaincy to avoid reacting to how intently he watched her. Be professional. Be. Professional. "Elliot."
"Liv." He smiled knowingly as if he knew what she was currently struggling with. His gaze dropped down to the compass. "Beautiful necklace."
Olivia ignored his words, narrowly avoiding reaching up to touch the compass. Something that had become a habit since she'd started wearing it. "What room is the task force in?"
"He must really care about you, whoever bought you the necklace." Elliot pushed off the wall and fell in step beside her. His arm bumped purposefully against hers, and his fingers grazed the back of her hand a second later. "It looks good on you."
"El."
"It does. Everything looks good on you." He spoke quietly, but it felt as if his voice had dropped an entire octave. It reverberated through her body. "Do you have a minute?"
"Elliot." Olivia didn't argue when his fingers slipped around her wrist, allowing him to lead her into the privacy of a small, empty office. She'd tried not to be alone with him for the past week because the temptation to touch him was too damn strong. "What—"
Elliot surged forward. His hands gripped her shoulders before gliding up to finally frame her face. His eyes searched her for a moment. "I'd really like to kiss you."
There were a dozen things Olivia should've probably said. Anyone could walk in on them. She didn't say anything; instead, she caught the front of his suit and leaned in to close the distance between their lips.
"I've been trying so hard not to cross this line for so long." Olivia breathed into him. She shivered at the touch of his fingers sliding into her hair, tightening a little. "I'm tired of wanting without tasting."
"Then let's have the whole damn feast, Liv."
The kiss seemed to go on forever. Olivia knew they couldn't stay here forever. She finally pulled away with no small amount of regret.
She reached up to carefully wipe the lipstick off his face with her thumb. "Meet me tonight? When we're finished?"
Elliot slowly extracted himself from her. He gently straightened her hair for her. "Tonight. Tomorrow night. Any fucking night you want me."
"This wasn't enough?" Olivia went to work fixing her make-up while he watched.
"Never enough, Liv. It just makes me want you even more."
