The Lily & Dragonlily
As the morning light started to shine in a flowery bedroom & into a massive bed, Elise's eyes started to flutter as she soon started to awaken from her comfortable slumber. With a simple stretch, the little lady moved out of her bed to reveal herself in a cute black night dress as she slipped into a pair of comfy black slippers as she carefully stepped downstairs…
Within the luxurious kitchen, Elise made herself a cup of tea & simple yet delicious breakfast as she sat near a window to look at the morning sky and her beloved garden has she smiled happily, however, her ears perked up to the sound of tiny footsteps as a little girl with long blond hair similar to Elise's but she wore a grey nightdress and cute blue slippers as she held a stuffed animal in her arms as she rubbed her eyes as she yawned…
"Good morning Kana, How did you sleep sweetie?" Elise asked sweetly to the little one.
"Good morning Mama, I slept good just…ahhh…just a bit sleepy…" Kana yawned as she grabbed some juice & food before sitting beside her Mama.
"I gotcha, so Papa is still out on his trip so it's just you & me today. So, I'm all yours!" Elise said happily.
"Really!?" Kana shouted as her face lit up.
"Yep! So where do you want to go to because I want to pick up a few things." Elise asked kindly.
"The Mall!" Kana said quickly.
"Perfect! But make sure you eat your breakfast & freshen up before heading out." Elise pointed out as she drank her tea.
"Oh Right!" Kana said quickly as she went back to eating causing Elise to giggle slightly.
After finishing their meals & getting ready: Elise was at the front door wearing an elegant black dress with a necklace & pink cardigan, with white stockings & Mary Jane heels. Kana wore an aquatic dress with a blue scarf bandana around her neck along with ocean-colored Mary Janes as they clicked from her rushing down the stairs & with a smile they walked out of their home & into the car…
After a short drive, the duo arrived at the mall as the sun shined through the skylight, as shops surrounded the two floors, a variety upon variety of shops were placed about. The Mother & Daughter pair walked with the crowds until they happened upon a flower shop. The little lady was in awe of the beautiful flowers along with how many there were, however, Elise knew which ones she wanted to pick up as she picked up a nice bouquet with ease before making payment thanks to the cashier Anna.
"How did you know which one you wanted?" Kana asked innocently.
"You just need to have the right eye for it. I can teach you someday." Elise said playfully with a wink, as Kana looked at her with starry eyes. "So where do you want to go next?"
"Well, Uhhh…Oh!" Kana said as she was unsure until a store stood out from the rest as the tiny lady rushed towards it with her Mama following close behind. "Wow…" Kana said in amazement as she saw the different toys in the shop's window.
"Well…What are you waiting for?" Elise asked jokingly as she stood at the entrance with Kana nodding happily as she walked in & saw the many toys in the room.
The store was filled to the brim with dolls, figures, and tiny figurines of all kinds, Not only that there were even games of different varieties such as board games, card games, even video games. Kana looked at everything until she happened upon a game with a round pink character. Taking it off the shelf, she gave it a quick glance until- "This! This is what I want!" Kana said quickly.
"Really? Why this one?" Elise asked as she looked at the game to see if it was okay to buy.
"Well…It spoke to me!" Kana said with a slight blush yet a determined face.
"Hehe!...This Please." Elise let out a laugh before she placed the game on the counter.
"Sure!...Hope you all enjoy, especially you." Anna said happily before giving the bought game to the cute lass.
"Yes! Thank You!" Kana shouted brightly as she held her Mama's hand, the latter waving to the store clerk as they walked out. "Thanks, Mama!"
"No Prob, now let's head to the market & grab us a bite to eat!" Elise said happily as the two walked toward the major shopping center.
Despite how packed the grocery store was, the pair was able to move around with little to no hassle, especially as they were able to gather everything they needed on the list, even some snacks Kana tried to sneak into the cart with Elise slipping out a few…just a few of course. Soon enough, they reach the cashier Anna & with the final purchases they started their trip home…
"Hey Mama, is it funny that happens to be everywhere?" Kana said innocently.
"Yeah…("I'll tell her that they are all siblings when she's older. Can't ruin the fun.") Elise said jokingly as they approached the car.
It wasn't a long drive till the pair reached their home & soon after grabbing some lunch, Elise set up the console & It wasn't long until the Mother & Daughter pair played to their hearts' content on the game. There were laughs, joy, & even a time of freight when the cute pink puffball went up against some sort of abomination of God. They laughed it off, but they were definitely terrified of what just happened.
Luckily a delicious dinner and movie took their minds off of it, for soon enough it was bedtime as Kana was dressed into her night clothes once again & was tucked into her comfy bed…
"So did you have a great day sweetie?" Elise asked sweetly.
"Yep!...Hey Mama, do you think we spend more time together?" Kana asked shyly.
"I don't see why not. Why?" Elise asked with a curious look.
"Well…I hear people fly away when they get older…I don't want to leave you or Papa." Kana said sadly.
"Oh, well I don't know what will happen tomorrow let alone in the future. But I know this, we'll always be there for you. Good Moms always know what's best & We always look out for babies especially when they are tall & beautiful…so no matter how much bigger you get, you'll always be my little dragonlily." Elise said soothingly as she gave her daughter a kiss.
"Thanks Mama…" Kana said with a bright smile.
"Now time to rest…Good Night Kana, Love You." Elise said warmly as she reached the door after putting on a quiet movie.
"Good Night Mama. Love You." Kana said with a warm smile.
As the night faded, Elise soon arrived in her bedroom & after a quick change she entered her bed, before putting on a movie herself as she glanced over to a picture of the day Kana was born as she smiled warmly as the little lady drifted off to sleep…unbeknownst to her, Kana snuck into the room & cuddled beside her. Hugging her Mama tightly, she fell asleep in her Mother's arms as she instinctively hugged her close as their special day together ended…
