Episode 1: Big Trouble in Musutafu, Japan

The morning sets on a calm, quiet Musutafu, Japan. Birds chirp as the sun slowly rises over the horizon. The citizens start to wake from their slumber and prepare themselves for the day ahead of them. Men put on their fancy suits while their wives cook them and their children breakfast. As everyone else gets ready for the day, Izuku quietly snores. The sun reaches his bedroom as he can feel its cool warmth touch his cheeks. He barely opens one eye to see the sun's light shine right in front of him. He quickly closes his one eye and rolls over, not wanting to leave the comfort of his mattress. He pulls the covers over his head and goes right back to sleep. Inko knocks on Izuku's bedroom door.

Inko: Izuku it's time to get up. You'll be late to go to school.

Izuku: Come on Mom. Give me 5 minutes.

Inko: Izuku, you get up this instant!

Izuku: Alright mom.

Izuku gets up from his bed and he changes into his U.A. uniform.

He grabs his backpack as he leaves his room. Just as he is about to leave, he grabs a slice of toast, spreads some jelly on it and kisses his mother goodbye. Izuku crosses the street while devouring the slice of toast in his hand. Izuku runs from his house all the way to U.A. High School.

Izuku stops and takes a deep breath.

Izuku: Oh man I made it just in time.

Uraraka: Hey Deku.

Izuku turns around and sees Uraraka and Iida coming towards him.

Izuku: Oh hey you guys

Iida: It seems you took my advice on arriving early.

Izuku: Sure did Iida.

Uraraka: I wonder what hero stuff we will be doing today. I'm so excited!

She gets close to Deku.

Izuku (blushes): So close!

Iida watches the two as he lightly chuckles.

Izuku: We should probably head inside.

He says while still blushing.

The three young heroes head inside and enter their class. Most of all the students are already there. Chatting with one another.

Izuku: Morning guys.

Students: Hey Deku.

Katsuki: Morning nerd.

Izuku chuckles nervously.

The bell starts ringing and everyone goes to sit at their respective desks. Mr. Aizawa comes in.

Mr. Aizawa: Morning class. He says with the same disinterested tone as always.

Students: Good Morning Mr. Aizawa!

Mr. Aizawa: Do you guys really have to be that loud?

Students: Sorry sir.

Mr. Aizawa rolls his eyes and begins his instructions for the day.

Mr. Aizawa: Anyways, for today you will be learning how to deal with natural disasters.

The class falls suddenly silent as they start listening carefully to Aizawa's words.

Mr. Aizawa: The first thing you need to know about how to become a hero is to learn how to save people while these disasters are going on. First, you must control whatever power you have as in the case of you becoming unstable in the situation could lead to serious consequences. Always remain calm. Next you must make sure to see if the citizens are injured in any way and if they are, place them in a safe environment away from the danger.

While Mr. Aizawa speaks, the classroom starts to barely shake. The ground beneath them moves for a few seconds. The students look around as they question what is causing the room to shake. Suddenly the ground quits shaking and remains still once again. The class looks around after the room goes back to normal.

Mineta: What was that?

Kaminari: An earthquake?

Mr. Aizawa: No. Just a small tremor. The fifth one this week actually.

Izuku: What do you mean Mr. Aizawa?

Mr. Aizawa: This is the fifth time a tremor has hit. It's been like this for almost the entire week. But I wouldn't worry about it. They're only tremors.

The bell then rings as the students grab their backpacks and head out the door. Izuku walks out with Uraraka and Ida following right behind him.

Uraraka: That's odd, I didn't know there were five tremors this week. I hope nothing bad happens.

Iida: It's probably nothing. Mr. Aizawa said it himself, there's no need to worry.

But Izuku isn't so sure. While his two friends talk, Izuku places himself deep in thought.

Izuku: Why are there tremors suddenly appearing? And Mr. Aizawa said that five of them have happened just in one week. How's that even possible? Could there be someone with a Quirk that can create tremors?

While he thinks to himself, Izuku accidentally runs into something.

Izuku: Hey what's this?

Uraraka: Hey what did you find Deku?

Izuku: I'm not sure.

Izuku holds up a small pink crystal he saw coming out of the ground. He closely examines the object as he questions why an item such as this is growing out of the ground.

Izuku: You guys go ahead. I gotta take this crystal to the nurse. Maybe she can identify it.

Iida: Alright just don't come too late to class.

Izuku: Right. Catch you guys later.

Izuku makes his way to the nurse while keeping the crystal enclosed in his hand. He finally arrives at the nurse's dorm and enters.

Izuku: Excuse me? Anybody here?

Shuzenji: Yes, yes who's there?

Izuku turns and sees nurse Shuzenji filing papers. She turns and goes back to her desk. She looks at him and motions him to sit down. Izuku walks over and takes a seat at her desk.

Izuku: Sorry to bother you, nurse Shuzenji.

Shuzenji: Oh it's fine. Besides, filing papers isn't my favorite activity. But what can I help you with?

Izuku: On my way to class, I found this small crystal coming out of the ground.

Izuku holds it out to her to see the small crystal. She takes it and examines it with her magnifying glass as a way to get a better view of its details.

Shuzenji: Hmmmmm. Interesting.

She then bangs it against her desk to see if it breaks. Nothing. She grabs a small, powerful drill and uses it on the crystal. Surprising, the crystal still remains intact.

Shuzenji: Fascinating. Even with a drill, I still can't make a dent in it. And you said that you found it growing out of the ground?

Izuku: Yes.

Shuzenji: Well from the way it looks and how sturdy it is, I've never seen anything like it. Especially one of this color.

She hands Izuku back the crystal. He places it in his pocket.

Izuku: What should I do with it?

Shuzenji: I'd say keep it. Makes a good souvenir.

She smiles and escorts Izuku out of her room.

Izuku takes out the crystal one last time and becomes entranced with its color. He then remembers his next class and quickly runs over there.

Hours go by and school finally ends. Izuku, Uraraka and Ida leave together while other students stay and chat with their friends or head home.

Uraraka: What a day. I can't believe we had a test today and I didn't even hear about it.

Iida: Cheer up Uraraka. It's not like the test was that difficult.

Izuku: Well I feel like I failed.

Iida slaps Izuku in the back, knocking him to the ground.

Iida: Cheer up Midoriya, you did fine.

Izuku gets back up while still rubbing his back. Iida sees this and chuckles.

Iida: Sorry about that. Sometimes I don't know my own strength.

Izuku: It's fine just don't do that again.

Uraraka: Oh Deku, what did the nurse say about your crystal?

Izuku: Well she said that it's extremely strong. She banged it against her desk three times and even used a drill on it but there still wasn't a scratch on it. She made it sound like it's a rare item.

Iida: It is pink and I don't see that many crystals of that color or many crystals at all.

Uraraka: I just find it weird how you found that thing growing out of the ground. In our school for that matter.

Izuku: Yeah, it's not every day you find a crystal just randomly on the ground at your high school.

Ida: Well I must leave you two. I have to get home before my mother yells at me for being late for dinner again.

Izuku and Uraraka: Bye Iida!

Iida: See you soon!

Iida runs off as Izuku and Uraraka walk together silently. Izuku looks around while Uraraka does the same. Izuku looks over to her and finally speaks.

Izuku: It is pretty nice outside right now.

They both look up at the sky and see the stars shining brightly over the city.

Uraraka: Yeah, I guess it is.

Izuku: You know I used to look up at the stars a lot when I was little and I always imagined myself jumping up so high that I could just grab one.

Uraraka: I actually always wanted to grab the moon and tie a rope to it so I could walk it around the city.

Izuku turns to her.

Uraraka: I know. It sounds stupid.

She says while chuckling.

Izuku: No not all. It sounds a lot better than me wanting to just grab a star. I mean I didn't even know what I would do with a star in hand. At least you had your fantasy planned out.

Uraraka looks over to him and smiles. Izuku sees this and smiles back. They then arrive at the street where they must depart. Izuku and Uraraka both look at the path they must follow.

Izuku: Well my house is this way.

Uraraka: Yeah mines that way.

They both lightly chuckle. They slowly start to back up.

Izuku: See you next week right?

Uraraka: Absolutely.

Izuku: Yeah, bye Uraraka.

Uraraka: Bye Deku

The two part ways. Uraraka follows the path to her home while Izuku follows his. As they get further apart, Izuku smacks himself in the head.

Izuku: Yeah good job Izuku. Just act awkward around her. That won't make her feel uncomfortable! Ugh, why do I gotta be such a nerd sometimes?

After quite some time, Izuku finally arrives at his home. He enters the door and finds his mom asleep on the couch with the tv still on. Izuku walks over and kisses her on the cheek. He then places a blanket over her and shuts off the television.

Izuku: Night mom.

He walks into his room and closes the door as he changes into his pajamas which are nothing but a t-shirt and a pair of sweats. Izuku goes to the bathroom and brushes his teeth. Afterwards, he goes back to his room and sits on his bed, taking in the complete silence that encompasses it. Izuku then yawns and lays on his bed, falling asleep.

Later in the night, the city continues to spring with life as cars go by and citizens talk with one another. Suddenly another tremor occurs but this time, more powerful and violent than the ones before. The citizens are curious as to what's going on.

Citizen: What's going on?

Citizen: Is it an earthquake?

Suddenly the tremor stops and the citizens are left confused as to what just happened. The tremor then occurs again but now is a full fledged earthquake. Citizens panic as they run for their lives. Car alarms go off and buildings start to rubble. Glass shatters and falls into the street. Police come in and try to contain the pandamonium. The earthquake becomes even more violent as the street starts to crack and become disfigured. Citizens erupt in screams of true terror.

Izuku wakes up from the earthquake and sees his room shaking. Izuku tries to get up but keeps falling as the earthquake is so strong that he can barely stand on his two feet.

Izuku gasps: I gotta check to see if Mom is ok.

Izuku gets back up and swings his door open. He then yells out to his mother.

Izuku: Mom! Mom Are You Ok!?

Inko: Izuku!

Izuku quickly runs out of his room and finds his mom underneath the table. He crawls to the table and joins her. Izuku then gasps as he thinks about the other people in the city.

Izuku: My friends, the citizens. I can't sit here and let people die while I'm underneath this table.

Izuku looks over to his mom and grabs her hands as a way to comfort her.

Izuku: Mom I gotta go. I can't sit here and let people get hurt. Just stay here underneath the table until the earthquake stops, please!

Inko: No Izuku, I can't just let you leave! You'll get...

Izuku: Mom I'll be fine. If I'm gonna be a hero, I gotta help the citizens. Please Mom.

Inko looks into her son's eyes and realizes that he has a mission. She then nods her head and allows him to go out and save the citizens. Izuku gets out from underneath the table and heads up to his room to change into his Hero outfit.

Izuku changes quickly and jumps out of his window and lands on a roof. He then quickly runs while still trying to put his outfit on.

Izuku: I have to save those people or else they'll die.

Meanwhile, the citizens continue to get evacuated as the street then begins to crumble as massive pieces of land go launching into the air and multiple cars fall into a deep hole in the center of the street. Citizens run even faster as the ground beneath falls into a deep abyss. Just when the ground seems that it will keep sinking, the chaos finally stops. The citizens stop their screaming and begin to calm down. Law enforcement places police tape around the citizens as a way to keep them from the massive hole in the ground. Police push people back while others go to explore the hole. Officers shine their flashlights into the hole as they see nothing but destroyed land and a few cars disabled.

Police officer: Hello! Anyone down there!?

An officer moves his flashlight around and quickly spots something. He squints to get a better look at it as he sees an object of the color pink.

Suddenly the ground shakes again and a massive clawed hand bursts out of the ground and slams down on the officers. Another hand comes out and slams down on a few vehicles. Citizens scream and start to run away. The arms struggle as they try to lift up the body that they are attached to. A few moments later, a massive yellow eye appears and is followed by the head of a creature. An entire body of crystals crashes through the street. The creature lifts itself out from the hole and rises to its full height. It looks around at the surrounding area and sees millions of citizens running in fear. The creature's tail whips back and forth like that of a cat. It then lets out a terrifying roar that shatters the windows of many buildings. Citizens speed up and go into a full panic. The creature crouches down on all fours and begins to walk around the city. Choppers fly from above as newscasters describe the scene in absolute terror and shock. The creature roars again and crashes through a building. Debris begins to fall all round the citizens. Just as some are about to get crushed, they are grabbed and moved out of the way. One of the citizens opens their eyes and sees a hero, the number one hero in fact, All Might!

All Might: Do not fear citizens! I am here!

The citizens start to cry tears of joy. The citizens start cheering for him.

All Might put his thumb up and smiles at the citizens. But the celebration is cut short as the creature, known as Krystalak, roars at All Might. All Might turns around and faces the kaiju. He then urges for the citizens to run while he distracts Krystalak.

All Might: So you think that you can come into my city and threaten my people do you!? Well we'll see about that!

Krystalak roars again but All Might just keeps smiling and cracks his knuckles.

All Might: Bring it!

The kaiju snarls and runs at All Might. It lunges at him but All Might jumps out of the way and Krystalak slams into the ground. He gets back only for All Might to slam into his head. Krystalak crashes into the street and sends dust flying everywhere. Krystalak grows irritated and spits out some pieces of the street in his mouth. All Might shows up right next to his face and punches him right in the eye. Krystalak roars in pain and gets back up. With his one eye covered, All Might is given the chance to leap into the air and slam into the kaiju's stomach. Krystalak staggers back and brushes up against another building. Krystalak then breaks off a piece of the building and throws it at All Might. The piece of the building does nothing to All Might as he just punches right through it.

All Might: You're gonna have to try better than that !

Krystalak grows surprised and is then punched in the same eye as before by All Might. The kaiju roars in pain and starts to run away. All Might follows him.

Izuku arrives at the scene but sees nothing but citizens running in fear. Izuku becomes surprised and looks up. His face grows with shock as he sees the kaiju crash through many streets while All Might is right on its tracks.

Izuku: All Might. I gotta help him.

Izuku continues running towards where All Might and Krystalak are.

Izuku: Where did that giant monster come from?

As Izuku runs towards the fight, Krystalak hides behind a building. The kaiju looks around as it tries to catch its breath. He then smiles maniacally and climbs on top of the building. All Might arrives at the same building but fails to see Krystalak. All Might looks around.

All Might: Where did that thing go?

All Might then hears heavy breathing and sees a giant fist come at him. Before he has a chance to react, All Might is punched by Krystalak and sent right into the ground. Debris and dust blow around as All Might gets right back up. Just as he gets back on his feet, he sees a massive shadow appear in front of him. All Might looks up and sees Krystalak fall right on top of him. A massive shockwave occurs as impact makes it seem as if the entire earth shook. All Might gets back up but begins to bleed from his mouth.

All Might: No, it can't be. How can I already be bleeding?

Krystalak then grabs All Might and throws him across the city. All Might bounces off the ground as he's sent into multiple buildings. Krystalak roars in victory and goes back on all fours. Just as he turns to cause more destruction, he stops as he feels a car hit his leg. He looks down and sees a human in a green suit. Krystalak fully turns around as he sees Izuku standing there. Izuku, enraged and fully in his outfit, stares down Krystalak.

Izuku: Hey ugly! Why don't you focus on me instead!

Krystalak roars and stares down at Izuku.

Izuku gets into his fighting stance and prepares for battle.
