The topic for this chapter is dating. This is the first arc, well since the chapter from now on will have Roman numerals and be separated. It is easier like this since ideas come and go. The fan art of this chapter is below.

Miura Yumiko's fans this is your chapter, also.
I found myself in a dressing room at a lingerie shop. Some of the girls in the group, particularly those more well-endowed, required new undergarments as the wires in theirs had broken. I was adorned in lilac lingerie, complete with thigh-high stockings and a garter belt, adorned with charming ribbons. Tsuruga-san had suggested I invest in this particular set. I'm not sure what she means after all this type of outfit is used for sexual intercourse. I find that kind of stuff can't be planned out. Sure you can wear it under the clothes but getting into the mood is different. If I'm having issues just trying to go on a date with Hikigaya-kun what can I expect if sex is involved?
Yukino, are you planning the date? If you're wondering, the answer is yes. Yes, I am planning the date. Why does it matter? Well, because I'm Japanese. I'm sure I don't need to explain what a date is, but it's an agreement between two parties to spend time together and develop a relationship.
Now, let's delve deeper into the dating scene. To begin with, dating customs and protocols can indeed vary significantly between Western cultures and Japan. Here are some general differences in dating norms, as well as potential red flags to be aware of in each context:
In Western cultures, dating often begins with casual interactions and may involve meeting through friends, online dating platforms, or social events. Open communication is typically valued, and individuals are encouraged to express their feelings and intentions openly. It's common for couples to split the bill on dates, especially in more casual settings. However, some still adhere to traditional gender roles where the man pays for the date. Public displays of affection, such as holding hands or kissing, are generally accepted in Western dating culture.
Red Flags do occur. For example, the lack of communication. If your date is evasive or avoids discussing important topics, it may be a red flag for potential issues in the relationship. Disrespectful behavior is another warning sign. Any behavior that shows a lack of respect for boundaries or personal autonomy should be a cause for concern. Additionally, pressure for physical intimacy can be problematic. If your date pressures you for physical intimacy or makes you feel uncomfortable, it's important to set boundaries and communicate your concerns.
Dating in Japan is different but also evolving. We have protocols too. First, there's group dating. In Japan, group dates, known as "gōkon," are common, especially among younger generations. These group outings provide a more relaxed and social atmosphere for meeting potential partners. However, being a romantic couple with Hikigaya-kun alters the social protocols. We don't enjoy being in crowds, so group dating is out of the question.
Respect for privacy is important in Japanese dating culture, with a strong emphasis on discretion. Couples may choose to keep their relationship private, especially in the early stages. I will discuss this in more detail in later chapters.
Traditional gender roles also play a significant role. While attitudes are evolving, traditional gender roles remain prevalent in Japanese dating culture. Men are often expected to take the lead in initiating and planning dates. However, this poses a problem. If I were to leave it to him, he would simply let Komachi plan the date until he gains experience. I would prefer that we gain that experience together rather than him seeking advice from another woman.
We also have our own Red Flags. The lack of initiative is one. In Japanese dating culture, it's often expected for men to take the initiative in planning and organizing dates. A lack of effort or initiative from your date may be a red flag. Overbearing behavior is another concern. Japanese society values harmony and politeness, so any behavior that comes across as overly aggressive or domineering should be viewed with caution.
Furthermore, an unwillingness to compromise is worrisome. A lack of flexibility or unwillingness to compromise on plans or preferences may indicate potential issues in the relationship.
Overall, while there are differences in dating customs and protocols between Western cultures and Japan, the key to a successful relationship in any context is mutual respect, communication, and understanding of each other's boundaries and expectations. Being aware of potential red flags and trusting your instincts can help navigate the complexities of dating in any culture.
Now my relationship with Hikigaya-kun is different from others. First, we had been on dates before entering a romantic relationship. Our first kiss occurred in his home, coinciding with the first time I met his mother. I believe you can guess what happened next. The transfer student ruined it. Then in an empty classroom, we shared an adult kiss involving our tongues as he was pinned to the wall. Now, with that explanation out of the way, let's return to the main point. I find myself in a dressing room, clad in lilac lingerie. I'll be purchasing this later, all while making notes on my cell phone about our date. Planning for a date can be quite stressful.
Here is what I got:
6:00 AM- Wake up
I don't think I need to go into depth.
7:00 AM- Prepare a bath
8:00 AM- Bathe and get dressed
9:00 AM- Locate the meeting place and calm down from the nervous.
10:00 AM - Meet at a Local Art Museum
Hikigaya and I begin our date by exploring the various exhibits at the art museum, discussing their interpretations of the artwork, and sharing insights about the pieces they find most captivating.
Noon - Lunch at a Cozy Café
After immersing ourselves in art, we head to a nearby café for a leisurely lunch. Enjoy delicious sandwiches and engage in deep conversations about life, aspirations, and their shared experiences.
I'm expecting more, but first, I have to write out a plan. Now, I mention that I'm with the others. My own goal for this shopping trip is to search for an outfit for the date. Typically, I lean toward more conservative and elegant clothing. However, for this occasion, I want a more captivating outfit that diverges from my usual style. I aim to incorporate elements of sophistication with a touch of edginess to create a memorable look for my date with Hikigaya.
While the girls dressed me up in different outfits to bring out my sexiness, it was just a mature outfit that showed more skin. However, as we pass by a shop, I notice a sleek black jumpsuit with tailored lines and a cinched waist. The jumpsuit features modern details like a plunging neckline and cut-outs at the waist, adding a hint of allure while maintaining a sense of sophistication. It's an unexpected outfit choice, and I decided to purchase it at a later date without letting them know I'd be going on a date with Hikigaya-kun.
As for accessories, I'm uncertain. I've never worn a jumpsuit before.
We entered an upscale boutique, and while the girls looked around, I headed toward the front. My eyes scanned the array of accessories on display. A certain panda character caught my eye, but I couldn't be distracted. Spotting a sales assistant nearby, I approached.
"Excuse me, could you assist me in selecting accessories for this jumpsuit?" I asked, showing her a picture of the outfit.
"Of course, ma'am. I'd be delighted to help. Your jumpsuit is lovely, by the way. What kind of accessories are you considering?" asked the Sales Assistant.
"Thank you. I'm looking for accessories that will complement the sleek and sophisticated style of the jumpsuit while adding a touch of elegance," I replied.
"Wonderful choice! Let's start with jewelry. Would you prefer something subtle or more statement-making?" asked the sales assistant.
"I believe subtle jewelry would be more appropriate. Perhaps a pair of earrings and a bracelet that won't overpower the outfit," I replied.
"Absolutely. How about these delicate silver drop earrings? They have just the right amount of sparkle without being too flashy. And for the bracelet, this dainty silver chain with a small charm could complement them nicely," said the sales assistant.
"I see. I could also consider statement jewelry, such as geometric-shaped earrings or a bold cuff bracelet. These accessories would add a touch of contemporary flair to the ensemble. The earring does fit well. However, the silver chain bracelet lacks the boldness but she did recommend it," I thought to myself.
"Yes, those seem suitable. I'll take them. Now, what about a handbag? I need something sleek yet practical," I requested.
"I have just the thing. This black leather clutch with gold hardware is both elegant and functional. It will hold your essentials while adding a touch of sophistication to your ensemble," said the sales assistant.
"That looks perfect. I'll take the clutch as well. Lastly, do you have any recommendations for shoes?" I asked.
Considering the sleek silhouette of my jumpsuit, I could wear strappy heels in a complementary color, such as deep burgundy or metallic silver. The heels should be stylish yet comfortable enough for walking around during our date.
"For sure. Considering the sleek silhouette of your jumpsuit, a pair of black pointed-toe heels would be an excellent choice. They'll elongate your legs and complement the overall sophistication of your outfit," replied the sales assistant.
"I agree. I'll go with the black heels. Thank you for your assistance," I replied.
"You're welcome, ma'am. It was my pleasure helping you put together the perfect accessories for your jumpsuit. If you need anything else, feel free to ask," said the Sales Assistant.
I nodded appreciatively before heading to the cashier to complete my purchase, satisfied with my selections for the date with Hikigaya.
"Ah! Can you deliver it to my house? I don't want my friends to know; some of them do have a crush on my date," I asked.
"Yes, we can have it shipped," replied the sales assistant.
Regrouping, I wondered about my hair and makeup. I guessed once I'm home, I'll search for hairstyle and makeup.
0000
After greeting my mother, I returned to my room and I fell onto my bed. It had been a long and stressful day. While wandering around the shopping mall with Yuigahama-san, who hugged my arm tightly, we were stopped by a group of guys. They asked if we wanted to grab a cup of coffee, but we politely declined. Although I thanked them, they didn't take the rejection kindly and tried to ask us again. This time, I was stern in declining their offer.
I sat up and started searching for hairstyle and make-up ideas. After a few clicks, I thought I could opt for a chic updo with loose tendrils framing my face, adding a touch of softness to my overall look. Alternatively, I could wear my hair sleek and straight for a more modern vibe. Both styles are different from the plain twin-tail style I usually wear when I go on a date with Hikigaya-kun previously. Once I try out the full outfit and accessories, I'll figure out which style of hair fits best.
I guess the same goes for makeup. I can't wait to try on the outfit. I planned for a subtle smoky eye paired with a nude lip to enhance my features without overpowering the rest of my look. Trying out the outfit before the big day will definitely help. I guess that's it. I'll take a bath and relax by doing some homework.
It was a moment when I realized I had messed up. The bath was hot, helping my body relax. And then it dawned on me: I hadn't finished planning our date. I quickly got out, rushed through dressing, and returned to my room. Sitting at my desk. I began to work.
2:00 PM- I have no idea. I noticed that I did prepare in the morning but I did not include breakfast in my plan. I have low stamina already and I'll need the nutrients and energy for the date.
4:00 PM - I think a Bookstore date fits here
6:00 PM- Dinner at a Traditional Japanese Restaurant? I don't think two hours in a Bookstore will work. What should I do for 5:00 PM?
8:00 PM - Evening Walk by the River. I expect kissing throughout the date so a private area and a place close to the restroom will fit my situation. I'll be using the restroom to constantly reapply my make-up.
Wait! I still have to do my classwork. I'll have to sleep too soon.
The fan art of this chapter is the lingerie figure of Yukino. I have this figure and it's beautiful. And yes, she has the cat ears on.
otakumode dot com/shop/5ce5f50ec45d0c8c6d30aa0c/My-Teen-Romantic-Comedy-SNAFU-Too!-Yukino-Yukinoshita-Lingerie-Ver-1-7-Scale-Figure-Re-run
The next chapter is a heavy topic and I'll place a trigger warning. The next chapter will explain what happened to Sagami Minami and explain the school policy on dating.
I'm also writing a chapter called Bunny Girls. There's no real drama or triggers but I kind of need help writing it. You guys might know the basic structure of the bunny girl outfit. Bunny Ear Headband, Bodysuit, Bunny collar, Cuffs and cufflinks, Bunny Tail, and stocking. This outfit can be split into three categories: pantyhose, fishnet stockings, or bare legs. Splitting the girls into those three categories evenly is the challenge. First all the bunny girls' outfits either match the girls' hair or eye colors. Yukino is in the basic black outfit and is wearing black pantyhose. Like the fan art below.
yande dot re/post/show/380233
Tsuruga-san also wearing a black bunny outfit and has fishnet stockings on. I just remembered I wrote a scene of her showing off her bare legs. Yuigahama and Iroha-chan's outfit's color is based on the official background art. Yuigahama in pink and Iroha a light orange. And that's it. That's all, I have in the bunny girl chapter. The only thing written in the chapter is Hikigaya describing Yuknio's outfit.
Leave a comment or PM me which girl goes into which categories. Again, the three categories are bare legs, pantyhose, and fishnet stockings. I'll tally it up and write a chapter based on the result.
Heck if you guys want to draw a fan art of it. Even if it sticks figures. Go ahead, I might use it for the chapter if it helps me to write. It is a spoiler but for those that might draw fan art for the chapter. Haruno is used in the omake and has a lustful adult relationship with Hikigaya. That means that Haruno is also wearing a bunny outfit but not just any bunny girl outfit. She is wearing the so-called famous 'reverse bunny suit'.
Go crazy, down below in a different section. I'll list all the girls that appear in Hikigaya's harem. And the bunny outfit they are wearing.
Now for the fans of Miura Yumiko. This chapter has an omake that stars our blonde fire queen. After you read that section that's it. She finally took the first step at the starting line for the race for Hikigaya's love.
List of girls that are aiming for Hikigaya:
1. Yukino- black classic bunny suit. Black Pantyhose.
2. Yuigahama- pink bunny suit.
3. Iroha- Light orange bunny suit.
4. Kawasaki Saki- Silver Blue bunny suit, trying to match he hair.
5. Yumiko- Green bunny suit
6. Tsuruga Ami- similar appearance to Nyotengu from the Dead or Alive series. Black bunny suit with black fishnet stockings.
7. Akutsu Riko- similar appearance to Akeno Himejima from High School Dxd. Might go with the same bunny suit as her official bunny figure.
8. Marie Von Jeanne Gon- similar appearance to Rita Rossweisse from Houkai impact 3rd. Either dark pink, light gray, or silver bunny suit
9. Teshigawara Miyako- similar appearance to Saeko Busujima from High School of the Dead. I found a fan art and I might go with that. Purple bunny suit.
10. Sasaki Yukina- similar appearance to Aki Nijou from Maken-ki. Blue?
11. Haruno Yukinoshita- black or red reverse bunny suit
Omake:
I can't believe what I'm doing. After I calmed down, I was upright-straddling Hikio. My arms wrap around his neck, my crying face buried into his shoulder.
How did this happen? Like many love stories out there, it begins with a silly little girl confessing her love to a guy she liked during lunch. He thanked her but rejected her feelings.
I tried not to cry all day, keeping to myself. It hurts. After school, Yui asked if I wanted to go shopping with the others for new bras, as their bra wires snapped. I told her I was busy. Sitting on a bench in the school courtyard, my head bowed in sadness. I heard a sound. I looked up to see the person I wanted to meet. Hikio approached, noticing my distress, and took a seat beside me.
"Hey, Miura. Are you okay?"
I shook my head. "Can we talk?"
I took Hikio back to my house, even inviting him to my bedroom. We sat down on my bed.
I forced a weak smile. "I'm fine, Hikio. Just... dealing with some things. That's what I wanted to say but..."
Hikio frowned, sensing my discomfort.
I let out a sigh. "I... I finally confessed to Hayato. I poured my heart out to him, but... he rejected me."
I thought after he got rejected, he might notice me.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Miura. Rejection is never easy," said Hikio.
I wiped away a tear, my voice trembling. "I thought... I thought maybe he felt the same way, but I guess I was wrong."
Hikio placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Sometimes feelings aren't reciprocated, no matter how much we wish they were. But that doesn't diminish your courage to express your feelings."
I wrapped my arms around him, letting out a sniffle, grateful for his words of comfort. "Thank you, Hikigaya. I just feel so foolish."
I felt the tears rolling down my cheeks as I buried my face in his shoulder.
Hikio shook his head. "You're not foolish, Miura. You're brave for putting yourself out there. And just because things didn't work out with Hayama doesn't mean you won't find someone who truly appreciates you."
I managed a small smile, touched by his sincerity. "You always know what to say, Hikio."
Hikio shrugged modestly. "I've had my fair share of rejection too. It's never easy, but it's a part of life. What matters is how we pick ourselves up and move forward."
I nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope amidst my heartache. "Thank you for being here for me, Hikio. I really appreciate it."
"Anytime, Miura. I'm here whenever you need someone to talk to," said Hikio.
As we sat together in the quiet of the house, I found solace in Hikio's presence, grateful for his unwavering support during my moment of vulnerability. I kept crying, letting it all out.
0000
That's how I found myself in that embarrassing moment. What if someone walks in on us in that position? No matter how innocent it actually is, people might assume we were in the middle of being intimate with each other. What would my mom say if she saw her only teenage daughter straddling a boy? She would kill me and give me a lengthy lecture on underage sex.
I jumped off Hiko. aware that my make-up was running down my face, staining his shirt.
"T-take your shirt off. I'll find something for you to wear," I commanded him.
I walked to the bathroom, where I washed my face in the sink. Reflecting on Hikio. I thought about his sharp intellect and clever wit. He had a great ability to analyze situations and provide insightful commentary. I can see why some of the girls enjoyed talking to him. He can provide engaging conversations, and the mental stimulation gained from it was refreshing.
I returned to my parent's room and began searching for something big enough to fit Hiko. Despite his cynical exterior, Hikio has a deep understanding of human nature and is capable of empathy. He comforted me, displaying an ability to see beyond surface appearances and understand the complexities of people's emotions. I began to see him in a different light.
Ignoring Hikio's bare chest, I handed him a jersey jacket.
"I'll wash this," I said as I took his shirt.
"You don't have to," replied Hikio.
"It's the least I could do to cheer me up," I said.
I placed it in the washing machine, continuing to think about Hikio. He is fiercely independent and unafraid to go against the crowd. I admired his self-assuredness and willingness to stand up for his beliefs.
Returning to my room, I shifted uncomfortably, feeling a bit awkward in the unexpected situation. I still couldn't believe I brought home a boy and had straddled him too.
"Well, since we're stuck here for a while, how about we make the best of it? Do you want to play a game or something to pass the time?" asked Hikio.
I smiled gratefully, appreciating his effort to lighten the mood. "Sure, that sounds like a good idea. How about we play a word association game?"
I feel like you'll just get real into it. If it was a video game or something.
Hikio nodded in agreement. "Sounds fun. You start."
I thought for a moment before saying, "Sun."
Hikio pondered for a second before responding, "Nap."
"It would be Hikio to think about taking a nap, to associate it with the term sun," I chuckled.
I smiled, enjoying the simplicity of the game. "Warmth."
Hikio grinned, his eyes lighting up with mischief. "Lizard."
As we continued to play, our conversation flowed effortlessly, the initial awkwardness of the situation melting away. I was hoping for it. We laughed and joked, enjoying each other's company. I notice the soreness in my legs. I got up and informed Hikio that I would check on his shirt.
I placed his shirt in the dryer, my mind lingering on the last couple of minutes spent with Hikio. I knew Hikio could be brutally honest and unafraid to speak his mind, even if it meant facing backlash or criticism. I also dislike insincerity; I found his straightforwardness and lack of pretense enlightening.
Returning to my room, Hikio and I exchanged a fond smile, grateful for the impromptu moment we had shared.
0000
I returned to my bed and collapsed onto it, staring at the ceiling. Just moments ago, I had bid Hikio goodbye, and now my room felt lonely. I sat up, my mind filled with thoughts of Hikio ever since he had comforted me.
I left for the kitchen and found my mom, who had brought home takeout. I helped set the table.
I witnessed Hikio face numerous challenges and setbacks throughout the second year, but he had always managed to bounce back and persevere. When rumors spread about him, his resilience and inner strength to keep his head high and continue with his school life were something I noticed.
Taking my place at the dinner table, we began eating.
"So sweetheart, did anything happen today?" my mom asked.
I nervously fidgeted with the hem of my shirt as I sat across from her.
Before I could answer, she spoke up, "You see, the neighbor saw a boy leaving our home."
Those damn hags.
My mom gently placed her hand over mine, and I think she noticed my uneasiness. "Is everything alright, sweetheart? You seem a bit tense."
I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what I knew I had to tell her."Mom, there's something I need to talk to you about. The neighbors saw... a boy leaving our house today. I have a reason for it... I confessed to a boy I liked and was rejected by him. The boy leaving our house was Hikigaya Hachiman; he was the boy that comforted me and walked me home."
My mom's eyes widened in surprise, a sympathetic expression crossing her face."I see, and here I was planning to tease you and ask, 'A boy? Who was it? Do I know him?' So this boy who you confess to? Does he have a name?"
I nodded, feeling a knot form in my stomach. "His name is Hayama Hayato. He's... a classmate of mine."
My mom's eyes widened in surprise. "Hayama Hayato? Isn't he the one you've mentioned before?"
"Yes," I replied.
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know how much you cared about him," said Mom.
I nodded, my eyes welling up with tears again. "I thought... I thought maybe he felt the same way, but I guess I was wrong. I feel so foolish, Mom."
My mom squeezed my hand. "You're not foolish, Yumiko. It takes a lot of courage to confess your feelings to someone, and I'm proud of you for being honest about how you feel."
"That's what Hikio said too," I grinned.
"Hikio?" Mom asked.
"His name is Hikigaya Hachiman. He's... a classmate of mine. I call him Hikio. He was the boy that comforted me and walked me home."
"I see."
I wiped away my tears, feeling a sense of comfort in my mother's words. "But now what do I do, Mom? I don't know how to face him or anyone else at school. I didn't want Hikio to worry about me more."
Mom smiled gently, her eyes full of understanding. "You take things one day at a time, sweetheart. Surround yourself with people who love and support you, and remember that you're not alone."
"That's something Hikio would have said," I let out a laugh.
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "Thank you, Mom. I don't know what I'd do without you."
Mom wrapped her arms around me in a comforting embrace. "You'll get through this, Yumiko. And I'll be right here beside you every step of the way."
"Thank you."
As we sat together in the quiet of our home, I felt grateful for my mother's unwavering support and love, knowing that I could always rely on her to be there for me in times of need.
"Also, bring that boy, Hikio over. To think there is a boy you feel comfortable to cry in front of. He must be special."
"Mom! It is not like that. Geez," I told her off.
Despite his cynical demeanor, Hikio has a kind and compassionate side, especially towards those he cares about. He was nice to me when I needed it.
Just maybe...maybe Mom is right.
