We're back on chapter 9.

REMINDER: I DO NOT OWN LOST IN OZ OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS.

Back underground, the heroes kept continuing their journey to the Heart of Oz. West keeps feeling its presence and reveals the right direction to its hidden chamber. They stopped to have a rest before they kept going.

While the others were resting, West pulled Fitz to talk to him about his relationship with Dorothy.

"Do you really think Dorothy likes me. And I mean 'like, like'?" she asked.

"Why are we still talking about this?" Fitz asked.

"All I'm wondering is, what if she tries to kiss me?"

"Then you just kiss her back. No big deal." Fitz said.

"Ok, but what if she tries to kiss me, like… like... like, without warning?" West asked.

Fitz was confused. "What are you talking about? Have you ever kissed anyone before?"

West panicked for a moment. "Don't. Dude, you gonna tell the whole jungle?" She hasn't kissed anyone before, no mater boy or girl.

"I take that as a no, then." Fitz said.

Dorothy stood there alone, thinking of how she would tell West that she loved her so much. But she's scared that she might reject her. she wouldn't know what to do. Oz noticed Dorothy, so he walked to her.

"Is something wrong, Dorothy?" he asked concerned.

"Oh, it's nothing, Oz. I was just thinking." Dorothy said.

"I know that look." Oz said. "I can tell if someone is in love with another, they're nervous to express their feelings. Is it West?"

Dorothy remained silent.

"I thought so. My dear girl, you have to tell her how you fell about her." Oz said.

"That's the thing. I don't know what to do." Dorothy said.

"Just talk to her. Tell her how you feel." Oz said. "You have courage. And heart."

Patchwork Doll walked to them. "West sensed the way to the Heart."

Later, there was a bridge filled with magic. The group arrived there. They noticed a writing about the bright.

'The bridge only recognizes those with heart pure as light. If those with black hearts try to cross this bridge, will suffer certain imprisonment for all eternity."

"Ok, 'certain imprisonment.' Did you see, Reigh?" Ojo asked while contacting Reigh on the monitor.

"Yes, I did. This bridge is beyond my research or Glinda's knowledge." Reigh said.

"Who knows what 'certain imprisonment' means." Fitz wondered before he sees a crystal across the bridge. There was someone trapped in there. "That's what it means."

"If we cross the bridge, we might help whoever is trapped in that crystal." Dorothy said.

"What if it's already too late, Dorothy? We don't even know how long he or she's been trapped." Scarecrow said. "I think it's properly a woman."

"We have to try." Dorothy said. "Ok, let's go."

Dorothy and her friends carefully walked on the bridge, then a glow was shined white. They figured it means it knew their hearts were pure. They reached to the end of the bridge and made it across.

"You made it?" Reigh asked.

"Yes, we made it." Oz said. "Where's young Fitz?"

They noticed Fitz was still on the other side.

"Fitz, what are you waiting for?" Dorothy asked.

"I can't. I can't. I was Langwidere's henchmen. If I cross the bridge, I'll be trapped in crystal." Fitz said scaredy.

"You helped us stopped the Nomes from stealing magic, boy-o." Patchwork Doll said.

"Yeah, you've changed." Ojo said.

"I-I know that, but if this bridge judges me, and my heart isn't pure enough, I'll be frozen in time forever." Fitz said afraid. "I can't do it. I'll just go back home."

West and Roquat looked at each other. "He needs our help." West said.

"Agreed." Roquat said.

West and Roquat walked across the bridge to Fitz back to the side.

"Fitz, you have changed, like I have." Roquat said before offering his hand.

"We have to have courage." West said before offering her hand. "Take our hand."

"You can do it." Roquat said before Fitz held his and West's hand.

"There you go. Come on." West said encouraging.

They carefully walked across the bridge. Fitz was afraid that the bridge would judge him since he was evil once, but when the bridge glow whit, it knew that Fitz's heart was pure enough to it.

"There we are." Roquat said. "Come on, Crooked Magician, let's cross this bridge."

The trio made their way across the bridge to the other side. The group cheered to Fitz's courage to cross the bridge.

"Told you." Dorothy said.

"Thanks, Gale." Fitz said gratefully.

"Now, what are we gonna do about this guy?" Ojo asked, remembering the crystal.

The group looked at the crystal. The person inside was too shadowy to see, but it looked like a jester. Scarecrow had a feeling like he's seen this person before.

"Scarecrow, do you have any idea who this might be?" Patchwork asked.

"No, but it looks very familiar." Scarecrow said.

"Well, my child, let's see if you can free this victim of this prison." Oz said.

"But why did he cross the world? What kind of ancient evil he was?" West said.

"Maybe the bridge judged him poorly." Ojo suggested.

"That's impossible." Patchwork said.

"All right, even if he was evil, we might be able to redeem him." Fitz suggested.

"He's right. Everyone deserves a second chance." Roquat said. "So, go on. Work your magic."

"Ok. Just let me warm up." West rubbed her hands and placed them on the crystal. "Here goes."

West used her magic on the crystal, causing it to glow. It glows brighter, and brighter until the crystal vanished and the person was free. The group stared at the person who was imprisoned in the crystal. Then Scarecrow was shocked as he recognized the person.

"No. It can't be." Scarecrow said.

"What? Who is he?" Dorothy said.

"No." the Wizard was surprised.

"It's… it's…" Scarecrow was too shocked to say.

"The Jester is free!"

It was the Jester, younger brother of the Wicked Witches of the East and West.

The Jester's back? How did he get himself underground and trapped in that crystal?

Chater 10 will come.
