Chapter 13

Vivi stands with Ino looking over a map laying upon the dining room table. "This here is my home island. The land I am willing to fight for." Vivi tells Ino with a faraway smile.

"I understand that. We just had our Great 4th Shinobi War. To protect our home from Madra and the Rabbit Goddess." Ino tells her with her own frown at the thought of friends and family they all had lost to a mad man.

Vivi glances at the blonde standing next to her. "So, the rumors in the east blue with the elemental islands a war was waging and could make it way to the Grand Line was true?" She questions Ino.

Ino blinds dumbly at the girl standing next to her. "You heard about our war?" She questions not sure how to feel about it.

"Yes, I am a Princess and all Royals across the world heard about your war. They had been readying their troops just in case the Broke Works members as well were kept in the loop as well. As Mr. 0 wanted to see if he could profit off the war." Vivi tells her with a frown.

"Well Mr. 0 will be getting a piece of my mind once we arrive at your home island." Ino said smirking as she plans to break the man's mind.

"But I thought Tsunade-sama said you have to take it easy?" Vivi questions as Tsunade comes walking into the kitchen.

"What are you brat's looking at?" Tsunade questions looking at the two girls looking over a map of Alabaster.

"Tsunade-sama. We are looking at a map of Vivi's home island. The land Captain Luffy and the others promised to save from "Mr. 0"." Ino tells Tsunade.

"Hmmm…I am shocked my husband hadn't help with what is happening there." Tsunade said with a thought expression as she is now wondering how this could have gone for so long without Dragon and his people hearing about it. "Any matter, we shall do what we are able too to help your people." She added as she caught a glimpse of Naruto sleeping on the couch.

Ino glances to where Tsunade is looking. "He has been through so much, at just 16 years old….But now he can choose for himself on what path he will be taking as well…Finally get the rest he has so earned." She told the elder blonde.

"If only his father hadn't died that night. I do believe Naruto would have had a better life." Tsunade told Ino. Letting out a sigh she closes her eyes. "But at last that wasn't his fate. His fate was to suffer from those who claimed to be his family. He would have had a better life as an orphan. Then have a woman like that as his mother." She added still wishing she would have put an end to that woman before leaving.

"I did my best to give Naruto a normal and happy life as his friend and then his girlfriend and …" Ino blushes after that.

Tsunade snorts. "I know. You made the brat happy." She tells Ino with a motherly smile. "At times I wonder what would have happened if I had sent Naruto to go live with Luffy." She said as an afterthought. A thought that even Shanks had shared not too long ago.

Luffy sits upon the sheep's head of the Going Merry. "This is going to be fun with all the shinobi on my crew for the time being." He said to Merry as no one besides Zoro was near him.

"You think so?" Zoro said as he cracked open his left eye to look towards Luffy to notice the Nara girl not that far from him napping using her arms as makeshift pillows.

"Well yeah. They can move swiftly and know a few tricks we don't. What I heard. Ino is able to enter one's mind as Shika over there is able to stop you only using shadows." Luffy said grinning as they noticed Chopper playing with Choji who is enlarging his hand's for the young doctor Reindeer.

"Interesting indeed." Zoro agreed as a child like giggle rang through the air. Only being heard by a selected few. Making Luffy grin at hearing the joy coming from his poor beaten up ship.

"I dunno this felt like a good stopping place. As well the next chapter will have them landing in Alabaster and old smokey will be on their asses."
