Chapter 7
Sam's POV
I was relaxing on the couch thinking about my sister when something on the news caught my eye.
It was a picture of a huge wolf and the person on the news was saying that it was spotted in Australia 20 minutes ago by a random hiker.
Haley's POV
My phone was ringing but I didn't want to answer it, I groggily opened my eyes and checked the caller Ricky why was Ricky calling me at 7 in the morning, and that's when I noticed that Aria was not in her bed.
I shakily picked up the phone and was met by Ricky's urgent voice giving me an address and telling me it was about Aria.
20 minutes later
I ran up to Ricky just caching my breath before Ricky grabbed my arm and pulled me into the forest. "Where is Aria" I asked out of breath. "She ran into the forest" Rick puffed out "we're following her-." " what the Hell" Ricky said sounding confused as she suddenly stopped "what is it" I asked trying to catch my breath.
Ricky points to the ground where I see Aria's footsteps disappear I see a few paw prints and a bunch of dirt is scattered it leads to a puddle. There are a few paw prints and eventually we are at the to of a cliff and there are footprints right at the edge. "Mako??" I ask and Ricky nods.
"We jump from lower, a ten story fall is not what we need right now." Rick says pulling me along "Let's go find a mermaid." Hopefully I think in my brain
Aria's POV
My tail doesn't feel as heavy as it did yesterday when I pull it up behind me on a piece of rock, when I get to land I sigh it is going to take forever to dry of I ball up my fists in annoyance and here some start to sizzle, I remember what Haley had told me last night about Ricky's power and I clench my hand over my tail.
All I can see is steam as I feel my legs again, I notice that my clothes are a bit tattered but somehow in one piece. Why did I even come here I ask myself am I running away or something, am I planning in living on the island. I feel a single drop of rain land on me a start running into the trees trying to find cover.
My speed is fast too fast and yet not fast enough. I see a small cave start to come into view just as my body becomes water and I hit the rocky ground hard, hard enough that my exposed mud-drift gats cut. I pull myself forward using my newfound strength to pull myself towards the cave, towards safety.
Seth's POV
"Seth, can you please go tell the girls that breakfast is ready" my mom Sue asks "sure" I reply already know that Aria will probably still not be leaving the loft, I knock and when my Wolf ears pick up no sound from Inside the room not even breathing, so I open the door, both beds are empty.
