Chapter 1
A Nightmare
I opened my eyes or at least I think I did I notice two things one I felt odd I nothing felt right my bones felt like they were backwards or disjointed or something i couldn't really tell as it was too dark and second , I was cramped it felt like I was curled up into a ball so I did the only natural thing I stretched on arm out to see how- thunk not very far it seems but it felt like it gave little leeway and it seem to bend maybe I can get out of wherever I am with enough force so using my other arm and my legs I pushed outwards it took a little more force then expected but the first cracked started to show it hurt my eyes so I stopped and closed my eyes . So where ever I am it's at least outside or inside with very bright lights but considering I haven't heard a thing so i'm guessing outside. It took a bit but I could open my eyes without the light hurt them so I continued to both stretch my legs and arms out I grunted as I struggled to break out of whatever I was in until finally I heard a loud crack I was excited for all of two second until I fell on my face.
"Ow" at least i was out, but something was still covering my eyes I still had that feeling of nothing being right I remove the object off my head and look at it. it was white with green spots on top of it had a an oval shape , I was looking at it the I notice a blue paw I quickly lifted it up to see who the owner was but saw nothing huh weird it was there a second ago I lowered the top of the oval but saw the blue paw and noticed a weird bump on it come back down I stared at it I followed it to and an arm that was also blue my eyes went wide as it didn't belong to someone else it BELONGED TO ME I ROTATED TO MY SIDE and saw my feet and legs they were black but my legs were backwards instead of bending forward they bent backwards like a dogs . " W-W-WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME " I yelled , ok, ok panic does not help just calm down , I take multiple long deep breaths after I collected my nerves I look at the rest of my body I started at my new feet they were just black like I had put on socks that went all the way up my leg next I noticed what looked like blue shorts as the black fur ended there the blue fur went up my stomach, next I look at my hand or paws I lost my thumb and pinky as I only have three fingers I felt something on both sides of my head I moved my hand or paw whatever to the side of my head and grab whatever it was it felt soft so I pushed it to were i could see it , it looked like a black tear drop it felt furry yet also leathery at the same time I squeezed it I yelped in pain , I let go of it the pain also went away rather quickly so no touching that right I also grabbed the other thing I felt yup same teardrop .
I layed down on my belly right well time to get up I guess I placed my new hands or paws on the ground and pushed up and pulled my new knees under me so far so good now the hard part I moved one leg to put myself in a crouching position , I steadied myself I counted to three I took a deep breath one , two , three I stood up and as expected I stumbled and tried to use my other leg to balance myself but I couldn't do it fast enough I flinch as I was braced to fell the ground but it never came in fact I felt a new sensation near my tail bone quickly readjust itself , I slowly turn my head and saw what it was a tail up in the air " ok I need alot of answers " I say to myself , I looked around it was like I was in a forest as around all I saw was trees it all looked the same the only thing different was the ground as it looked like a dirt pathway " what happened to me or where am I " I unsteadily get on my feet using my arms as a balance as they were spread all the way out like I was on a tight rope I turn my head back around to my new tail it was like it had a mind of its own as it went up and down and side to side I wonder . I slowly lowered my arms I no longer felt uneasy my tail seemed to help keep my balance after a few unsteady steps I start to walk normally or as normally as I could like this I also noticed I had a lot of dirt on me as well as a slime like substance using my hand I wipe myself down and shook my self-clean , I still felt disgusting even after that note to self-shower after I get out of here speaking of which were do I go .
I looked left and right while looking I saw the top part of the oval shaped object next to me I kneeled down next to it what is this I picked it up I looked around some more and saw some more of the shards of my prison , I grabbed the two biggest piece's and roughly put them together the shape of it sort of resembled a egg " did I come out of this thing what the hell happened to me , and why did i come out of a egg , " but this still didn't help me I look left and right again well standing here isn't going help me I look to the left well time to get going I guess ?
? minutes later
"EVERYTHING LOOKS THE FRICKEN SAME " I yell everything it's just trees , dirt , dirt , and more fricken trees some time's I might get lucky and walk into a big area with guess what more DIRT AND TREES , I sigh and rub my temples " if i'm going to just be walking in a giant circle then why was I even brought here " and to make matters worse ;growl; I was hungry I try to ignore it for now i don't even know I- I felt tremors and a loud crashing sound my heart started to race and I started to feel a bead of sweat form what was that it sounded far away but I still felt the tremor my legs started to quiver something told me to run so I ran as fast as I could , I felt fear as I ran as far as I could and as far this weird place could allow but everything looks the same so I couldn't tell if i was even going anywhere but eventually I had to stop do to ;growl; , I stopped panting and layed on my knees holding my stomach with one of my hands I winched in pain " starving , lost and the sun i- " , I looked up and gasp in surprised I was so distracted by trying to find a way out that I didn't realize the sun was still in the same spot as when I first emerged it was like time hadn't passed , this place , world , whatever this forest or hellscape it was getting weirder and weirder by the second or hour or whatever I mentally sounded exhausted and was physicality exhausted I weakly got up I could barely stand but I had to find a way out before ;GROWL; I froze of course I know that I was hungry but unfortunately that stomach growl wasn't me I couldn't move , I felt weak lost and hopeless I slowly turned to where the sound came from .
The ground shook and trees fell FUCK the sounds were coming from my left I gathered as much strength as I had left and ran into the forest to my right this was my final choice and an option I didn't what to use it as I was already lost but the trees were dense and it was dark in here so now I was in much more trouble if I didn't get back on the main path but for now I had to find a hiding spot , I felt around on the ground near the trees if animals were in here then there might be burrows or something similar while this was going on the tremors and the tree snapping was getting closer , I started to panic , my muscles ache and I felt exhaustion setting in but luck was on my side as the one of trees I checked had a small hole near the roots I hoped it was bigger on the inside as the hole was just barely able to fit me in it was a bit bigger inside but not by much the tree snapping noise stop as well as the tremors . I tried to slow my heart and my breathing I had started to hyperventilate without realizing then I started to hear a odd noise almost like sniffing it was trying to find my scent and then I heard a loud growling noise it found me , it started to walk and the tremors started to walk towards me I crawled towards the hole the trees started snapping I had no energy but I started to feel something else adrenaline perhaps . It was coming closer 3 it sniffed 2 it growled 1 it dragged something "GO," I sprinted the tree I was under flew over my head and crashed into more trees it bellow a roar in frustration and started to run after me one good thing about me being smaller than the thing I wasn't slowed down by the trees as I weaved in and out of them however I heard it crashing though said trees I started to hear less of the trees being broken , I started to chuckle and smile finally something is s- my thoughts are interrupted as a much larger tree is thrown over my head and blocked my path I skid to a stop bumping into it I hear it behind me .
I fall to my knees tears start to form " why , why me I don't what to be here but now , i'm going to die again " my muscles ache , i'm starving and i'm about to be eaten I hear it behind me i turn around it had a gray under belly , the rest of its body was purple , it had a horn on its head I do the only thing left I turn towards the tree and start digging " if i'm going to die again why am i trying to escape " something is telling me to dig I hear it getting closer the tears are streaming down my face blurring my vision " IF YOU WHAT ME TO LIVE I NEED SOMTHING PLEASE " though hazy eyes I see my hands glow the dirt seems to move faster than normal I continue digging though the me sized hole I made , however as I keep digging the world seems to shift as the tunnel I made starts to collapse and the earth shift upward as my vision goes black
? POV
I take a deep breath " i can do this I'm going to be just like papa and mama " I know that I should say mom and dad but that helps me keep calm, however I jump back in shock as something crashes in front of me it was a blue fur mon covered in blood " h-hello are you ok " it suddenly gasps and starts to cough up blood. I rush over to him and hold him in my front paws and hold him up I rummage through my bag come on here I pull out an escape orb " I'M SORRY " as i hold it up and a bright light enveloped us.
