Omni-Magic Summer EP 25: Heroes United Part 1: Ben Gen 10
I don't own anything, except my OCs. Just to clear things up, this Rex is a mixture of his reboot and main counterparts, as well as the Nanite Event Lore and EVOs, and Providence. Enjoy!
"Uhh… Twilight? When you asked me to come over because you said you need my help with something, I did not expect to play 'computer fairy godmother'!" Nanomech exclaims as he, Twilight, and Spike are in Twilight's private lab (AKA her backyard garage) the micro alien is inside Twilight's computer as he flies through circuits and stops to fix some broken wires or chips with his techno-knowledge.
The teen in question has her hair in a messy bun with some pencils in it while having a pair of blue goggles on top. She was dressed like a scientist with a white lab coat that stopped at her thighs, a blue sweater underneath, and long light blue boots with dark purple leggings. Her canine companion has his lab coat and goggles, puppy-sized, and a green wig that reminds Ben of Dr. Frankenstein.
"I do need help, Ben. My computer seriously needs some fixing if I'm ever going to get this program up and running and Nanomech is just the hero for the job. Besides, you haven't used Nanomech much and he's cute in a small pixie way." Twilight giggles as Spike laughs and Nanomech grumbles as he is sick of using Nanomech for most of the girls' favors after coming back from the 'Shadow Ghoul Mansion' 3 days ago.
But, in a strange, hi-tech computer lab with a bunch of men in white and black suits with masks and hi-tech goggles, working on some computers, someone approaches a woman working at a computer as the figure spoke. "You called for me, Dr. Holiday?" "Yes... We have recently been picking up a strange Nanite reading in one location. But what's odd is that the signal keeps fading in and out. As if the Nanites in that area are switching themselves off and on at random. Very odd, indeed..."
The figure glanced at the readings as it displayed Canterlot City. "And one more thing, Six. 'They' have been reported, heading toward the same location as the strange Nanites in that area." "Very well... I'm on my way, Dr. Holiday." The shadow left as the woman stared at the radar reading of Canterlot and the 3 particular dots on it. "What Nanaites are these? And why are you going there, Rex? What are you looking for?"
Special Intro:
Planet Earth is shown as the sun can be seen behind it, only for an explosion to show up on the planet as the camera zooms in as rock music plays.
"So make way to start the revolution!"
A bunch of nanites flew down the screen as a bunch of mini-Omnitrix symbols did the same from the side.
Rex and Ben are shown, standing by each other with smirks as Ben transforms into Four Arms while Rex makes his Smack Hands while a gear with an Omnitrix symbol in it appears in the background. They both give battle cries and throw punches at the 4th wall.
"Make way, we're going to have fun tonight!"
"Make way to start the revolution!"
Agent 6 is shown as he deploys his blades and slashes away.
Rex is shown with his BFS and swipes it across the screen as Shock Rock leaps out of an electric explosion and creates a giant sword out of his arm, slashing downward at the 4th wall.
"So make way!"
The Rainbooms are shown as they all smile while hugging, only for them to notice Ben and Rex, giving grins and pointing their fingers at them to look cool.
Rex then kicks at the 4th wall with his Punk Busters.
Heatblast is with Rex and Bobo as the alien conjures and spins a fireball on his finger like a basketball with a grin, only for the monkey to smirk as he grabs a bucket of water and splashes it on the alien, putting out his fire as the alien frowns while Rex laughs at the sight.

XLR8 is running on the ground, across the screen as Rex follows on Ben's Hoverboard. The alien came to a stop as Rex leaped off.
XLR8 turned back into Ben while Rex moved his goggles up. Both hero kids smirked at the 4th wall while Ben crossed his arms.
The special title is then shown as the music comes to an end.
The next day, Ben is walking around town, enjoying himself as he finally has a chance to relax for a change. But as the boy kept walking, he was not aware of 2 figures, spying on him from some trees. The kid then went inside a burger place and paid for his food, walking out of it as he sniffed the bag and sighed. "Ahhh... A double cheeseburger with pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo, with curly fries and a root beer! And for dessert, 4 chocolate chip cookies! This is going to be sweet." The kid then walked towards the park and sat on a bench.
The kid looks around the peaceful park as he sighs. "I admit, these last few days are nice and relaxing, but it's starting to get boring for my tastes. And speaking of taste..." Ben then got out the burger, fries, and cookies while he held the cheeseburger up as he licked his lips. "Hello... Lunch!" But just as Ben was about to take the 1st bite, something swiped his burger out of his hands and the kid blinked in shock! He then noticed someone swiped his cookies and fries as well, but left his soda. "Huh?!" Ben looks around and spots his burger and sides, being stolen by another kid!
He looks to be about the same age as Ben and is a Hispanic kid with lightly spiked, slicked-back dark hair and wears orange goggles and dark brown eyes. He is wearing a red jacket with orange stripes on his biceps, wrists, and bottom helm. He is also wearing a black/dark-bluish shirt underneath, baggy blue jeans, and blue running shoes that are a bit big. He lastly wears blue gloves with orange wrists as well. "Thanks for the food, kid!" The boy cries out as he runs off. Ben blinks in shock and then frowns. "Hey! I paid for that!"
But before Ben can take off, something lands on him, knocking him to the ground. he glanced up and was surprised to see a chimpanzee on top of him! The chimp has pale purple skin and brown fur. He wears an eye patch and fez. His shirt and shorts are a dingy gray/green color with blue cloth at the bottom of his sleeves, shorts, and a line down his shirt that extends to the bottom. He also has blue cuff links. "Nothing personal, kid. A monkey's got to eat. We owe you one!" The chimp said as he took off.
Ben got up and dusted himself off as he looked at the 2. "A talking monkey sidekick with a mystery lunch thief that appeared out of nowhere?" He grabs his root beer and drinks it all as he tosses the cup into a nearby trash can as he bleches. "Looks like things are picking back up, again! It's hero time!" Ben slaps down on the Omnitrix and transforms.
The kid and chimp kept running as the ape spoke to his partner. "We scored good this time, bud!" "Yeah! Too bad we didn't get the soda. Maybe next time. Let's take a break..." The kid with goggles said as they stopped by a tree and rested. "Here, you take the fries, I'll take the burger and we can both have 2 cookies, don't want my best pal to go to sleep hungry." The kid smirks as the chimp shoots back. "Sleep? Like we'll have time for that." They both chowed down on the food and swallowed the last bits with a satisfied sigh.
But just then, a large hand grabs the kid by his jacket! They are surprised as Cannonbolt holds the boy up and he glares at him. "All right, lunch swipper! Where's my food?!" "Wha? How do you know that? What kind of EVO are you?!" "Hey!" Cannonbolt glanced at the chimp, trying to punch his armor back, but with no luck, as the alien stared. "Get your hands off him, you dirty ape!" "Look who's talking." "I got him, Rex! I'll save ya! He ain't so tough" But no matter how much the ape struggles, he can't pray the boy free as he collapses on the ground and pants.
"All right!" Cannonbolt glares at the kid. "I'm going to ask you for the last time: Where is my burger and fries?! And my cookies?!" "We... We ate them, dude! They're gone." Cannonbolt felt his anger boiling at the kid's answer. "You... Did... WHAT?!" He yells in his face as he drops the kid and balls his fists in shaking rage as the 2 thieves are scared. "Nice going, kid genius! Now he's very mad!" The ape calls out.
"You 2 are going to pay for this! Both with money and pain! I waited an hour to get that meal and I'm not going through that again! So, hold still so I can squash you both like bugs!" But the kid frowns as he gets back up and glares back. "Looks like I don't have a choice!" Just then, as the kid clinched his right fist, strange blue lines appeared around his arm and a hi-tech whining sound came from it. "Please work..." The kid whispers as he pulls back his arm and swings it out, just as Cannonbolt blocks with his forearm plates as something big and hard sends him sliding back!
As the alien lowers his arms, he blinks at what he saw. "What the?!" The kid's right arm has now become a giant orange sword with a metal, square handle that is connected to the kid's arm, which is now covered in metal wires. "I... I did it, Bobo! Do you see this?! It worked! I made the sword!" "Take the monster down, first. Then, we can celebrate." Bobo, the chimp, points out as the kid remembers and gets back into the fight. "Oh, right!" He charges and swings his new weapon as Cannonbolt shields himself and rolls towards the kid, who blocks with his sword arm.
The 2 then got into a struggle as the kid grunted as his blade clashed with Cannonbolt's rolling, only for him to power through and knock Cannonbolt into the lake with a splash. The kid breathes as his arm changes back to normal as Bobo speaks to him. "Good job, kid! Let's move!" The 2 took off as Cannonbolt slowly climbed out as he rubbed his head. "Okay... The kid's arm can turn into a giant metal sword... Clearly, not your average food thieves. Still, who knows what the kid is capable of? I've got to stop him before he tries to hurt someone!" Cannonbolt shook himself off and glared, rolling after the 2.
The kid and Bobo were running toward the Canterlot City Museum, only to notice Cannonbolt charging them from behind. "It's still standing after that?!" The kid exclaims as Bobo speaks out while he looks back. "That ain't no ordinary EVO, kid! Look at that symbol on his forehead!" The kid glances back as Cannonbolt uncurls and cries out. "Hold it right there, weird robot kid thief!" Cannonbolt took off as the monkey states. "It looks like it's using some kind of tech! And you know what that means!" "Why do I have to do everything?!" The kid cries out as the 2 run up the steps while Cannonbolt launches up high and poses to bodyslam the kid. "Nowhere left to run!" "Now, Rex! Do your thing!" The chimp hollers out.
The kid, Rex, turns back with a glare as his right hand has the tech lines on it. SLAM "Oh no. Kid! You all right?!" Bobo cries out at the sight of Cannonbolt, right on top of Rex. "Oops... I think I went too far, this time." Cannonbolt mumbles, only to feel himself pushed up as Cannonbolt sees Rex has his hand on the Omnitrix symbol. "Got it!" But just then, blue energy surges between Rex's hand and the Omnitrix, causing a shockwave of blue and green energy that sends Cannonbolt crashing down at the base of the steps as the alien groans as green lightning surges around the badge.
"Did you get it?" "I think so..." Rex answers Bobo as the 2 look down at Cannonbolt. "Oh... Lunch thief..." But before the alien can do anything, his Omnitrix starts beeping weirdly and part of the core pops up as the hourglass starts glitching like crazy! "Whoa! That's new..." As the camera slowly moves in towards the Omnitrix badge, it then starts going inside the hourglass symbol as the camera then starts zooming rapidly through the inner workings and circuits of the Omnitrix. But as the camera kept moving small, sphere-shaped machines were also making their way through it as well.
The machines have a blue core in a see-through sphere, that has several cylinders around it. As the small machines make the same sound as Rex does when his arms glow, they eventually reach a large chamber-like area that has the shadow icons of all of Ben's unlocked aliens. The machines start touching the icons and blue, hi-tech-looking lines appear all over the chamber and on the icons, making lightning surge all over the place. The camera then zooms out rapidly until it leaves the Omnitrix.
The Omnitrix kept beeping and surging energy until it fired out green rays all around, zapping nearby people as Rex and Bobo quickly took cover behind a pillar. Once the rays died down, Cannonbolt changed back to Ben as he sat up with a groan. "Ohh..." "Wait! The monster was that kid from before? But I thought..." Rex spoke out as Bobo added. "Huh... Guess he's not an EVO after all." "Wha... What happened?" Ben wondered as he looked around, spotting some people, groaning as they looked like they were having stomach aches and headaches. "Are you guys okay?" The boy asked, only to his shock, they transformed before his very eyes!
The people have been transformed into Ben's aliens! Except they were all wearing different clothes as both boys gasped at the turn of events. "What happened?! Why am I covered in fur?!" A woman cries out in the form of a female Tear-Wolf as one guy, now Four Arms stumbles around. "Whoa! Where did these extra arms come from?! Whoa! Losing my balance!" The guy fell on his back as one person as XLR8, keeps running all over the place. "How do I stop!?" One person, who is Heatblast runs around in a panic. "I'm on fire! I'm on fire! Somebody call the fire department!"
"What is going on?!" Ben asked as he was not sure what was happening. "What happened to you?!" Ben asked the Omnitrix as is not sure if this was a glitch or a new feature. But just then, the Omnitrix beeps green, only to glitch again as Ben holds his arm in pain! "What the?! No!" The alien device then fires out more green rays into the skies as Rex and Bobo are in awe. The beams start hitting people all over the city as one by one, they transform into different aliens from Ben's roaster!
The Rainbooms were chatting with each other as they exited Pinkie's diner. Only to be shocked by the green rays and see the transforming people, running around in panic and confusion. "What in thunderation is going on?!" Applejack asked as Rainbow pondered out. "And why are all the people getting turned into aliens?!" "Is it a new fashion trend? Should I be designing something based on this?!" Rarity panics as Twilight calms the fashion designer down. "I don't think this is normal, Rartiy. But this is odd."
"Wait a minute...'" Sunset said as she observed around her. "Green energy streaming in the sky, citizens turning into aliens from the Omnitrix..." The girl ponders as he realizes something as she gains a furious look. "BEN!" "Oh... It's Ben! Yeah, totally knew that." Pinkie nodded with crossed arms as Sunset felt her face turn red.
Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location of the city, the streams of energy kept mutating people as someone, hiding in an alleyway, noticed as he looked up in awe and confusion. "What is this?" The person reveals himself to be Dr. Animo, who broke out of jail a few days ago. The mad scientist is confused and in awe of the events he is witnessing as he notices one stream of energy about to hit him! Thinking quickly, he grabs a metal container off his being and uses it as a shield, managing to capture the energy as he seals it up. Animo gazed at the energy inside as he breathed out. "Fascinating... Very fascinating indeed..."
He looks up at the people in panic and confusion about their new forms while the doctor then spots a large radio antenna on a nearby building, looking between the 3 objects and he gets an idea. He smirks and chuckles. "Well, looks like I have a new experiment to conduct." He then went off to put his new plan into action.
Back with Ben, the kid looks around at all the chaos as he holds his frizzing Omnitrix, whirling back at Rex with a glare. "What did you do to my Omnitrix?!" "I... I don't know! Maybe I can-" "No, Rex!" Bobo stopped his bud as he spoke to him. "We can't stay! 'You know who' can show up any minute." "But... This happened because of me!" "We got to look out for ourselves, kid. Let the monsters take each other out.' Bobo responds as he runs into the museum.
But Rex stood as he looked back at Ben for a few seconds and then ran after Bobo. But this hasn't gone unnoticed by Ben! "Wait! Robot boy! Come back here!" He runs up the steps, but when he gets to the top, he loses sight of Rex. "Great! What else can go wrong?!" Only for him to hear something as he looks around and then up, only for his eye to bulge as he exclaims. "WHAT THE HAY SEEDS?!
From out of the skies came a huge white and grey, hi-tech futuristic flagship came out of the clouds above and then deployed a smaller ship that lowered itself to in front of the Museum. "Me and my big mouth..." Ben groans as he facepalms, cursing himself for jinxing himself. Just then, he noticed that the ship's doors were opening as the kid squints to get a better look. Out steps a man who is fit and looks serious. He has dark brown hair in a buzzcut and a soul patch. He wears a pair of sunglasses and a battle suit colored with different shades of green.
The person leaps out of the ship as he scans the area. "Multiple EVO contacts confirmed." He then deployed a couple of strange, collapsible blades as Ben realized what he was going to do! "WAIT! NO! Those aren't monsters, they're people! Although technically, they're now aliens." Ben adds out the last part quietly to himself as he ponders. The man noticed Ben but quickly saw the confused aliens were trying to swarm him, but in an amazing display of combat and peak human strength, he managed to incapacitate them without seriously hurting them.
The man then leaps near Ben as the boy yips in surprise. "Have you been contaminated?" "What? No! I just got my shots before Summer started." Ben responds with a confused look as the man speaks in an earpiece. "Secure the perimeter. Targets are heading your way." "Copy that, Six. But I'm also getting strange readings in your area and it seems to be right next to you. Do you see anything out of the ordinary?" Dr. Holiday asked over the radio as the man pondered that.
Ben's Omnitrix surges again as the kid cries out, and the man notices. "What is wrong with you?! Ever since that kid messed with you, you've been acting crazy!" Ben frowns at the Omnitrix as it displays different aliens, only for the icons to be all frizzy. "Possible contamination source confirmed Dr. Holiday. In constant and bringing him in." Ben then points out. "Look, if you want to know who started this whole mess Mr... Uhh?" "Agent Six." Six answers Ben as the boy nods and points behind him with his thumb. "Okay, Mr. Six, if want to know who caused this, it was that kid with the robot arm sword and talking chimp, who went that way, by the way."
"Wait! Chimp? Sword arm? Providence, this an Omega-Event! Prepare contingencies while I try to contain this. All units, engage! Dr. Holiday, Rex, and his chimp have been confirmed to be in this city! Begin tracking of the 2." "Roger, Six. Just remember to make sure Rex is not harmed at all. Can you please bring them in without doing that?" "I'll try, doc. All right, now we-" Six stops and notices Ben is gone! He looks around, wondering where the boy went off to.
Meanwhile, the Omnitrix-wielding 10-year-old is flying through the streets on his hoverboard, which he brought along as Grey Matter, and Twilight was able to modify it to make it small enough to fit in one's pocket and able to grow back to normal size. But as Ben rides through the streets, he looks around to see all the people as aliens, even some flying over his head as Astrodactyl and Ghostfreak. "It's like the Omnitrix's greatest hits live! Every single person in Canterlot is going alien. Wait, what if this affects Equestria too?" Ben ponders as he wonders if the streams his watch emitted reached the portal and started turning ponies and who knows what else into aliens too!
But before the kid do anything, his phone rang and he went to answer it. "Hello? Grandpa? Not a good time to talk right now! I got my hands full with something big!" "I know. That's why I'm calling, Ben. We're enjoying a trip down in Florida, when..." "When we saw the news, doofus!" Gwen took over as Ben frowned at his cousin's insult. "What are you talking about, Dweeb?!" "Look for yourself, Ben!"
The kid notices a TV store as he stops and looks to see a news report. "This is an urgent news update on the current crisis! Across cities in the mid-western states, reports are coming in of people in those areas turning into what eyewitnesses are confirming to be 'grotesque monsters', ramping through the streets. Scientists are still baffled as to what has caused this and are unsure of how to solve this. In response to this, SWAT Teams are called in to try and cage and contain the creatures to figure out a course of action. More details at 3."
Ben blinked with wide eyes at what he saw, shocked to see the Omnitrix'x malfunction was bigger than he thought if it managed to reach the towns and cities around Canterlot. "Oh, man!" "Yeah! People all over those towns and cities are turning into your aliens! What on earth did you do to the watch, bonehead?!" "Hey, I didn't do it this time, honest!" Ben frowns back at his cousin. Only for him to get another caller. "Hang on, I'm getting another call."
He answers and sees it's from Sunset. "Sunset?" "Hey, Ben. Can you calmly explain... Why people are TURNING INTO YOUR ALIENS?!" The teen girl screams in her phone as the kid flinches and holds the cell away as he feels like his ear is ringing. "Oh... You noticed already, huh? Well, before you assume anything, I swear I didn't break the watch, this time!" "Then how did this happen, then?! Huh?!" Sunset barks out.
Just then, Ben got another caller and answered. "Hello?" "Hey, Dweeb! Care to explain why everyone on the streets is now aliens that came straight from your watch?!" "Wait! Kevin?!" Ben asked in confusion as his rival was calling his cell number, to which he also heard him fighting in the background as well. "How did you get my number?" "Oh! Your aunts gave it to me when I asked them to call you, instead, they gave it to me, just before they got zapped and turned into your Wildfire and Undertow." "Heatblast and Overflow." Ben corrects with a roll of his eyes.
"Wait! Kevin, is that you?" "Gwen!? You're calling too?!" But Ben just pretends to gag in disgust as he can already imagine Kevin blushing at his dorky cousin. Sunset then spoke out in a confused tone. "Wait. Celestia and Luna just gave you Ben's cell number like that? That's weirdly coincidental." Ben merely raised an eyebrow at the comment.
Just then, one of Six's swords stabbed itself into the ground, near Ben. The boy stumbles a bit and brings his hoverboard to a stop as he blinks at the blade and glances to the side to see Six, standing on top of a truck with a frown. "Sorry, guys! Gotta go! Smell you later, Kevin, Gwen!" He quickly hangs up and stuffs his phone in his pocket. "What was that for?!" "To keep you from running away. Your weapon is an unknown device that is the central point of this mass EVO creation event, which is why my goal is to recover and disable it."
Ben frowns as he pockets his board. "Great... Another guy after the watch, huh? Well, forget it!" Ben activates the Omnitrix, rotates the dial, and picks Shock Rock's icon, slapping down on the device. FLASH
Ben felt blue energy and rocks emerge from the watch as it sank into his arm. The rocks then travel up the kid's arm as lightning surges around it as they engulf his head and he shuts his eyes. The rocks formed his new head and he flashed open his eyes as lightning came from it. His body became energy as the rocks formed around his chest and shoulders and spikes popped out of his shoulders as his legs gained rock coating as well. He then spins around and faces the 4th wall, slamming his fists together as lightning surges around them. He pulls his fists apart as electricity arcs between them as he poses, ready to rock!
"Shock Rocking' 'n' 'rolling! Yeah!" Shock Rock smirks. He then enlarges his hands and grabs and rips a tree out of the ground, swinging it like a club. Six charges at I'm as the alien throws the tree at him, but the man leaps over it. "This is how you try to convince me you're not a threat?" "Sometimes, I don't plan things well." The alien shrugs as Six tackles him, sending him sliding back.
The alien recovers and creates 2 energy swords and swings them as Six dodges. Shock Rock then tries an overhead strike, but Six is quicker and leaps over and then throws him over his being, sending Shock Rock crashing into a music store as the alien notices the damage. "Oh, great! As if I was in enough trouble already! Grandpa and my aunts are going to kill me if they find out about this!" Shock Rock limbers out of the store as he sees Six has his swords at ready.
"Make it easy on yourself and surrender! Providence would prefer you in one piece." The 2 circles each other as Shock Rock responds to Six. "Look. I don't who this Providence guy is, but tell him no thanks!" The alien fires an energy blast as Six deflects it and leaps behind to kick Shock Rock away. "Ow... You don't miss leg days, do you?" The alien asked as Six explained while brushing some dust off his shoulder. "Providence is an organization, designed specifically to contain extinction-level events before they happen." "Well, if you're the good guys, then how come you let that kid break my watch in the 1st place, huh!? Wait! Did you say 'extinction'? Like 'dead like the dinosaurs' extinction?"
"Yes! Which is why I have to contain you and your EVO generator 1st. Then I'll deal with Rex." "Hey! I'm no "EVO", dude! I'm an alien! Well, 10 kinds of aliens, and counting!" Shock Rock smirks as he twirls and makes an energy scythe as Six scoffs. "You expect me to believe that? You are a liability with that device, even more than Rex." But Six ducks underneath a swipe as Shock Rock swings his weapon around, even tearing up the ground as Six dodges and leaps away.
Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched by Animo, who had managed to use some stolen tech to set up a makeshift base at the base of the radio tower. He observed the 2 fighting on security camera footage that he hacked into as he smirked. "Yes... How right you are, Mr. Six. A liability, whose own powers will be the undoing for that brat, Ben Tennyson! And this here will be the key to his said falling." Animo smirks at the container containing the Omnitrix energy as he makes a new trans-modulator helmet, only it looks more like a transmitter.
Back with the 2, Six then tackles Shock Rock as they land near the mall's parking lot. Six throws his blades at the alien, who counters with a shield to block them. He then knocks them away, only for the dreaded time-out warning to happen! "Not now! I'm begging you!" FLASH Ben looks at himself and sighs. "Figures..." "Playtime is over..." Six said as he towered over Ben. "You want to play, huh?!" Startled by the new voice, the 2 look up to see Rex swinging his sword arm down between the 2, sending Six back. Rex stands near Ben as the Omnitrix kid blinks.
"That's the guy! He's the one who whacked out my watch and ran away!" Ben points out, just as Bobo comes up behind him and explains. "We were running away, which was a great idea. But "Mr. Guilty Conscience" changed his mind!" "Good!" All eyes turn to a recovered Six as he orders Rex. "Stop fighting and stand down so you don't cause any more damage!" Rex orders Ben as he holds his sword up. "Get out of here, kid!" "The name's Ben! And you don't tell me what to do!"
But Rex ignores him and cries out, charging and swinging at Six as the man dodges as he drop kicks Rex. Ben tries to dial up another alien, but the Omnitrix still glows red as he grunts in annoyance. Six blocks strike after strike as he pushed Rex on his back and stomped his foot on the kid's chest, pinning him down. "Under Providence protection, you will make a perfect assiant." "I'm not an assistant! Now get off!" Rex managed to push the boot off him as Six's glasses shined. "I can't do that. I always deliver. And Dr. Holiday wants you, Rex. You and your chimp." "Well, tell 'Dr. Holiday', I'm not going!" FLASH
Ben felt fur going on his arms as his teeth became razor sharp while dog ears appeared on his head and a small tail popped out of the base of his spine. His nails became claws as he grew bigger and his clothes transformed, he pumps his arms and then roars, grinning as he poses.
"Step away from the robot and his monkey!" Tear-Wolf hollers out as he pounces and tries to pound Six, who manages to leap backward and avoid the fist as Tear-Wolf growls. Rex corrects the alien husky. "I'm not a robot. I just got Nanites in my body." "Don't correct the giant fur rug when he's helping us!" Bobo states as Six dodges under Tear-Wolf's claw swipes. Six leaps up and strikes from above, but Tear-Wolf quickly blocks with his shield arms as the alien mumbles as Rex stands back up. "This guy is no joke!" "Yeah, he is! He's the sixth deadliest man on the planet!" "No kidding? He didn't make the top 5?" Tear-Wolf jokes as Six radios in. "Both targets in position. All units converge! And we can end this, here."
On cue, the ship from before shows up as tons of Providence soldiers come down on wires, landing in a circle around the 2 kids and chimp as they all sport blasters and aim at the 3. As the 3 looked around them, Tear-Wolf asked Rex. "What do we do now, Rex?" "Well, usually Bobo and I would run, but we're surrounded. What about you?" "Well, I usually break things until either Twilight or Gwen comes up with something better." Rex raised an eyebrow in response. "Are Twilight and Gwen monkeys?" Tear-Wolf blinks as his face twitches and then bursts out laughing. "BAHAHAHAHA! OH, MAN! I so wish they heard that! They would lose their minds and flip! Rex, watch out!"
But Tear-Wolf's warning came too late Rex charges but gets caught in a net launched by a couple of soldiers. "You guys just mess with the wrong-" BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP Tear-Wolf glanced down at the badge in horror. "SERIOUSLY!?" FLASH "Aw, man!" Ben groans as he looks at his now human body. He then saw 2 more soldiers tower over him. "Uhh... I don't suppose we just talk this over?"
But just then, a fireball lands between the 2 as they flinch, making Six look up and cry out. "INCOMING!" They all look up to see a Heatblast, flying above and throwing fireballs at the soldiers. They dodge the flaming projectiles as Six hollers out. "Open fire!" The soldiers fire nets and tranquilizers, only for the alien to burn them as an Overflow and Astrodactyl joins in, attacking the humans as well. "What the?! What's going on?! Why are my aliens now attacking people!?" Ben asked in confusion at what he was seeing.
Ben is not sure what caused the aliens to suddenly act aggressive, only to notice they now sport red glowing eyes. "Wait... Their eyes weren't glowing before, last I checked. So, why are they glowing now?" Ben ponders as he looks around for some sort of clue. He then spots the radio tower, generating red waves of energy as he looks between the 2 and figures it out. "That radio tower! it must be somehow, brainwashing all the people! But why would it do that? Wait! What's that?" Ben then noticed something by the tower, but it was hard to make it out in the distance.
He then noticed a knocked-down soldier near him and spotted a pair of hi-tech binoculars that had fallen out of his belt. "Mind if I borrowed these? Thanks!" Ben swipes the gadget as he looks through them, focusing on the tower. Zooming in, he spotted someone he was familiar with. "Dr. Animo?! I thought he was locked up?! How did he get out?!" Ben then took another look and saw him wearing another trans-modulator, only it looked like it was broadcasting the red energy waves. He noticed the wires were hooked up to a canister that contained one of those strange green waves that came from the watch. "What is that?"
But just then, Ben was suddenly tackled out of the way of a shock blast that almost nailed him! The kid recovers and notices Bobo helping him up. "Can we both agree to put the past behind us and kick comment butt for now?" "Deal! Let's de-net your kid and get some help!" Ben states as he realizes that maybe an alliance with Rex and Bobo is the best course of action for the moment. The 2 went over and freed Rex as the trio tried to run away, leaping and turning all over as Providence soldiers were fighting aliens all over the place.
But just as the 3 were stopped by soldiers, some aliens knocked them away as they approached the trio. Ben spoke out. "Okay! Going to need a plan B, fast!" Luckily, the Omnitrix timed back in as Bobo noticed. "What does the green light mean?" "Green means go!" FLASH
Ben felt the watch sinks into his skin and veins grow all over his arm and travel up to his head as he shuts his eyes. He then flashed them open and they became all green as his skin turned blue with black markings on his face. He then felt his body become taller, slimmer, and streamlined as a long tail grew out of the base of his spine and black orbs appeared between his changed toes and feet. He then spun around and then shut his visor and posed, ready to run!
"Hang tight, you 2!" XLR8 said as he grabbed the boy and his chimp and shut his visor. "Cause I've got the need for speed!" He dashed off, zipping past the aliens and agents as Animo noticed the blur as it left the city. The madman smirks as he calls out. "You can run, Tennyson! But you can't hide from yourself!"
Rex and Bobo scream as XLR8 speeds through the streets at high speeds, eventually coming to his house as he bursts through the front door and comes to a stop. "Nail the landing..." Bobo groans as XLR8 sets them down and speeds around the place, closing windows and blinds and shutting and locking the door as he times out. "There! Lost them... For now." Ben mumbled as he went towards the living room and saw Rex was already sitting on the couch, looking down at himself as Ben sat down on the other end of the couch.
The Omnitrix-wielding boy explains. "Figured we can lay low here until we figure something out. I'm sure my friends are out looking for me, you know how that is." The boy shrugs, but Rex just looks away. "Know how it is? Not so much for me..." "Okay..." Ben answers, not sure how to feel about Rex's answer. He then grabs the remote. "Wonder how things are looking now?"
Ben turns on the TV to the news as the woman reporter speaks in her microphone. "This is a major update on the current alien crisis! Recently the humans that have been transformed are now attacking the city of Canterlot in a strange turn of events. In related news, a man, now identified as a former scientist and now escaped convict, Dr. Alyoisus James Animo. The veterinarian-turned-terrorist has been reported to be the one behind the attacks and we are still unclear on what his demands are. Mayor Mare is currently unavailable at the moment to address the situation, due to her transformation as well, as seen on the footage." Footage is then shown of the mayor's office with a press conference, only when the chair turns around to reveal a female Shock Rock as she growls and attacks the camera.
Ben shuts off the TV as he breaths out., "Oh, man... Animo has an army of me... This is crazy..." Bobo is in the kitchen, rummaging through the cabinets for food and snacks as he speaks to the 2 kids. "At least they ain't EVOs..." "Okay! Can someone tell me what the heck is an 'EVO'? Because apparently, I've been called that all day!" Ben exclaims as Bobo comes out of the kitchen while munching on some chips. "Come on! Ain't it obvious? Exponentially Variegated Organisms!" "Okay...?" Ben raised an eyebrow in response, not sure how to answer.
"See, when Nanites inside people and living things activate and infect them, turns them into mindless monsters," Rex explains to Ben. "I'm the only one who can not only control my Nanites but also cure other EVOs... Sort of." Ben then ponders what Rex said. "Hey... Didn't I hear a radio report about these 'Nanites' that were involved with some explosion in a foreign country lab?"
Rex nods at what Ben stated. "Yep! The 'Nanite Event'. That accident released billions of Nanites all over the globe, infecting every living thing on the planet. Most people don't know it until their Nanites activate at random." "Great! So, you're telling me I got those machines in my body now!? Terrific!" Ben slumps at the fact that he's going to turn into a monster any moment now. "Actually, you don't have to worry about you or anyone going EVO in this city..." Rex explains as Bobo takes over.
"According to Providence, for some weird reason, this city and everyone in it is Nanite-free, even after the event. It's like something replied the Nanites away from here for some odd reason. Of course, the reason the kid wanted to come here is that he was picking up a single Nanite here in the city before all this crazy stuff happened." Bobo states as he shoves some food in Rex's hands. "According to them, just as the event took place, some sort of energy field something replied them. Do you something about it?"
Ben ponders about what the 2 said and realizes one thing: Equestria Magic must have somehow blocked the Nanites from infecting the people in the city! "No idea! Honest!" Ben knew that was a big lie, but he took his protection of the secrets of Equestria seriously, especially if this 'Providence' organization was here, hunting down 'EVOs'. He hates to imagine what will happen if they discover the portal. Ben then realizes something as he twists his Omnitrix towards Nanomech's icon.
"I think I know why you're here, Rex. You see this guy?" Ben shows the alien as Rex studies it. "What is it?" "This is Nanomech, an alien that comes from a Nanite. Long story short, the watch detected those Nanites and made Nanomech out of them. My friends kept making me turn into Nanomech more times than usual, so I guess this whole mess is their fault." "That would explain some things..." Rex comments as Bobo adds out. "In the meantime, that crazy old man with a tinfoil hat on his head is controlling an army of you, somehow."
Ben frowns as he explains to the 2. "Dr. Animo. A former animal scientist who went crazy, trying to mutate them to win a trophy. I put him away before, but now he's back for revenge. And now, thanks to my busted watch, he started an extinction event, bringing that Providence organization here. What's their deal, anyway?" Ben asked, wanting to more about the organization as Bobo was more than happy to explain.
"Providence is the reason you never heard of EVOs before. Ever since the Nanite Event, they've been taking care and cleaning up EVOs that pop up, now and then. And make sure word doesn't get out as well. So, they keep the public calm, 'cause if word gets out that everyone on the planet has micromachines inside them that turn them into monsters... Well, it won't be pretty." "Well, that explains everything." Ben frowns.
"So, what's the story about you 2 and that Six guy? Seems like you all know each other." Ben asked as Bobo explained. "Well, believe it or not, Rex is a victim, too! See, Rex's parents were part of the Nanite Project, but we both don't know much since after the event, something caused us both to lose all memories before the event. Providence found us both, lurking around the remains of the lab, and since they found out about the kid's powers, wanted to stick us in a cell, so we stuck it to them! Been on the run, ever since, trying to outwit Six and his goons." Bobo went back to the kitchen.
Ben can't help but feel bad for Rex after all he's been through. "Do you remember anything about your family at all, Rex?" "Not really... Just bits and parts... All I can recall is my folks telling me to run and that's it. Providence thinks I'm a dangerous freak because of my Nanites... Maybe they're right?" Rex feels so downcasted as Ben has a sad look. "Look, I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot when we first met. If you managed to save me from the 6th most dangerous dude on the planet, then maybe I can help you out as well."
"How? Isn't your watch roasted?" Rex asked as Ben glanced at the glitching Omnitrix. 'Yeah... But if it still allows me to transform, then maybe there's hope we can undo all of this! And If I had known you and your monkey buddy were starving from all that running, I would have gotten you some food, instead of you trying to steal mine." Rex blinks in surprise as he looks at Ben. "You really would?" The boy smiles and nods to Rex. "And I know my friends would help you out as well." "Friends... Don't think me and Bobo had those before, at all."
"Well, you can start with me. Just trust me." Ben smiles as he holds out his hand as Rex looks at it, unsure of himself. But as he looks at Ben's smiling face and back at the outstretched hand, he slowly reaches out, and then grabs it, shaking with Ben. "I'll... Give it a shot." "All right!" Ben let go as he spoke out and stood up. "First things first: We have to stop Animo from brainwashing everyone, then we can focus on fixing the watch after." "Okay... But where do we find him?" Rex asked as Bobo peeks out from the kitchen. Ben looked down in thought and then got an idea as he smiled.
Ben, now in the form of Astrodactyl, soars through the skies, maneuvering through the city skies and tall buildings while avoiding any other aliens as well. "How are you doing back there?" The alien hero asked as behind him was Rex and Bobo, flying on Ben's hoverboard. Although the 2 are struggling to stay straight and keep up. "Could have been better... Whoa! But, I think I'm starting to get the hang of this... I think!" "Better be a movie on this flight!" Bobo adds as he holds onto Rex.
The trio then arrives at a rooftop as Astrodactyl lands and times out back to Ben, just as Rex floats above, only to lose his balance as he and Bobo fall and crash on top of Ben! "WHOA!" "GAH!" "OOF!" The three groaned as they all were in a pile. Ben weakly lifted his head with a pained look. "Yeah... Going to need to teach you on stopping and getting off... Ow..." They managed to untangle themselves and crack their bones, getting all the kinks and aches out. "Yeah... Going to need to learn that." Rex groans as Bobo frowns at Ben. "Where did you get your flying license, kid? A cereal box?"
But Ben just ignores Bobo as he crawls up to the ledge and peeks over it as Rex and Bobo do the same. They spot Animo by the radio tower as Ben speaks out. "Okay... As far as I can tell, Animo is somehow using energy from my watch to brainwash everyone in the city to follow his orders." "Thanks for the recap, Captain Obvious. Now, how do we stop that cuckoo doctor?" Bobo asked.
Rex ponders that as well as he spots the radio tower generating red energy waves. "If that tower is acting like a broadcast signal to brainwash all the transformed people, then maybe if we destroy the tower, they will stop and snap out of it." "Hmm... That could work, Rex! After that, we focus on fixing the watch." Ben points out the glitching watch, only for the 3 to hear something behind them as they glance back to see some aliens behind, looking to attack them.
"But first, how about you 2 deal with these guys! Because I don't think they're here to play pattycake!" Bobo frowns as Ben gets to dialing. "On it!" He slaps down on the watch and turns into Lodestar, who then sends out magnetic waves onto the roof that manage to make the metal wiring burst out of the ground, much like snakes, and use them to entangle the aliens.
He then waved his arms around as he levitated some nearby metal objects and magnetized them to the aliens, pinning them down. "There! Out of the way and out of danger." "I didn't know you have a magnet guy or can do that." "Yeah... Neither can I. I've got to start using Lodestar a bit more." Lodestar answers Rex. "Everyone, stand down!" Startled by the voice, they glanced up to see the Scout ship hovering above as Six and his men swoop down on ropes and surround the trio.
"Jeeze! These guys again?! I'm starting to understand why you 2 keep running from them." Lodestar comments as Bobo speaks out. "I told you we should run from Six, but no! You want to stay and fix this!" "Not the best time for a lecture, Bobo..." Rex gives the stink eye to his monkey. "While you 3 were busy playing around, the EVO infection has reached cataclysmic levels in this area and the other affected areas in the nearby towns and cities! We are now initiating clean-up operations!"
Lodestar just scratched his head in confusion. "Wait... So, we're doing laundry and washing dishes now? How is that going to fix the city?" But Bobo is really worried as he knows what they mean by 'clean-up operations'! "Not that kind of clean-up, kids! He's talking about 'scorching the Earth and flatting every living being' clean-up! They're going to wipe out Canterlot and all those other cities and towns that got turned into aliens to prevent more infections!" "WHAT?!" Both Lodestar and Rex cried out in horror as they gazed up in the skies to see the bigger ship, hovering above the city hall.
They noticed the ship deploying a large cannon on the front while deploying a huge bomb from underneath, ready to drop it at the push of a button. "You can't do this! These are people!" Rex exclaims as Lodestar adds out. "And this is my summer home and my friends and family are in it!" "We can fix this!" Rex gestures as Six scoffs. "You 2 couldn't work together before. What makes you think you can do it, now? Come with me, or get wiped out! Your choice!"
Lodestar frowns as he glances back at the hypnotized people and the laughing Animo. Rex notices as they both stare at each other for quite a while and they both nod with determination. "Maybe we didn't have a good reason, before. But now we do!" The alien hero declares as Rex points at the tower. "That man, Animo! He is the reason why all the people are attacking! Me and Ben can stop him, Six! We just need a chance!"
But before Six can deny them, Dr. Holiday speaks to him via his earpiece. "Six, listen!" "Not now, Dr. Holiday. Busy with something." But just then, Six's watch beeps as it displays a hologram screen of a woman that is in her mid-20s with green eyes, lipstick, and long black hair that goes to her mid-back with a swept bang to the left. She is wearing a white lab coat. "No! You will listen! Rex and Ben are telling the truth! I did some scans on that machine that Animo made and realized it matches the same frequency as the infected people are emitting. If Rex and Ben can destroy it, it will disrupt the mind control and free the people, then they can work on curing them."
Both boys can't help but notice how pretty the woman in the hologram is. "Wow... That's Dr. Holiday? Maybe Providence isn't so bad after all." "Yeah... Now that's a doctor I wouldn't mind getting a check-up with." Lodestar adds to Rex's statement as they both have goofy grins while Bobo frowns and facepalm at the 2. "Oh vey... These 2 are our last hope to save this city?! We're doomed..."
The 2 snap out of it at Six's voice. "Yes... But that's a big 'if', Dr. Holiday. And I'm not going to just-" "Wait!" All eyes turned towards Lodestar as he spoke out. "If we managed to stop Animo and free the people, you'll stop the whole 'clean-up' thing, right? That's what she's saying?" "Yes... But that's a big if." Six answers as Rex spoke out. "Then... Give us a chance, then! That's all we need! We can prove we can fix this!"
"Six..." The man glanced at Dr. Holiday as she had a pleading look. "Listen to Rex... He's trying to help for real." For what seems like a long time, everyone waits for an answer from the 6th deadliest man on the planet. "...One chance. You have 30 minutes to stop this Animo and cure this alien infection." "That's all we need!" Lodestar nods as Rex does the same. The alien then made a piece of metal float like a hoverboard as the 3 got on and rode to confront Animo as Six watches.
"All units, subdue the aliens, but leave Rex and his allies alone, they're taking on the source. And delay clean-up operations for T-Minus 30 minutes and counting." The man orders his radio as he gets confirmation from the other agents. "Huh? If I didn't know any better, I say the 6th deadliest man on the planet has a bit of a soft spot?" Holiday smirks as the man just ignores her.
"Yes... Yes, my army! Grow! Expend! Soon, the world will tremble at my name as it goes down in history!" "Yeah! For being a total lunatic with a big mouth!" Animo whirls back as he ducks under a piece of metal flung at him and snarls at the trio of Ben, Rex, and Bobo.
"Tennyson! I should have known you would come. But, I should thank you... Whatever you did to unleash your transformations has helped me, greatly. I never it would be possible to mind-control so many mutated people before... But even I amazed myself! Thanks to this canister, containing your watch's special energy, I was able to link it up with all the citizens who share the same alien DNA they now possess. And this is only the beginning! Once I'm done with Canterlot, I'll move on to the next city that is also mutated. And the next one and the next one, until everyone in the United States is under my control as an alien! The world will be my science lab to experiment on! HAHAHAHAH!"
But Bobo and Rex just blinked as the chimp crossed his arms with a smirk. "Wow... Did that creep with the ugliest face ever, really just tell us what he's going to do and his source of power? What a doofus!" "Yeah! He sure likes to ramble, doesn't he?" Rex smirks as Ben grins with crossed arms. "I call it 'monologing', but yeah, Animo just loves to hear himself talk."
But Animo snarls at the 2 kids as he calls out. "ENOUGH! I will not have my plans stopped by kids, again! And just to make sure..." He twisted the dial on his chest as he fired a reanimation beam from his helmet at a certain T-Rex skeleton nearby. "I had my new minions bring this familiar fossil from the museum, just in case!" The bones soon grew fleas while bits of it remained bones as the Zombie T-Rex roars upon returning. "Oh, man! Not this thing, again!" Ben groans out with wide eyes as Rex and Bobo are shocked.
"That's right, Tennyson! And he's been itching for a rematch! Destroy them, my pet!" Animo orders as the zombie dinosaur roars as it stomps towards the trio. "Whoa! Big dinosaur!" Rex cries out as he makes his sword and intercepts, pushing hard as the zombie T-Rex pushes as well, trying to eat the young EVO. Bobo comes to the rescue as he runs up on Rex's sword, leaps onto the zombie T-Rex's eye, and starts punching it. "How do you like this, you undead pile of bones!?"
As the beast stumbles back, Ben runs up towards Animo but quickly dodges a red beam from the mad doctor as he cries out. "Animo! You need to stop this! If you keep trying to take control of people and keep turning them into aliens, you're going to wipe us all out!" "Please! What sort of nonsense are you blabbing about?" Animo scoffs as Ben frowns as he yells. "Because if you don't, they're going to unleash a bomb that's not only going to wipe out the entire city but us along with it, including you!" "Do you think I'm stupid enough to fall for that!? Nonsense! With my new army, I'm invincible!"
The Zombie T-Rex shook off Bobo and grabbed Rex in its mouth by his shirt as he struggled and brought the kid to a smirking Animo. "And this child and his amazing biology did it all for me! Perhaps after I'm done taking over the city, I can dissect you as well to figure out what makes your powers tick! And I plan to do it as painfully as possible!" The mad doctor gives a toothy grin as Rex struggles. Only for his eyes to snap open as he got a glare.
He felt his anger boiling as the young EVO clutched his fist so hard, it was almost like he was going to break his very bones. "Stop blaming me!" He hollers as his right fist starts glowing blue lines as his Nanites then form into a build, but it is a new one! It was a giant, orange gauntlet that looked like a 3 fingered hand that was clutched into a fist. Ben and Bobo are surprised at what Rex did while Six, who is fighting off more aliens nearby, breaths out with interest. "He's evolving..."
"What?!" Animo cries out as Rex gives a yell and lands a back punch on the T-Rex, making it let go as it cries out in pain. Rex lands and looks at his new limb with a smile and interest as Bobo comes up and nudges his normal arm., "That was one hack of a wallop!" Rex smiles at the chimp and then glares at Animo as the mad doctor tries to run for it, only for Rex to reach out with his new build and open the hand, trying to grab Animo, only for the T-Rex to block the EVO with a roar.
But help came in the form of Ben, who had turned into Four Arms, who threw a huge rock at the dinosaur and knocked it away as the muscle alien noticed Rex's new weapon with a smirk. "Have you been holding out me, dude?" "Believe me! I have no idea how I did this!" "Well, keep doing, it because it looks awesome!" Only for Bobo to speak out. "If we're done patting ourselves on the back with gigantic hands, an entire state needs to be saved!" "Right!" Both Ben and Rex nod.
The trio runs after Animo, chasing him toward the Amphitheater. Only to find the man on stage as it is protected by more mind-controlled aliens. But luckily, Six managed to join them as they stood together. "Stay focused! We need to-" "Yeah, clear a path and take down Animo! Already figured this out from all my battles.' Four Arms points out as the 4 charges and give out cries, except for Six.
The four start beating down aliens left and right using their skills: Four Arms' super strength, Rex's builds, Six's swords and combat skills and Bobo being a monkey. "How much time is left?!" Four Arms asked as he slammed a Tear-Wolf and Overflow together and then threw them at a crowd. "Only a few minutes left!" Six cries as he leaps off a Cannonbolt and goes for Animo, but the Zombie T-Rex shows up and blocks Six as the man grits his teeth. "You fools can't stop Dr. Animo! My army is invincible!" The mad doctor declares with a grin.
"How's this for invincible?!" Rex hollers as he then makes orange and grey, massive super boots on his legs and feet and leaps up and delivers a dropkick on the T-Rex sending it crashing onto its side. Rex lands with a stomp as Four Arms uppercuts a Shock Rock away and then throws some seats at an Astrodactyl. "Nice kick! Those are some Punk Busters! Can I get a pair?!" "Sorry! Don't know how I made them, just did!"
Six leaps onto the stage and goes for Animo, but finds himself sword clashing with a Shock Rock. "You think those crude blades can beat me?! I find it very amusing!" Animo smirks, but Six is not fazed. After clashing and sword fighting for a bit, Six then charges at the Shock Rock, but also putting his 2 blades together as they start acting like a magnet, attracting and carrying several pieces of metal. Six leaps over the alien and disengages his swords, making all the metal fall on top of the energy alien as it is pinned down.
Four Arms saw some XLR8s and Cannonbolts charge at him, only to slam all 4 fists on the ground to send out an earthquake that shook the aliens up and sent them flying. Four Arms then turns around and spots a group of himself charging as he smirks. "Copies, meet the original!" Only to notice his badge beeps as he times out, making him frown at the Omnitrix. "Are you trying to make us lose, badly?!"
But just as Ben noticed the Four Arms were about to crush him, Rex called out from above. "Heads up! I mean, heads down!" Ben covers his head as Rex slams in front and makes a blue shockwave that sends the red-multi-limbed aliens flying. "Sweet! What else can you do?!" "No clue, but I'm going to keep doing it until I get it right!" Just then, Bobo lands near them as he asks. "Is that the last of them?" "Not quite!" Animo grins out as he commands more aliens all over to regroup on him. "Come! My alien army! Destroy Tennyson and his allies!"
The 4 heroes saw more aliens were coming as they realized they couldn't fight them all! But Ben is determined as he speaks to Rex. "Hey, Rex! Let's end this, right here and now!" He holds up his glitching Omnitrix in response, but the EVO is not sure as he retracts his Punk Busters and tells Ben. "I told you, I don't know what I did, or how do I do it!" "But you said you can control your Nanites, right? If you can talk to them, then you can tell them to fix my watch! I mean, you managed to make those Smack hands and Punk Busters with them, right?" Ben asked as he was confident Rex could believe in himself if he was able to make cool new builds.
"Just to let you know, Rex. You have 2 minutes left." Six points out as the EVO glances at Bobo who nods. "We can't run that fast, kid! Even with your fancy new boots!" And as Rex thought about it, he realized that Ben was right! If he can create new machines with his powers, then he can fix the damage to the Omnitrix! "I can do this! Here goes!" Ben holds out the watch as Rex places his hands over it and makes it glow its blue lines.
Inside the watch, the Nanites receive the command from Rex and start retracting from the watch, while at the same time, preparing all the damage they did to the Omnitrix and undoing the the blue tech liens on the alien icons as the camera zooms out rabidly to show the Nanites are leaving the watch.
The watch then glows green and it gives a confirmation beep and sends out green waves that strike the alien army, only now, they are turning human! "YES!" Both kids grin as it is working! One by one, the Omnitrix extracts all the loose alien DNA from the citizens and turns them all back to humans.
Animo looks shocked at what he is seeing, just for one of the waves to strike his equipment and the canister as well. "WHAT?! What is happening?! What are you doing to my army?!" He cries out, only for his transmitter to short out as he gets it off, just for the canister to break and the green energy within got sucked back into the watch while the fried helmet sends out a red wave, like before as the green energy spreads all over the city and then across the state.
In the Rust Bucket in Floridia, Max, Ken and Gwen were watching the news as they saw all the aliens were changing back to normal. the cousins high-fived each other with smiles as Max nodded with a smile. "Way to get it done, Ben."
In another part of the city, Kevin, as Savage, skids back as he is fighting 10 aliens at a time as the mutant alien groans. "Come on! I can keep going all day if I want to!" But just then, he noticed the green waves as they hit the aliens, turning them back into Spike, the Rainbooms, Celestia, and Luna. "Ohh... Does anyone feel like they rode the Wild Blue Yonder, 10 times?" Rainbow groans as Fluttershy notices Pinkie is out. She picks her up and sees the party girl's eyes swirling. "Waiter... There's an Omnitrix in my soup..." "Anyone else feels like their bottoms are on backward or is it me?" Rarity groans.
"What happened? Where am I?" Luna asked as she got a packing look. "Oh, no! Don't tell this is 1998, all over again!?" "I think... Those nachos from the diner have gone bad..." Her sister moans as Spike feels like he's going to throw up. Twilight notices and quickly helps the puppy toward a trash bin, to which the dog relives his stomach's contents. Savage noticed more people turning back into aliens as he smirked. "Well, what do you know... The dweeb did it... Which means he owes me, big!"
"NO! NOOO!" Animo cries out in dismay at seeing all the people turning back into aliens as his plans crumble while his Zombie T-Rex once again reverts to its fossil form and falls apart. Six radios in. "Cancel the air support! The infection has been contained and reversed! Repeat: Situation has been contained!" "Roger that!" Six glanced up to see the Keep retracting the weapons and bomb as he spotted Animo trying to make a break for it, only for Providence soldiers to block his path. The mad doctor tries in another direction, only to be cut off by Ben, Rex, and Bobo. "Going somewhere?" Ben smirks.
Just then, Six delivers a surprise punch that knocks Animo out. As the soldiers contain and cuff Animo, the kids glance at the radio tower to see Animo's machine is still attached to the antennae. "We just need to take care of that thing to finish up. But the watch is still charging after fixing everyone's DNA. Rex, any ideas?" Ben asked the EVO as he glanced at the antennae and then got an idea as he nodded. "I do! Stand back!" He runs up ahead and stops, focusing his Nanites, and spreads it to his left arm. "Every hero has their first day... And this is mine!"
Rex then creates a giant orange and silver projectile cannon that he rests on his left shoulder, much like a rocket launcher. A maw on the back end of the build opens up and then digs into the ground, scooping up solid ground as Rex lowers his goggles over his eyes and pushes a button on the side of the lens, making a hi-tech targeting system appear as he zooms into the machine and lines up for a shot. He then fires a compressed ball of earth that flies fast and hits the machine, breaking it off without destroying the building. The machine then falls and smashes into the ground hard, breaking into useless junk.
Rex took off his goggles as he cried out. "Bullseye!" "Nice shot, kid! That's a 5-pointer!" Bobo grins as Ben smiles. "Yeah... Nice Slam Cannon, Rex!" "Slam Cannon, huh? I like it!" Res smirks as he retracts his newly-named Slam Cannon.
Animo is loaded onto the scout ship as he struggles and cries out. "You haven't seen the last of Aloysius James Animo!" He hollers as the doors close behind him. The Rainbooms and sisters watch with frowns as the ship takes off. "And don't come back, you big meanie pants!" Pinkie cries out. "Hope that varmint stays locked up this time!" Applejack spoke out. "Yeah... Hopefully." Sunset adds.
Rex is also watching away from the others, standing by a van with Bobo with crossed arms. As the ship took off, Rex spoke out. "So... You going to take us in, or what?" The EVo asked as behind him, and coming out of the shadows of an alleyway was Six with crossed arms as well. 'In consideration of your actions today, I'll give you both a 5-minute headstart. How fast and where you run in that time is up to you. But make no mistake, Rex: If you ever lose control of your powers, I'll be there. Count on it." But Rex smiles and nods in response.
Dr. Holiday shows up via Holgram on Six's watch as she smiles. "Thanks for saving these people, Rex. But you should start running, soon. The countdown is going to begin. Remember: 5 minutes." The woman smirks as Rex nods at her as Bobo speaks out. "Deal! Let's go, Rex!" And so, the 2 sprinted towards the woods that lead out of the city as fast as their legs could carry.
But just then, Rex stops as he spots Ben, standing by his summer home with his hands in his hoodie's pockets. The 2 kids stare at each other and Ben smiles and nods at Rex as the EVO does the same as well. "Clock's ticking!" On his chimp's words, Rex runs into the woods with him and waves bye to Ben as the kid smiles and speaks to himself. "See you later, Rex..."
The next day, Ben is at Applejack's farm. The kid is kicking back underneath a tree and snacking on an apple as he can't help but think as he gazes up. "Something on your mind, Ben?" Applejack asked as she passed by while carrying some apples in a basket. "I'm just thinking about Rex and what he's up to now... Hope he's okay..." "I'm sure he's fine, sugar cube. He's probably in the next state or 2, hiding out from the Providence varmints." The cowgirl smiled as she kept walking as Ben thought about it.
But just as Ben tossed up another apple, he noticed a familiar hairy hand grab it in mid-air. The kid looked up the tree and saw a smiling Rex and Bobo. "Or, we could be right up this tree, farm girl!" The chimp smirks as they both leap down while Ben gets up with a grin. "Rex?! Bobo?! What are you 2 doing back here? I thought you were running from Providence!?" "We are! But we managed to give them the slip for a while. And since Canterlot is a Nanite-free zone, we figure it's the best place to go under for a bit!" The EVO kid explains.
"You 2 chat with each other, while I score some more apples..." Bobo said as he went off as Ben called out. "Just be careful of Applejack! She hates it when animals swipe her apples!" Ben then turns back to Rex as he speaks to him. "So, you want to hang out here more?" "Yep! What do you say?" Rex grins as Ben does the same and they both hi-fived. "Totally! Sweet!" The boys said at the same time as they both chuckled.
But just then, Bobo ran by, carrying a crate that had apple cider and some apple-themed treats in it as well. "Hey, guys! I managed to score big with this box of apple cider and apple sweets! But right now, we need to run!" The chimp took off as Ben and Rex glanced over to see a furious Applejack and her family running towards them with pitchforks and shovels. "YOU NO-GOOD, THIEVING, TWO-TIMING, FLEA-BITTEN, VARMINT! GIVE US BACK OUR APPLE PRODUCTS!" Both boys had wide eyes as Rex asked the alien kid. "Run?" "Run!" Both boys scream as they hi-tail it out of the farm with the angry Apple family on their tails.
And so, for the next few days, Ben and Rex hung out, doing fun kid stuff while helping Rex with his powers and practicing them, with the Rainbooms helping him with his confidence as well as making him feel more comfortable with his builds and his technopath abilities. Rex is enjoying every bit of it because, for the 1st time in his amnesia life, he doesn't have to worry about being chased or hunted down for a while and feels welcomed!
Ben and Rex exited the burger place with 2 bags of food and went toward the park. The kids sat on a bench as they got out their burgers. "Funny, that whole thing of us meeting started with burgers, and now, we're back in the park with burgers, again!" Rex smirks as Ben chuckles. "Yeah... Except this time, there are no lunch thieves around. Bottom's up!" Both boys lick their lips and open wide to take a big bite from their respective sandwiches.
But just then, a boom caught their ears as they glanced over at a street to see some sort of red and white portal appear out of nowhere. The boys decided to eat and investigate as they grabbed their bags and ate their burgers while they went over to investigate. As the 2 watched from a bush while munching on fries, they noticed the portal had gathered a crowd as well, confused about what the portal was and where it came from.
Just then, something emerges from the portal and lands on the street, revealing to be a large, alien robot of some sort that has 4 legs, a single red eye, and 2 long whip-like arms that have red lines on them. The being roars as it slams its arms onto 2 cars, crushing them as the people scream and start running away, just as the kids finish their fries and wash them down with soda. "So much for an enjoyable lunch break." Ben frowns as he blenches as Rex does as well. "Yeah... How about we teach big ugly there some manners?" "You read my mind, dude!" Ben grins as he dials his watch as Rex focuses his nanites.
As the alien machine kept ramping, it noticed a green flash of light nearby and turned around, only for something to slam into it and send it crashing into a storefront. The robot recovers and looks to see Four Arms as he cracks his knuckles. "You're lucky I could finish my lunch, you walking scrap heap! Otherwise, I'd be in a really bad mood!" The robot then dodges a sword strike as Rex appears beside Four Arms. "So, if you don't want to get trashed too badly, I suggest you go back through your portal, now!"
But the machine just stares at Rex, as if it was studying the young EVO. It then charged as the heroes dodged to the side. Rex changes to his Punk Busters and leaps up to stomp on the machine as the being uses a car as a shield to replied Rex, but is left vulnerable when Four Arms, grabs a light pole and swings it like a bat, knocking the machine to it's side as Rex ran up and dropkicks the machine, sending it tumbling near the portal.
"Wow! Literally kicking butt! That's a new twist!" "Heck yeah, it is! HA!" Four Arms grinned as they both hi-fived as they saw the machine slowly recovering. They both nod and charge at it, giving battle cries as Rex makes his Smack Hands and they both land a double punch that sends the robot flying into the portal. "BOO-YAHH!" Yes! Awesome kids: 1! Rampaging robot: 0! Come on, let's go, Ben. I'm meeting up with Bobo before we leave." Rex retracts his build as he starts walking away and Four Arms does the same.
But just then, the tendril arms suddenly shot out of the portal and ensnared the 2, catching them by surprise! "What the?! Hey! Let go!" Four Arms cries as he struggles to get it off him and Rex does the same. The alien gave out a yell as he was dragged into the portal. "BEN! Get... Off... Me!" But as much as Rex struggles, even using his Smack Hands to dig into the ground, all it does is leave drag marks as Rex slowly loses his grip. "AHHHHHH!' Rex yells as he was sucked into the portal as the wormhole closed with a flash of light. Just as that happened, Pinkie was skipping happily down the street and came across the site. Her Pinkie Sense went off as she shuddered. She blinks as she looks at the wreckage. "Ben?"
Inside the red and white vortex, Rex and Four Arms screamed their heads off as they kept falling with the robot as they managed to break free. "WHAT IS GOING ON?! WHERE ARE WE, BEN!?" "I DON'T KNOW, REX! BUT SOMETHING TELLS ME THAT WHEREVER THIS THING LEADS TO, CAN'T BE GOOD!" Rex then yells out. "WELL, I CAN SAY THIS: THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE WEIRDEST DAY EVERRRRRRRRRRRRR!" He hollers as the 2 keep spirling through the vortex and pretty soon come to the other end as they feel their visions have gone white, unsure of what they may encounter on the other side.
