Episode 2: Battle with Krystalak

Krystalak roars in rage and charges at Izuku. Izuku's eyes grow wide.

Izuku: Maybe this wasn't the best idea.

Izuku dodges Krystalak slash. He turns around and sees Krystalak run right at him. Izuku jumps out of the way but Krystalak stops himself and runs at him again. Izuku grabs another car and tosses at Krystalak's face. The kaiju just grabs the car in his mouth and crushes it with its powerful jaws. Izuku gasps and ducks as Krystalak passes right over him. Krystalak runs into a small restaurant and completely destroys it.

Izuku: Oh man, that was my favorite restaurant.

Krystalak quickly gets back up and slashes at Izuku. Izuku notices the attack and evades the attack. Krystalak swipes again and again but Izuku manages to escape each devastating blow. Krystalak roars in annoyance and stomps into the ground which sends parts of the street cracking and breaking apart from each other. Izuku is sent flying back by the impact and lands right on his back. Izuku tries to get back up but struggles to get to his feet. Izuku then feels a large shadow cast itself over him. Izuku looks up and sees Krystalak lift his foot up and come down onto him. Izuku closes his eyes and prepares for his death. Suddenly Izuku feels himself get lifted up and sees the foot come down just inches from him. Strangely Krystalak becomes smaller and smaller in a matter of seconds. Izuku then realizes that he's moving away from the kaiju. He turns his head to the left and sees Iida's face as he is being carried by Iida. Izuku smiles in disbelief.

Izuku: Iida!

Iida: When you see a giant foot coming down Midoriya, it's probably best to move out of the way.

Iida speeds up as Krystalak roars behind them. But rather than chase after the two heroes, the kaiju's attention turns to the civilians running in fear. Krystalak snarls and goes back on all fours as he makes his way towards the panicking citizens. Izuku sees this and yells at Iida.

Izuku: Wait Iida stop! We gotta go back. That thing's heading back to the civilians. We gotta save them.

Iida: Right!

Iida turns around sharply and heads back to the kaiju.

Iida: What's the plan exactly?

Izuku: We just gotta get its attention!

Iida increases his speed and circles Krystalak. The kaiju stops himself as Iida circles him. Krystalak finds it hard to focus on one spot as Iida moves too fast for him. Krystalak then becomes dazed and staggers back, trying to keep his balance. Iida stops and puts Izuku down.

Iida: You help with the evacuation, I'll take care of the creature.

Izuku: Good luck with that!

Iida speeds away and gets Krystalak's attention. The kaiju roars and runs after him. Izuku watches Iida run and lead the monster away from the citizens. Just before Izuku could turn himself around, he sees the creature stop itself and turn around. Izuku freezes with fear.

Izuku: It knew! It knew Iida's plan!

Krystalak roars and stomps towards Izuku. The young hero turns around and sees the citizens. Izuku then wipes the fear off his face and turns back around to face the creature. Izuku then grows enraged and feels his arm become heated up.

Izuku: I won't let you hurt these people!

Izuku yells and jumps into the air towards Krystalak. Izuku's entire arm then becomes powered up and burns the clothing right off of it. Izuku yells and concentrates all of his pent up rage into his punch.

Izuku: Smash!!!!

Izuku then lands a punch right in the middle of Krystalak's face and knocks the kaiju right on its back. Izuku lands on the ground. His breathing is heavy and quick. Sweat drips down from his forehead and falls directly onto the pavement. Izuku bends down on one knee as he tries to calm himself down. Iida comes back and stops right next to him. Iida bends down and lightly touches Izuku on the shoulder.

Iida: Midoriya...are you...alright?

Izuku turns to face and gets back up. Izuku lifts up his arm and sees it is completely purple.

Izuku: Yeah, I'm fine.

The two then hear a loud growl as Krystalak gets right back up. Krystalak looks down at them and appears to be even more enraged than before. He lets out a deafening screech and punches directly at the two heroes.

Izuku: Iida move!

Izuku pushes himself and Iida out of the way as Krystalak's fist comes crashing down. Krystalak roars again and slashes at them. Both heroes duck and Krystalak misses them. Krystalak screeches and tries to stomp on them. They move out of the way of the attack. The kaiju then turns to kill the evacuees. Izuku gets back up and runs after Krystalak. He yells at Krystalak, trying to get its attention.

Izuku: Hey! Attack me! Leave them alone!

Iida: Midoriya move!

Izuku turns around and sees Krystalak's tail come swinging at him. Iida pushes him out of the way just in time as the massive tail barely misses them. Krystalak goes on all fours and smacks a car towards a few of the civilians. They all scream and see the car fly right at them. But just as the car comes falling down on them, it is then shot in mid air. The citizens silence themselves as the car blows up suddenly. They look across the street and see another hero. From where the citizens are, they see the hero is wearing a type of armor that resembles grenades on the hero's arms. Bakugo emerges from the shadows, angry as always.

Bakugo: Man is it so hard just to get some sleep around here? Bakugo turns his head towards Izuku and Iida.

Bakugo: Hey Deku. Now is my turn to fight against this monster so you better stay out of my way or I'll kill you.

Izuku: Yup, that's Kaachan for you.

Krystalak growls and Bakugo looks up at him. They both exchange enraged glances at one another. Bakugo lights up his grenades.

Bakugo: Well come on then you bastard!

Bakugo slams his two grenades together and launches a massive fire attack at Krystalak. Bakugo increases its power and causes Krystalak to step back just a few feet. Bakugo stops and launches multiple fireballs at the kaiju. All of them do nothing but just make Krystalak even more enraged. Bakugo continues his attack, not taking a second to stop.

Bakugo: Why aren't these working!?

Krystalak stands up to full height and squints his eyes at Bakugo. His back crystals also start to glow a faint light purple. Izuku and Iida see this.

Izuku: Kacchan get out of there!

Bakugo: Shut up you nerd!

Iida: No he's right! Run!

Bakugo: I said shut...

Before Bakugo could finish his sentence, Krystalak unleashes a power crystal beam that causes a massive explosion right in front of Bakugo that it sends him flying back. Both Iida and Izuku are blown back as well. The explosion destroys almost the entire neighborhood. Krystalak then ceases his attack and snarls. The battle falls silent as all three heroes are knocked out. All except for Izuku. He opens his eyes and looks around. He sees Iida unconscious along with Bakugo. Izuku finds himself to be extremely weak after the blast as he can't even get up. Krystalak then appears right behind him and walks over to him. Izuku tries to crawl away but he's grabbed by Krystalak. Izuku feels his entire body getting crushed by just the kaiju barely grabbing him. Krystalak lifts Izuku up in his hand and brings the hero up to his mouth. Krystalak stares at Izuku and releases a gust of wind right in his face. Krystalak then roars at Izuku. Izuku closes his eyes while saliva and wind blow right at him. Krystalak then opens his mouth and inches Izuku closer and closer to his wide open jaws. Izuku struggles to free himself but the kaiju's strength proves too much for him. Izuku accepts his fate but Krystalak is hit in the face by a flying truck. Krystalak roars and looks in the direction the vehicle was thrown from. The kaiju then sees All Might leap right at him. All Might lands on the kaiju's face and repeatedly punches Krystalak in the eye. Krystalak roars in pain while All Might assaults his vision. Krystalak is in so much pain that he drops Izuku. The young hero falls through the air without any way to stop himself. All Might sees this and jumps from Krystalak's face and grabs Izuku in the nick of time. The two land safely on the ground while Krystalak still covers his eye. All Might then begins to cough up blood. Izuku watches in shock.

Izuku: All Might, you're bleeding!

All Might: I don't have that much time left. No matter what happens Young Midoriya, we must not let this creature destroy Musutafu.

Izuku nods his head in agreement. All Might gets back up and wipes the blood from his mouth. Izuku charges up his attack.

All Might: Let's go!

Izuku: Yes, sir!

Krystalak roars at them once again. He then drags his claws across the ground as he sharpens them. Krystalak goes on all fours and runs to them. All Might and Izuku still stand their ground. The two heroes run towards Krystalak and All Might jumps up in the air and says, "Detroit Smash!!!!!!!!!" But just before All Might can hit the beast, Krystalak moves out of the way of the punch. All Might misses and is then hit by Krystalak's oncoming tail. All Might is forced to the ground and severely injured from the hit.

Izuku: All Might!!!

Krystalak turns to Izuku and swings his finger at him, sending Izuku a few feet away. Battered and bruised, Izuku gets back from the hit. But as he gets up, he notices a light purple reflection on the ground. He looks up and sees Krystalak preparing his energy blast. Izuku stands his ground and powers up his body. Krystalak readies himself to launch the attack. Krystalak's beam is about to be launched but is cancelled when he is hit in the face by a car. Krystalak gives an annoyed look on his face. He turns and sees Bakugo standing up but not just him. The other heroes, Kaminari, Kirishima, Asui, Tokoyami and even Iida, are there as well.

Tokoyami: Are you in need of some assistance Midoriya?

Izuku: You guys! What are you doing here?

Kaminari: Isn't it obvious? We came to become heroes.

Kirishima: So what's the deal with big, tall and ugly over here?

Iida: We don't know but it wants to destroy the city and all the innocents who live in it.

Kirishima: Well that sounds like a good enough reason to beat the crap out of this thing.

Asui: Should we make up a plan first?

Bakugo: Yeah here's the plan, Stop talking and fight!

Tokoyami: Brilliant thinking. He says in a sarcastic tone.

The heroes get into their battle stances but immediately move out of the way as Krystalak fires his energy attack at them. Bakugo and Kirishima take cover. Asui grabs Kaminari's hand and uses her tongue to lift them up and away from the attack. Tokoyami uses Dark Shadow to block both him and Iida.

Izuku watches this as he runs over to All Might. He leans down and examines All Might's wounds.

Izuku: All Might, are you ok?

All Might: Are you kidding, that was nothing.

All Might places his hand down and tries to get himself back up.

All Might: Ow! Nevermind, still kind of hurts.

Izuku turns his head and sees Bakugo launch another fireball at the kaiju. But it barely fazes him. Krystalak returns the attack by trying to step on Bakugo and Kirishima. The two dodge Krystalak's attack. While Krystalak fights the other heroes, Izuku thinks to himself.

Izuku: They're not going to be able to hurt it by just attacking its body. It has to have a weak spot.

Izuku examines the creature and sees its yellow piercing eyes. He then gasps.

Izuku: The eyes. When All Might was attacking the monster, it was getting hit in the eyes and acted like it was in absolute pain. That's it.

Izuku then stands up and yells at the other heroes.

Izuku: Aim for its eyes! They're its weakest spot!

Iida hears this and turns his head to face Izuku.

Iida: Are you sure Midoriya?!

Izuku: Trust me!

Iida nods his head and talks to Tokoyami.

Iida: We must attack it by injuring its eyes. Midoriya says that it's eyes are the weakest part of its body.

Tokoyami: I can try to get Dark Shadow to attack it there but first we have to get it to stop blasting its energy attack at us!

Bakugo and Kirishima watch as Krystalak fires his beam at Tokoyami and Iida.

Bakugo: We gotta get its attention.

Kirishima then smiles and bumps Bakugo on the shoulder.

Kirishima: I got an idea! Throw me at it!

Bakugo: What?!

Kirishima: Just do it!

Bakugo grabs Kirishima by the arm and throws right at Krystalak's face. Kirishima turns into his hardened form and prepares a punch. As Krystalak focuses on Tokoyami and Iida, he doesn't see Kirishima flying right at him. With a late reaction, Krystalak gets hit by Kirishima right in the eye.

The kaiju roars in pain and staggers back. Asui and Kaminari see this.

Kaminari: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Asui: Yeah

Asui tosses Kaminari at Krystalak, allowing him time to harness his Quirk of electricity. As Krystalak attends to his left eye, his right eye is then hit by Kaminari and his electricity. Krystalak is in even more pain. Kaminari lands on the ground from the jump.

Kaminari: Direct hit!

Krystalak looks down at Kaminari and opens his mouth wide open. Kaminari looks up and sees nothing but fangs coming right at him.
